"Don't s'pose you'd tell me what I should do with you."
Onira patted the side of it's neck lightly, looking at the blank yet somewhat intelligent eyes of the creature. He had to wonder where the creature had come from. If it was somebody else's, then chances were it would have already been found in the courtyard. After all, someone would have been bound to recognize it as a student's familiar or apparition or whatever you called it. "Pet" didn't seem quite right. Especially for such a large creature.
He ran a hand along one of the animal's horns, admiring the magnificence of the creature. He felt in some way connected to it. Not physically, of course, but mentally. They did have something in common. Being strange. So far the attitude of the animal was fairly regular, yet it's fur or hair or whatever was a very bright silver. As well, it seemed to possess the same unnatural glow of Onira's own hair, unable to witness in the shade of of the tree the two rested in, but easily recognizable in the sunlight in which the creature walked through to approach Onira.
It bent over, nudging it's head slightly against Onira's chest, one replying by pushing it's head down a little. It bent it's knees to lay down, placing it's head in Onira's lap as one saw larger dogs do with their owners.
"You're very friendly, aren't you?"
No reply was had, yet one figured it's answer evident in it's actions. He smiled. For a second, he thought back only a minute ago of when he was approached. He couldn't help it. It wasn't every day one came across a shining silver elk. However, the surprise only lasted a moment in their meeting. The two welcomed each other into their little invisible bubble, seeming to communicate through the silence, yet ultimately just going along. One of Onira's more charismatic of talents. His overall welcoming presence towards most animals. Even chickens didn't run away from him. The unchickinizer as one may call him. Not likely.
"Don't suppose you'r psychic, too."
He smiled down at the elk, getting only a huff out of him.
"Thought so."
