"Oh come on, little buddy! Anyone can set a tree on fire. It takes real power to set stone on fire though. You know, one of those things that don't burn? Trees are mere fuel for our skills. I could probably set you on fire, but it'd burn me out pretty quick." It was true, he could burn water with one of his spells. It was just really taxing to use that spell to that degree. It was easier to make it vaporize.
"By the way, I know you don't sleep in fireplaces. You're too big, and we all know not even dragons posess the power Santa Claus does..." He said that so matter-of-factly, it almost seemed like he believed his words, right up until he was laughing and broke his serious expression. "You know, back in the day, the damsel had to be rescued from the dragon, but I guess they finally decided to team up!"

Armenius chuckled his breath coming out of his large nostrils warmly. He turned to Ziare.
I like this one Ziare, he's spunky. Armenius told her and lay down with his head on his massive claws.
Ziare smiled and nodded.
"Me too buddy, me too." she did like him as a friend of course nothing more. But he had a child like excitement that was so refreshing.
She looked to Nathan.
"Set a rock on fire hmmm, can you do that?" she asked clearly wanting to know if he really could.

"Setting a rock on fire is pretty hard, and it doesn't last long. But if I can agitte the molecules enough for the rock to melt, it will begin to burn the air around it. It's not burning the rock per say, but it certainly looks like it. But it really drains my energy to do it." He laughed a little at his weakness. Sure, for an incoming student, he was average in the mana department. But he felt kind of weak for it. But if he used the right spell, he could double his mana for a few minutes. But then his burnout could be extermely debilitating.
"I guess a smaller rock I could get to burn a lot more easily, but it wouldn't look as impressive. Also, I have a whole lot more to learn about burning things. Did you know the library has an entire shelf dedicated to fire spells of all types? It'd take forever to read all of that stuff!"

She laughed.
"I love your excitement it's so refreshing. Yes, I've read many of the books on fire in the library it's my strongest element. I love being a summoner because I have summons from all the elements but fire is my best."
She explained to him.
"I currently have six summons one looks like my twin but dark. Black hair and black wings she's like a dark angel." she told him excitedly it was obvious she was in love with magic. And cared for her summons very much.

"Hmm... Dark version of you, eh? Sexy." Sure, the comment was honest, but it was said in a way that was really more joking than serious. After all, humans and summons didn't have those kinds of relationships. Who even knew if summons had relationships at all. Kind of sounded like something heard in a tabloid magazine down at the checkout counters of the city supermarkets.
Unlike her, he wasn't in love with magic. It was more like it was a part of him that he wanted to improve. Like a normal guy might want to improve their test scores, or work on their abs. He wanted the power to burn everything. There was a little pyromaniac in everyone.

Ziare laughed knowing his remark for a joke and not true want. She summoned Sheeta and the dark girl sat next to Ziare on the ground her wings folded behind her.
"Afternoon." Sheeta said in her seductive voice her crystalline eyes looking straight at Nathan. "I am Sheeta."
Ziare smiled brightly it was cute. She usally didn't summon her summons to chat with someone but Sheeta was the only one besides Armenius and Celeste that could actually speak so she decided to see what would happen.
The black dress hung tightly on Sheeta's frame and the skirt blew slightly in the wind moving her hair in the same direction as her skirt. A single black feather fell from her right wing and floated off on the wind.
