[Junpei]

Junpei could only swallow as her hand rested on her cheek and his hands had to flex to keep from reaching up and pulling her into a deep kiss. As much as his mind and body said to do that he had to stop himself and say no, he didn't want to make her feel awkward. Controllign hsi hand she moved it up to catch hers on his cheek and lace her fingers with his. He was amazed how how smooth her skin was, and now wondered if was like this all over her body. Her touch had his cravin gmore and he pulled her hand close, kissing the back of it before moving both of their hands down and away.

" Have we really only just met? I feel like I should have known you forever..."

Junpei closed his eyes and sighed softly, a sigh of content as much as anything. Right now, right at this moment... everything was perfect.

[Phae]

Phae gasped as she heard his final words after he kissed her hand softly. It was so wonderful being here with him she felt so safe and so cared for. Was this what it was like with love at first sight or was this even better? Was it love? She had no idea all she knew was that she didn't want to leave Junpei knowing that when she did she would instantly feel alone and bereft.

"I feel like I have known you forever..." she whispered looking into those gray pools. She blinked and smiled up at him a smile that told him some of the feelings that were running through her.

"Though, I really don't know anything about you. But, Junpei I would like to know everything. What about your family and friends?" she asked not breaking her gaze.

[Junpei]

Junpei blinked a couple of times at the question. Family and friends... there was something that was new to him for the most part.

"Let's see..... on the family end of things it's me, my little brother, and my grandfather. My parents died in an auto accident a few years ago, adn don;t worry about saying sorry, there's nothing yo coudl have done, but you're doing perfect right now."

Junpei gave her a soft smile and then went on, taking in a sharp breath so he could talk comfortable for a long time, if need be.

"Friends... there's Onira, who helped make this room. Xeryth who is a psychic, more telpath than anything. From what Negi tells me he's a real good fighter as well. There's Jyo and Ziare, who I just recently learned are seeing each other. Ziare, whom I have known just a few days, is already like a sister to me. That's about it im afraid. As I said before, im pretty new as well."

Smiling a bit more Junpei felt Loish getting near, he guessed now was as good a time as any to introduce the small lizard. With a seconds more time the almmost 2 foto long 1 foot high lizard landed on the windowsill. Junpei looked over at Loish and smiled.

"And this little guy, is my familiar, Loish."

Loish proceeded to puff out his chesta dn make himsefl look bigger than he was, adn Junpei turned himself so he was siting crosslegged on the bed, inches from the edge. Loish took the sign and crawled over to Junpei, then sat down in his lap. Beginning to scratch the small companion Junpei nodded to the bed, meaning she could sit up here as well, not like Junpei would object if she did anyways.

"And what of you Phae..."

Phae sat and listened to him talk briefly of his family and friends.
She was glad that others saw in him what she saw and even happier he didn't mention having a girlfriend. She was about to say so when a giant lizard litteraly flew into the window. But she took her cues from Junpei and soon it was explained. She smiled. She moved to sit next to him again after removing her shoes sitting much closer than before she stretched her legs out in front of her her right leg bent up slightly.

"What is he? Can I ask I've never seen anything like that before." she said and held out her hand so he could sniff it and maybe let her touch him if he was willing to let her.

"My family? Well my father is a cardiologist and my mother is a nurse. They met at work and fell in love. Truth is I've always wanted to find someone that would love me like they love each other." she looked over at Junpei and blushed tremendously before looking back to the familiar. "I have a twin named Phoebe she has no magical talent but can surpass me in sword play. But..."

She looked at the bed for a moment remembering the note her sister left her the one she carried in her wallet all the time.

"She ranaway before I came here. She felt she didn't have a place she fit and I was leaving her so she went to find herself. I just hope that she is safe and finding what she is searching for." Phae said looking back up to Junpei's handsome face. "She's a lot different than me. She's quiet."

Phae giggled again with the same head cock has in the hall earlier.

"I'm so happy that I met you in the hall. Thank you for the best day of my life." she whispered the last part of the sentence. Truth was she had never had a day like this before it was amazing. She looked up into his eyes. She shifted on the bed so she faced him a little more and lay her head on his shoulder but could still see his face.

Junpei was happy that Loish was accepting of the girl, cause if not Loish would be sleeping in the rafters of the main hall long before he would win over Phae. AT the mention of her parent's love Junpei shared the same huge blush, but it died quickly when he realised it would never come to that, most likely. Sooo after she got quiet adn Junpei could only pet Loish and wait for her, talking about stuff like that... Junpei knew it could be rough. As her head fell on his shoulder he caught her wisper and leaned his head down, lightly kissing her forehead.

"It's been amazing for me as well, absolutely the best. I could have never imagined aking up this morning that I would get this gift that you brought..."

