Night time. The perfect time for Relic to go outside for some fresh air. The night air always tasted so much sweeter to him anyway. Hie red eyes peered around the schoolyard as he walked around slowly, catching every piece of information as to his surroundings. Knowing what was aroung you was an important thing Relic always had to do. He never ever knew when he'd need to use his surroundings to his advantage. Maybe...maybe he WAS a bit paranoid, but that's how he was really.
His body had attained high heats at the moment. Seeing as he was alone as he walked, not knowing any students personally or even having been aquainted with anyone, he saw no need to cover up his skin. His feet were covered with his socks and shoes so that the grass or whatever else was easily flamable, wouldn't catch fire. That would mean big trouble and Relic had wanted to stay out of that. His shoulders were bare, since he was wearing his long Chinese shirt which was sleeveless. His arms and hands were bare as well. This meant, four hand-sized fire balls could be seen. Two commin out from his shoulders and two from his palms, covering his entire hand, front and back.
How irritating. Always having to keep an eye out of your hands and sometimes on your shoulders and feet so you wouldn't start an object on fire. And how annoying to always watch out that in this state you touched ABSOLUTELY no one since that would cause a reaction in that persons body, igniting their very flesh on fire. Worst of all, nothing BUT water could save said person.
Relic smiled softly though. Thanking god that this only happened once in a while. "Otherwise...I'd have to ALWAYS be careful not to touch ANYTHING.[/i] he hissed to himself.
A cold droplet landed on his arm, and right away Relic could hear the small droplette boiling on his arm until it evaporated. Rain? Ah yes, rain. It was beginning to drop from the sky, toning down the noticable flames and colling down his body temperature. He didn't really care. The flames HAD provided him light as he walked, however if the rain would turn them off, oh well. At least this way nothing would catch fire.
The rain began to pour down harm, his body fuming at the sudden change of temperature, and Relic looked up, closing his eyes and embracing it all. Rain was beautiful. It felt beautiful. And it didn't ever seem to look horrid, not even in storms. Relic placed a smile on his face, stretching out his arms and sighing contentedly. How long had it been since he had last seen the rain? Had last felt it? He felt like a small child again!
His head lowered a little bit, his red hair soaked and sticking to his neck a little. His red eyes however, peered around to see if anyone was around. He'd feel rather...embarassed if he had been watched at this moment...but he'd face the music. He always did before. Heck, if anyone was around, that just meant company for him, wether it be quiet company or not.

Walking very closely behind Relic was Ethan...quietly making echoes down the Night. However, the rain had concealed his movements, while his dark clothing did not do anything to make himself more see able. In his hand he held a single umbrella...made from the strings that he so always carried around with him. His cold eyes watched calmly as he saw the man in front of him embrace the storm...taking it in as he enjoyed the water flowing down upon him. Watching as the water evaporated off the man's body... Ethan realized he was a fire mage or sorts. Indeed, most interesting was that. However, to combat this man in a battle, all the techniques Ethan could use would be from the Book of Death...instantly, killing techniques. He knew not why thoughts of battle came to his head... Nor why he had a degree of intention on fighting a complete stranger...
"Perhaps.. I've grown battle accustomed" He thought, thinking back to his younger years...
Indeed, with the family war which ripped apart he Yukimaru Clan, he had indeed seen death and battle all around his kin. Destruction and violence filled his time at the front lines of the war as the violence quickly spread over the family fortune. Enough of that though... Ethan and his faction had long ago placed control once more back into the family. As for the reason he was going out this night...was because he loved nightly strolls around the city and school. It was time to give himself space to think and rest... While preparing for what not. Anyways, looking at the man, Ethan just looked at his eyes with his emotionless brown ones.... As though he were trying to read his soul...
"Good Day" Ethan spoke, his tone cold, yet elegant and somewhat commanding. "I am Ethan Yukimaru... It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance"
With that, The Weaver stopped, the rain coming down upon himself and the stranger. In his hands he held some string...just in case he ahd assumed wrong and this man was some psycho that wanted to burn Ethan to a crisp..... Yet, his face remained so cool and calm...even while facing down someone could cold burn anything he touched and was a powerful fire mage.

