It was such a wonderful day, Lienn could be found sitting outside on the front steps of the Academy, a dspiral sketchpad open in her lap. On the step next to herlay a pencil box full of different types of pencils, erasers, and everything. Pencil posed in her left hand, just above the half finished sketch of...well, it didn't really have a shape yet. Cool pale eyes stared blankly in front of her, searching for some inspiration to immortalize on paper. Hmm...that tree? Drew it. How about the garden? Drew it...The blonde girl sighed, this wasn't going much of anywhere..
Looking back down at the sketch in her lap, she considered what it was that was already there. She had begun to draw about five different things and they all seemed to mesh together at a central point. Weird, yet...the girl smirked, applying a bit of shadding to a bit of tree/wall hybrid, perhaps it wasn't as bad as she thought...

(If I misspell any French word it's only because I'm outta practice XD)
Walking down the halls of the large building, having finally found her dorm room and putting her belongings inside, Excel believed that it was a perfect time to just, go out and get some air. She always liked outside much better anyhow. The long brown hair swooshed behind her as her shoes tip-tapped on the floor at a fast enough pace.
Problem. She couldn't find the front door. Well that wasn't a very good thing at all now was it? In times like thing Excel knew only one thing to do! Search. She looked from hallways to hallways and finally, she stopped a teacher and asked him. "Excusez-moi Mr. But could you tell me where the front door is?" she asked. THe teacher looked down at her and smiled, pointing right behind her. "Over there little lady."
Excel turned around her eyes setting on the doors and blushed out of embarassment. "Merci." She quickly walked away towards the doors and with a push, let the outside air squeeze through the opening door. She smiled softly to herself as it happened and when her eyes re-opened, they quickly set themselves on a girl.
She blinked twice and walked over to the girl silently, peering over her shoulder and placing her hand on her knees while she bended over. Sketching? "Excuse me." she spoke with her usual soft voice. "That picture is very nice. You are une Artiste?" It was common for Excel to 'accidently' replace some words to French words in her english phrases. She wasn't sure why she did that, but it seemed to happen automatically.
Regardless of that, Excel was intrigued by art and so, she couldn't help but want to see. But not to be rude, she decided to introduce herself at the same time. "I am Excel Esprit. I'm new to the school. What's your name?"
She walked away from behind Lienn and set herself next to her, smiling pleasantly to herself.

(ooc: don't worry about it, I'm using a translator! *takes spanish*)
Lienn looked up at the sound of another person, a girl she hadn't met before, and she seemed to be praising her artwork...in French? A smile formed slowly on the blonde girl's face, it was always great to meet someone you have something in common with.
"Oui, mais ce n'est pas beaucoup de.."
She said, waving a hand at her portrait...thing. It wasn't a portrait because it wasn't of anyone, though there seemed to be a nose precariously perched on the hydranglia (sp) bush. Hmm...surrealism...that's what it was..
"I"m Lienn, by the way.."
She added with a smile, offering her the hand not holding the pencil and covered in smudges (which incidentally would be her right one afterall).

(If you'd like I could always translate in parentheses?) Excel listened patiently a the girls words and nodded. "It's nice to meet you Lienn." As she grasped Lienn's hand, she gave it a small shake then released smiling. 'Alors elle est Francaise aussi? Je me sens un peu moin loin de chez moi maintenant, c'est un peu drole.' she thought to herself.
"I'm assuming since you attend this place you can do magic too? What are you? I am a Shaman, decendant of many many other Shamans." she looked to the side and stared at the scenery a bit. She felt quite curious. What was everyone's ability? What was so special about them? What wonderful tricks could they do? Shaman stuff, at least the stuff she had learned and knew, was rather boring now. Blah blah blah the whole family is one and stuff. But what was everyone else here? It was rather exciting.
Excel brought her right braid onto her shoulder and started to fiddle in the hair a little. It was something she would do to keep her hands busy. Either that or that little habit of hers where she bites her nails. But they were safe. She had some of that nasty tasting nailpolish on there to help her stop that. How she dreaded the accidental tastes of it. When she'd eat small snacks with her hands and her nail would accidently touch her tongue, making her grimace at the taste. Just thinking about it made her cringe.
Her head turned back towards Lienn, tilting her head curiously and observing the girl and her actions and the way she held herself. Just one of the strange things Excel would sometimes do. She loved observing, no matter how creepy some people would find it.

