Aurora had come back. Gone? Yes, she had been but only because she had found another set of daggers. And now she was getting closer to the complete set that would definatly enable her to be as powerful as she could be. Probably be able to then develop her runic skills but for right now she was using the base spells in the daggers that she carried.
She was dressed in a soft powder blue sweater that hugged her perfect curves her daggers hidden beneath her clothing and a pair of pale blue jeans. Over her blue jeans were cute tan snow boots with fur trim and around her neck was a pale yellow scarf made of yarn that hung loose down her small body. She sauntered into the courtyard. Her short silken blonde hair hung down brushing her shoulders as she looked around. Once again she was back at the academy and she was going to stay this time.
She sat down on the bench that over looked the city below and pulled her left leg up to her chest bent at the knee and looked down at the city. She liked it here though. She leaned into her knee slightly and placed her chin on her knee her arm holding her leg in place. Now if only she could make some friends and perhaps get on with her life. She smiled softly. It was going to be a relatively boring day she had a feeling.

"Sure is something, ain't it?"
Two hands landed upon the back of the bench, just to the side of where Aurora was sitting. Attached to the hands were, of course, one Richard Price, who had strolled out, coincidentially, in the same direction. He, like she, was dressed for the occasion, with his long-sleeved leather coat pulled together and bound tight about his waist with the studded belt usually worn around his wrist. There was a little smirk on his face, as one would expect from Price, of course, but, at the same time, it wasn't the usual 'I'm better than you' one he tended to wear. This particular grin seemed a bit warmer, a slight bit more personable than what most were accustomed to from him.
Price, as it were, had been out for a relatively early morning walk, exploring the outer reaches of the Academy. He had, in this particular excursion, not only found a bench with a great view of the city, but also a cute girl as well. With a grin, Price had approached her and placed his originally stated words, followed quickly thereafter by another set.
"Come out here often, or did I just get lucky?"
A quick spasm of doubt hit Price, causing him to bite his lip for just a moment upon hearing his own last word, reminding him of the pain he'd faced only a month or so beforehand. Mentally shaking it off, however, the regular Price shone through again, as he turned his head to face the other girl, that same little grin on his face he always wore.

"Indeed it is, rather breathtaking I'll admith." she said softly in response to the rather suave voice that came up behind her.
She looked up in time to see a rather cute boy coming about the bench. Aurora blushed softly because she wasn't used to being confronted. Had been by two boys at prom but that hadn't turned into anything and this one.. well he was really good looking and had a nice personality as well. She didn't like shy guys Aurora was a go getter and she wanted a man that was the same.
She chuckled at what he asked her. ASking her if she was here all the time or if he was just lucky to have stumpbled upon her this morning. She looked over at him her blue eyes were bright and happy as she tucked her blonde hair nervously behind her ears.
"Lucky apparently. I just really got to the academy. I went to prom but then I had to leave to take care of something. So now I"m back, for real this time. So as this will probably become an every morning thing since it's so beautiful out here. You are lucky today, but tomorrow.. well tomorrow it would be a date." she chuckled.
She leaned back in the bench and sighed softly as she looked over at the boy next to her. He had that look about him that he was good at what he did and he knew it. She almost chuckled at how he exuded self esteem and confidence. It was really nice to meet a man that was like that she had to admit.
"However, I would have to be the lucky one. Seeing as you seem to be comfortable where you sit perhaps you come here often. So maybe in my lacking of companions and friends fate threw us together." she chuckled softly.
"My name is Aurora. And yours?" she asked softly extending a hand to him.

