Sieg walked down the hallway, a tattered brown cloak swishing around him as he walked. His goggles hung limply from his neck, hitting his chest rythmically with each step. Emerald eyes curiously swept over the hallway taking in and observing everything with a keen eye for detail. There was a pneumatic hiss as a robotic golem tromped along behind him.
He smile softly as a small silver beetle climbed out of the pouch on his shoulder and climbed onto his hand. He stroked it softly with his thumb as he brought it up to eye level, "Go find out where my dorm is," he commanded softly as he gently set the beetle down on the ground and it skittered off to fufill it's master's command. Sieg heard a pop in the golem as it stopped and he immediately whipped out a set of tools.
"Sounds like you've got a kink there Atticus," he said with a delighted grin as he got to work, opening up the golem and tinkering with it's insides to find and solve the problem. Soon the floor was littered with springs, coils, gears, and cogs as Sieg worked on the golem in the middle of the hallway. People cast him glares and muttered angrily under their breath as they picked their way through the minefield of parts. Sieg was totally oblivious as his goggle-covered eyes scanned the golem's interior intently. He wiped a hand across his brow and continued to work, seemingly oblivious to those in the hallway who he was obstructing.

Celeste walked silently through the beautiful halls of the Arcane academy. She had no classes today and so she was getting to know the school instead. Her advanced mind already creating maps as she learned where everything was.
She had not met many people since she got here but it was her nature. She was very untrusting and there was no reason not to be. Her entire life had been spent as a research project for the Nephilim Corporation. So many things happened to the girl in her life every day that her trust was something that had to be earned.
The sound of tinkering came from around a corner and as curious about the real world outside Nephilim she moved towards the noise. Turning the corner she saw a boy with goggles working on a machine. Right in the hallway? Her mind instantly snapped into learning mode and she walked over slowly examining the different parts on the floor her white hair falling over her shoulders as her ice blue eyes scanned the area.
Not wanting to disturb him she sat to the side just out of the way but still close enough for her to see everything he took out or put back in. Man how she would like to get under it and see what he was really doing but she was not bold enough to make such a move. She didn't say anything she just watched her knees up to her chest her white dress tucked around her as she watched.
How intriguing.
"Is he... busted?" she asked in her soft angelic voice to the boy that was underneath the machine.

Sieg had been working intently but as soon as he heard someone address him he snapped out of it. Sitting up quickly he hit his head against the edge of the golems head. There was a resounding, tinny bang as his head collided with the metal of Atticus' head. He gripped his head but didn't make a sound, rubbing the affected area soothingly. Sieg stood up and realized that he had been tinkering with Atticus in the middle of the hallway. He scratched the back of his head embarrasedly and faced the girl who had addressed him.
"Ah, actually not really. He had a little pop when he walked so I wanted to check out his legs and make sure something wasn't wrong....guess I got a little carried away huh?" he said, chuckling softly as he looked at the parts-strewn ground, "Well this should take care of that," he said as he pulled out his pds and tapped a button. The pieces on the ground glowed faintly with mana and zipped back to their original places, soon Atticus was back to normal. Sieg slid his goggles to his forehead and stuck out his hand, "I'm Sieg, and you are?" he asked with a friendly smile.

The boy sat up. Only to hit his head hard on the underneath of the robot. She winced as the noise resounded through the hall. Her ice blue eyes opened wide as she watched him rub his forehead. She was worried he'd really hurt himself.
But soon it seemed he was okay. She watched her eyes wide with wonder as he pulled out a electronic device and the pieces on the floor glowed. She reached out tentatively but pulled back quickly as the pieces seemed to move on their own to the robot going back in place.
Wow....
She looked up with her blue eyes and smiled gently at him. Her eyes filled with wonder at his magic. She stood up gently and took his hand shaking it gently as she had seen other do. Her skin was soft as silk. She smiled at him again...
"Celeste." she said in her soft melodic voice. "A pleasure ... Mr. Seig."
She offered him another smile as she slid her soft hand out of his. She let her eyes move over to the robot and she moved closer very tentativly as she let her eyes roam over it. She reached out and hesitantly.. no.. yes.. she let her hand touch it gently.
"You made... this?" she asked astonished. "Amazing."

