Look who's back (Phae)

[Junpei]

Junpei watched as she got up and started to go to work. She was an amazing cook and he couldn't believe how incredibly talented she was. Cook, clean, fighter, lover, wife to be, friend, she was amazing. Junpei wondered if he would ever get over seeing here, every time he saw her he felt better, like nothing mattered when she was there.

Getting up himself Junpei walked over to the fridge as Phae started in on her work. With any luck she wouldn't see what he was doing and be surprised when she got he chance. Pulling out a variety of vegetables and some flour, eggs, milk, and seasonings Junpei set to work on his own dish. Vegetable tempura.

Hearing her words he slipped as he cut a zukinin in half and almost took off his thumb. He dropped the knife he was holding and gulped, trying to think.

Did she just ask.. yeah.. but... oh god.

"Umm..."

Turning around Junpei slipped his arms around erh waist and set his head on her shoulder.

"Whenever you want. I don't care if it's tomorrow or five years or an eternity. I will wait for as long as you need Phaedra."

He smiled and kissed her neck, thinking that was a good answer. A truthful answer, and it was. Going back to his own food Junpei finished cutting up the vegetables and got he batter ready, time for the fun. Dipping the veggies into the bater he would then Nether Fire the food and make it light and crispy, just the way it should be.

[Phae]

Phae felt his arms around her and she froze. Listening to his words she smiled softly. But that wasn't really an answer was it. She felt him kiss her neck and leave to go back to whatever it was he was doing some sort of Japanese thing was all she knew. She rubbed her forehead as she sat some of the cook sausages aside and thought about it for a moment.

She chewed on her lower lip and sighed for a moment as she looked up and then back down looking at her rings.

"What I mean is. When did you want to marry and start a family? I .. I know we're not back to what we once were but that doesn't mean my dreams have fallen to the side. I want.. to have a family it means more to me than magic or school or anything. I.. want to know what you think." she said softly.

She resumed chewing on her lip. They had never really talked about this stuff. It was going to happen 'one day' but right now she needed answers and she needed them now. Or at least a promise to talk about it more seriously in a few. She had to know where they stood as a engaged couple.

[Junpei]

Junpei stopped as the last piece of tempura hit the plate they were to be served on. He sighed and turned around, his hands gripping the edge f the counter in the kitchen he moved forward and slipped his hands around her back, looking down at her he answered her softly.

"Phaedra, I want us to finish up school here first, I want us to know that we wont have to put our lives on held for our children, I want them to get our full attention when they're here. I want to marry you as soon as you're ready, but I don't want to have to focus on children and school at once. I can't know how safe they'll be here, I just can't."

Kissing her forehead he smiled down at her and then spoke again, this time even softer.

"I do know one ting though, if you want to eave this all behind and just go, just move to Germany, I would be happy to live with the magic I have now. I love you Phaedra."

[Phae]

Phae smiled softly as he put his arms around her and she looked up meeting his gaze. It was probably not the best day to be talking about starting a family or anything but it was still something they had never fully discussed and why not talk about it now while they were being honest. She sighed softly.

He wanted to finish school. That would take a long time. This was an academy that didn't have strict graduation schedules. She assumed you just left when you were ready or when the Headmaster threw you out. There was no set schedule. He told her something else she didn't hear and she turned silently back to the food she was making.

The potatoes were done and she strained them before adding butter and milk. Trying not to think about how long it would be before they started a family. Grabbing the masher she began to mash her potatoes by hand and working out her fustrations in them instead of anywhere else. Her red hair fell into her face as she mashed them good and hard making them perfect as she liked them.

[Junpei]

"Phae, do you want to have a family now?"

He said as he nuzzled the back of her neck softly, pushing threw her hair to the bare skin. IF she wanted a family now he would gladly agree to it, but he was worried. What would they do about space, they could move into babylos and get a house there, or move back to the states fora while and live with Negi while Junpei finished out school. Junpei wanted to go on to be a great sorcerer, to do something special for the magical community. He had dreams of going on to write books about dark magic, of having a family he could spend his days with and Phae to spend his nights with. He wanted all of that, but in order for it to happen he had to finish out school here at Arcane.