As previously suspected, someone HAD been there, though Relic chose not to make a big deal out of it. The man spoke, Relic not noting any harshness or wanting to harm. He turned to face this man and smirked a little. "Relic Oersted, and likewise."[/i] he said. He looked down at his own hand, not trusting it completely even though the rain had extinguished the flame. It always felt more normal to shake a persons hand afterwards, but he guessed that Ethen had seen the flames before the rain had come and he'd probably understand.
The man's lifeless eyes sort did send chills down his back, looking as if they were about to suck out his soul or something of the like. He took note about how he held strings in his hands. It was odd to Relic, but he supposed there was perhaps some form of purpose behind it. Maybe, something to keep his hands occupied? Or maybe something else. It held little importance however, and seeing as he had just met someone, at perhaps the oddest time and place, he decided that maybe even small talk was in order.
"So, what brings you out this night, Mr. Yukimura."[/i] Relic asked, feeling it was more polite to not speak someones name unless you were friends with them. Though, that was just how Relic's mentality worked. If Ethan told him to call his just Ethan, Relic would. But for now, he'd call him Mr. Yukimura. "Personally, I like the night much more, regardless of temperature and weather."[/i] he said, imputing his own reason before haring out Ethan's. His voice rather silent at the moment. He wasn't too sure why though, maybe it had to do with the atmosphere or just the moment.
Slowly but surely, the rain was starting to subside, still falling but not as hard, allowing Relic's flames to ignite a little bit again, though the flames struggled to stay lit. Relic hissed softly, just wanting them to go already, but it's not like they were alive and so telling them "GO AWAY" wasn't going to do much. He'd just have to wait it out.

Ethan just looked on at Relic, staring at him coldly in the eye as his face remains shiftless.... Like ice. The rain around them then slowly began to stop, as he listened to the words the man before him said. Mr Yukimaru he said....rousing the interest in the man before him. It seemed he knew the ways of the polite, and wasn't the standard teenage punk that refers to everyone by their first names. It was good to know that he, surrounded by people a decade younger then him, had people to whom could learn proper respect for the older and royal... he was, after all, nobility and heir to his clan. Staring calmly at Relic, he soon took a step toward him, his umbrella still bouncing off drops of rain which fell down...
"So i see Oersted" Ethan said, his tone still the same as before... Cold and emotionless. "I too prefer the night over the regular day. It is a time for rest and relaxation... When the stress and strain of the day can be replenish as it gives me time to thin and reflect upon myself. The cool night winds, the quietly aura... It all is most relaxing Oersted..."
With that, he paused, still staring at the man with his cold eyes. Pulling his strings back to their original position, Ethan determined that the man was not a threat to him, and decided to put some trust in him. Indeed, the night wind to what Ethan was describing eventually came.... Blowing against his face as it pushed his hair far back...
"So lovely" He thought to himself....feeling the cooling breeze of the winds...

Relic felt it odd to be referred to as Oersted. It felt a little odd, not in a bad way of course. Thing is, growing up, people seldom used his last name at all. Heck, it wasn’t his actual last name either. He remembered, it was Relic Zeibel, not Relic Oersted, but Chris had changed it to that for some reason. In any case, he knew this was a sign of respect of Ethan’s part and he graciously decided not to prod Yukimura to just call him Relic. Perhaps in time, if the two would perhaps become friends or in good terms, but not right now.
Strangely enough, Relic was already seeing something they had in common. Their preference to the night over the day. It was a good start however, and if he found that was the only thing they had in common then so be it. It was better then nothing, right? He nodded however, in acknowledgement to everything Yukimura said. Relic felt the same way really. It seemed that, nothing felt quite as soothing as the night. No even the most beautiful sunset in a quiet and beautiful field. Not that Relic had ever been to one anyway. But that was besides the point.
A bit of wind picked up, though it has been enough to feed his fire through the lighter falling rain. Right as he felt it, he quickly took a few steps back, away from Ethan, the fire on his shoulders and hands growing brighter and much larger. If he had stayed there, he was worried he would of set his new acquaintance on fire, and that wasn’t all that great of a first impression either. He smiled awkwardly and rubbed the back of his head, laughing slowly. This felt somewhat awkward really.
In a desperate attempt to keep his mind off it, Relic quickly spoke up, “So, where are you from, Mr. Yukimura?”[/i] He hoped he wasn’t being intruding with the question. He wouldn’t mind it if he didn’t receive an answer to it. But had had learned that getting to know someone you meet was a good idea. That way, you’d know you could rely on them perhaps, if all went accordingly. ‘Staying mere acquaintances but being in good terms with Mr. Yukimura would work out for me.’ He thought, crossing his arms gently. There was no need to quickly assume friendships. No need at all.