Quietly walking down the Hallway was a man....Quietly observing all actions before him. Indeed....these younger students, all hustling and bustling about him made the man feel a bit uneasy...as he was quite older then these kids here. Regardless, he came here to learn the full extent of his skills, and to be a master of his martial style, the style of strings. Regardless, he moved like a ghost among the students, people barely looking at the tall and mid twenties man.... When to be true he was a bit older then he appeared.. years of taking care of his skin to say. Regardless, he soon stopped as he noticed a Golem in the middle of the hallway, with two people conversing. The two that were talking were normal looking......at least for the Academy anyways... But Ethan found the Golem quite intriguing...
"I have rarely seen such marvelous designs' The man thought, silently approaching the construct. "Only in books and text have I seen descriptions and illustrations of these devices... Most Interesting"
Slowly the robe clad man walked toward the machine...looking at it intensely with his deep brown eyes...yet retained that cold and ever expressionless face that would be constantly synonymous with his name. Looking at the ground, Ethan looked as dozens of items littered the ground, all pieces of the Golem which stood before him. Indeed, Ethan found this quite fascinating. Back in his home, he had seen few tech mages... And those that he did find often wanted to harm him in some way. However, to get up close with this piece of machinery was indeed astounding for Ethan.... As he stood closely to the Golem...
"Such intricacy.... It's amazing..." The man said quietly to himself. "I have yet to seen a Golem here at all... Merely summons after summons"

He watched her with a smile, scratching his nose absentmindedly as she looked on in amazement as the pieces of Atticus re-fitted themselves and the robot flexed appreciatively. Sieg had fitted him with a speech processor but Atticus almost never used it, preferring rather to use motions to convey his thoughts and opinions rather than talk. Sieg had almost a psychic link with the golem and was able to put into words his motions with ease.
"Yes, this is Atticus. He's sort of my first attempt and creating a robotic golem," he said, patting Atticus' side with a proud smile. He noticed her tenatively reach out to touch him, "It's okay...he deosn't bite, I never built him a mouth," Sieg said laughing a little. There was a small skittering sound as a silver beetle crawled over her shoe and up his pant leg to rest on his shoulder.
Sieg smiled and stroked the bug softly with his index finger, "Let's see what you found my little friend," he said as the jewel on it's head hinged and a small cable snaked out which linked with the pds in his hand. Sieg hit the download button and the video feed of the beetle's journey was transfered to his pds. "Thank you," he said placing his finger near the bug's mouth and letting a small stream of mana flow into it as it curled up into a small metal ball which Sieg let drop into the pouch at his side.
"Nice to meet you Celeste, have you been studying here long?" he asked watching her with a smile, she certainly was beautiful. He turned with a proud smile to the newcomer, a man clad in a robe who was admiring Atticus.
Sieg stepped toward him with a hand extended, "Sieg Rhinehart...I'm sort of Atticus' creator," he said as held his hand out to the new man, "I see he caught your eye.." he said with a grin.

Celeste smiled as he said that he hadn't equipped the golem with a mouth. He certainly did have a sense of humor. She even let a small chuckle escape as she looked up at him her iced eyes a light with wonder and excitement. So innocent.
She looked in amazement as the little bug crawled up him. She smiled brightly almost childlike in a way as she stepped forward her hand reaching out to touch the bug. But she stopped as he pet it and she blushed slightly the pink crossing her pale skin. Again.. amazement as she watched the little bug turn into a small ball as he put it away.
Again..wow.
"No, Mr. Seig. I have.. only been here.. for two weeks." she said softly. Her sentence broken slightly from disuse but she was trying to get it smoothe like everyone elses.
A new man showed up and Celeste offered him a warm smile. Her hands folded around each other in front of the skirt of her white dress. But her attention was still on Seig and his golem for they in her mind were most interesting. She longed to see how Atticus worked. See his insides.

