Tristan watched Eric walk over to the wall, as did Igneus. An eyebrow was cocked when the request was made. "...O...K." Was the Crusnik's response. A snort of flame was Igneus' as he didn't like being talked around. He'd rather someone speak directly to him, even if he couldn't speak to them in return.
"He's as smart as any human, so you might want to actually talk to him." Tristan then reached up and whipped his single bladed long sword out with a twirl. He tossed it up as though it were nothing but a twig and grabbed it by the blade when it twisted through the air. He took a couple of steps toward Eric and held the titanium and diamond blade out. Being the materials that it was, it wasn't much heavier than your standard steel katana. [Do as he says for now.] And Igneus did such, aiming his mouth for the book on the ground, and shooting a jet of flame, identical to the last.

Gently grabbing hold of the hilt of the sword presented to him with his right hand the young enchanter started to kneel down and held out his left hand towards the burning fire. Slowing his breathing to stead rhythm the enchanter then closed his eyes as he concentrated on what he was going to do next.
Focusing mana into his left hand Eric then tighten his entire left arm in an attempt to absorb as much fire energy as he could possibly take. This would be first time Eric would use a type of fire that came from any animals. Normally he would use small flames, but he was curious as to if the flames would give a more powerful effects.
Hold his position sweat started to run down his face as the flames in front of him started to lose its energy. To those with enhance sense, from using magic, could see the a red aura leave from the flame into the enchanters left hand, and see the glowing move throughout his body onto the object n his right.
After a few more seconds the fire in front of Eric went completely out follow by a slight glow from the weapon in his right hand. Placing his left hand on the floor of the Academy, Eric then started to breath a little hard trying to regain his energy from what he had just tried to pull off.
As he was doing that Eric then began to slowly rise as he offer the sword back to its original owner. In a tired voice Eric then said, “That took more energy then I thought it would.”

The duo watched their new friend bend down to the flames and begin to focus his mana. Tristan's head to was now cocked in curiosity. The enchanter he'd known has simply owed the hunter a favor, as a particular demon was giving him hell.
Being who Tristan was, he stalked, and blew the quary to oblivion, and ran into the enchanter while checking the corpse for any thing useful. He'd never seen this sort of enchantment taking place, an element to an object, so naturally he behaved the way he did. "Interesting...." Was what he had to say, gripping the handle of his trusted weapon. "This what you were trying to do?" And with an almost effortless flex of mana, the blade of Tristan's sword errupted in a pillar of flame, which settled to extend past the tip of the blade by a foot.
"Fire is my natural element. If I knew about magic when I was born, I probably could have done this as a child." He stated simply. Incase the young man wanted to take notes on Tristan's flaming sword as well, he let it burn.

Slowly regaining his posture Eric placed his left hand over his forehead to hold up classes as he said, “I just preformed a low level weapon transfer enchantment. By taking quality from one object, like that fire, I am able to give another object charges to perform special attacks. However, I have to say that the fire from a dragon only gives off more charges then a regular Fire object.”
Bringing his hand back down to his side the young enchanter then said in a somewhat disappointed tone, “I had hope that a dragon’s fire would have more special characteristic, but at my current level this should be sufficient.”

Tristan listened as the flames licked around his sword. "Interesting...The man I knew didn't do elemental enchantments like that, as far as I know." Igneus returned to his partners shoulder. "As far as 'special characteristics' its just an ordinary flame caused by reactive chemicals. Kind of like napalm except it doesn't last as long without mana added to it like Igneus does." He then thought for a moment.
"If you used a regular flame, one without mana added to it, you might get more charge. Igneus' energy might cancel out your efforts." Tristan offered that idea, not really knowing what it would have come from. There was the principle that complementary colored lenses put infront of a camera would still record a clear image instead of a colored one, but that was a bit of a far cry from sources of mana contradicting eachother.