Junpei smiled and reached a hadn up from Loish to wrap arund her shoulders, pulling her in softly so she was putting more of her wieght on him. Junpei felt a blush fall over his nose so he decided maybe now he would answer her questions about Loish.

"Loish is a Jhereg, kinda like a smaller, smarter dragon with a poisonous bite. He's about 7 years old and he can speak to me telepathically, although he tends to be a bit of a smart-ass when he does so."

Junpei laughed a bit at the end and gave Loish a good pat before scooping him up in one hadn and placing him on the window sill. This of course meant mreo room for Junpei and Phea to talk, if that's all it came to.

[Phae]

The feel of his lips on her forehead made her smile. His soft lips seemed to send shivers and chills down and through her body. But they weren't the bad kind they were the ones that told a person something amazing was happening.

"I'm glad you feel the same way about our day." she said happily but in a relaxed tone.

She felt Junpei take his arm and putting it around her shoulder pull her in closer and she let him. She lay her body more against him and he seemed content with that and began answering questions about Loish and she listened intently as she was really interested in the lizard. And knowing he was a familiar she knew that it was important to get to know them as well. She sighed feeling extremely comfortable and at ease here with Junpei.

She was a little surprised when he took the lizard out of his lap placing him back on the window sil but she couldn't say she wasn't happy that she had him to herself again. Though she didn't mind sharing not in the least.

"I wish I had a familiar I'm just a boring old sword mage." she said laughing at her joke. She knew that she personally had never heard of a sword mage before but it was going to be great studying here especially with Junpei with her.

"So you are from America but your name is not American where is it from Junpei and how did you learn your magic?" she asked looking up at him her head cradled in the hollow of his shoulder. She smiled up at him her fingers reaching up to brush his chiseled jawline.

Junpei laughed a bit at her explanation of her own magic, so that's what that sword was for. He had to admit that the way she carried it he figured it held some purpose in her magic, but now that he knew he smirked a bit.

"Familiars are only animals you bond with, you don;t have to be any certain TYPE of mage to get one. Just being a mage makes you a candidate for one."

Junpei felt a soft finger run across his chin and sighed softly to himself, his natinoality.

"The name is japanese, my mother and father were both born in the states as well. My Grandfather was the one who was originally from Japan in my family, on my Mom' side at least. He was also the one that first showed me how to use magic and perform summonings."

Junpei Turned to her and smiled, resting his other hand on hers he let his eyes soften a bit. This was the perfect way to spend the day, any day would be better if he could do this for only a half hour, less even. Even a minute with this girl was something loved now.

"And what of you, where do you call home and how did you learn magic."

[Phae]

Phae had never enjoyed a day spent with anyone in her life as much as the time she was spending with Junpei. It was as if they were two pieces of a whole that fit together perfectly. How lucky was that?! Phae looked up into those amazing grey pools and smiled at him.

"Me?" she said pointing to herself and smiling. "Well, now I"m from Berlin, Germany. Though my name is Greek it means Bright." she shrugged and laughed a full laugh.

"Go figure! Guess my parents named me well." she giggled and did the cute head cock nose scrunch thing again. She nuzzled in closer and thought about her magic.

"Well truth is the rest of my immediate family is nonmagical." she said with a smile. "I really didn't know I had any powers until my uncle came to live with us when I was ten and saw them. He's a mage you see. So he taught me to channel but funny thing is I could only use it when I had my sword with me so we focused my magic through my blade and TA DA! Sword mage."

She broke into a fit of giggles. It didn't last long but something in this man was bringing the best out of her and he didn't seem to be annoyed or even put off my her excited personality. Suddenly serious a thought crossing her mind she looked up at him meeting his eyes once more.

"So...got a girlfriend?" she shot out happily with a smile but deep down she was terrified he would say yes and she would leave then. "Don't figure she'd enjoy me taking over her position." she said with another cute giggle.

But it was a nervous smile and a nervous giggle she really wanted to know and now that she had asked she was going to be in a personal h*ll until he answered. Stupid! Stupid...why did I ask that...of course he's taken look how nice he is what girl wouldn't want to date him.

So she was German, interestig that she would be German, as a matter of fact it amazed him how if they hadn't come here, they would probably have never met. There's something that breifly scared him to death, if he hadn't met her... he'd probably have spent several more years alone. Breaking into a description of her magic Junpei smile dnad nodded acouple of times, now realised exactly how special her form of magic was. Sure there may be others around like her, but none that were like HER. Her upbeat lifestyle and never ending cheer seemed to be just what someone like Junpei needed. At her question he chuckled a bti and readjusted a bit, pulling her all the way into his lap he smiled softly at her and then shook his head.

"Nope, but I hope I do now..."

