Onira walked through the halls slowly, not really choosing a place to go. He couldn't figure out his purpose yet. What he was supposed to do at the school. He was supposed to learn at the school. That much was for sure. However, he didn't know what he was supposed to learn. Sure he was to figure out how his powers worked and how to control them, but just after half a week of flipping through his books he had gotten down pretty much everything he needed to know. His powers had regained themselves almost completely, and the only thing he was having some small amount of trouble understanding was human alchemy. It was a little annoying. He had to know all the chemicals and substances in the body, and be able to control them to regenerate. Quite an annoying task. But even so, he wasn't having a ton of trouble with it. It was just a little... boring.
The footsteps of black dress-shoes continued as the young man moved on with hie purposeless journey. He had a small earpiece in it's respectable place. A small white cord came down from it and found itself in the top of a thin white box. It looked like an Ipod, but Onira made it not quite as good, and it only knew one song. One of the young man's favourites.
Earpiece: "Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Stayin alive! Stayin alive!"
Onira felt a sudden urge to do his next movement. Something he had seen another student doing a day ago. he instantly turned around and applied pressure to the ball of his foot, slifing backwards with each new foot. The moonwalk as it was apparently called. It was... fun. If Onira could even experience the sensation anymore.
He turned back around, his chest smacking something and him landing on his butt. It was a person. He spoke with a grin.
"Sorry."

The shy and quiet girl walked down the halls of the academy several books in her arms. She was on her was back from the library with more books on her telekenetic powers and some reading materials to learn a bit more about Xeryth's power. She didn't want to look like an idiot in front of the boy she had taken a liking to so she was looking into everything she could.
She took a right down a hallway and smacked dab into someone. He had been moving backwards oddly enough and she fell back her skirt splaying out around her as she landed with a slight sound. Her books once in her arms were now on the floor. She looked over at the boy who had knocked her down his violet eyes were intriguing but all else seemed..ordinary.
"I'm sorry, I really was not watching where I was going." she said in her very light quiet voice. She tucked her red hair behind her ears as it swished gently just on the tops of her shoulders. She stood up and began to pick up her books. Though her own method was unusual.
The books floated off the floor and into her outstretched arms as they stacked themselves. Her arms loaded with her books once more she extended a hand to the boy still on the floor.
"Here allow me to help you up." she offered her gentle voice was kind and full of innocence.

"Don't worry about it miss."
Onira found himself to his knees and slowly stood back up, looking now at the girl with curious eyes. She was familiar. Like the girl from before. The one that had punched him. Infact, she looked exactly the same. Her face was the same, and her body seemed to be the same shape. But her eyes. They seemed different. They were the same color as the other girl's, but instead of the fire the other one possessed, hers were dull and... distant. Then again, maybe it was just Onira. He didn't really think his judgement could be trusted anymore. He did of course jsut moonwalk in the middle of the hall. He'd have to watch out for that later.
"Excuse me miss but..."
Onira held his hand out to shake the other girl's. It seemed this was a much better friendly greeting than a kiss. Something he had learned only a little while ago with Phae. Definitely a working method. A fist to the eye really got the point across.
"Sorry, I don't think that's right. I think... I'm supposed to introduce my self first. Okay. My name's Riekana Onira. May I ask what your name is miss?"

Phoebe watched as the boy in front of her got up and started calling her miss. She took his hand and gave it a gentle shake her hand not really clenching his at all. It was a very gentle hand shake but that was who Phoebe was. She was a very gentle and soft girl. She was the opposite as Phae in every way except looks.
But upon hearing his name her eyes widened a little. Her sister had told her about the boy that had killed himself in front of her. How upon putting up a memorial for him she found this youth and had punched him. Phoebe thought his eye looked healed and almost smiled.
"Pleasure." she said giving him a soft and gentle smile. "I am Phoebe Weiss."
Her voice was very quiet and very soft. Almost a whisper as she spoke.

