Walking out of the teleporter and down the steps into the bright lobby of the Arcane Academy. Standing there in the middle of the lobby Eric tilted his head around and stared at the walls and the magnificent artwork.
So this is the place I will be training in…it’s…bright.
Opening his right hand Eric looked down it and stares at a little piece of paper that was his schedule for the time being. Then looking up again Eric placed his right hand into his coat pocket, and moved his left hand onto the strap of his book bag.
In a low monotone voice Eric then said to himself, “Well lets see what kind of people are here.”

"Great...Just, fucking great." Tristan grumbled. He had a new class, which he was now late for, and he couldn't find the damn thing. He'd been up to the towers and down to the dungeons, so to speak, and he couldn't find the class room any where. "It'd help if these idiot's would put a damn number on the class instead of just the FUCKIN' title." Needless to say, he was getting iritated.
I can't find it any where. Igneus projected, hovering back to his partners shoulder. The black clad man slapped his forehead with a gauntleted hand, and dragged it down his face, knocking off his deep orange sunglasses. He sometimes wondered why the hell he wore the damn things, but then was reminded, when he took them off, that every thing ends up having a glare without them. Not to mention the protection from extremely bright lights, which was important in his line of work.
Putting his glasses back on, the hunter trugged along, now looking for some one to help him.
Being that the last classes had started some twenty minutes prior, there was next to no one in the halls until...
"Hey, You have any idea where the divination classes are? Fuck if I know why the hell I have a divination class, but...." He asked the young man who was standing near the teleporters, only he'd mumbled the latter line. Tristan, a rather ominous figure, entirely clad in black with the pommel of a single edged long sword sticking over his left shoulder, walked up to the boy, and stood waiting for an answer.

Standing near the teleporter looking up at the ceiling Eric was carefully thinking what was going on.
It’s so bright, and quiet…
Before he could even finish thinking a loud irritated voice could be heard approaching him. Tilting his head downwards so it was level, Eric turned his body towards a rather large being. There was something off with his movements that kind of tipped off he was not human, completely, but he did not know why.
Bringing up his right hand up to his face Eric used his index and middle finger to hold up his glasses as he said in a rather calm voice, “I am quite sorry, but I am new here. So I am as lost as you are.”

Tristan sighed, and took a breath, regaining his usual demenor, past his iritation. "Newbie, huh? Well, If you aren't registered, the desks are a floor up." He said, adjusting his footing for more comfort.
"If you are registered, theres a directory...or the equivalent of it, down the hall. 'Course, why the hell the divination classes aren't listed is beyond me." He finished, again, mumbling the last sentance. "Anyway, Tristan Knightrhode." The hunter extended his gauntleted hand in simple pleasantry, as he'd grown more accustomed to doing since being around people on babylos.
I'll go try and find it again...Unless they're fuckin' with you its' got to be here somewhere. The tiny black dragon thought to his partner, and took off from his perch that was the mans right shoulder. It would look like an odd sight, a small black lizard flying off down the hall, but then again, when you were in the world of the arcane, the common was odd, and the odd was common.

Looking carefully at the person in front of him offering a greeting, Eric just stare for a few more seconds getting what other information he can get. After the silent few seconds Eric slowly moved his right hand down and grasped Tristan’s hand in a firm shake.
In his plain voice Eric then said, “Apprentice Enchanter, Eric Hearth at your service.”
Then placing his right hand down to his side Eric looked up to see the dragon fly away, and kept his eyes straight on it without saying another word.
A Black Dragon Whelp? I heard that the where hard to control, and where infuse with dark magic. I need to do more research on this issue later.

"Enchanter huh? I know a master Enchanter. He enchanted my equipment for me." Tristan said, making a gesture to his coat, and referring to his enchanted kevlar vest, bullets, and gauntlets. Though his gauntlets were on his hands, obviously.
"I suppose I'm an elementalist. I try to cover all bases though." The hunter said, then raised his fist, back of his hand toward this Eric Hearth. "Alchemy is a damn good thing if you know what your doing." He spoke again, this time indicating the transmutation circles on his gauntlets which, at the command of a small spurt of mana, glowed in a slight luminescence of blue.
"You need any help? Aside from this new class, I've got this place down for the most part." The crusnik offered, having nothing to do until Igneus had news.

Snapping back to reality looked back at Tristen as he started to show Eric the enchantments he got. It is true that these where from a master enchanter, some day Eric may be able to make somthing close to these, but Eric as of now he has a lot of work he has to do.
In a calm voice Eric then asked Tristan, “There is one thing you can help me with.” After a slight pause Eric continue, “Can you tell me more of that dragon that just flew away? Because you see I heard that dragons are extremely rare, to the point of extinction.”

Tristan wasn't expecting that sort of question, but it was fine. Igneus was no secret, not at all like Tristan's race, not that that was much of a secret anymore in any case. "Him? He's just an ordinary black dragon as far as I know." The crusnik began, "I found him as an egg when I was hunting a lizard demon a couple of years ago. Where he came from, how, when or why...I don't know."
Tristan walked over to lean against a wall. "I could tell you what he does, but thats all I really know about dragon's. Until I found him I didn't even know they existed." Tristan's deep voiced response was finished, unless of course this boy wanted the details. Which was likely at this point.
Igneus flew about, checking into various, normally empty rooms. As a dragon, he couldn't exactly speak with every one he met. Where the hell's that Sebastian kid when you need him?