"Richard Price. Most people just call me Price." He grinned as he accepted the proffered hand, shaking it cordially and lightly, as his father had taught him to when greeting a lady. With much more ado, however, his hand returned to the back of the bench as he vaulted over it, landing in a sitting position next to the girl, another smirk on his face.
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Aurora. And as far as my coming here, I've likely to have been to this particular spot about as many times as you have, to be honest. I just kinda strolled by here myself, saw someone sitting, and thought I'd stop by and say hi. I guess I'm just one of those people who are comfortable no matter where they are, y'know?"
Maybe Price wasn't totally honest, as he still had not yet found himself to be at 'home', per se, at the Academy, but regardless, he wasn't completely uncomfortable here, so he felt okay with his words.
"However, I ain't so sure I believe in Fate. I make my own luck and decide my own Fate. I came out here and met you because I wanted to, not because I was driving along by some power outside of my control."
Price leaned back in the seat and shrugged, grinning over at Aurora.
"Speaking of being out here, just why is it that you're here, anyway? Couldn't sleep? Never went to sleep? Morning person?"

Price. Well that was an interesting name. She could see herself calling him that. His real name was a bit old fashioned and normal. So far she hadn't met ANYONE here with a normal name maybe it was the magic or somethng that made people want to give their children weird names upon birth but here was one Richard Price and he was magical and normal for what she could tell at any rate.
"Well it's nice to meet you Price." she said with a smile.
With a flourish and a trademark grin she could already see he leapt over the bench and sat down next to her. She blushed a bit more because he was .. well so close. He told her that he didn't come here often and that he didn't believe in fate. She smiled at that and nodded. She did, she guessed, but it wasn't something she thought about frequently it was more something that people said when random things just happened.
"Very well then, you came here to meet me. Whatever for? Some lonely blonde seamstress and you come allll the way out here in the early morning and just decide to come chat with me, a girl you never met before, because well hey.. it's fun right?" she asked. He then asked her why she was here and she smiled.
"Honestly, my room is lonely and I guess I was hoping to finally meet someone here. Besides the fact that I'm really not a morning nor a night person it depends on my life at the moment. If I'm working on a project or something I pull all nighters. But if I need to train I'm up really early. So I'm really spastic I guess I just go with the flow. Let my life flow and I flow right with it." she chuckled.
"And what do you do here at the academy? And why were you walking out so early in the morning? Early person? Late person? The questions could go on and on but I think I'll let you answer these first." she chuckled as her eyes locked on his.

Price listened quietly to her speak, soaking in the words as they left her lips. At the appropriate times, he nodded, letting her know that he wasn't just pretending to hear her talk. However, a question was finally asked back his way, after she had answered all of his, and Price, in response, casually looked up to the morning sky to think on it for a moment or two before finally responding.
"Me? I'm here for the same reasons most everyone is here, or at least the one I figure: To learn. I was taught all that could be taught of my own particular... 'craft', I suppose, back on the ground. The only place I could go to further my studies seemed to be here. My, um, heritage, I suppose, really prevented me from the only other place I've heard of that could've helped."
Another shrug and smirk punctuated his statement, followed by a little yawn. As much of a morning person as Price could be, it was still pretty early, and on his day off. Thus, it was unavoidable that he would yawn.
"I'm out here on a walk, just because I didn't have anything else to do this morning. Normally, I'd sleep in today, but it seems my internal clock had some issues with that, so there I was, awake in bed, and now, well... here I am."
"Let me guess..." Price brought up suddenly, quickly changing the subject out of nowhere. "You're a...." he raised his left hand from it's perch, formerly his with his elbows leaning up on the back of the bench, to hold his index finger in front of her, trying to guess her powers. "... an alchemist. Yeah.... alchemy. Am I right?"

Aurora smiled. He really didn't seem to be that much of a morning person when he began yawning like that. It sparked a chain reaction and she returned his yawn with one of her own. Then she chuckled a small blush crossing her features. She smiled as he told her that whatever it was he trained in there was no further places to go with his nationality.
He suddenly sat up a little and pointed his index finger at her. She chuckled as he tried to guess her magic style. She laughed. See now that was funny because if he had payed attention to her hand when he shook it he would at least know weapons were involved. She sighed softly.
"Ennnnnt. Wrong answer. So sorry Mr. Price but that just isn't going to cut it today. Well Bob, shall we show Mr. Price what he has lost on our Game Show of Horrible Guessing? Sure thing Bill lets do just that. Well Bob it seems that Mr. Price has indeed lost our game today. With that he lost the keys to the new convertable waiting in the parking lot. But don't go just yet Mr. Price.." she chuckled and held up her own finger. "Because your answer was so close but not close enough you get a consilation prize!! Yes, that's right one prize that you can ask anything of the crazed blonde girl next to you and within reason you will be awarded!!! Cue applause." she chuckled.
Wacky? At times yes but it was fun and she was hoping to see more of that good natured smirk if not a full on smile.
"If you don't pick quickly the crazy blonde will pick herself and you NEVER know what that will be."