"It is I who holds the pleasure."
Very, very corny line. But, Onira was unsure of what really crossed the threshold. He had been 'alive' for only a month, and even now he didn't really feel it. Didn't really feel 'alive'. He was living, but not alive. His heart was beating, but his soul was lifeless. It was truly a sad thing, but his shell shed no tears. It couldn't. It had no soul to tell it to be sad. Had no spirit to give the water and salt to the eyes. Had nothing. Just emptiness. And emptiness could not cry.
"I believe I've met your sister. Much more energy than you, but with quite a harder fist. Believe me though, that's not a bad thing. I swear she almost shattered my cheek. But no use complaining right? Life goes on."
Onira gave a grin. It was obvious to someone with atleast a small sense of percieving capabilities that the smile was empty. Normally it held so much life. So much energy. But, ever since that day, the day when Onira died, his soul really did go with it, along with the energy Onira seemed to bring to the table. He would have missed it, if he had a soul left to feel anything. If he had a soul left to want the energy back. But, a shell could not save a soul. A shell could not want a soul. A shell could not want anything. A shell could only contain.

Phoebe smiled and laughed gently. Her laugh was a gentle chuckle no matter what was funny unless someone caught her at a rare moment and then hers would sound a lot like Phae's.
"Yes, my sister Phaedra is rather.. loud. That is the word that best describes her. She is sweet though."
She smiled over at him. He seemed nice but he was rather distant. His eyes were cold almost lifeless.
"So, what are you doing dancing in the hallway?" she asked her eyes sparkling as she smiled sweetly.

Onira puffed his cheeks at the girl, one of his recently-discovered habits. Actually, it was probably his only recently-discovered habits. Hell, it was his only habit. Next to sleeping. That was his favourite thing to do. Well, so far. Gettin puched in the eye was a close second.
Onira's cheeks deflated to let him speak.
"Well, no reason actually. I was just enjoying my song and making my way to..."
Onira just remembered he had no place to be. He wasn't walking for any purpose, especially not to go somewhere. But, he didn't want to look completely stupid. So, he searched his brain for something. Some sort of excuse. Some place where he could go. Somewhere he should be. One place popped uo instantly.
"I was making my way to the roof. Would you like to join me?"

Phoebe looked at him for a moment considering his offer. He was inviting her, HER to the roof. She had to admit she hadn't been up there before and to look down on the academy from there promised to be a lovely view. She had heard that from several students she just hadn't had time to go up there.
"I accept. Thank you for the offer." she said with a gentle smile. She stepped forward with a gentle nod.
"Will you lead the way?" she asked shyly.

There was one thing that didn't change about Onira, no matter what happened to him. That was his blunt and overall pushy attitude. When he was told he could go, he went. This time with Phoebe in hand.
Onira bolted for the elevator, keeping Pheobe's wrist in his hand. he didn't have her too tightly, but enough to tell her it was time to go. Luckily for her, they didn't go for too long. Onira instantly let go of Phoebe and spun to his left, sliding on his shoes and punching the 'up' button on the elevator. He did it in such a fashion that it looked like a dance step. Something he seemed to be getting very adept at. As said, it wasn't embaressing for him. It was just fun.
"Sorry miss. Was I too pushy?"
Onira didn't let the girl answer, for as soon as he spoke the question, the elevator door opened and Onira entered, making sure to keep his thumb on the 'open door' button. No reason to make Phoebe run into the door.
Once the girl was in, Onira would hit the 'roof' button and wait for the elevator to finish it's task.

Phoebe was shocked by the sudden grab of her wrist nearly dislodging all the books in her arms as she was practically dragged down the hallway and thrust in the elevator. She rubbed her wrist with the other hand as she looked up at Onira. He hadn't grasped her hard or anything to it was so surprising.
"Umm... no it's okay just.. not used to such actions is all." she said softly with a smile.
She watched his smooth move to press the button and she smiled. She was going up to the roof with him her books still filled with heavy books but she figured if worse came to worst she would be able to just float them along side her.
"Do you go up to the roof often?" she asked her first real question of the boy next to her.

