So it's Christmas... Feels so empty. No family, Melfice or Krystel. Thought Rakel as he woke up and got out of bed and dressed in his normal attire. He considered staying in his dorm today but decided against it. Instead he grabbed his long scarf givent o him by Krystel and wrapped it around his lower face and neck then walked out the door leaving his weapon behind.
He made his way through the Academy not seeing a single person. Not surprising as it was about 3:20 a.m. Rakel made his way to the courtyard and then looked up seeing no snow falling. He gave a sigh then held his right hand up with his palm facing the sky. Soon an area of a fifty foot radius started frosting over and the light drizzle from the sky turned into a small flurry in the area Rakel affected. After a few minutes he stopp and had his eye closed with his head tilted forward and a smile on his face.
I might not always be with them. But at least they can always be with me like this. I guess thats enough to be happy. He thout standing there finally able to show he was happy for the holiday season.

Smiley hadn't been able to sleep and had gotten bored very quickly. So he decided to get up and take a walk to see if there were anyone to talk or play with. Since it was that time of the year his as usually colorfull clothes were green and read. They were also a bit warmer than otherwise. After getting dressed he skipped out onto the grounds. After hopping around for a while without meeting anyone he got a bit bored and took a couple of burning torches out of the thin air and made a happy flute sound as he juggled and skipped around hoping that someone would see them and come and play with him. After a while he couldn't help but to sing as well. The song didn't make much sense, but neither did his dance. And he sung about snowflakes. Soon he could see someone standing alone so he danced towards him.