Price raised an eyebrow at Aurora's sudden transformation into a game show host. It was sudden, unexpected, and brought an amused smirk to Price's lips. He listened intently to her suddenly start her rant, about how he had guessed wrong, which he mentally cursed himself for. Even with as long as he had been here, he still hadn't managed to be able to pinpoint other's powers yet. Mentally adding to his 'to-do' list to pay more attention, he thought more on the 'prize' that Aurora had 'given' him by letting him ask another question of her.
"Alright, well then, Vanna," Price said, clearly mixing up his game shows, but not caring, "do you prefer showers or bubble baths?"
Price smirked, clearly impressed with himself. He'd hoped that he'd catch her off guard with such a question, considering it was almost a complete one-eighty from the last line of questioning. He leaned back, awaiting her answer.

Aurora chuckled softly. Vanna ver nice touch. She had been a bit thrown off by his question. What would it mean if she chose one or the other. What in the world would he do should she say something crazy like showers with bubbles instead or bathing in a waterfall. How about them apples. She thought about what she wanted to say and then smirked.
"Well now that all depends. Now if I'm alone and I've been training all day, shower. But if I'm with a special someone a bath might be nice. Then again a shower too. But not sure guess I'd have to go off the guys personality. See you got the shower guy look to you. Quick in quick out and move on to next order of business."
She smiled at him. Take that Mr. Price. Trying to catch me off guard. But she had seen another one of those smirks and she liked them. So it was her turn. She sat up and took his hand gently in hers flattening it out and looking at his palm as if deciding something.
"You will live a long life, love is in your future, three children." she said reading the lines having been taught once how to read the lines in ones hand. She smiled as she ran her hand over his hand gently and then made eye contact with him.
"You use a sword." she said softly as she forgot that his hand was in hers at all and locked her eyes with his getting lost in his depths. "You um.. you.. and.. the.. martial arts.. and.. right.." she whispered softly swallowing hard. What the hell was going on with her. First of all he had to think she was nuts and second he probably thought she was some crazed lunitic and he was going to just up and leave her alone once more. Sigh.. so much for being the fun quirky girl.

Price smiled appreciatively at her answer, but then cocked an eyebrow as she then went on to not only attempt to decipher his own personal hygenic habits, but then, taking his hand, decided to try and tell him his own future by the lines on his palm.
"You will live a long life, love is in your future, three children."
She said to him, which almost brought about a smart-ass reply, until another sudden outburst was wrenched from her lips:
"You use a sword..."
It was at this point that, to Price, the girl seemed to suddenly realize just where she was, what she was doing, and, most importantly, that she not only had his hand in hers, but just recovered from being lost in his eyes. Both eyebrows of Price's raised, and a jocular smile crossed his face as he slowly, gingerly took his hand away from Aurora. It wasn't a jerky 'get your hand away from mine' move, but more of a subtle shift. Personally, Price was hoping to lower the sudden awkwardness of the situation by removing that physical link. However, it didn't seem to be working.
"Yeah... martial arts. But I never told you about that. Funny how you knew... been reading my files, Aurora? Or more likely, you've seen me perform back on the planet?"
Price raised an eyebrow, regarding her quizzically, as if interrogating her on the knowledge she spoke with little to no way of knowing it. A grin was on his face, this Aurora girl was intriguing, to say the least, and he wanted to see just how she'd worm her way out of this one.
