A New Neko(Open)

[Kit]

Kit started up the stairs to the academy his violet eyes darting around a little. To say he was nervous was an understatement, he was actually pretty frightened. Not frightened of being hurt or away from home but frightened of being alone again. The first time he remembered being alone was when he was little and the disease took his parents. After that he was never really alone because he had lived in an orphanage, but now he was truly alone.

Dear...you're never really alone a bubbly but mischevious voice in his head told him.

Now Lilith you know I know that, he replied a bit irritably, It's just this is a big place and I don't know anyone, it's a bit overwhelming he said with a sigh as he opened one of the door.

The place was huge and Kit felt totally out of place and overwhelmed. He needed time to collect himself so he did what he always did when he needed to calm down he sat down on the side of the hallway and pulled out his pen and sketchbook. Kit started drawing and could feel himself starting to calm down.

Let me come out, I want to see the Academy too Lilith's voice whined at the back of his head.

You promise you'll be good?he asked with an agitated sigh

Of course! she replied with a giggle. Kit shook his head as he started sketching her and slowly she started to fade into existance behind him. She could never really keep a promise as she sat behind Kit and hugged him tightly from behind, "Ooh my little Kitty's all grown up and is out on his own for the first time!" she said with a laugh.

"H-hey knock out off," he protested as she started to hug him and affectionately nuzzle into his neck like a pet, "C'mon Lilith stop it.." he said with a faint blush, "You know I hate that dumb nickname you gave me!" he said, trying to pull free but she wouldn't let him go.

[Aurora]

It was the afternoon and she was walking through the halls of the academy trying to find something to do. Something to inspire her next idea. She loved her sewing it was her passion and she enjoyed it but right now she was at a loss for what to do and she needed some kind of inspir...

..ooh my little Kitty's all grown up...

Aurora's eye brows rose as she turned to look in the direction of the boy. She had only seen one cat here so far and it had been a girl with a bushy tail. However, this was a boy and it seemed his girlfriend getting a bit.. happy in the hallway.

That's just gross.. can't they go.. somewhere else?

She sighed softly and tucked her short blonde hair behind her ears as she looked at a coat of arms that hung on a tapestry above. She smiled. It was the acadmy coat of arms and she loved it. Pulling out a small pad and pencil from her hidden pocket in her skirt that was reminescient of what Yuna wore in FFX II and began sketching the coat.

[Kit]

"Gah, see I knew this would happen," Kit said as he finally freed himself from her grip and stood up, "You never behave yourself when I let you out," he said with a huff as he pressed his pen to the page and started to absorb the mana from the sketch he had drawn of her to bring her out.

"Spoil sport...you're no fun," she said with an annoyed huff, crossing her arms over her chest and sticking out her tongue as she faded back into his mind.

He noticed a girl sketching the Academy's coat of arms who had looked his way. Kit automatically blushed faintly and wondered what he should do. She had probably seen Lilith hugging him and what not like she liked to do, to get him embrassassed and flustered.

Don't be a wuss...just go talk to her, Lilith's voice sounded in the back of his head, a little naggingly. Kit tenatively approached the girl, he was definitely meek. The first thing he wanted to do was apologize for Lilith's behavior.

"Um, excuse me miss," he said softly as he walked up next to her, "I am, erm sorry for my summon's behavior, she normally enjoys making me look like a fool," he said with a sheepish blush, "I saw you sketching the coat of arms here...are you an artist too?" He asked with a meek expression of innocent curiosity, "See I'm an artist too..." he said, holding out his sketchpad which was full of all sorts of various drawings.

[Aurora]

She smiled over at the boy when he came over. It was like straight out of an anime the whole ears thing. She wondered if he had a tail or not but she wasn't going to check out his butt so that wasn't something she was going to look into just yet. He spoke to her and she looked up from her drawing.

"I suppose in a way I am. I quilt and sew and I was looking for a new idea and I thought it would be neat to incorporate this coat of arms into something." she said with a smile.

He had called the girl his summon and not his girlfriend and as she had just up and disappeared she assumed he was correct. Closing her little book she slipped it and her pencil into her pocket before she began leafing through the sketch pad he had shown her. Each drawing was amazing and she smiled softly handing it back.

"You're truly talented." she said softly as she looked into his eyes. "I'm Aurora." she told him.

[Kit]

"Thank you...they're not great or anything but I mean I like drawing..." Kit said smiling nervously. It was clear he had didn't often interact with others as he seemed rather jumpy and flustered as he talked to the girl. Kit also seemed to be overcritical of himself but that was out of nervousness too not wanting to want to look arrogant or overly confident in his abilities as an artist.