Ethan merely looked at Relic...just staring him so calmly and relaxed in the eyes as he waited for him to do something. Indeed, talking with a person a night can be relaxing..as it gives Ethan time to relax and think to himself. With that, he heard Relic ask another question.... One regarding where he came from. While h may be a bit of a stranger... Ethan figured why not and decided that he would reveal his past. After all, if anyone wanted to know they could simply go and look up his personal records. Clutching the umbrella lightly, Ethan took another step toward Relic...his eyes still on him like a hawk...
"I am from the Illustrious Yukimura line from Japan" Ethan said, his tone still cold and emotionless. "There, we used our mastery over humanity's birthright, magic, to acquire a nearly endless wealth. For a time we were nobleman below the Shogun..... But as the days of the Shogun ended, we shifted from Nobleman to Business men, molding ourselves over the elites of today and the past..."
With that, he paused...not wanting to do further. There was no need to tell him about the special magic martial arts, the number of lines which ran through the family, the fact HE is the heir to the vast fortunes of the family nor the war which split the family asunder and the work to once more rebuild the family out of the war. Anyways, staring coldly and emotionlessly at Relic...he soon began to wonder about him...
"So tell me Oersted" Ethan began, his tone crisp and cold "What about your origins?"

Relic looked back into Ethan’s cold eyes, feeling somewhat intimidated. He didn’t know why, but he felt a little bit awkward near this man. He wasn’t frightened of him per-se, but, he did feel like he should be cautious. Not only that, but Yukimura was watching him quite closely, almost like he too was being cautious as to if Relic would suddenly attack.
His focus was off that as he watched Ethan take yet another step closer, Relic’s personal space being somewhat invaded. He didn’t like this, getting too close was dangerous right now, and through his slight worry, the flames on his shoulders blazed a bit, just as a warning. It quickly died down however as the rain was still falling from the sky. Relic took a step back and sighed softly. He nodded however, at his story and was left at lost of words when it was redirected to himself.
“I’m not too sure, actually. I think I’m from England…but I was never told anything, growing up. I mean, I just learned a few months ago that killing was a horrible thing to do and…”[/I] he trailed off there, his eyes lowering and a grim expression on his face. He had mentioned it. Killing. Something that always managed to make his heart ache with regret. “S-sorry. There’s not much to say about me, and where I came from, except I killed my parents, nearly killed my foster family, killed countless others for my adoptive dad, caused harm to everyone who came to know me and betrayed my step sister…”[/I]
He had the look of utter depression on his face. Where he came from and what he did was something he liked to put behind him, however, knowing now what he had did was so horrible. It wasn’t too great a conversation at that. And sometimes, no matter how much he would tell himself ‘It’s passed now’ the past still haunted him.
For the moment, he remained silent…

