Been a long time since I've done this. Jyo thought as he stood ontop of the very hill he had been on when speaking to Zaire a few days ago. But this time it was during the night and he had left no letter for her to meet him here. He like anyone else liked his times of silence and solitude. though it wasn't a form of depression. He simply wanted to get away from it all and not have to think of anything in particular.
There was no moon out this night. But instead it was a clear star filled sky. Jyo loved looking up at the stars. To think of the vastness of the universe and how small and unimportant matters on this planet were. Even though such matters did feel important to him. Strangly this knowladge never made Jyo feel insignifigant. He just loved the feeling of knowing that he was a being in something much larger than whaat one could always see. Which was why he enjoyed the night so much. he could see the vastness of space.
He knew it was getting late. About midnight or so. He felt a nice cool breeze flow by and tug at his long red coat and rustle the feathers of his large white wings. he brushed some hair out of his face and sighed. I wonder if I'll ever see our race be able to reach the far away stars. That would be a true wonder. he thought. Jyo also knew he'd love to go up there and out into that vast blackness. It never seemed to be foreboding to him. It always seemed inviting. the night sky always seemed to call out to let those who wish travel among the distant reaches beyond this planet.

Vrac hung upside down in a nearby tree. He had been resting his wings when this man showed up and now he stood on top of the hill and watched the stars. The fact that the man had wings gave Vrac a feeling that it was someone from the academy from the begining. To bad since he couldn't eat academy students or teachers as long as they kept him safe from the society. So now he just hung and watched the man. If he was lucky there were something going on that might make the night go a bit faster, but on the other hand it seemed like this guy just came here for the stars.
Does he even know how good place this would be to bring a girl to? Oh well, humans have their own problems and most of them are related to their brains. But those wings should mean that he has more blood than the average human, I wonder how it would taste. Damn rule.
Vrac would have thrown away the rule that stoped him from biting those from the academy but he was all to aware that it would mean a certain death to become enemy with this gang to. Then he would have three groups against him if you included the church.

Jyo sudden;y felt the presence of another. Not that he could read thoughts or had any such powers to find others besides Zaire. No this was that universal feeling one got when being watched. Jyo turned to face the trees and spoke. "Whos there?" He called out sounding more curious than anything else. Few things scared Jyo. But many things interested him.
His white eyes scanned the area hoping that if this person didn't come out that he or she could be spotted. Jyo seriously hoped the person didn't want to start a fight. That was the last thing he needed at the moment.

This guy's actually really sharp. Vrac couldn't help but wonder how sharp more exactly and decided to try and see how long it would take for the angel or whatever it was to figure out that it was something wrong with the bat except that it's huge. He screeched and flaped his wings once and continued to stare at the angel after that.
The night's still young and we'll see how long he will take. And in case he'll be hostile... Well, sacred in the eyes of the lord is the death of his saints.

It was then Jyo noticed a large figure. his night vision wasn't bad but it wasn't really all that good either. The figure was mostly black on black. Without the moon vision for someone not really trained or attuned to seeing in the dark was extremely limited.
"I see you. I would rather have you come one out. I don't meet many people here. I'm curious. WHat would bring you to such a far out place? It takes a while for me to fly here myself. I don't belive I've ever met anyone but one other here before." he said still sounding pleasent. the almost musical echo to his tne still present. It was clear that pure curiousity was Jyo's motivation right now.

This was a suprise for vrac. The man he tested to see if he could figure the bat out didn't seem to realise that it was a bat there to begin with. This left Vrac with some problems. He couldn't just fly over there and be friendly to him if he wanted his cover left. He wasn't a bird after all. He decided to dump the whole bat thing and get into close range. The bat he was changed into a mist that made a thin layer over the ground as he snuck up on the angel.
Come on, please be a little hostile, angel. I haven't had a reason to drink fresh blood for ages.

Jyo noticed a few changes with the dark figure. It shifted and seemed to become something like a mist. Jyo had a feeling this might be a vampire. Even though others had the ability shown here to become like mist. Vampires seemed to be the best he had heard of. He stepped away from the mist that had almost gathered at his feet. he jumped back getting a tight grip on his weapons but not drawing them. "I don;t particularaly find this amusing." he said simply now knowing what to look for he kept a close eye on the strange thin mist. Though it wasn't easy for him to see.

Good. This angel didn't seem to be entirely stupid after all. He did at least seem able to tell that something's wrong when a bat turns into mist. Vrac decided not to play more. If he could give this guy a scare so that he attacked there's a chance for Vrac to get a nice fresh meal. So he began to materialize just a few meters in front of Jyo giving him a big smile.
"Good evening. A wonderfull night for a hunt, isn't it?"

Jyo stepped back but his hands left the handels of his weapons. He observed the man before him and then spoke. "Well if thats the way you see it Im sure it is a lovely night for such a thing. Granted I prefere the pleasent view of the starts to be perfectly honest." Jyo said.
"My names Jyo mashima. I am a student at the Academy. Would you be kind enough to allow me the knowladge of your name?' He asked.

"Why of course I will. My name is Vrac Dudall, I'm most pleased to meet you mr. Mashima. It is nice to see another student from this academy every now and then that isn't locked up during the night, you know what I mean?"
Ok, he didn't go on the offense, but there were still hope if Vrac kept giving him small ideas of what he wished to do.
"The stars are indeed beautiful this night, but I myself prefer the moon. It's a wonderfull object isn't it? I heard that humans has begun to travel to it and I find that most annoying since they're ruining it for sure."

Jyo shrugged. "Well I guess many just don't care to come out during the night. Particularaly around here. It's not exactly safe at times anymore with more and more rupters occuring." Said Jyo keeping his eyes locked onto the person before him. An interesting person to say the least Vrac didn't seem particularly threatening. But something was underneath all the politness. "As for humanity's progress to the moon I'm rather neautral on the matter. It has positive and negative sides like anything that has ever happened." He said

"Yes, safety isn't as it were before. But I still think that people should trust those who takes care about those ruptures. If nothing else they might help to discover them. But most humans are cowards and wimps if you ask me. If you ask a couple of friends of mine you're a good food source. But I guess that's true to, we all do what we can to survive."
Vrac smiled as he said the last part. The teeths were nice and white just as his skin but that only made it worse to see them.
"And the technology you people are developing, it's disgusting. Why should we need machines when there's magic and manpower?"
