Junpei was out of Dark Arts class and was checking the schedule of a one Halsephea, his Dark Arts teacher. Junpei was a student fo the Dark Arts, a summoner by nature and n the end he wanted to knwo more about the base of his magic. To have knowledge is power, to have power is to be capable of helping those you wish, to help those you wish is your own ends. Junpei had those he wanted to keep safe, like Loish and his family.
That's why now Junpei had checked out his Dark Arts teacher's schedule, no to hard since he just dropepd by the office and told them he wished to see the teacher. So now Junpei was on his way to find him. From what he heard he was going to be in that same romo as earlier, at least he hoped he was.
To be safe Junpei had Loish see if anyone was in the room, smelling adn tasting the air.
Got nothin Boss.
So Junpei opened the door to the romo adn looked around, hoping to find his teacher and maybe, just maybe, grab some extra studying from him.

*I was inside sitting at my desk, a pen moved on its own before me, grading papers. My mind made it make its every move. It was kind of amusing, but it made me keep my focus. Then, the door opened. The pen instantly dropped and rolled off the desk. I turned my head slowly to see Junpei in my room.*
"Good afternoon Junpei. What can I help you with?"

Junpei mentally sighed in releif that he hadn't interupted a huge class or something. Although he may not show it outside he did indeed get embarrassed, quite easily if the situation was right.
"Well sir, I was wondering if maybe you could give me some private lessons. I've only been in your class once but already I know i've learned more from that than I had in a long time."
Junpei finished walking in and closed the door, he didn't want to interupt to much. Loish moved around on his shoulder and then switched from left to right, then back again. Loish liked this room for some reason, probably cause it was the one room where he wasn't the center of attention.
Junpei smiled slightly, nervously, hoping his demon instructor would say yes.

"Interesting. So, you seek more in the way of the dark arts..."
*I say, contemplating the choice. I was supposed to stick to the curriculum, and not veer off. Giving a student more dark knowledge than they needed could prove dangerous.*
"Are you sure? Too much dark magic can taint one's mind..."

"Yes sir i'm sure. I know full well the dangeros of the dark arts. My grandfather came here as a student as well, a summoner like me. He almost lost to the dark magic he weilded once..."
Junpei sighed at Loish, he was moving again, asking if he could get up and move.
"Sir do you mind if my Jhereg get's up and flies around? There isn't much room in my room for him to move around."
Junpei stood at the door, somewhat rigid, he didn't exactly know HOW he was supposed to act in the presence of a demon, much less a teacher at this school. It actually scared him a bit to think of what a teacher like Halsephea could do.

"No problem at all. Let your creature spread its wings." I said, making a hand gesture saying 'go ahead.' I crossed my arms and stood up, approaching the boy. As I did, I towered over the boy.
"Sigh... I don't find it wise to do this... Listen, come back to me once you have become more in tune with magic. Unless.... you think you can handle it..."

At the words, No pro- Loish was in the air flying around in soft circles, flapping now and then to keep airborne. Every three or four seconds he would pull a sharp bank and reverse direction. Junpei smiled mentaly, adn Loish smiled back. Maybe now Loish would quit complaining about the constant groundings.
"Thank you sir, from both of us."
As his instructor got up and towereed over Junpei, Junpei could only look up into his demon teachers eyes. At his words Junpei did nothing, he just stood silent for a seoncd thinking, trying to decide, was his body adn his mind ready for this? Coudl he really control the darkness that this magic tried to tame? He could die if he did this, he could lose his magic if he did this... risks and gains.. all played hell with his mind.
"I belive sir, that I can. I may not look it, but I have spent the last 15 years of my life working around and with magic. My parents were mages, my grandparents were mages, and im sure my bloodline goes all the way back to the dark ages. In all honesty sir... I want this. I want to see what I can do, my heart and mind both say that this is a good idea. I just need the right teacher..."

"First of all, I am flattered that you think I am the right teacher... And I believe your story about your family... But still... you are so young... Sigh..."
*I said hesitantly, contemplating the situation. Then, genius struck. I walked over to a filing cabinet and withdrew a purple sphere orb. I walked back to Junpei.*
"Grasp this stone. If you are ready for what I have to teach, it will turn green. If you are not ready, you will be blasted back with negative energy. If you truely think you are ready, grasp it."

Junpei lokoed up at his teachers face, he seemed hesitent to teach Junpei more about the Dark arts, to teach him to be stronger and better. With the words he spoke Junpei thought he woudl be turned away, sent back and told to come back when he got older adn wiser. Maybe his teacher was right, but junpei felt this was right, that this... the dark arts, was his calling.
As Halsephea walked across teh room to his cabinet Junpei let out his breath, he hadn't even realised he was holding it in. This coudl be bad, maybe he was going over to grab some ancient black magic devise that tested you through.. extreme measures. Junpei coudl just invision some small animal that would kill you if you weren't fit for the job.
However, his teacher returned witha small, purple orb that looked more like a child ball thing anything. Junpei couldn't help but look at it in sheer curiousity.
"Sir..?"
But before his question coudl come out it was answered. This thing would test him to see if he was worthy of the teachings Halsephea woudl offer. Not even wasting a moment Junpei reached out and put his hand on the orb. In all hsi heart adn mind he beleived that the dark arts were his calling, he knew, even deep down, that h woudl use the dark arts, maybe it would throw him back, maybe it wouldn't. But in that instance that Junpei's hand landed on that orb, he hoped to anything that was listening that he would be accepted.

*As your hand lands on the orb, a small surge of energy jolts into your hand. It hurts like shit.*
"Hmm... it has mixed feelings. You are almost at the point of readiness... Hmm... I am still unsure... Please Junpai, give me time to think... I will give you a reply by tomarrow."
*I said returning to my desk.*

Junpei kept his hand in place, at least he hadn't gotten thrown back through the solid door behind him, now that would have hurt like hell. As Halsephea spoke Junpei nodded slowly, the inside of his palm had a nice burn mark, a nice ring aroudn the ouside of his palm. Junpei shook his hand lightly to try and 'shake off' some of the pain.
Calling out for Loish to come back he turned and placed his hand on the door, but before exiting he said, over his shoulder.
"Thank you sir, i'm glad to know that you will at least give it some thought."
Opening the door Junpei stepped out into the hall and then leaned back against the door, he took a deep breatha dn then let it out slowly, he swore his heart had just skipped beat, had just been inches from stopping on the spot and killing Junpei.
Pushing off Junpei started wlaking down the hall, he really needed to clear his mind now.
