Seeking Relief.(Nina)

[Leon]

Leon had met some interesting people here at this school lately, but he had only spoke to a few of them, and no more than four words at a known time. He was not open to anyone and constently walked around concentrating. This was for his own protection he believed. He knew nothing, and very little more about how others went about things, but found some to be nice. He had not met one hostile person since he had been here which was good, maybe a sign that he would be able to learn what he wanted without having any trouble.

He walked through the academy looking for something to do, the spear was nicely latched onto his back with the magnet. His green vest was open under that, but over a white t-shirt, that hung slightly over his tan cargo shorts, they extended just passed his knees. His short, spikey, golden blonde hair seemed to not have gel in it at all, but still stayed up. He was looking for a quiet place and just happened to find one. The roof. Yes it was oddly shaped, but it was still a pretty good and quiet place. There seemed to be almost no one else up there except for a few people who knew of the roof as well. no one seemed to talk really, but there where signs they knew each other, because of the body signals.

Leon found a nice place and sat down. He placed the spear and magnet strap to the floor next to him, and just looked out onto the grounds and the rest of this flouting island.

[Nina]

Two pairs of green eyes stretched their gaze out over the island. "Lu why did we come here?" THe little cat on the girl's shoulder let out a meow and began to rub its face on her cheek, as she took into purring.

SHe tucked her red hair behind an ear, and sighed. "Right to be happy!" She straightened, and reached up to pet the small mass of long black fur. Lu then jumped from her shoulder, and began to run. "Lu! Get back here!" She ran after the little cat but not before she found someone else, who seemed to be thinking a lot.

The little cat looked up at the boy and meowed loudly, almost mournfully, as she put her little paw on his leg, and turned her head to the side. "Sorry! She's a people person!" Nina said laughing.

[Leon]

Leon turned his head with question on his face when he heard the loud meow from the cat. He would then titl his head when the paw touched his leg. This was an interesting creature. Leon hadn't really set eyes on one of these up close, but it was an interesting thing to look at.

"Sorry! She's a people person!" Came a voice from behind him.

Leon stood up slowly with a smile and looked to the girl who spoke. He put up his hands in defence and shook his head as if to let it slip. He didn't mind really. He would tilt his head again to her and then speak.

"I'm. . .Leon."

[Nina]

"Hi." She was glad that he didn't mind about Lu.

"I'm Nina, and this nosey little kitty is Lu." She bent down and picked her up to little protest, and Nina held the little black furball up to Leon, she meowed again, this time in gretting. "SHe's quite harmless, and I think she likes you." Nina smiled as Lu started purring again.

[Leon]

Leon nodded his head and reached out alittle timid to see if he could pet Lu. Hopefully he wouldn't get scratched or bitten, but he didn't suspect such a thing to happen. He was a kind of person who was so innocent, and away from greed, or corruption, that people just seemed to like being around him, but he didn't like being around lots of people. He was afraid at times around a bunch of people.

But right now he didn't seem afraid in fact he was kinda enjoying himself, and was it just me or did Leon introduce himself? Thats something he never done before.

If he was able to pet the black bundle of fur, Leon would mess around a bit and use his static electrical current to frizz the cats hair a bit. This would also accidently effect Nina. He still didn't know how to completely controle his magic, so it did do things he didn't like to happen alot.

[Nina]

Lu looked at him funny and was getting tired of waiting for people to pet her and managed to jump out of Nina's grasp and jump onto Leon's shoulder, purring and rubbing her nose against his cheek. Nina laughed a little, she didn't usually laugh around people, but then agian Lu wasn't with her all the time, and Lu was her humanity in a way, her kindness, and happiness, all the feelings she felt under her sheild of anger.

"She won't bite or claw you, you don't need to be so nervous!" She laughed again.

[Leon]

Leon was alittle surprised when Lu had leaped to his shoulder. He didn't mind though, he reached over to his shoulder and pet her when he was assured she wouldn't bite or anything. He was told to stop being so nervouse and he kinda blushed. He wasn't used to people, so he made up for it.

"I'm. . . Not used to being around. . . People."