Ethan continued to watch over Relic....silently looking over him as he observed the man. Apparently, from what Ethan got, it would be best to move back...as his shoulder spouting into fire would suggest. Quickly stepping back, Ethan let the little rain continue to fall upon his umbrella as he observed... Still looking so coldly into the eyes of the man. He then listened to his talk. Apparently, he was a assassin of sorts from England, just oddly enough Ethan is half English, from what Ethan could gathered. His so-called Father was a made man, using Relic's power to take down people for various reasons. Ethan then noted at how overall... sad he was. Indeed, how couldn't you get sad when killing people... And then Ethan came along...
"So i see" He responded coolly, watching over the man still like a hawk... With his features again cold and expressionless. "Indeed, killing is among the worst things for a regular human to do. From what I gathered you killed countless people... But what about when killing those to whom you've known and loved?". With that Ethan paused, his face still just as cold as ice. He looked back to the war at that moment...reflecting heavily on it. The chaos of pain of war, the fire that separate lovers and family. It was a malicious flame, yet Ethan remained cool, relaxed, as if these memories didn't hurt them. "I too was sent to kill" he began, his tone cold and yet elegant. "In the family, there was a war over the massive wealth we gathered from magic. In it, i had to slay cousins to whom i knew, Kill friends that sided with the cousins, destroy family members to whom I shared my childhood with. So i suppose, somewhere in the end, we are very much alike in ways..."
With that, he stopped, his face still the same. A lifetime of conditioning would not let his emotions be so readily seen across his complexion. Regardless, with that Ethan stopped...wondering what Relic would say about that? Oh yes, for the finally part... Ethan forgot to mention he is the heir for the family, as all the other's in line were killed during the war, making him the one to inherit all this. Indeed, from the war the one who emerged victorious was Ethan, not exactly the faction he worked with. Regardless, with that he continued to stare and watch Relic...never taking his cold brown eyes off...

Relic’s eyes remained low; staring at the ground with his eyes while his head remained straight. No…no he was wrong. So terribly wrong. Yes, he HAD killed many, with a mere touch. Whether it be his skin or the flames sprouting from his body…a single touch from his sent a person ablaze. However, after hearing Ethan’s story, Relic shook his head.
“No...no we are not alike at all…”[/I] he said softly. “If we are, it’s just because of causing harm to our family…in the end, that’s where the similarities stop.”
He trailed of there, his eyes shifting from the ground to meet with Ethan’s ever watching ones. “However…”[/I] he said, quivering softly as his fists clenched. His eyes closed tightly then, “I DIDN’T KILL MY OWN PARENT’S BECAUSE I WANTED TO! BECAUSE OF PERSONAL GAINS! I LOVED THEM! I LOVED MY PARENT’S SO MUCH! I’D NEVER WISH HARM TO BEFALL THEM! NO MATTER WHAT”[/I] he stopped there and held his head, if it were tears strolling down his cheeks or only the rain…one would not know. “It was all an accident…I didn’t want to. I couldn’t control this stupid power and I burned down my house! I started a fire in my own house from my own hands! Then, my father tried to save me, but from a mere touch, he burst out in flames and died…my mother was heartbroken and embraced the flames to take he too. I. I killed them both by accident…I didn’t have to. I didn’t want to. But I just did…”[/I]
After his outburst, Relic let his hands drop from his head, his teeth clenched as he quivered softly still. The flames sometimes rose up more strongly, reacting to every emotion felt. There…he had said it. Said what he had done. The rest? It was unimportant. Chris, his adoptive father, was unimportant, Marine, his stepsister, was unimportant. The Zeibels…he could care less. But his mother and father. Oh those two he would always remember. Remember their smiles and kindness and remember their horrified faces before Relic killed them. Accidentally of course, but he was still their murderer.
He bowed to Ethan, then, not bothering from wiping the water trinklets from his face. “I’m so very sorry for that. I shouldn’t of yelled.”[/I] He said gently. “Nor should I have blurted all this to you. It is non of your concern and I know.”[/I] His voice returned to its calm and gentleness, a fake smile creeping up his lips. It sort of felt much better now that it had been blurted out, however, he felt horrible for yelling. It wasn’t Yukimura’s fault all this happened. It was Relic’s. And there had been no need for all he said. Sure, Ethan had asked, but Relic didn’t usually speak it with such anger or at all really.

