Sieg whistled as he worked on some of his latest ideas. He had been able to secure an empty classroom in the Academy and had turned it into his personal laboratory. He was currently tinkering with his mana bomb idea, so far he hadn't been able to get a big enough explosion out of them. Sieg was sure it was a problem with the fuse, the mana and his homemade explosive mixture clearly weren't igniting the way he had intended.
Banging, hissing, clanging, and flashes of light could been seen and heard coming from the room. Sieg had been at it for several hours now and still wasn't able to get it exactly how he wanted it. It angered him but at the same time it fueled him, Sieg found it almost impossible to let go of a project once it started to challenge him. He was lost in his own world as he continued to work, oblivious to his surroundings or anyone who might be peering into the dingy old classroom to see what the source of the light and noises were.
There was a tremendously loud explosion as Sieg was thrown out of the room. The door was blown of it's hinges and in splintered pieces on the ground. Sieg hit the wall with a soft thud, covered in soot an ash. His goggles were completely black and his head hung limp as if he were unconcious. Suddenly his head shot up with an odd grin and a laugh, his white teeth stood out starkly in comparison to his blackened face. Atticus stumbled out shaking it's head.
"Haha! It worked...now we've just got to control the blast...I can't have it going out off whenever it feels like it," he said with a laugh as he jumped to his feet, giddy about his success. That was when the dizziness hit him, he shook his head, steadying himself by placing a hand on the wall, "Woah...that...that can't be good," he said, starting to breath heavily.