Watching carefully as Tristan walked towards the wall Eric only turn to face him and did not walk any closer at the moment. With a small detectable smirk Eric then said, “Can you tell me everything you know about your dragon, like how it communicates with you, it’s attack, it’s power, growth rate, and anything else that comes to mind. The more information you give me the better my research will be. “
The first day at his next stage in life and he meets a black dragon. If that dragon is the first thing he is going to see then what could possibly top that. Just thinking about what he would see next was making Eric excited to no end, and manifested itself in his right leg shaking a little.

Tristan returned the smirk. He'd run into people who were just as hungry for knowledge as this boy. For one the young man who'd taught the Crusnik his alchemy. "For one, he can transform." Then after a pause, "That's not his usual size. That size doesn't really grow any, his larger form, which is the size of a decent sized house, grows rather fast."
He adjusted his positioning for comfort as he would be describing things for a while. "In the first year he shot from a few inches tall to over a story, just at the shoulder. After that, his growth slowed down, but he still can go through spurts, like a human. Fire, ofcorse, is his main element, but I'm starting to think that he's an elemental dragon. He pulled a lightning attack out of his ass against a demon one of these times ((haven't wrote this down in spell list, the fight it occured in hasn't finished)).
He has a mana storage. Thats for sure. He had an innate ability to teleport as well, from when he was hatched. We, rider and dragon, go into an empty space that's tremendously cold, and seems that it's only the two of us, and who ever comes along."
Igneus then flew back, and headed in the opposite direction, reporting no luck.
"Flight, obviously. His wingspan is huge, though it seems not to be enough to support him. His scales are nigh impenitrable, the hide is fairly tough as well." Tristan then took a break to think of any thing els to mention. "As for communication, its a form of telepathy. Generally, any psychics can pick up on what he's saying, or more so thinking. I my self seem to have mild telepathy when ever I'm with him, a side effect of the link most likely."
After that he couldn't think of much any thing els, and waited for the response. If Eric had any thing els specific to ask, Igneus still hadn't found the class.

Hearing this information on the dragon Eric immediately pulled out a notebook and started to scribble notes down on it.
Black Dragon-
Transformation- from a size of about a large bird to larger than a house
Growth rate- First year grew from a few inches to over a story, then slowed, but goes through growth spurt.
Attacks- Breathes fire, 1 record account of lightening, possibly more element (Keep eye one)
Teleportation- from current position to empty cold area (possibly Dragon’s Den, Need more observation)
Scales, impenetrable Hide, tough (Need sample)
Telepathy to talk to “rider” and when together rider has recount on minor telepathy power (possible side effects, ask more)
After Tristan had finish talking Eric looked up towards Tristan and then asked, “While he is in that small form, can he perform still breath fire? Also, when he breathes fire are there any special characteristics to it versus say a normal flame from an object like a lighter?”

Tristan watched the boy scribble down the information. He'd seen that in alchemists, but he hadn't known enough Enchanters to predict their behavior, let alone lower level ones. "Yes, and yes. When mana isn't added to it, which it usually is, it looks more like a flame thrower. When small bits of their energy is added, it can be manipulated from a perfect sphere, to a pillar, to a huge wave." He then paused, to let Eric finish what ever notes he was going to jot of that.
"He can't teleport in his smaller form however. He may be able to later, when he's more advanced, but for now he can only do it in full size." Another pause, this time for thinking. "Also, on the teleportation, he can only go where he has a solid image of. If we have no mental image of a place, we can't go there. Whether it be by acurate painting, photo, or having been there before, Igneus needs a mental image of the place he's going to or it won't work."
A final pause and, "It also is easiest to teleport from the air, it's much harder to do while on the ground." And that was it before any thing els was asked.

Attacks- Breathes fire, 1 record account of lightening, possibly more element (Keep eye one)
-Normally like a flamethrower, but with mana it is able to alter the form (Ex: sphere, pillar, wave)
Teleportation- from current position to empty cold area (possibly Dragon’s Den, Need more observation)
-Cannot teleport in small form -Needs solid image of place to perform -Easier to teleport from air vs. ground
As Eric wrote down the information he mumble to himself, “Very interesting indeed.”
Looking up towards Tristan Eric then asked in a polite monotone voice, “Do you think it is possible for me to get a sample of your dragon’s scale along with a demonstration from one of its fire attack?”

Tristan stretched a bit, beginning to not care that he was missing his class. When Eric made his next questions, the hunter scratched his facial hair. "Scales could be a problem. He'd have to shed them and he doesn't do that very often. As for fire, next time he comes around I'll have him show you." Almost as if commanded, Igneus rounded the corner from the area of the teleporters. Still can't find the damn thing. He projected to his partner, hovering infront of the black clad man. [Fuck it...It's not our fault we can't find the class.] Tristan returned, pushing himself off of the wall with a roll of the spine, his long sword scraping against the stone. [Hey. Turn to the side and shoot out some flame. This kids taking notes on you.] Huh?[Just do it.] ...O...K. With that the hovering black dragon turned to his right, and opened his maw. A stream of orange, yellow, and blue flame shot from his mouth in a standard pillar. It was about five inches in diameter, and scorched the wall a couple of yards away. "That good enough?" He asked his Enchanter friend on the opposite side of the pocket flame thrower. Igneus stopped his flame and faced Eric, cocking his head like a dog, thinking, Who's he?

After the dragon had performed its little attack the young enchanter picked up his bag, and started to head towards the wall. As soon as he was several feet away from it Eric stopped in his track and placed his left hand on the wall in the center of the burn markings.
This won’t work.
Taking his left hand off the wall Eric slowly turned around to face the duo he was talking to. Dropping his bag on the ground next to him, Eric then pulled out another notebook and tossed it onto the ground in front of him. In a clear voice Eric then asked, “Can I borrow your weapon, and can you ask your dragon to set that notebook on fire with another attack?”