"Oh I forgot to introduce myself, I'm sorry.." He said hurrying to apologize as he blushed a little again, "I'm Kit...it's nice to meet you Aurora. That's a very pretty name if you don't mind me saying," he said grinning embarassedly as he felt his cheeks flush again, "I'm sorry I seem so nervous...I just, I'm not very used to talking to people...I think I might have social anxiety..." he said softly, looking down a little right now feeling like somewhat of a freak.

"It was nice to have met you Miss Aurora..I'll stop bothering you now and let you get back to your sketching," Kit said with a nod as he started to walk away feeling like he had totally blown the whole meeting a new friend thing.

Cloché sighed exhaustedly. This place was too big, much more bigger than the monestries she’s lived in before. She had gotten through the day trip-free! Well, ‘cept for once when she was getting out of bed but that wasn’t during the day so it was not counted. She smiled proudly to herself, she was actually quite well behaved and for that, she light patted herself on the head as her older brother used to do. She shook in delight and jumped into the air a bit as she traveled onward, her arms at her sides and her view went to the sky.
{Even though we’re in the sky I can still see clouds...} she though to herself and smiled. The sky had always gave her comfort no matter where she was. Maybe it was the calm air of it, or maybe it was the subconscious feeling that her brother might be staring up at that same sky. She nodded to herself and had just past Kit without any incident.

But, she stopped. She had seen it in the corner of her eye. Her hand immedietly went to his ear and began rubbing it.
“Ah..Soft!” She spun around so that she was now facing him from the side and proceeded to rub both ears at the same time with two hands.
“Ah~C’est magnifique!” she groaned in her rapture of it all.

[Kit]

Kit had his head bowed a little as he had been walking away from Aurora. He had just completely blown any chance he had at making friends with her. She probably thought he was a total freak and a shy loser. Kit shrugged a little, what was he going to do, that's what he was. It did not bother him much anymore, he was getting used to the whole lonliness thing. Besides he was never truly alone, he had Lilith if he ever need companionship. Though he did have to admit it would not hurt have a broader range of friends and people to be acquainted with than just her.

He sighed softly his head down a little as he looked up to see another girl pass him. Another girl he'd never get to know, he thought as he sighed again and shook his head a little. But strangely enough just as soon as she passed him she turned around and came back. Suddenly she was petting his ear, exclaiming how soft they were. Then she groaned as she started stroking both his ears. Damn it felt good, Kit couldn't remember the last time someone had pet his ears. He couldn't resist and purred gently as she stroked his ears.

"It's um...it's nice to meet you too miss," he said as he closed his eyes and reveled in the feeling of her hands on his ears.

[Roy Atenwood]

Well, as Roy walked through the grounds of the Academy, lost as ever, he had run into a few things that suprised him. Lizard-People, Elves, and other races he never thought he'd see mingle together. In his experiance, most people hated any race other than humans.

Of course, a Half-Elf really had no place to be suprised. After all, his ears stuck out from the sides of his head a full five inches, and a ponytail down to his waist. He turned heads, but for the wrong reasons. He was just plain odd-looking.

Then he saw what looked like a girl scratching a Neko's ears. He took a bit of a double take, and struggled not to laugh, until he remembered how weird he was. Then he heard the girl groan, and say something in french. He couldn't help himself, and his small frame shook with laughter, as he realized the absurdity of the situation.

Then he realized how loud he was laughing.

"Oh man....dude...sorry about that. Umm...I mean....damnit."

Roy felt like crap, now. Complete and utter crap.

[smiley]

From the other end of the hallway quiet music was begining to approach. The closer it came the louder it got and after a while you could see a jester dancing through the hallway approaching you.
He was both juggling and dancing through the hallway and after a while he ended up by you.
He put all the balls together so they became one which he squeezed together. When he opened his hand again it was gone.
Then he saw Cloche rubbing Kits ears. He began to move around them to see it from different angles and made it all look really ridiculous.
Then he asked Cloche:

"May I try? It seems fun!"

[cloche]

Cloché though, was quite not herself at the moment. Well, she was, but she was much too occupied with her ecstatic pleasure rubbing something as soft and cute as cat ears. She had never had a pet; the nuns would never let her keep any for allergic reasons. Yet she yearned for soft things, so this was a treat.

Cloché groaned again, mumbling a little something else in French then felt a swish at her legs. She looked down, still petting the ears, and gasped in delight at the tail she saw. She then frowned and looked at her hands, still rubbing his ears. She then let go of her left, with a slight pout, and gently slid it down his tail.

I mean, the way she touches his tail is the same. I would like for the reaction to be somewhat the same but that's your choice ^^

Roy ignored the jester, and felt a little less crappy when nobody noticed his laughing. He looked thoughtfully at the two, the Neko, and the girl rubbing his ear and....errr...tail.

Odd. Very odd.

He walked over, and looked at the Neko-Boy. In a rather friendly tone of voice, he said "Looks like you made a new friend, eh?"