Onira puffed his cheeks again. The first part of his answer to Phoebe. She was a little strange. Not necessarily one to dislike, just a little odd. Shy. Onira felt like he knew someone like Phoebe. Someone shy, but not quite as good with words. He'd have to check that later.
"Well, I've only been here for I think two days. Maybe three. I forget. But no. I haven't really seen much of the school. However, for some reason, the roof feels like somewhere I should be. Sort of hard to explain I know, but it just feels right."
Onira gave a grin, suddenly ending it as the beep sounded. The metallic doors opened yet again to reveal the cement floor of the roof (if that makes sense). Onira ran outward, not even sure what he was doing. His body was acting on it's own, as if drawn to the place. The area on the roof that he needed to be at. It was strange. The connection was like that he felt towards Phae. Something that transcended the bounderie he had placed for himself. Something from his past.
The young man ran towards the spot, placing his last left foot down on the concrete before skidding onto his right knee, leaving no mark because of the jeans, but giving Onira a nice slide effect. His head was down and his body completely relaxed, limp even. On inspection, one would see that he was unconscious. 'Out cold' seemed the right term for it. The truth was, Onira's body hadn;t been hit by anything or knowcked over. However, his mind just took a blow to the gut. It was the place. The roof. The roof where Onira and Phae fought the young man's cold together. A key moment in his life, and guaranteed to hit his mind with something.
The body was limp, but the mind was in overdrive. Onira was in a coma. The beggining of the awakening, as Onira would later call it. It seemed the spot was much stronger than Onira had first thought it. It's presence was strong enough to cause a flash back. The time when Phae had held him. Had welcomed him to the warmth. How he wished he had that again, but now, he was stuck between neither the cold or the warmth. Now, he was in a gray area. The field...

Phoebe stepped out of the elevator and saw that Onira had slid but she thought at first it was another one of his fancy moves. Like the one in the elevator. And she smiled her shy quiet smile but then she saw something that had her drop her books. The boy didn't get up.
His purple eyes closed tight he lay on the concrete roof as if asleep but she knew no one could fall asleep that fast. She moved over quickly and felt for a pulse. It was slow like he was asleep and his eyes were moving back and forth like he was dreaming. She moved sliding underneath him she placed his head in her lap and placed a gentle soft hand on his forehead resting it there comforting him.
She knew by the looks of it he wasn't dreaming a simple dream. She was going to wait it out with him.

