[Talbot Linsorim]

Talbot pulled out a key she had aquired, though she wouldn't tell anyone where, and unlocked the door to a small room she had been storing the alchemaic candy in. The small sign on the door clacked softly against the wood- the burned words flashing 'Soon to Open' to any passerby. Talbot was very good at remembering to lock the door while she was in the room, while she was out of the room, and all the times in between.

She had arranged the tables and chairs in the room to where each surface was loaded down with the hard made candy. Sure- candy was great but she hadn't gotten permission to see rose wine- not would she seek it. It took too long to make and just as dangerous as pewter wine, if put in the inexperienced or the wrong hands. Talbot sighed, she'd have to monitor what went where and to whom it went. Something she had already prepared for- but something irked her. What about the status effecting ones? She needed to talk with an instructor about it but she hadn't been able to steal one away for even a moment.

With a heavy sigh, Talbot wrote down the last few numbers on the amount she had stored here. 20,000 seperate bags, each charmed to be clear as glass and as durable as a skin. This was a charm she had learned long ago from a healer- the only thing she had been able to learn beyond Healing Wind. She wouldn't and couldn't make healing candy- the last time had, had more unwelcome effects. She shook her head at the thought of those poor birds and as she scribbled a small note about an opening day.

Straightening a few tables, she counted and recounted, arranged and cleaned- she flinched when she heard the doornob turning-. She checked the key in her pocket- but how could anyone-? Had she forgotten this time?

[Junpei]

Junpei Taltos slowly wondered the halls around the academy. He had plenty of free time today and well, he had decided to take off and go exploring for once in his life. NO class, no Negi, no Loish even. He was completely alone right now, completely vulnerable to a back attack or to a suprise. That's exactly what happened when two guys came around a pillar ahead of him. These were two he had thuroughly humilated in spars earlier that week, having beaten them each in one move.

Eye growing wide Junpei turned and ran as fast as he could. The first corner he rounded he noticed a door with a flashing sign, 'soon to open'. Not caring if it was a teacher, a student, a store, or a class Junpei grabbed ontot the handle adn turned, a soft creak and a slma latter Junpei was laying flat against the door, right hand on the knob, left hand on the wall. Taking several deep breathes Jupei let his eyes open andto his suprise he saw a woman.

"Umm.. sorry btu you could maybe NOT scream. I have a couple guys who really don't like me chasing me an-"

Junpei's voice cut and his eyes got serious as he heard foosteps and then nothing. He heard a laugh and then more footsteps.

".. and those guys that just past by here were going to kill me. Ummm please don't kill me..."

Raising her eyebrow, Talbot shook her head- her? Scream? Why? Because this obviously terrified boy had run into her soon to open shop? Or because there were sounds of others close behind? Nonsense!

Talbot rested her hand on her temple- she predicted a terrible time with this coward or an interesting one. She never did have clear visions but mention of that is for a later time. Offering the boy a slight smile she answered cooly, "You're more than welcome to hide in here. Though it is best to face those who intend to harm you."

[Junpei]

"Hehe that's the thing. If I face them again they'll only get more pissed off. I would rather have to not fight than fight at all."

Pressing off the wall Junpei stood and listened out the door for another moment, hoping the guys wouldn't come back this way. Of course they were probably NOT the cream of the crop.

"I beat them in a spar earlier this week, ever since then they have been out to fight me again. Quite frankly I don't want to fight them again."

Junpei slipped his hands into his pockets and looked around the room, raising an eyebrow at all teh bags and candies.

"Isn't this.. illegal."

[Talbot Linsorim]

"You realize it would hurt them a deal more if you simply went a fought them?" Talbot sighed heavily- cowardice and ego were never a good blend in her mind. It was like mixing chocolate milk and ketchup- a guarenteed bellyache.

Watching him go from egotictic and cowardly to questioning was a slight relief but again Talbot raised an eyebrow, "I do not believe a student store selling alchemaic made candy is illegal- the headmaster certainly didn't seem to think so."

She arranged a few more bags of candy, currently standing infront of the status effecting sleep candy- the hot pink color should have been enough of a warning in themselves, "So is it normal for you to not introduce yourself first or is this a habit ingrained with your lethargy?"

[Junpei]

" I... Oh haha, sorry. My name is Junpei Taltos, summoner."


Junepi looked around the room once more adn took in the whoel scene. He had no idea students were allowed to sell things, else Junpei would have already taken advantage of that small fact, he woudl have to have a talk with ONira later.

"I'm terribly sorry if my actions come off as cowardice, but I really do not beleive that fighting will solve everything. Besides, it would be more of a pain in my side to have them continually chasing me down."

Junpei looked around and noted exactly how much stuff was here. This was an incredible amount of candy and the production time must have taken days, maybe even weeks.

"Very impressive business, this must have taken a long time to make..."

So he did have manners! Talbot offered a smile, "Talbot Linsorim, battle mage."

It hadn't taken more than sharing the candy with the headmaster than to achieve the okay- but she wouldn't say a damned thing about it. Trial and error should be done by everyone on their own accord.

