The arrival of 'Ying and Yang'

[Ziare]

Ziare stood just inside the door leaning against the wall. She looked around the barren room remembering that not long ago hers looked exactly the same.

"All the rooms look the same until someone puts their own sparks into it. Decorating and what not. Mine looked exactly like this on my first day." she said smiling. "It will seem more like home when you get it all set up for yourself. I think you'll like it here."

Uthir would nod, and then freeze slightly. His smile would fade as he would once again hear the dark, raspy version of his voice sound out through his head. His eyes would widen slightly. Good thing he was facing away from the girl, otherwise she would have noticed this strange look of fear upon his face.

RATHER BLAND ROOM DON'T YOU THINK UTHIR!? I SAY WE PAINT IT RED! WITH THAT GIRLS BLOOD! AHAHA!!

No! Your sick! We aren't going to harm her! She hasn't done anything wrong. So just shut your sick mouth!

He would shake his head slightly and realize that he had been standing really still. When he spoke back to his 'brother' he was not speaking out loud. He was speaking with his mind. He'd turn quickly to face the girl that had been extremely nice to him so far. He would smile again and then offer her entrance into his dormitory. There wasn't much to sit on obviously, but she could sit upon the edge of his bed if she'd like. He didn't mind standing. He would quickly toss the large scythe from his back, and the sword on his hip, into a corner of the room.

"Come in, come in! Sit down! Tell me a little about yourself? I haven't really learned much about you.."

[Ziare]

Ziare smiled and sat on the corner of the bed and watched her new friend put his weapons in the corner.

"Well there really isn't much to say...what would you like to know?" she asked shyly. She began twirling a lock of her hair being a little nervous for some reason.

[Uphir Alastor]

"Ohh.. I don't know.. Where did you come from? What do you like to do for fun? Do you have a boyfriend?"

Uthir smiled wide again. The last one was a joke. But he wanted to see how she would react. She seemed like an interesting girl. She wasn't that much younger then He. He would quickly remove the red and black robe, his bare upper body would be showing now. He hoped she didn't mind. He wasn't planning on wearing such dreadful cloths. He hated the colors of red and black. He would move too his bags that had arrived in the room before him, and he would quickly sift through his cloths till he found a plain, blue shirt. He would quickly throw it on and then turn back to the girl. For now he would leave the dreadful red and black pants on. As he did not feel as though he should strip down that far in front of the girl. After all, he had just met her.

"Sorry about that.."

Ziare's eyes opened wide at the last question it seemed a bit quick had it been a joke? She wasn't sure but she wasn't afraid to tell him.

"Well I'm actually from a little village outside London in the country. It's called Rosewood it's a very small village." she told him her eyes getting that glassy look as she thought of home. "Let's see what do I do for fun, well I read a lot and I like to hang out with my friends and draw sometimes." she offered trying hard to think about what she did in her off time.

She watched as he changed his robe and looked away unsure of what exactly to do. She was a little uncomfortable him changing in front of him changing.

"Sorry about that." he said when he was finished. She turned back facing him and now he was wearing a blue shirt. She smiled.

"No it's all right." she said. "And as for the last question, yes I do have a boyfriend."

He listened to every word she had said. as he had went about changing and such, and then it had finally come, the final question. He didn't really care that she had a boyfriend. She wasn't really planning on getting too close to this girl anyways. As of now, all he wanted was friendship.

SEE?! She's taken already! What the HELL are you doing waiting our time?! We could be out mutilating people! Having fun.. but NOOOO.. You'd rather talk to HER!

SHUT UP UPHIR! Your an asshole.. Just shut the hell up!

His smile had not faded that time though. He had kept it on as if nothing had happened. Though today, Uthir was getting extremely annoyed that his other personality. And it was worse for the fact that they could communicate. He wished he could just shut Uphir out completely, but that was nearly impossible.

"Well, it sounds like you've got an interesting life.. Say.. About fun stuff.. Anything fun we could do around the area?"

[Ziare]

Ziare sat back and thought..

"Hmmm, well there is the whole city. There is a park closeby that is pretty to walk through.." she said trying to think hard absently tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "Well what would you want to do exactly? I mean do you have anything in mind you would like to see or do?"

She looked back at him hoping he would have an idea of what he wanted to do. She was curious about this boy every now and then the smile would just drop of his face as if he was struggling with something a memory or a decision. Then it would return suddenly bright or fake.

"The park sounds good I guess. I've always liked nature.. If you want to go then we can. I guess."

He would keep his crystal blue gems upon the girl as he spoke. She was interesting, that was for sure. He would walk toward the bed and plop down upon it, next to her, and then lean back as he awaited her answer. If she wanted to go, then he had no problems going. He didn't mind walking, and it was the truth. He liked the nature too.

Ziare stood up just after Uthir sat down next to her and turned around to face him.

"All right the park isn't far and it's truly lovely." she said offering him a hand up. "Ready to go I'll lead the way."

Even though he had just gotten comfortable, he would allow her to offer a hand and lift him up. He trusted her by now. If she said it wasn't too far from here, he would believe her, for now anyways. He would grab her hand and when he was on his feet, he would let go, as long as she let him.

I say when we get there.. You cut her head off!

Shut up.. If I could cut someones head off. It would be yours!

"You lead the way!"

He would wait behind her and let her lead the way. Since he didn't know the way, it would not help for him to walk from the room first. Besides, he'd like to lock his door before he left. Never know who might try to get into his apartment.

Ziare waited for him to lock his door and led the way. It was only down two floors and in the back of the campus. She showed him the door. The garden or park was very large a walkway wound through it past ponds and fountains. Flowers that were planted in special ways to represent runes or elements of magic. Trees shaded the walkways and benches sat here and there some backless.

"Come lets walk." she said kindly. "Tell me what do you like to do in your spare time?"

"Well. I don't do much now.. I didn't mind reading my parents books around the house.. I'd help them out a lot when I was young.. Thats about though.. Never really done anything amazingly fun."

He would walk a long side the blond haired girl in the pink sweater. She was nice, and he really enjoyed her company. He was glad that he had gotten the change to meet her.

Ziare listened and nodded in agreement.

"I love books, when you can loose yourself in a book only coming back when you choose. Being able to go anywhere in the world and experience things that you never could here. It's like going on a vacation from yourself." she said smiling excitement in her eyes as she talked about her favorite hobby.

"So have a girlfriend?" she asked giggling and bumping his arm in a joking way. "Have to get you back you know."

"I love books, when you can loose yourself in a book only coming back when you choose. Being able to go anywhere in the world and experience things that you never could here. It's like going on a vacation from yourself."

So, not only was she attractive, she was smart. Uthir's pearly white grin would be seen after she had spoken that question. He did not have a girlfriend, as he was sheltered when he was younger. He had not really had a chance to get out and meet people. Though he really wished that he had been able to.

"Well. No, I can't say that I do.."

[Ziare]

Ziare nodded

"Well I bet you get one here. You are kind and a nice person to talk to. You will meet someone I imagine." she said optimistically. "You just have to have faith in yourself and others will to."

She walked for a bit more in the garden looking at the wild life and stopping at the pond.

"It's so tranquil here." she said sitting down.
