Though he had prefered to keep to the shadows and not draw attention to himself he couldnt help but mess around a little. It had been a couple of days since Narin had settled in at the academy and quite simply put, he was a little bored. Well, the practicing of magic freely was a good advantage and he would soon be learning more to keep him busy but until then he would pass the time by messing with the even newer students. He would do so with a completely ignorant attitute also. Narin wandered out to the courtyard which was actually quite nice, the grass was laid out to the very edge of the floating island and the day had brought in a particularily calming mist which just happening to float through the courtyard and roll right off the edge of the rock.
Narins particular spot for his mischief was a betch a good few metres away from the edge. A few tall trees were positioned behind the bench and the same was happening on the right of him, down the middle of course was a stone pathway to the grass. It was break as well so students were taken up by lazing on the grass, playing sports and what not. It was perfect. Taking a seat on the bench he quickly disposed of the current occupiers by sending a fire ball onto the bottom of their trousers. Followed by a statement of. "If ya' dont want to be fully engulfed in flames I suggest you kids take hike, i'll be seeing ya!" he said with a smile and a wink of the eye. He placed his hands behind his head, leaned back and crossed his legs. "Ahhh, being a giant pain in the A double S is just so darn nice. Now, who's gonna get warm next, is it you, you? Or maybeh ayou!" he said to himself whilst pointing at each person with his finger, still with his hands behind his head. And now it was time, a short smirk rolled over Narins lips before he shot out a rather large meteor like ball followed be a tail of fire, it smashed into the back of one of the students who followed up perfectly be throwing his dignity off the edge of the rock by rolling on the floor squealing in pain. Messing with people was fun...

The meteor was suddenly flying back at the blue haired man sitting on the bench with even greater speed then that which it was hurled. "Hey, asshole! There's no assaulting the students here!" Tristan's deep voice boomed across courtyard. The menacing figure could easily be seen as a large black silhouette, accented by a huge glinting blade resting over the left shoulder.
"Holy crap, Tristan Knightrhode....Thanks man." The kid said, still sitting but well beyond freaked out. The hunter nodded to the kid, indicating a 'get out of the way,' and looked back to the idiot who felt the need to attack students randomly. "What's your problem? Your lucky I'm the one who showed up instead of the security." He said in that same deep, booming, peircing voice as he began to walk forward at a decent pace.
As for how he managed to be in the right place at the right time, he'd just so happened to be heading out the main door of the academy, which is what this courtyard was infront of, and also happened to have insanely quick reaction time when it came to his double time chakra spell. As Tristan approached the blue haired figure, his blade would leave his shoulder and be extended to point an inch from the guy's nose, no matter his positioning.

Narin, still watching over the event he had created noticed how one of his own meteors had suddenly gone renegade and was on course for airport Seven Twenty Narins Face. Narin Clenched his fist and gave a simple mutter. He of course had said out the incantation to one of his spells, in other words "Enflame." which sent his body into an incinerating wall of flames. Of course his body was still there in what only looked like a painful orange hue of its former self, then there was the flames covering the outside of himself. Seeing as the Enflame transition was instantanious the meteor would simply fly through Narins flame wall and fall to ashes. As this happened Narin let his hand go free from the clench and thus returned to normal. As he did a few flakes of scolding ash fell onto his cheek, letting off a sizzle and a puff of smoke.
Narin gave a short "Ahh." and looked around, locking onto Tristan. "So, I owe my thanks to you then. Delightful gift right there, truly terrific." he said with thumbs up. Narin took his arms from behind his head and started a pleasant tap on his lap. "Meh, Ya' do got a point there." he said, focusing on the tip of the blade which stood infront of his face he couldnt help but go a little cross eyed. "Kindly take that thing from my infront of face, would be much appreciated, then we can go ahead and talk m'kay?." he said in a mocking tone. Narin didnt wait, instead he continued to talk. "To answer your question, I'm just passing time, place is so borin' I think I could actually fall asleep just walking around, did do that once mind you, summer of 1972, pretty darn hot then too..." Narin gave a short smirk as he sent a small flame hopping across his fingers. "Truth be told to ya' there big guy, people are who they are, this is me right here, nice to meet ya' names Narin and I do apologise, really but if I need to occupy myself Im sure as hell gonna do it in the most fun way possible, right now thats by screwin with the kids. Dont like it we'll talk it out a different way." Narin explained.
Now, following all this there would probably be a whole lot of confusion with the whole issue of 1872 and Narins youthful look, it mattered little.