He turned back to Celeste and noticed she had reached out for the bug but he had accidentaly stopped her when he stroked the bug. He pulled two small metal spheres out of his pouch and they glowed briefly as he poured some mana into them. One un-folded into a beetle like the one that he had out earlier. There was a small whirring sound as the other turned into a small wasp, who's wings hummed softly as it hovered in the air a few inches off his palm. Sieg smiled and held his hand out to her, her innocence and sense of wide-eyed wonder was cute.
"I see my mini-sects caught your eyes Ms. Celeste...care to pet them?" he asked as he held the beetle and the wasp out to her for her to pet or examine as she saw fit.

Ethan turned to face the man who called himself the son of the man who created this Golem named Atticus. Hmm, Emotional Attachment? Well, if it can communicate and think, he supposed one can grow attach... Ethan? No... Not he. years of strict discipline and training kept him practically emotionless. Indeed, noble families can be hard at times. Slowly Ethan clasped his hands together and then bowed, yet his face never changed from it's cold and expressionless look. He soon looked back up, staring deeply with his cold and unfeeling brown eyes. Around him the students were a bit amazed to find Ethan.... A full grown man with some Japanese robes on. While the Academy did seem Westernized, Ethan thought it was odd that people looked and stared at him? Surely there have been people who wore robes in this school?
Regardless, Ethan soon began to speak, his face never changing as his tone remained a constant sounding.... Relaxed and calm it was to be...
"I am Ethan Yukimaru" The man spoke softly, still keeping his eyes oh so locked upon Sieg. "It is a pleasure to meet you."
With that, Ethan turned to face the woman, not wanting to be rube and break his timeless code of conduct. With that, he clasped his hands and bowed to her as well.... His hair falling all over his face before he went back up...and magically did his hair return to it's original state.
"And it is a pleasure to meet you as well" he then said, keeping his tone as before, elegant yet detached...
Soon enough, the silver insect that was on Sieg at one point Ethan's eyes, intriguing him. He too, had seen designs in text books illustrating these small tiny Golems which can take many interesting shapes. The shape of a beetle here, for example, was very interesting. However, Ethan remained detach as usual, his eyes silently observing the creature while he himself remained the same looking as before.... hell, he looked the same when he first entered the hallways this morning. Quietly returning tot he Golem, he began to study it... Wondering if the thing was active.

Her eyes went wide again as he pulled the little balls out of his pack. For her? Wow! She watched her crystalline ice colored eyes watched in complete amazement as the small balls turned back into the insect she had seen before and one she had never seen.
She was about to reach out and touch them when the man bowed to her. Bowed...to her?? Her eyes went wide as she curtsied properly before smiling at him.
"A pleasure.. Mr. Ethan." she said softly.
Her attention back to the bugs as she stepped closer up to Seign and reached out her pale delicate hand and touched the little bug in his hand. She smiled up at him as she looked up at him as if to ask if it was okay before she picked it up gently and placed it in her hands. She giggled as it moved around on her hands and tickled her gently.
"Does he.. have a ... a name?" she asked softly looking up at Seig with her beautiful eyes.

Sieg scratched his chin with a little puzzlement as he watched the formal way in which Ethan greeted people. It was odd how emotionally lacking his voice and tone were, but for the meantime Sieg would put that out of his mind. He watched with a smile as Celeste picked up the beetle and let it crawl on her hand, he decided to put the flyer away for now, giving it a small mana meal before it turned back into it's sphere form and he placed it back in his pouch.
He listened intently as she asked if the beetle had a name, "No I haven't gotten around to naming them all....I have a lot of them in this pouch here," he said, patting the pouch hooked to his side lightly, "But if you'd like to give him a name...please be my guest," he said with a smile.
Atticus turned to look at Ethan, his head cocking to the side as if to question what exactly Ethan was looking at. Sieg smiled a little, "He wants to know what exactly it is you would like to ask about him..." Sieg explained as Atticus turned to face Ethan looking down at him as his single optic sensor glowed a dim yellow.