Ethan moved back a bit, as the flames began to engulf the area. His eyes, however, still remained upon Relic...never shifting, never moving... Always watching. He listened as Relic told the story of how he accidentally killed his own family.....Burning his father and driving his mother to suicide. It was indeed a sad story, sadly though, stories of mages who killed love ones appear everywhere... And Ethan had heard many of them. Regardless, when Relic died down the fires Ethan then proceeded to move to his same spot, still unshaken by the fire that Relic had displayed. Indeed, Ethan had sensed great power in this man...and perhaps in combat, he would provide to be a very powerful opponent.... The only thing Ethan would do is attack from afar...but why is his mind going to this?
Regardless, he soon stared at the man....just watching him as the night winds came rushing in.... Blowing his hair around... "Relax Oersted, releasing your anger is good" Ethan began, his tone still the cold same as before. "You must relax thy self, and release your emotions before they consume your soul. Be that your actions are accidental, you should not mop around and instead seek redemption. With that flame of your, you could use it to cleanse and kill evil, so to speak. Although I, do not walk that path, i have met many who have... The Path of a Cleanser or Assassin"
With that, he paused...still staring calmly and relaxed at the man. To atone for his accident, Ethan supposed he should use that power for good and what not. Of course, from the numerous experiences he had with those like Relic, he thought of a certain thought that would be going through his head dealing with people in his boat." Of course, i doubt you want to use your powers to kill again" He stared, his eyes piercing and dark, "But the path to redemption has been said to be bloodier then the path of sin. I am here not to force you to do anything...but I say that to possibly remove your guilt or crimes, making up for them through your skills is a worthy persuit... For the power you used to start the problem can be the power that ends it..."

(Yikes. Sorry for the late reply.)
Relic was somewhat relieved internally, for Ethan's calm reaction. Along with that, Relic felt someone unsettled as well with this reaction. He wasn't sure why, but it sort of worried/bugged him. Regardless, this was an unecessary feeling, and thus, he didn't bother with thinking much of it any longer. "No. The way I release anger is unacceptable. I should be in control of my emotions...for the safety of everyone and everything."[/i] she said, smiling wryly while his hand lifted up to rub the back of his head.
He listened to the words of redemption. Redemption? To who's eyes? He had no one important enough to him left to even pput up the effort. And God? Well, Relic wasn't much of a religious person, not that he would bash someones beliefs because of it or anything. The idea sounded just a bit silly, t'was all. 'I've killed enough already...this guy must be a total joke if he think's i'm gonna go kill more people. Evil or not, they're still people and I-'
His thoughts were interrupted however, and with the next words he spoke, Relic's opinion on Ethan was soon changed. From Okay, to nuts to alright again. Ethan's piercing dark eyes sent a shiver down Relic's spine, feeling somewhat intimidated. The only times he'd be stared like this way back when was when he would be looked at by his up comming victims.
~**But the path to redemption has been said to be bloodier then the path of sin.**~ Ethan started up again, Relic hearing the words echoe through his head. Oh just wonderful. This was exactly why he wanted to live with his sin. After Ethan was done speaking, Relic tilted his head and gave Ethan a skeptical look.
"Wouldn't killing even more people, regardless of if thir criminals or saints, still be sinning. Point. Yes, I would be ridding the world of "Evil" however, who am I to judge those people and kill them, and set the example of killing and other horrible things are wrong? Would I not be hypocritical and do wrong to right another wrong? It's absurd!"[/i]
Relic turned and began to walk towards a tree, placing a hand on it and turning to Ethan. "Watch."[/i] he said calmly. The tree started to spark, and almost immediately was set ablaze. Relic took a few steps back and watched the tree burn, the water falling as drops from the sky, merely hindring it a little bit. Not much later, the tree was burnt completely to ashes and Relic tried to shrink and shrink the fire, until the rain was strong enough to extinguish the smaller flame.
"This is what happenes to a tree when I touch it. Now, it's got no mouth, so it burns and no cries are heard. Bow, by becomming an 'assassin' of sorts, and using my power to redeem myself, I'd only make it worst. No one deserves to die. Not by my hands. I have no right to torture someone with my flame, murder them, and claim I am redeeming myself. I see no logic. Only more pain and more sinning."[/i]
He began to walk back towards Ethan, sighing softly. They both probably had different points of views. Yes, Relic saw some form of logic behind Ethan's words. However, Relic saw more logic in his reasoning. Maybe he was just not seeing it in the right light. But, he wasn't ready to try. It was against his every morals. God forbid he'd ever kill again. Not without high reasoning behind it. Never.