"I... know this place."
Onira stepped through the area hesitantly, each foot flattening the tall grass just a little. The place he was in. The gray field. It seemed... broken. Everything was in order. Sky, grass, trees, everything was there. However, not in their respectable places. Trees were every where, the sky having patches of grass in it, and vice-versa for the grass. Everything looked like it had been flattened out into a pane of glass, then smacked with a hammer, rebuilt with pieces in the wrong places. It was strange to say the least, but that wasn't all. Right in front of Onira a speeding train rain past, continuing on it's journey like it was nothing. The carts continued for about twenty seconds, disappearing off in the sunset, and revealing someone who was completely shadowed over. He stood at Onira's height, about ten or so feet away. He did nothing. When Onira moved, he simply stood there. Staring. After what felt like hours in front of the shadow, Onira walked closer to it. Even so, it did not move. Just stood there. Staring with nothing. No features, just an outline filled in with black.
Onira inched closer, but still the shadow did not move. It just waited. As if taunting Onira to do something. The young man approached again, stopping at a mere two feet away. Onira yelled.
"Why don't you move?"
Onira lunged forward, almost grabbing the shadow with his hand before it simply stepped backward. He stood up slowly, once again staring at what seemed to be the head of the creature. How odd it was. How strange. As if it's only purpose was to be the meat at the end of the line. As if it was to be the ever-moving worm. The bait for Onira. But he didn't learn. He lunged forward again, once again almost touching the shadow before it stepped backwards. However, this time, Onira was prepared. This time, he used alchemy as he landed. The tattoo lit up and as it met the ground, a spike heaved outward from the field, hitting the shadow. It made no sound, but changed to a large black crow, flying backwards and landing to get away from Onira. He stood up to look at the crow, and was surprised to see it's size. The same height as Onira once again. Scary.
He didn't approach this time. Just stared at the distant, beady eyes of the large bird. his eyes showed some sense of anger and frustration, even already a small bit of insanity. Like this game of cat and mouse was getting into his head. Making what was left his mind become even more lost. Oozing. Oozing. Like the slime that now seeped out through Onira's skull, creating a gelatinous mess around his shoulders, working it's way to his hips. He touched the goo and his arm started to feel like it was burning. Onira fell to the ground clutching his arm, staring at the now rotting flesh. His eyes were wide with fear. The pain was too much. This place was too powerful for him. Too strong for him to possibly regain himself. He looked up to the crow, just wanting to see something other than his rotting arm. But he didn't. The bird was gone. He stood up swiftly, twisting around over and over again, trying to find it. The black bird. It was the trouble. It was the cause of this pain. This unbelievable destruction of the mind. But he wouldn't get to find it. Everything disappeared. Everything faded to darkness. Gone in not even the blink of an eye. It was just shadows. Nothing more existed. Just the void of black. Just the hole existed. Until light decided to enter.
A yellow glow instantly appeared all around Onira, showing him that there were more crows around him. Hundreds of them, now regular sized, but sitting upon banks of rotten flesh. Corpses screaming their soundless scream. Eyes blank but showing an all too distant fear.
"Wh-what the hell am I doing here?!!"
The crows instantly flew off their nests of flesh and bone, surrounding Onira in a dark haze. They pecked, one after the other. The pain came in waves from everywhere. Everything beamed the hot, powerful pain. He could feel the flesh being ripped from his muscles as the crows feed, ingesting any part they could touch. The horror seemed to work it's way ever closer. The black cloud of feathers moving, finding new and fresher meat. Onira's forearms were almost completely ripped off when the crows found them. Onira's violet orbs/ he could see the pair. Squawking. As if sizing Onira up for what was to come.
"No..."
The birds squawked some more, insisting to push all fear they could into Onira before they fed.
"No..."
The birds squawked again and all of the crows went deathly silent. The two at Onira's eyes arched their backs, moving their heads as far away as they could without letting go. The preparation of what was to come next. The beaks drove themselves into the spheres of Onira's sight, blood oozing out sickeningly with a mix of crunching and hissing sounds. Onira screamed.
"NO!!!!"
The boy clenched his face, doubling over to fall to his knees. He huffed continuously, his breathing too heavy to control. The fear was too powerful. Had too much of a grip on him. He was in darkness again, but was thankful to not be in the grasp of the crows anymore. The floors looked and felt stone, but that was all he could see. He was under a spotlight that seemed to not even begin, but did end at the floor around the young man. A shadow lashed out, striking Onira in the back and shredding a strip of cloth from that area, leaving only a line of blood in the skin. Onira clenched his teeth from the sudden pain, having to cover his ears from the booming voice that came with lash.
"Who are you?"
"My name is..."
Another lash struck Onira across the back, sending his face to the floor. The voice boomed again.
"Who are you?"
"I am..."
Another black whip lashed out at him, this time striking him across the arm and sending him back up onto his knees.
"Who are you?"
"Onira!"
Yet again he was struck, this time along the side of the face, sending him to his back to look directly at the light.
"Who are you?"
"I don't know!"
Yet another whip struck him with a slash across the chest, causing him to hold his gut in pain.
"Who are you?"
"Tell me!"
Instantly all the whips lashed out and Onira closed his eyes, ready for the pain of many lashes to strike his body. But such a thing did not occur. Instead, the head of the whips embedded themselves in Onira's flesh, raising him up toward the never-beginning light. He was weak. Barely even able to keep his eyes open. Yet they widened to almost the point of explosion when Onira was suddenly hit by an incredible weight. Something upon his head. It struck him painfully, sending so many images rushing in front of his eyes. It faded to black...
Reality
Tears fell to the concrete as Onira raised his head slightly, unable to move. He couldn't move, couldn't think, could barely even speak. All he could get out was two words.
"I'm... dead."
He fell asleep.

Phoebe stared down at the boy whose head was in her lap. She had only just met him and here he was collapsed on the roof and she had no idea what she was supposed to do with him. Even with her powers she could not get him to the hospital ward seeing how she couldn't lift something that heavy physically or mentally.
She was about to go get someone to help her when his head lifted just slightly and two words came out of his mouth. Two words she didn't understand. He said he was dead yet he was still breathing and his pulse stated he was only sleeping. She bit her lower lip a nervous habit and looked down at the now sleeping boy.
She used her powers to levitate a book and she began to read while her left hand went through his hair comfortingly as she let him sleep on her lap. She began to read about how closely related hers and Xeryth's powers were and it was intriguing.

-Three Hours Later-
Onira rolled over, falling from Phoebe's lap and smacking the back of his head onto the concrete. He sighed as he did so, letting a single word escape his lips, mixing in with the sort of clunk sound of his skull versus concrete.
"Ow..."
His eyes slowly opened, his violet orbs staring at the girl now beside him. She was blurry to Onira's sleepy eyes, and all he could see was one person. A girl that registered now more than any other.
"Ph... Ph..."
Onira stopped himself. He was about to say 'Phae', but as his vision regained itself, he recognized another face. The same face, the same toned but slender figure, and the same-colored eyes and hair. However, the eyes were not as fiery or passionate, and the hair was shorter.
"Phoebe. It's good to see you."
