A Chat (Phae)

[Phae]

Phae began to jog behind him. She stopped when he fell and shook her head jogging the rest of the way.

"Come on." she said smiling at him brightly. "Where shall we go that has the least amount of accident possibilities?"

She held out her hand to him yet again. It was truly proving to be an interesting meeting. The poor boy couldn't stand long muchless stay standing or complete anything without something truly comical happening to him. She had to admit she felt a bit bad for him.

"Truth is I haven't really seen much of the campus. So I'm going to have to leave it to you to help me out on that."

[Onira]

Onira stood proudly, wearing a very chivalrous expression. It looked quite comical.

"I will then take it upon myself to show you the academy!"

If it were an anime, there'd probably be a glint in Onira's teeth, paired with a pose with the wind blowing through his hair. However, it wasn't so therefore all Onira got was awkward silence and drying bird poo. He sighed.

"Maybe we'll just got this way."

Onira slowly started walking down the hall, knowing where atleast some of the things were. The basics. His dorm room. Junpei's dorm room. Mr.Halsephea's class. A few other classrooms as well. The basics that pretty much everyone knew. Well, except for one so it seemed. Onira spun around suddenly.

"What would you like to go see?"

[Phae]

Phae looked over at him and furrowed her forehead in thought she looked over at him.

"Well, I have seen my dorm, the cafeteria, one classroom, and the courtyard. So I don't think there is much I have seen so feel free to lead me on the grand tour." she said smiling over at him.

Truth was she hadn't been out in the campus much at all. She spent most of her time with Junpei though most didn't know how close the two had become in such a short time. Most that saw them together thought they were only dating but there was much much more about it than that.

[Onira]

Onira listened to Phae's short list. He nodded in understanding. Noted, there wasn't much to understand, but it was really just what Onira did. The young man inflated his cheeks with air. Something his master did when either confused or thinking, and something he sometimes found himself doing too.

"Your dorm room? You know, I could take a look at it for you after I have a shower. I already personalized my friend Junpei's room, so i could take a look at yours too."

Onira turned around again, walking to the elevator. Although it didn't look like it, he was quite enjoying himself. he liked being around people. Helping out where he could. That's what his master did. Another trait past from master to apprentice.

The blond-haired male stood silently for a second at the door, flicking the button to call the elevator. He waited for about ten seconds before the doors finally opened, welcoming Onira in with a gentle *ding*. Onira placed his foot in the way fo the door and turned to Phae, now a look of joy on his face.

"Oooh, can I personalize your room? Please, please, please?"

[Phae]

She looked at the boy next to her in surprise. He knew Junpei? She was trying to think..yes she did recall that Jun had mentioned him at some point him being a friend and helping him work on the ceiling the one she loved so much to stare up at during the night. It was obvious the boy had no idea that she and Jun were together and she thought back to how much time she and Jun had spent together and they really hadn't seen any of his friends.

"You are the one that helped create Jupei's ceiling. It's amazing I absolutely love it! How fantastic." she said as she stepped into the elevator waiting for Onira. "As for decorating my dorm room, I would really...except...well...you have technically already decorated it."

She had said it. Would he get it. Would he catch the drift? She leaned against the wall putting her hand on her sword so it wouldn't scrape against the wall. She looked to Onira to see if he would get it and what he might think about that.

[Onira]

Onira looked at Phae with a puzzled look. His cheeks were now puffy again. Trying to figure out what she meant. Junpei's room was currently the only one he had remembered doing. He hadn't started his project up yet. Maybe he was directed to Phae before by Junpei. Maybe they just didn't remember each other. It was possible. Onira wasn't known for his incredibly good memory. It probably average at best.

"Are you sure? I don't think I've done your place yet. But I'm glad you like the ceiling."

Onira looked gingerly at the control pannel. He was unsure which level was Phae's. He figured if he had been to her dorm before, then he should atleast remember the floor it was on.

Is it three? No, it might only be two. Maybe five. But really, who want's to live on level five?

Onira stood there staring at the control panel for almost a full minute before looking back to Phae.

"What's your floor? I don't remember doing your place, so I figured I might as well take a look. Might jog the memory."

[Phae]

She bit her lip and told him her floor. He didn't understand but he would soon. She would take him directly to Junpei's dorm and then he would fully understand. Several feminine touches had been added recently due to her moving in. Picture frames of her and her family. A pink stuffed puppy now resided on the bed and her clothes hung in the closet.

"Allright, take me to room 155." she said with a smile. "That's my dorm room."

She leaned against the walls of the elevator waiting for it to rise and take them. She wondered what his reaction would be. Her engagement ring on her left hand glimmered slightly in the soft light of the elevator. She looked down at it and smiled.

[Onira]

Onira inflated his cheeks for yet a third time, soon deflating them to speak. The elevator still had not yet moved.

"Room 115, but that's Jun..."

Onira's eyes widened, staring at Phae with a look of both confusion and unrest. It was slowly coming together.

"You and Junpei..."

Onira gasped when he saw the ring. He launched his face right for it, almost touching it with his nose. He couldn't believe it. It hadn't really been that long since he had met Junpei, and already had he met a girl. Not to mention give her an engagement ring.

"Holy crap!"

Onira's head sky rocketed into the top of the elevator. Almsot as soon as it did, Onira fell back down onto his face. But he didn't care. He stood back up swiftly.

"I didn't know Junpei had a girlfriend..."

