Well maybe if I... bah dead end. Hmm maybe this hallway... nope. Why is there no one here, I'm gonna be lost forever uhh
Kinayal Xanté, the new kid, on his first day at the biggest structure he'd ever seen. You can imagine he was having some trouble navigating the hallways of such an enormous place, at least in his opinion. After never navigating any public building beyond a basic two corridors, Kinayal had never developed a sense of navigation and this was not something they could teach easily in the medial center where he was taught things the average toddler knows when he himself was an old child.
Kinayal hadn't ever used a map before and so even if he had one, it probably wouldn't do much help to him unfortunately. What would help him was a guide or luck. Unfortunately it would seem he didn't have either of these. What he did have was persistence and after navigating several hallways he stumbled upon the cafeteria. Of course that was not at all where he was headed, he wanted to get outside somehow but a public gathering spot would hopefully contain someone who knew how to get out.
Kinayal looked around, trying to see anyone he knew but considering he knew 5 people of his own age and none of them attended the academy, his search didn't end up with any results. Instead he walked over to an empty table, looking confused and bored but still carrying a naive smile that seemed to follow him almost everywhere. So there he sat, alone at a table with no one to talk too and not exactly confident enough to walk over to someone and ask them how to get out. Kinayal sat back in the chair and crossed his legs, closing his eyes slightly and letting the smile fade to a casual expression.