"I would like to know....his energy source and how he can move his limbs. They say magic is what moves this....but more specification would be nice" Ethan said calmly, his eyes slowly turning their way toward Sieg... Soon enough, a silence fell between the two for a very brief moment
"However, do tell me" The man began at once, his face never changing from it's polite, yet somehow cold, posture. "What type of magic style are you studying in?"
He then turned toward the woman who was near him and looked at her with his eyes...as if piercing her soul or reading her mind. The gentle roar of the students, despite it's loudness, did not stop Ethan from being melodic and gentle in his tone.... A very cold tone at that though...
"And you miss... What style are you studying under?" He soon posed upon the girl....

The little bug that looked exactly like a beetle crawled up and sat on her shoulder. She giggled and looked up at Seig in awe when he said she could name him. Her.. name him. Oh wow! She looked at the little beetle that sat happily on her shoulder like a bird and smiled at him.
"What about.. Azure?" she asked softly as she looked back up at Seig hoping he liked the name. Azure..blue.. the stone on the little bugs back it was perfect in her mind.
She smiled and let her hand pet the little bug that sat on her shoulder. She looked at Ethan.. never had she met a man with so little emotion in her voice. But now she had even the doctors and scientists at the Corporation had more emotion to their voices than this.
She bit her lower lip for a moment and looked at them both. Could she trust them? She was learning more and more that people out in the academy were not as bad as the ones she had lived with at the Corp. She nodded gently closing her eyes for a moment she opened them again.
Her eyes now the color of deep red rubies as she thrust her shoulder blades back and her wings unfurled out of her back with grace. Angel's wings. Snow white feathers that were soft as the finest silk as they stood errect behind and around the girl the little beetle stayed in it's spot.
"Celestial Magic." she said softly and blushed looking down for a moment before looking back up. She wasn't used to people seeing her wings. But she had found that they were more or less accepted here.

Sieg's face lit up a little at Ethan's question, he loved discussing his inventions with others. He motioned to Atticus who opened his chest cavity up revealing a glowing orb connected to a series of circuits and wires. Sieg sighed softly as he watched the orb glow and swirl with energy, he had seen it many times as he worked on and maintained Atticus but the awe of it never ceased.
"What powers Sieg is actually a mana battery of my own creation. I based it on the technology of a computer's power supply but infused it with mana. It left me drained for several days but I think it was well worth it. I'm a student of technomancer magic" he said, patting Atticus' back proudly as the chest chamber closed with a pneumatic hiss. Sieg turned back to Celeste who seemed very happy with the beetle perched on her shoulder. For some reason it gave him a warm feeling to make the girl feel so happy.
"Azure is a perfect name," he said with a nod and his eyes widened in amazement as she spread wings and told them her magic style, "Wings...amazing," he said softly, stepping closer to her and inspecting them intently, "They are beautiful....if you don't mind me saying," he said with a faint blush as he reached out tenatively to touch them as if to confirm to himself that they were indeed real wings.

"Celestial Magic" Ethan said, nodding politely, yet still coldly, at Celeste. "It sounds lovely. Perhaps later, a demonstration would perhaps demonstrate the exact nature of this magic"
He soon looked at the girl, or More specifically the wings she had. It was indeed very interesting... After all, not everyday you see a person with wings. Regardless, the man soon straighten up, after leaning in to examine the wings she had. Perhaps her powers were that of an Angels? After all, Celestial is the heavens and she does have wings... Regardless, a demonstration would be nice... But to challenge a young girl to a duel would be out of the question, and would be a disgrace to his honor as a man of the Yukimaru family....
Regardless, he turned to face Sieg, with him describing his style. So, he was a Technomage was he. A very interesting style indeed. Furthermore, Atticus' power source was a mana battery, also proving to be both interesting and valuable. After all, if he did get into a spar with the man he'd know where to strike. However, a mana battery's concept was quite interesting, and Ethan found it to raise his interest in this field of magic...along with the fact a Golem was standing in front of him. However, he shall return to being a master of his art, which is more of a martial arts then a magic style...
"So...a mana battery.. Very interesting" Ethan said, calm as usual.