Shireiutz found itself back in the holster over Tristan's left shoulder, the black dragon hide strap that crossed his torso tugging abit as the weight came down unto it. The movement had been so blindingly fast, most people would think that it was teleported back into the shieth, though any higher ranking students would be able to see that Tristan's movements were on a level eight times higher than average human tracking ability. The hunter left his chakra running incase things got hairy again, being that he only used the one spell, it was going to last a good while.
"If you keep attacking students...They're going to fight back. And they just may have friends who out out class even the teachers. The last place you want to be is on the wrong end of a master class attack." He explained right back, making his point clear in that deep and menacing voice. It far from surprised Tristan that this guy was around in seventy two, hell one of Tristan's friends was around before the Tokugawa Shogunate in Japan. Demons, elves, ancients, vampires, what ever...Babylos had it all, there was even a teacher who was almost fifty yet looked fourteen. What his story was, Tristan didn't know, but then again, it didn't really matter.
The introductions weren't returned, feelings were harsh for the time being, since some idiot was torching people for fun. Almost makes you wish for an infernomancer to be one of the by standers. That would be an entertaining sight.

Narin gave a nod, though he sure as hell wasnt going to change his ways after a simple bit of preaching. Right now it was hopeless to make an attempt to stop Narin. "Well, thats me, I've been around long enough that I don't care how badly I get my assed kicked for being a complete jackass, honestly I enjoy a good fight no matter how high the calibre, it may just be the only thing fun enough to keep my attention for a big amount of time." Narin explained he then shot his arm out infront of him, span his hand round in a circular motion and moved his fingers back and forth in a "Bring it" jesture. "So, your call Cowboy, gimme your best shot." he said. Narin knew he was likely to get his ass kicked, though he didnt care, it was like he just said, even if he lost he enjoyed fighting.

Tristan could only chuckle to himself. Here was another first dayer, begging to get his ass kicked. Then, with the last words, he wanted to say a certain something so bad it was going to kill him. The hunter's eyes closed for a moment behind his sunglasses, a couple of seconds later, they snapped open, then Tristan was gone.
In an instant that surpassed most peoples perception, Tristan was behind this Narin character, "Yipee kayee mother fucker." Is what he said to complete the Die Hard reference that was begging to be released before the man grabbed the guys collar and launched him sky ward. Tristan quickly followed in a move that could rival half the teachers and activated another spell...flight. Now he could teleport. The huge man was instantly infront of the noob, grabbing at his collar again and spinning himself and the seemingly younger Narin through the air.
Momentarily, Tristan would release Narin in a hurl that would send the poor bastard flying over the yards surrounding the academy itself and a few hundred feet into the Training Grounds, the only place they were allowed to fight. Using that rediculous speed, Tristan was hovering over Narin in almost an instant just before he began decending. "Just so you know, my best shot would kill you." The moment was surreal as both men would seem to be hovering in mid air, against gravitys volition, then the mage's maw would rocket open and a huge blast of organge and yellow flame shot out of it, blazing through the air and into Narin with enough force to null out his current momentum and send him soaring right into the dirt.

The attack by the hunter was certainly surprising, however it was all only helping to make Narin stronger. As Narin lay in a ditch the size of his own body with streams of smoke spiralling off him, his only reaction was a short and simple "Heh." As Narin lay up both of his arms turned a charred black and spontaniously combust into flames, as well as this a set of firery black wings appeared on his back and the two daggers he held levitated up and sparked white into a spear and a sword. Narin had chosen to use a small amount of the Aersgarth's power. Narin shot up into the sky at full speed towards Tristan and just to be safe had fully enflamed the rest of his body. He was now full speed towards Tristan with both of his weapons pointed out. He was practically a meteor right now.

And so it begins. Fire against fire. Demon against Crusnik. Or so thats what Tristan could gather by this new form. Being that Narin had used fire three times already, Tristan didn't much expect his attack to do much damage, especially considering it was a rather weak flame, it was just sizably large. "Too slow!" He yelled, his body still facing the ground in a stilled flight. Unmoving, Tristan waited for the attack. As the attack came in, he could see it with ease and simply let his arms hang down.
Following a Bruce Lee approach in not tensing the limbs until the moment of impact, the hunter waited for his prey to approach. The instant the spear was in range Tristan's hand on that same side warped outward, pushing it aside with relative ease. The same was done to the sword, only with the other hand. Following that maneuver, Tristan's armored hand that had parried the spear shot out to his opponents collar, pulling his face to within an inch of Tristans, "Too weak." He said quietly before rocketing his body around and aiming to slam both of his boots into Narin's chest with enough force to smash through human ribs with little problem.
The impact, if there was one, which was more than likely, would send Tristan upward where he would simply flip himself around and wait for the next attack. This poor bastard would find out the hard way that Tristan was utterly immune to flame, even his meteor attacks would bounce off of Tristan's flesh like a cold spark off a roman candle.

Narin once again flew to the floor and yet another body shaped ditch was created. Narin swept the dirt and smoke off of his clothes and gave a short "shh" kinda sound in response to the burns he had on his ass and legs. Narin spat some blood to the side of him which splattered on the floor beside him. His ribs had indeed been broken by that last attack. Narin struggled some words out. "Thats great, now kindly kiss my ass..." it was harder for him to speak seeing as his ribs had just been broken, however he still had a little fight left in him. Narin wasnt anywhere close to full demon form yet but he would be soon. Just like his arms had done earlier, his whole body quickly turned to a charred black, he had no hair, no facial details. It was as if he had been burnt alive, there was even the scolding red colour in his body parts. Then, he began to grow and his shape changed. From what seemed like the ashes of a former human a giant demon rose up from the earth. Then would disappear from Tristans sight, only to appear behind him he would grab Tristan in his giant hand and begin to crush him.

