Magical Theorem Debate (Open)

OOC: Note this thread is to be closed until AFTER I post with Darian, Kheldar, Drake, and Lanji.

OOC 2: This thread is more or less kept by my pace and I will start each topic of debate and give concluding arguements.

OOC 3: Don't use what you know in this debate but, focus on what your character would know and how he or she would argue it.

Darian found the room he wanted. The room he had been looking for. The room was a large lecture hall that Darian had asked if he could use for a student-held Magical Theorem Debate. He was hoping that many would be attracted to this small event that he had made. Magical Theorem Debate. A chance to at least have a passing knowledge of new magics and how they could be applied. This was Darian's little inner motive in truth he also liked arguing out points. He opened the large double doors stepping into the lecture hall that had recently been cleaned. Flipping on the lights Darian winced slightly as they came on and his eyes adjusted to it. This room was large having the lecture hall feel with room for over one hundred students to sit comfortably.

Darian had asked for a few spells to be put in namely a beverage and snack table that would constantly refill itself until Darian ended the debate. Still he was hoping it would last for a few hours. Picking up a piece of chalk he wrote the words 'Magical Theorem Debate' on the blackboard and gave a smile as Orchid strode into the room and Darian ruffled the cat's ears indicated the bowels on the floor that were waiting for the cat. Orchid simply layed on the floor as he was watching his master seem excited by this class. It would be most interesting indeed to see how this turned out. This wasn't an official class more of a voluntary thing that Darian wanted to host for the sheer fun of it.

Interesting. Lanji was still wearing a chainmail suit since he didn't feel comfortable without armor but, the mail suit was more of an oranamental thing so that Lanji would feel the weight of armor still. A massive broadsword hung at his hip the only weapon that Lanji took with him. After all why stride through unholy territory unarmed? He shook his head as he headed down the hall he had seen a bulletin about some magical debate thing. Strange indeed. He would have to attend to insure that a holy conviction would be in the room so that it would at least be sound and just. Perhaps this would be a good time to convert the uncouth people here to at least be sympathetic to the Order's cause.

This shalt be most amusing.

Lanji strode into the room indicated finding a frenchman before him who was obviously of noblebirth like himself. So this was the Darian fellow. The man wore elegant black and gold trim clothes with a certain grace and elegance. Most excellent the man wore a cross surely a man of god.

"I look forward to thine debate, your grace."

Naturally Lanji knew of the Dumonte family who were catholics themselves and so he smiled.

"It is most conveinent that thou art the moderator of this most interesting occaison."

Lanji picked up a glass of ice water for himself the strange magics placing another cup on the table. He himself took a seat in the front row noticing the intelligent cat sprawled out near it's master. As it should be.

Kheldar thought to himself as he walked down the hall a book in hand as he thought about it for a moment and almost gave a grin.

Oh yeah. To have a chance to bitch at things without pissing people off.

The Magitech Knight ran his fingers through his blonde hair for a moment as he was wearing slacks gray slacks and a gray turtleneck sweater. He gave a frown for a moment as he reached the hall only seeing two people in there right now.

Hell only two people in here right now?!

Kheldar sighed mentally as he made his way into the room picking up a can of soda and a sandwich half he himself taking a seat in the back row where he would be above everyone else so far.

Drake was bored. Well not Drake. DARK WAS BORED! And that inherently was typically a bad thing. It meant that Drake needed to find something for him to keep his mind occupied. The Magical Theorem Debate would hopefully keep the trouble maker busy. After all if he was busy arguing then he couldn't think of say sneaking into a girl's room or something of that matter. Drake gave a sigh for a moment as he ran his fingers through his own hair. Sometimes being bound to Dark was such a bother. He wore a t-shirt and vest and also slacks. All of which were pale white with blue trim. He pushed his glasses up to his nose for a moment.

Drake stepped through the doorway seeing Kheldar whom he had met before. Darian he had met in a Dark Arts class. The new guy in armor was something to be noted. He nodded at everyone picking up a bottle of juice and lounged out in the middle row on the oppisite end as Kheldar.