(ooc: yeah that would be cool, lol...saves me from running to the translator all the time.. ) Lienn grinned at the girl, she seemed really nice. And open, the way she just walked right up and began talking to her. She tucked a strand of her long pale blonde hair behind her ear, smudging a bit of lead on her cheek."Agréable pour vous rencontrer aussi.." She replied, smiling warmly. She glanced thoughtfully at her sketch before returning her attention to the girl, blinking those lucid blue eyes that were as pale as her hair."I'm telekinetic...but I sort have astral projection abilities as well.." She said, shrugging at the last part. She really hadn't had a chance to try out her astral projection much, as it isn't really something you can share with people, ezpecially if they didn't have the gift. It was like a swimmer and a non swimmer...they can't both go play in the pool, so none of them do. But it didn't bother her much, as she was sure there was someone at this school who could do it too....maybe...She wasn't sure, but it always helped to be optimistic."A shaman, that's interesting...what exactly do you do?" She asked, interested. Sure, she'd heard about it before, but she didn't know much about it in depth.

(No problem! I can tell you are using a Translator. Those things are never accurate aren't they? XDD)) 'Telekineses?' she thought smiling brightly. It must have been such an interesting gif indeed. Moving things with your mind and reading other peoples minds too! Astral Projection...Ah she knew the ability well. She seldom did it however, her having a huge fear of death. But it was still amusing. The question was soon turned to her and Excel thought for a bit. "All of my powers depend on the usage of Spirits, better known as "Ghosts". Whith them I can heal, curse, ask for guidance and even with the manipulation of my ouwn soul, astral project myself" at the last part Excel gave a small wink and giggled. "Also, different things like stones and such can tell me answers and my dreams sometimes tell me the future. Another thing that happens suddenly without my wanting it too is while I hold someones hand or their possession of various other objects, I can see the past present or future of a certain person." She stopped then then tilted her head. "There's also possessing people with a ghost's soul, but...I will never try such a thing on myself again until I am much older." she said gravely remembering the horror of it all. She thought about the common thing they had for a moment then asked. "So, do you like astral projection?" It seemes the small girl was going somewhere with this. Mainly because she was not afraid of astral projection as long as she was with another person. "It's much more enjoyable with other people then travelling to the spirit world alone, I find." Excel stood up and dusted off her dress, placing one hand over the other infront of her as she tilted her head. "So what do you say hmm? A little journey mayhaps?"

(ooc: hehe, oh well, can't hurt a girl for trying xDD But yeah I know what you mean because my mom tried to tanslate spanish things all the time and i have to correct her..)
Lienn listened to the girl's explanaition...ghosts, really, that was quite cool. A curious look came over her face as she talked about possessing other people with ghost souls..that sounded a bit creepy, and she sounded troubled by it. Again? So had she done it before...possibly with bad results, at least that was the impression she was getting..perhaps she would ask her later. Lucid blue eyes lit up at the mention of astral projection.
"You have it too? I knew I'd find at least one other person here with this gift!"
Her liight french accent was even more pronounced as she became excited about this. Wow, this was just too weird. Despite their hair, some of their powers, and a few other small things, they could be sisters...or something. The girl grinned, closing her sketchbook and pushing her pencil through the spiral binding.
"Hmm, an outing does sound nice. We'll need a safe place to store our bodies so no one stumbles upon them while we're out.."
She said, never mind the pun. During an astral projection...erm, 'adventure,' the caster's body remains motionless and basically defenseless while the owner is outside of it. This was ont of the reasons she didn't trifle much with this ability, especially in battle, as it was quite useless until the owner returned. The only thing she found this ability useful was for recon/spying..or for the occasional fun outing or two.

(Erk, sorry for lateness @ . @ Power outage no fun! >.>; Excel was pleased to find that Lienn was enthousiastic about the idea and nodded quickly as she mentioned placing their bodies at a safe place. Ah yes, that was very true and Excel was expecting this little suggestion. However, she wasn't very sure just WHERE to place themselves in order to be safe from harm. Maybe inside? In a bush sounded a little strange and if any person were to stumble upon two girl's lifeless bodies in a bush, they'd probably think they were murdered or something. That could lead in some way, in the end, with their bodies moved to somewhere else and that was no good at all. Excel looked around then tapped her finger on her lips shaking her hed softly then laughing sheepishly. "Oh and while we are out, you wouldn't mind leading the way? I've never really travelled in these parts and such and I'd rather not get...erm. Lost. So I'll follow you! Oh and. You must know a good place to stahs our bodies, yes?" Her arms were placed behind her back, her hands clasping eachother lightly as she rocked from her heels to her toes, just to keep herself busy. She was amazed at how easy it was to speak with people here. Excel didn't usually meet many people, living far out in a forest near a cemetary. Whenever she id they were met through her parents and so, she never really did it on her own. This was probably why Excel had strange ways of meeting people. Wether it be a statue thief or a compliment to a persons art. It was...a nice change. She knew she would like it much more here then she first thought.