An eyebrow shot up as Narin's body charred over. [So, he is a demon.] There were only two possible conclusions: one was that he was a fire demon, the other was that he'd fused with a fire elemental. It was soon revealed to be the former as the man grew into one of the biggest Demon's Tristan had ever seen, let alone killed. The man's eyes widened momentarily as the demon dissapeared, but Tristan soon felt the energy signature, teleportation.
Knowing that the he was instantly at six o'clock, Tristan blasted off with speed that only appeared to be teleportation, speed which would be running out soon, unfortunately. The hunter was now several meters behind his opponents head, twin .45's in hand. "A demon should appreaciate this. Let's welcome Chaos." He said, mostly to himself, as Ebony and Ivory began charging massive stores of corresponding energy. The white gun, Ivory, began charging light element, whereas Ebony charged darkness.
This little combination was something Tristan called 'Chaos devistation', basically it was using the opposing elements of light and dark to blast into the target where they would react and cause a massive elemental reaction in the form of an elemental explosion. To use a video game reference, the elements canceled each other out to make an 'ultima' like attack that, no matter who or what it hit, was devistating. Both balls of energy forming at the tip of the barrel of each gun soon reached a foot in diameter and threatened to destroy eachother right then and there, but Tristan's control over his mana was on a level that he could prevent them from reacting, but it wouldn't last long.
He'd hold off momentarily to see what what this Ifrit character would do, whether teleport again, which Tristan could track, or simply turn around. If the former, Tristan would use his own equivalent to teleportation, his speed, and put himself in a similar postition, if the latter, he would simply proceed.
Two massive beams of energy, one a glowing blast of white, the other of black, would rocket in a twirling motion into the demon's torso, right at the base between the wings if it hit the back. When it did hit, the blast radius would force Tristan back quite a distance, but the force at the impact point would be great enough to put a sizable crater through a ground of solid diamond.

Narin held held his hands up and sent for his spear and sword which had been dropped from the two shots of Tristans guns. The magical energy they both held was negative to Narins and thus they could be used like magnets, Narins energy being positively charged. They shot up and were grabbed in either hand. An attack of this proportion would render Aersgarth useless for a long time, thus Narin had but one option. He enflamed both weapons and smashed them together. Waving his giant finger a small red line followed in its path as he spelled out a magical symbol. He merged the two weapons together into a rather large sword in a scabbard. This took a bit of energy and he had little time left to complete what he was doing. He held his hand out, fingers spread and began focusing energy into a psi ball, he shot it out and left it floating.
Then, as the hugely powerful attacks exploded inside him, his demon form shot out of him, into the floating energy ball which then carried on to merge with the newly formed sword. Of course, now Narin was left falling through the sky with the sword in his hand. He landed for the last time. His Demon form would be sealed for now. This was his only option, to save his powers.

Tristan's chaos combo blasted into the demon form like a plasma torch through butter. Only thing was, it dissapeared. Not in a usual demon way, but up and dissapeared. Normally an attack like that would blow a demon into peices first, then it would die, but this was just melted away. Of course, from that point on, Tristan's view was obstructed by the reactionary explosion, so for now he simply twirled his guns back into their holsters on his vest inside his coat.
Instead of wasting the energy to specifically fly, Tristan reduced the effect of his flight spell and simply fell to the ground, allbeit, slowly, but he was still falling. Soon enough he twisted his body around and landed harmlessly on the grass. "Easier than I thought. Maybe I'm getting more skilled than I give my self credit for." He walked over to the Narin character, and noticed something odd. A sword. He didn't have a sword before. Understandably, that raised an eyebrow on the hunter before he shrugged it off.
Not much caring to deal with his opponent since he'd not done much damage to the human form aside from a couple of broken ribs, Tristan simply flew off. The next class would be starting soon.

Meanwhile, at the cafeteria.
"Hey, Matchal! I just heard from the west corridor. Tristan's beating the snot out of another challenger, they say this one was some kind of a demon." A stout apprentice said as he approached the table where Matchal sat chewing on lunch with a few friends.
"What another one?" A fiery haired girl said. "Is it just me or has he been stepping up a lot lately?"
The others watched Matchal as he withdrew a slim gold book from his bag and flipped open to a page. "Hmm... You're right, thats the forth one so far and the weeks only half over." He responded as he placed a small check on the page. "At this rate Stan is going to win this weeks pot for sure. The scrubs are seeming quite active recently, wonder whats got them going?"
Matchal returned to chewing thoughtfully as his friends shifted their conversation to the newest hot teacher.