Junpei kept the smile but in his mind he was trying to figure to what the hell he wuld do if she said no. iF she said yes he was already planning on wether or not to jump up and thank whatever god was watching, or to just sit there and be stunned, neither seemed good besides the third option though and now Junpei was trying to figure out if even that would be good. IF she said no though.... Junpei still had no idea what he would do so he just pushed that thought to the back of his head. Surely she asked because she hoped he was available, hell for the past half hour Junpei had been asking himself if she had someone back home, who wouldn't date the woman before him?

[Phae]

Oh my goodness! Did he just ask what I think he asked?? What do I do?? Of course I say yes...but is that too forward...I have to answer him....it's yes....YES! Thoughts ran rampant through her mind after he pulled her into his lap. She felt instantly comfortable there and she snuggled up against him. She heard those words...the ones that stopped her heart in mid beat...the ones that made her mind go nuts analyzing.

She turned to look up at him her back still pressed against his chest but she lifted up just enough to see his face.

"Y-you mean me?" she asked swallowing the lump in her throat. She couldn't actually believe he meant her. "I-I don't annoy you?" she asked for the first time she spoke quietly and as though she was unsure of herself.

[Junpei]

"Of course not, you're a brath of fresh air Phae. I woudl love it if you would consider me your boyfriend..."

Junpei smiled down at her adn his grey eyes had already said it all, he wanted her there with him. She had somehow foun da way to break down the walls he had formed long ago to block out this sort of thing. Once his parents had left he had even been colder to Negi, protecting him more than acting like a brother. Yet this person had been able to just walk right into his heart. Junpei let his hands wrap around her waist and stomach and keep her in place, only reinforcing the fact that he wanted her to say yes.

Please say yes... just say yes... it would-

Boss you're losing it...

Loish be quiet and stay out of my head for the next hour or so.

Phae bit her lip as he spoke she smiled and blushed brightly. She had met many people in her life, as hyperactive as she was it wasn't hard to believe. But none had touched her like this. None had been able to get into her heart, deep down in the depths where Junpei had gone in a matter of an hour or less. So deep where she didn't know she was missing the biggest part of her life. His arms wrapped around her waist and she sighed laying her head down on his shoulder and closing her eyes enjoying the time with him.

"Yes! YES! Definatly. You have no idea how much I wanted to hear you say that." she giggled and snuggled up against him as much as she could laying her hands on top of his which were on her stomach. She sighed out loud.

[Junpei]

Junpei felt her snuggle up to him and place her hands over his, he would be blushing if she hadn't already worked that out of him. He was sure his feet were bloodless from the amount of blood he had in his face earlier. At her answer Junpei hugged her against him lightly before loosening up a bit as he finished the ug. His heart skipped a beat and he was sure she could feel it, seeing as she was right over it. Leaning down Junpei rested his cheek on her shoulder and softly nuzzled her neck.

"You wouldn't beleive how much I wanted to hear that...."

Junpei stayed where he was, eyes closed as he just enjoyed the feeling of having her near. Leaning back up after a few seconds Junpei took in a deep breath and sighed happily.

"We could go down to the city tonight, if you want.. and get dinner..."

Junpei had heard of a couple places that he thought she would like, one bing a nice italian restraunt and the other a japanese sushi bar, although he wondered what her opinion on sushi would be. Junpei loved it, he always had and always would. He didn't know why but he suddenly wanted her to like ti as well.

[Phae]

Lord, if she could dance right now she would have. She would have jumped up and down and probably laughed her head off. Where was she? Wrapped gently in Junpei's comforting arms...sitting on his lap...aka...cloud nine.

"I would love to go to dinner with you." she said happily. Her personality returning and recovering from the commitment they had just made. "Where should we go?"

She shifted a little so she could look up into his eyes again. She loved those eyes so deep and breathtaking. She took one of her hands away from his and cupped his cheek gently as she looked into those pools of beauty.

"I'll have to go change into something nicer. Our first date I want to make a good first impression." she said giggleing again.

[Junpei]

"Mmmm that goes for both of us, I'll have to make sure to call ahead to. I hope you like sushi."

Junpei gave a slight grin and leaned down, softly kissing her and smiling softly as he pulled away. Letting hsi grip fall slightly and reached over and closed the window, lowering the light in the room signifigantly. As much as the air felt nice, he wanted to make sure loish didn't show back up and try to annoy him to death mentally.

"I know you've already made my first impression forever memorable. I just hope I keep on getting these great impressions."

Junpei smiled again and leaned back against the wall, next to the window. He knew soon that he was going to have to change, because on top of all that he needed to take a shower and clean up a bit.

"How about we make dinner at 7, i'll have plenty of time to get ready then."

Junpei once again leaned over a placed a kiss on his girlfreinds lips, god how he loved thinking about that.