The blonde girl thought for a moment, narrowing an eye the slightest fraction, a small frown upon her lips. They probably wouldn't store them anywhere outside, someone might stumble upon them, and then who knows what would happen...light blue eyes glanced up at her new friend, glinting slightly as she was struck with an idea.
"We could always store them in one of our rooms and lock the door, that one no one would find them and meddle. Sound good?"
She asked, placing the end of a few strands of her long straw hair between rosy lips, it was an absent habit. That could work, and that way they could explore all they wanted and not have to worry.
(ooc: that's okay...I've been running all week for vacation bible school, from 7:30am-9ishpm I've been out of the house...this week is so hellish...lol)

"One of the rooms sounds like a great Idea. And since I JUST moved into mine, we might as well use it, non? Come come, we can leave them there!"
Excel turned around quickly and smiled brightly at the thought of astral projection. She hadn't done it in so very long, and it seemed that the very thought of using the ability along with someone else who could, sounded much more fun. Imagine the mischief they couldn't get caught for. *'Now Excel, il ne faut pas utiliser tes pouvoires pour le mal ou pour fair des choses méchantes!' she thought, shaking her head. A sudden smirk crossed her lips however. **'Mais...ce n'ai pas comme....si quelqu'un pourrais le savoire.' she giggled to herself but promised not to do outstandingly bad things. These things made her feel bad afterwards.
She walked up the few steps higher from where she had been sitting then standing, and opened the front doors, waiting for her new friend to enter before letting it close behind her and taking the lead to find her room. She doubted, that Lienn knew where Excel's dorm room was, unless she could read minds! ***'Bien, elle a bien dit qu'elle étais Télépatique. Ca ce pourais bien!' she thought, giggling at the mistake.
After a few turns of hallways and such, Excel stopped at a room and unlocked it with a key. She was very very cautious with doors, having been robbed once when she was younger. After opening the door, she peered inside and blushed softly. "I'm sorry. It may be very messy, I just sort of put in my luggage and stuff." Basically, messy for her was her luggage there on the ground, closed and in the middle of a rather empty room. Her bed was set however and so after a sheepish laugh, she le the girl in. "We could let our bodies fall on the bed, at least the empty shells will be comfy" she said jokingly.
(Tranlations: *: I musn't use my powers for bad or to do mean things.
**: But, it's not like anyone would know!
***: Well, she DID say she was telepathic. It's quite possible!))

Lienn followed her new friend into the building and down the winding hallways until the girl stopped in front of a door, taking out a key and unlocking it. Pale blue eyes looked about, this wasn't too far from where her own room was! Down the hall to the left and then a turn to the right, or at least she thought so. All these hallways tended to look the same sometimes. Stepping into the room, she looked about curiously, her curiosity mixed with a bit of confusion as she appologized for her room being messy. She had hardly even unpacked! Lienn giggled at Ex's proposal about their empty shells, her humor was contagious.
"I'm sure they will be quite comfortable."
She agreed with a laugh, moving over to sit on the bed, bouncing slightly under the springs. She brought her legs up to sit indian style, stretching her back and arms in preparation.
"Now how do you go about projecting yourself? I usually start out meditating and then slip into this deeper state, it's kind of like opening a door...I don't know the proper terms for it..next thing I know, I'm looking at myself.."
She said with a shrug, gaze directed at the floor thoughfully, then back up at Excel. She wasn't that knowledgable about her astral projection, hence one of the reasons why she was here. But now that she'd found a friend with the same ability, she was confident that she would soon learn quite a lot.

Excel closed the door and joined Lienn on her bed. She knew that she'd be comfy, these beds were made quite comfortably. Heck, this bed was better then the one she had back home!
Her head turned and looked up a little to look at Lienn as she spoke and soon Excel began to think. "How?" she asked retorically. She brought her head back to face before her, tapping her index finger of her chin. "Well, I don't use meditation really. It's weird, but the spirits I work with the most, come and pull my soul out, and next thing I know I'm floating freely." she said with a nod.
"Hey, I'll go first then watch you do it!" she suggested. Excel stood onto he bed, her eyes closing while her arms were out like a priest telling a prayer. It was like she was inviting someone for a hug or something. Her lips moved as if she was saying something then she began to hum a small tune. The style was very "Tribal" sounding and soon enough, her eyes snapped open, lifelessly, and her body fell onto the bed limply.
Excel stared at one of the spirits she worked with mostly, being one of her ancestors. She smiled gently and waved at him, befor he disappeared. "Well there I go." she said, turning around and loooking towards Lienn. "Now it's her turn."
Excel was actually quite curious as to how Lienn astral projected herself. It was going to be quite a treat to see, Excel knew it. Wether it was extraordinary or not.
