Seeking Relief.(Nina)

[Nina]

She thanked the vender as he passed out two cones and she handed him the chocolate one. "Don't take to big of a bite, or you'll get a headach." She smiled and licked the pink mass of ice-cream. "But don't eat to slow or it will melt and drip all over you." She said with a kind smile, and turned to go back to the acadamy, Lu now on the ground stepped between them. She walked proudly, and looked from one to the other, and meowed occasionally.

[Leon]

Leon looked puzzling at this brown blob ontop of this cylinder thing. He heard the instructions so he took a small bite out of it. Leon opened his mouth quickly from it being so cold and tried to breath on it fast to make it melt. He wasn't expecting it to be cold or anything like that. He thought it would be normel, but it seemed to melt around his mouth and where he took the bite. He didn't know licking helped.

[Nina]

Nina laughed and Lu just rubbed herself on his leg encouragingly. "So what do you think?" She asked with a broad smile, looking at him softly. Did I make a friend? She asked her self and smiled, becuase it seemed so, a friend, and Lu was the one to thank. She licked her ice-cream, and it seemed to taste a little sweeter.

[Leon]

After a moment he just swallowed the piece of ice cram and watched as Nina licked hers. So he did the same and it actuelly tasted pretty go.

"Very good."

Leon looked back with a smile as they where almost back to the acadamy by now.

[Nina]

"You're not much of a talker are you?" She thought about the question for a moment and thought it slightly rude. "Not that its a bad thing." She said correcting herself, and sighing. "Everyone has times when they don't want to talk, be it because they are sad, or angry, or just...wanting silence." She felt so relaxed like no pressure exsisted, Lu meowed proudly and happily. Cat theropy...who knew? She thought as she licked at the ice-cream a little more, she was getting down to the cone, she bit into it and it crunched and broke. She chewed it happily in silence.

[Leon]

Leon heard the question and reached back with his left hand to scratch the back of his head as he gave a big chocolaty smile. He noticed she had bit into the cone so he tried it too, it was also good. Wow a cup of hmm ice cream as it's called and the cup is edible too? this is great.

"I'm not. . .Used to it. . . . I have been. . . . Alone for a long time."

Leon looked to his ice cream and licked some more as it was almost all gone. He took anotjher bite from the cone and smiled alittle less.

[Nina]

"Being alone isn't that bad but its not great at times either." She said munching on the cone, and the remains of the soft pink ice-cream. "Thats why I have Lu. She keeps me calm and relaxed." She spoke with a smile, and pulled out a napkin to wipe her mouth, and handed one to Leon.

[Leon]

Excepting the napkin and the words as he whipped some of the chocalate off best he could feel of it. He would finish off his cone slowly, to savor the taste.

He looked ahead of them to the academy and then to Nina. Then to Lu. She seemed to be a kind enough person, and Lu was intertaining if nothing else a cool cat.

"Thank you."

[Nina]

Nina sighed and looked at the school. "It seems so....so much bigger." She sounded as though she was thinking, and she was. Its seems as though they could teach you anything and everything you need to know. To survive, to kill... She shuddered at the thought, and looked over to Leon with a smile. "Is there anything else you want to do, before we get back to the academy?" She asked finishing up the cone.

[Leon]

Leon walked alittle bit more with Nina and listened to what she said. He closed his eyes and thought for a moment. He didn't really know what to do, or say at this moment, but he did know he had a question.

"Are we. . . Friends, Nina?"

Leon had this confused questioning look on his face. He really had only met one other, or well two others that where nice and interesting people, he called one friend, and seemed to look at another as more of a mentor. But he was unsure of Nina. She was nice and they seemed to hit it off pretty well, but Leon needed the verbal answer. Odd, huh? for a boy who doesn't talk he needed it said verbally.

[Nina]

Nina thought for a moment. "Well, I suppose...Yes, I would very much like to have a friend." She said smiling, and looked down at Lu. My first real friend... She thought happily, and looked at Leon. He was quiet, and shy she guessed, but she didn't mind, it just meant that they could have conversations to get him used to talking. Some one I don't need to worry about hurting me... She thought and her smile broadened, and she picked up Lu, who seemed to be very proud of herself.

[Leon]

Leon smiled to Nina glad to have another friend. He seemed to magnatize people to him so to speak, even though he tries to be the person in the back of the crowed. He watched Nina pick up Lu and he thought for a moment.

"I. . .Want to go. . .Somehwere quiet."

Leon didn't want to go back to that load academy right now. it made him nervouse and usuelly made him suspiciouse of everything. the academy was lucky Leon wasn't blowing people up yet.

[Nina]

Nina thought for a moment, and stopped. "I don't know where there is a quiet place to be honost..." She said petting the top of Lu's head, eyes closed, and ears flat, Lu was enjoying herself, and made it known with her rythmic purring. "Do you?" She asked looking at him with a little smile.

[Leon]

"Heard of a place. . . .Called the Park?"

Leon had heard of the park from Xiare when he needed to find somewhere quiet and away from people durring that storm. He hadn't been there yet, but he thought it would be a nice quiet place. A place Leon would like to be for a while. He needed rest from concentrating, just a bit more.

[Nina]

"Oh yeah!" She said softly and looked at a few street signs. "I think I know which way it is..." Nina turned onto the street to cross it being careful to look before she stepped out onto the ashfalt.