Boy as the days go on, his speech inprooves and his sentences get longer. Maybe he was just getting used to people. Yea right, Leon was a nervouse wreck in the making while he walks down the halls around all the people.

[Nina]

Nina smiled a little. "I don't much like people either, but Lu makes everything differant!" She reached up and pet Lu's little head and felt as she moved to be scratched.

It was true Nina wasn't totally a people person, anger was what kept her safe, and everyone else at a distance. Lu changed her, when she was with Lu she could be happier, and friendlier, andjust a better person all around!

[Leon]

"Indeed."

Leon replied as he smiled a bit more. it was alittle different now and Leon was alittle more open than usuel. So he decided to ask a question. Yea so what he can talk too. His question was meant for most students that he has met. They all seemed to be able to do something cool, or interesting, so Leon wanted to know.

"What can. . .You do?"

[Nina]

Nina smiled almost laughed, and pointed out to a field. "Watch." She said and snapped her fingers.

A stream of fire fell from the sky like a bolt of lightning blazing with colors, reds and oranges, white and blue in places. It began to spiral as she twisted her finger in a circular motion. When it hit the ground, or got close at least, it disappeared. "Thats why you don't mess around with fire." She said and laughed. "I came here to learn a little more, I need more control, or bad things happen." She said leaving it at that. "And yourself?" She said twisting her hair in her finger.

[Leon]

Leon smiled and reached over to hand Lu back to Nina. His ability was how you say, not pet friendly, nor person friendly. actuelly it was best to be a bit away from him when he did it. He magic was amazing still, it did impress Leon quite a bit. Thats why he wanted to show her the Rah-Ken spell of his family line.

As she would take Lu back Leon would back up a couple of steps and look out to the place she burnt out in the field. Leon stood there and closed his eyes concentrating on the spell. Soon little bolts began discharging around his body, and his cloths began to flutter around in a slow and rising craze. His eyes opened quickly and wide as his hands that where at his sides, had pointed the palms straight down to the ground. He would reach over with his left hand and grab about just below the elbow and drag the arm upright. With it electric shocks and snaps could be heard and seen as it pointed at the field.

"Rah-Ken!"

the word itself sounded like it went against nature because of the odd echoe it left behind, but the huge ball of lightning struke the plaines with a loud boom, that shoock the air and would rattle the ears. Ground was dug up and earth was seperated. Yet now Leon could only do that two more times, and he was severly drained of energy. He was hunched over and breathing alittle hard, but soon straightened out. His cloths stopped moving and he went back to his smile.

[Nina]

Rah-Ken... She let the word flow through her head. "Thats amazing!" She spoke with true astonishment in her voice, and put a hand on his shoulder. "But it takes a lot out of you doesn't it?" She laughed. "The best things in life come at a price." She said softly. "Speaking of good things, I'm a little hungry, how about some ice-cream, I saw this cute little stand earlier." Smiling she looked him straight in the eye, he seemed differant then other people, sheltered...Nina found it refreshing, to find some one so new to the world, like a child.

[Leon]

Leon felt her hand on his shoulder and looked her in the eye alittle happy. It did take alot out of him and she was right about the good things coming at a price, but then she mentioned Ice Cream.

"Ice Cream?"

He had this innocent look of question on his face for the thing. He didn't know what it was, but in the context it was used, it must of been edable, and made of ice?

[Nina]

Nina grabbed his hand and pulled him down the stiars and out the building, down the street only about a block, running through crowds, laughing all the while. Then she slowed and stopped, a small white box used to keep the ice-cream cold, and a multicolored umbrella to keep the vender shaded, the name of an ice-cream company on the umbrella to advertise. "One strawberry please, and..." She looked at him and thought for a moment. "Do you like chocolate?" She asked him as she got out her wallet.

[Leon]

"Wha-"

Leon got out before he was grabbed and pulled down the stairs through the school down the street, and through crowds. She was laughing the whole way and Leon just kinda tried to keep up and keep a smile. Once they reached there she stated a fruit. and then asked Leon if he liked chocalate. Well he had had it once before, so he figured why not and shook his head yes.