[Phae]

She giggled at his reaction and blushed. He was a sweet boy and his reaction was something along the lines that she had expected.

"Yes, Junpei does have a girlfriend but more than that. We're engaged. You are the first person to know." she told him and blushed. "We met on my first day and well we just kinda fell in love and I haven't left his side since. He means the world to me."

She looked up at him her face red. She was thinking about Jun her only love and the man that stood by her no matter what. He had been there when her power awoke and had been there when she needed him most. As she had for him. But it was strange actually telling these things to another boy. She didn't know what he would think about it truthfully.

[Onira]

That's when Onira remembered what he had just stuck his nose into. The ring. This brought mixed emotions for Onira. On the one hand, he was happy Junpei had met someone who had lifted his spirits. However, on the other was the fact he never told him.

"So are you saying you and junpei will be..."

Onira gulped before saying the last word. He knew marriage as a wonderful, beautiful thing. However, he could never do it. He couldn't be tied down by that kind of thing.

"married?"

The young man let the word out slowly. He almost grimmaced at it. The idea of less freedom definitely didn't appeal to him. But, he held it in. Seeing how red Phae was, Onira placed his palm against the side-railing of the elevator, simultaneously flicking the button for the first level. The elevator moved up (or down) as a light shown from the chunk of railing. Onira clenched his hand together to catch the item he had made. He opened his hand and showed the item to Phae. There was a silver, heart-shaped pendant. Onira flicked the side of it with his thumb, and inside showed crafted words, written as if by a master writer.

Love is Eternal

Onira closed it up and handed it to Phae.

"Consider it a wedding gift."

[Phae]

His reaction only made Phae blush even more. He was cute and his reactions were genuine.

"Yes, we are going to get married. Not soon, after we graduate from here in a few years. But yes." she said blushing again.

She watched as he pressed the button and then he created something. Something truly beautiful. He gave it to her. A heart pendant. In lovely script were written beautiful words. Tears welled up in her eyes. She moved over quickly and gave him a tight hug.

"Thank you." she whispered not caring if any still wet bird droppings got on her she could change easily when she got to her room and she didn't care. The gift was sweet and heart felt and she had never been given a gift like that before. She broke the hug and pulled back.

She opened the clasp of the necklace and placed it around her neck quickly letting it fall at her throat.

"I love it, such a wonderful gift. Thank you."

[Onira]

Onira was surprised by the sudden hug. Sure he had wanted to make something good for Phae, but he wasn't expecting a hug. He stood stiff for a moment, relaxing when Phae released him and backed off. He looked at her a moment, soon breaking into a toothy grin, looking obviously embaressed.

"Heheh... it was my pleasure."

Onira was quite for a moment, hearing another ding as he and Phae reached the first floor. The elevator doors opened and Onira walked out, walking quietly down the hall towards Junpei's room. He noticed the door was locked, and although knew he could easily unlock it with alchemy, he decided to just let the good old fashioned key get it done.

"Would you mind Phae?"

Onira was starting to become excited at seeing the new room. Well, nto new per se, but more... modified. See what little things Phae had done to his masterpiece. Of course, he was a little nervous. Hoping not to see big pink frilly things everywhere. However, he wasn't under the impression that was what Phae was about.

[Phae]

Phae saw that she had embarrassed him with the hug but truthfully that was who she was a happy, healthy, huggy girl. The elevator opened and she stepped out walking to Jun's room. She hadn't changed much at all. Only subtle things. Picture frames of her and her family, her clothes, the pink puppy on the bed, her books, sword rack for her blade on the wall, and a red and white quilt folded on the foot of the bed. But overall there wasn't much of a change in the least.

She took the key out of her pocket and unlocked the door for them. But before she opened it she looked into Onira's eyes.

"Sorry about the hug. I'm just that way..a happy person that tends to get on others nerves. I hope you didn't mind, but if you did I'm sorry." she said looking worried.

She opened the door and stepped in holding it open for Onira.

"Come on in."

[Onira]

Onira grinned at Phae. She seemed a little nervous with his reaction. Onira didn't want to make people feel uncomfortable. Especially not one of his friends. He just, sometimes did. However, he had a plan. As Phae walked in the door, Onira would give her a hug. Not as tight as the one she had given him, but still a hug.

"There."

Onira let Phae go and stepped back, a smile on his face.

"Now we're even."

Onira stepped into the room, taking a quick look around. No too big of changes. However, the pink puppy didn't really score too high. As Onira walked deeper into the room, however, he started to smell something. Something... deep, and sort of old.

"Is that... sweat? What are you two..."

Onira sort of trailed off on his own, coming up with his own conclusion.

"You know what? Never mind."

Onira walked to what he saw was a bathroom. He opened the door and looked to Phae.

"Would it be alright if I had a quick shower here? Just need to get some of the poo off myself."

[Phae]

The hug was unexpected yet pleasant. She smiled when he pulled away and then watched as he entered the room taking inventory. She loved the room and truly hadn't changed much but the puppy was a gift from her sister and it meant a lot to her. Phae's hand went up and began playing with her pendant before she blushed deeply at his comment. Her face a bright deep red as she turned away from him.

"Yes, please feel free to use the shower." she whispered.

She moved hanging her sword up on it's rack and then sat down on the bed relaxing picking up her book so that he could shower and she would have something to do. She honestly didn't smell a thing the window was usually open and so the room got aired out regularly but maybe it was just she was used to the room and didn't notice.