And a flatterer too!

She laughed softly, the sound of wind chimes, "Hardly- this bath took me two days. I have several more cooking as we speak."

She cooked them in her room- currently a sign was posted outside her door: 'WARNING: Sleeping Potion Brewing. Do not breath deeply as you pass within three feet of the turquoise door. Thank you, T.L.'

[Junpei]

Junpei smiled softly and noted the door, makign sure to keep well away from it he slowly moved fartehr into the room, closer towards his 'host', one might say.

"It really is incredible though... magically imbuened candy.... must be delicious. I know I could never do anything like this, you see I use black magic so I would probably end up making explosive candy before i made tasty candy."

Laughing softly to himself, his voice charming as ever, Junpei closed his eyes and took in a small sniff, the room smelled just liek fresh candy. Junpei could remember the time his mom had made caramel bites and he had been able to smell them all the way in the basement. That was something that coaxed him out and another fond memory. An unconcious tear rolled form his eye and dried up as it his the cloth about his neck. Junpei never even realised it had fallen. Opening his eyes he smiled.

"It smells wonderful in here.

[Ziare]

Ziare walked through the halls on a mission. Unlike most off days she was not spending this one with anyone except her sister. She knew Tal was opening her knew candy store and had promissed her she would help set it up. Tal and Ziare hadn't really had a chance to talk lately and Ziare had some wonderful news to share. She was only too excited to spend the day with her best friend and big sister.

She made her way down the hallway and saw the cute sign and she smiled. She took the key out of her blue jeans pocket. Tal had given her a copy for emergencies or if Tal needed help in the store in case she was sick or if something came up and Ziare needed to work a day. She slid the key into the lock and turned it. Odd...it was unlocked. Ziare summoned Sheeta since Armenius wasn't about to fit through the door but Kalladra sat on her shoulder and the phoenix could change in size. Something else she wanted to tell Tal about. Sheeta stood next to Ziare the dark version of Ziare black hair black dress same eyes and skin. Except Sheeta had black wings and carried a silver staff.

Ziare told Sheeta to be on guard and the angel too the lead as Ziare stepped into the candy store.

"Tal? Tal, it's me your sister. Are you all right the door was unlocked." she asked calling and noticed Tal and a young man she had never met standing in the room. Sheeta immediatly went on the defensive protecting Tal and Ziare. The summons feet on the floor but her staff out and ready to use.

Ziare took in the scene. She knew Tal pretty well and had never seen this guy before. She was worried he was bothering her but Ziare was not one to make rash decisions so she had Sheeta stay but still defensive to see what Tal would say.

"Thank you I suppose- I guessed since some students already borrowed and bought them off me a store would be more successful. I-" she stopped and smirked. She had noticed her little sister and had heard her announcement but had been responding to Junpei. She was in too a mood today to let a small mishap happen- especially when the strength charmed tables were still bending under the weight of one candy stack or another.

Holding up a hand she smiled, "Call down the defences, he's simply hiding from opponents."

Talbot moved away from her arranging and hugged Ziare for a moment before ushering the summon out the door and closing it. It wasn't rudely done, only simply done quickly. The smell of the candy spreading from this room was the last thing she wanted to deal with. People crowding the door- or worse breaking in a taking what they wanted. Mind you there was a anti-theft curse on every bag, so it wouldn't be hard to find the theif or thieves. She sighed and looked at them both, not much more to do than smile and let them take care of themselves.

[Junpei]

Junpei took now as his chance. With all the commotion and the young ladies being related, it was time to get out of here and take his own route through life.

"Thank you kindly for the hospitality. Sadly I must take my leave, thank you once again."

Quickly uttering three words Junpei was gone with a shimmer, his teleporter spell. Appearing down the hall behind a pillar Junpei let out his breath and smiled. Though at had certainly been one for the record books. Two wemon in one room and he hadn't freaked, it was amazing. Although Junpei had felt a soothing sensation once the other woman entered, she was a light mage. Huffing at his bad luck Junpei walked of down the hallway towards god know's where. Mentally marking the door and it's contents Junpei decided to come back here one day, maybe he would buy something, maybe.

[Ziare]

Ziare watched as Tal pushed her summon out the door and couldn't help but laugh as soon as the door was shut again Ziare dismissed Sheeta but Tal was so cute she couldn't help but smile. She turned to the visitor she hadn' met before and with a few words he teleported out.

Ziare looked at Tal her eyebrow cocked for a moment as if to say
'why did he leave'. Ziare shrugged her shoulders and looked at her sister before giving her a hug.

"We need to get together and soon, I have so much to tell you and I want to hear everything you have to tell me. I've heard rumors of a certain relationship and I must know!" Ziare practically bounced at the excitement of seeing her best friend and little sister. "But first do you need any help that's why I came to help you out today."

Talbot nodded, grabbing a previously made list and showing her little sister, the loss of Junpei not too heavy on her mind. At least he was out and about rather than hiding. The list gave specific details down to the last letter on the making og a sign- desciding a name fo rthe shop, setting fair prices or trades and of course, the making of a logo.