"You know I want to go into a magical career Phaedra, be it research or a Tracker or whatever, I want to do something for the entire magical community. I want you to be happy though. Tell me, do you want a family now...?"

Junpei kissed the back of her neck and held her close, trying to make all the confusion and her pain go away. He wanted to know if she wanted a family now, to get married tomorrow and start a family soon.

[Phae]

Phae heard his question and felt him nuzzling into her. He could always win her over easily and he knew it. But this was a subject that meant a lot to her and he knew it. She stopped mashing the potoatoes before they turned to soup and turned around in his arms letting him finish speaking. She bit her lower lip knowing that even if she wanted to start a family tomorrow he wasn't ready and she wasn't going to force him into that. She was only sixteen but that mattered little at the moment.

"Jun, I want nothing more in this world than to marry and have children. I want a large family filled with laughter and happiness. I want them to grow up knowing about magic and being comfortable with it. I want to be the mom that stays home while my husband goes off to work. I want to be the kind of wife that is there when my husband needs her and when he leaves he knows that his children are in good hands." she began.

"I can tell you aren't ready for children. To be frank, I am. I know that we aren't back to what we used to be. And I know that it will take time. I'm not asking for a marriage tomorrow and children next week. But I am ready Junpei. I know I"m young but it may sound stupid but I'm ready for that next step with you. I want us both to have everything that we ever wanted. And if you want to wait longer that's fine. But you should know that, the moment you're ready I am. Because, I want, to be your wife." she said softly.

She hugged him gently and lay her head on his shoulder as she closed her eyes. This was where she belonged. In his arms. Talking about their future.

[Junpei]

Junepi listened carefully as Phaedra faced him and explained what was going on, how she felt, what she wanted. She was ready for children, was ready to just stay home and not go to the academy anymore. She was ready to be everything he wanted and everything she wanted. She was ready to start their family. he almost kissed her but held off. She was ready, but he wasn't. How was she still with him.

"I'm so sorry Phaedra. I want to have a family with you, but I know I have to finish out school here... there's one possibility... if we... moved into a house here in Babylos... I could still go to school and we could *gulp* have a family together."

He didn't know what to do here, he so badly wanted to be with her he would do anything for her, and if it meant moving from the school that was fine, he could do that.

"I want you to be happy Phaedra, just tell me what you truly want right now."

[Phae]

She listened to his words and smiled softly. She turned back around moving away from him as she grabbed two plates and put a lot of potatoes and sausage on each and then crumbled some up on a plate for Del. She sat Del's food on the floor in the kitchen as she thought about what she wanted to say to him.

"Jun, I can tell you aren't ready. It's in your voice. I'll wait. Just.. don't make me wait too long. I don't want to start a family with you when you aren't ready for one. I know we're young and have a lot of time yet to worry about marriage and a family. So don't worry about it."

She placed the food on a tray and went to the fridge and grabbed a coke for herself and some water for Jun. She placed them on the tray and headed back to the bed and sat down with the tray in her lap.

"Come on lets eat, you said you were hungry." she said with a soft smile as she began to eat her mashed potatoes.

[Junpei]

Junpei felt her slip away from hr and could already feel the disappointment in her voice and in her touch. She was so ready and he was scared. How could he possibly be good for her? He didn't know how he could possibly make this up to her, had no idea how he could ever make it up to her that he had let her down.

Moving over to the bed he sat down and set into his own food and a bit of vegetable tempura which he had brought over. He ate quietly, thinking to himself about what he really wanted in life.

I don't know if I can balance a family and a life with school and being a Tracker or researcher or whatever.

[glow=blue,2,300]NO, you are. I can tell from here Junpei Taltos, you love her but you're afraid you'll run away again, or you''ll hurt her again and loose that family. For god's sake Junpei just marry the woman and have a family, she's your fiance' isn't she?[/glow]

Then how am I supposed to feel safe?!

Junpei cut the connection and dropped his forkful of sausage.

"Phaedra... if we moved to Babylos... would you mind if I put in a room like we have here?"

[Phae]

Phae ate silently as Junpei seemed silent himself. She rubbed her eyes and ate her potatoes and Delana came up to her used to eating out of Phae's hand. She chuckled at the little Jhereg and kissed it's nose gently.

"You're food is in the kitchen. Remember we discussed that mommy can't feed you all the time. You're a big girl, I already cut it up for you." she said.

*squeak*

"Go on now." she said as Del took off from the bed and glided into the kitchen where she began to munch happily from the plate that Phae had sat down for her. Phae went back to eating her lunch when Junpei suddenly spoke.

She looked up at him her eyes wide in shock as he asked her if they moved if he could have a room just like this. She droped her fork that went plop right into her mashed potatoes.

"Junpei Taltos, you can have any room you like. Do you really mean.. what I think.. you mean?" she whispered softly as she just stared at him in disbelief.

[Junpei]

"Yes, it does mean what you think, I'll find a house later tonight."

Looking over at her he smiled, it finally made sense thanks to Zandra, she had put it into perspective for him. Phaedra would be happy if she was in a place where she had her own place to grow. Where they could have a family that could grow and flourish in Bablos for the time being.

He wasn't so worried anymore, he was more wondering what kind of a house they would have. He had one pictured in his mind, a very simple house but elegant. He wondered if she would like the fact he was already planning out every room.

"How about a three bedroom two bath, enough for a guest room and for room to grow... an office.. a library, kitchen and an aviary for the Jheregs..."

[Phae]

Her eyes just lit up. Quickly she put the tray of food at the foot of the bed and straddled his lap as he began to talk about the specs of the house they might get. She sat there listening and her eyes just welled up with the happiest most joyful tears her face telling him how happy she was with the smile.

"Sounds perfect." she whispered. "I want a big family one day but for now a modest house is perfect for us especially while we're still studying until I have children then I'll stay at home." she said softly.

She moved his plate of food to the side as she leaned in and kissed him passionatly on the lips. This was like a dream come true for her. They were going to start their own family and life would never be the same. She broke the kiss.

"Junpei Taltos I love you." she whispered as she hugged him tightly nearly bouncing with excitement in his lap. She was so happy. Never in her life had she been so excited except when he told her to marry him so very long ago.

[Junpei]

Chuckling softly as she bounced in his lap he almost lost it as with every bounce her chest rubbed against his. he smiled softly as she continued. He was so happy right now, so happy he could keep both their dreams alive and keep both of them happy. The were very similar yes, but at the same time they were so very different and now... now they would have their very own place to retreat to at the end of the day, where they could hide away from everyone in and off school grounds.

"I love you to Phaedra."

He whispered in her ear as he softly kissed just below her ear. HE was hungry now, hungry for her again as he was a little while ago, but he wouldn't take it that far. He was just going to tease her for now, like he always did when she got excited and he wanted to capitalize on it,

"Why don't we start looking tomorrow afternoon, for now... we should probably find a way to celebrate huh?"

[Phae]

She moaned as he kissed her ear. She shivered softly. She wanted him so badly right now. They were going to be able to start a family and have a house. Living together like a married couple off campus and in their own place. She couldn't have been happier ever. He whispered into her ear and she smiled softly.

She smiled and kissed him passionatly. Love that was what was in this kiss. It was to make love not to just have sex like they had done earlier. She pulled him down ontop of her by moving around a bit and held him tightly. Her hands went under his tshirt and ran up and down his body. She moaned softly. She was so turned on right now. He was giving her, her dream and she could never thank him enough except by giving him his own.

"Jun.." she moaned as she quickly removed his shirt and ran her hands over his body. She was so happy right now. Nothing in this world could change her mind ever.

[Junpei]

Junpei gasped as she ran her hands under his t shirt and began to scratch down his chest. he would have red marks there tomorrow. A few seconds later he was laying on top of her and she was driving him wild with desire. His hands easily lifted when she took off his shirt and he smiled down at her. She was moaning now and he was loosing it, he had to have her. His hands worked her shirt off her head and he was already so heated he was on top of her more. His chest pressed to hers and he kissed her deeply and lovingly. He slowly slid a hand down to slide under the hem of her pants and spur her on more, he was going to make her every dream come true, one way or another.

"God I love you Phaedra."

He continued to spur her on and his own body was causing him to want hi pants off now. this was way past sex this was pure unbridled love and they would probably be skipping the next several hours of their lives in order to fulfill that feeling.

His hand came back up and he ran a hand threw her hair, gods he wanted her right now.
