Entering the hall of the academy for the first time was a green hair newcomer with a curious look on his face. Looking through his virtual visor as they analyze his surroundings, Gake causally read the symbols that rolled down before they disappear. Stopping in the middle of the empty hall Gake looked down at his right hand and formed a fist causing some of his knuckles to crack.
With a grin Gake started to dwell on everything that has occurred to him the past year. Without a doubt it, Gake had experienced his most painful year of living as his body tried to adapt to the change. Yet, even though Gake has recovered, he is still way weaker then before. This new power that his body is generating on his own is much harder to manipulate then the city’s, and as a result he has lost the ability to perform a lot of basic magic that came easily.
Now pushing back the painful memory of his little ordeal, Gake placed his right hand right over his hip and keeping his hands open manage to bring out a single energy crystal. Now bringing his hand up Gake placed the crystal by his head before placing his hands back into his pocket. The crystal now was just now hovering around his head as he walked through the halls.

The transformed demon walked through the halls of the school, waiting for someone to even try and look at him the wrong way. His tactic of wearing one blade had recently been a problem in his fight with Tas, and as such, he was now back to wearing two. Likely he would stay with that as he could rip them off most of the time if he needed to. The fact that they had been burned to match his body, with some pressure still, made it interesting. At least they didn't have to be held and gave him an added edge. A second weapon on his arm that was stronger than metal and yet lighter than thin steel.
And so, in his new...form of sorts, he simply needed to find a test case that would give him a release of sorts. Those medics had forced him to sleep, which was probably a good thing for the normal human, but now his mind was rather tormented. The image of that girl had gone into his head, again, and he felt like killing someone, simply for that. What luck that he would find someone who stood out from the crowd in a very peculiar way.
He had a stone stuck to his head.
It was an odd sight. He had what looked like a green cover over his eyes. Pale green eyes would scan the figure of what looked like a relatively new person. Of course, when you hadn't seen most of the students, everyone looked new, but hey, it was just his guess. Bone tail relaxed but arced behind him, Chephros walked up to his soon-to-be-target and smirked. His arms were relatively still as he held them to have his slightly curled claws pointing towards his body, his hands in the spot they normally would be if his arms were relaxed, but his elbows were curled behind him slightly. This put his blades in front of him at a small angle.
"Kid, you stuck out with that jewel on your face."

Walking down the hall Gake immediately stopped in his track as the sensors on his visor flared up with a warning of an on coming energy source. Immediately turning around Gake came face to face with the energy source just as the demon made the sly remark. Gake did not even need to wait for his visor to complete its analyses to know that he was facing a rather powerful demon.
Demons: magical creatures that populate all planes of existence. They are magically adept to fire magic, and often take on the persona of the very element that consumes them. While most are weak, the ones that can escape their hell are rather strong.
These were just the basic facts Gake could come up with before his visor beeped indicating that the analysis was complete. Disregarding the information on this demon for the time being, Gake then said in an arrogant manner, as if talking down to him, “You should be the one talking about sticking out, eh?”
As he said that remark Gake tighten his hands into a fist, but still kept them in his pocket.

"Actually, I've seen two other demons in this school already, but you seem to be the first of your kind here. I mean, I don't think many other people stick rocks to their heads."
Chephros smirked. His new form was definitely something he needed to get used to. His hands were reflexively in the claw form he used to use, instead of needing conscious thought. This meant all fingers were curved to almost a 90 degree angle, and the points of the claws were ready to cut. The midnight black scales covering his body gleamed away light as his bone tail. His already fanged teeth hadn't been changed, but seemed to have a hunger behind them now that he smirked with them to show.
"Though, you're right. I will stick out. Not now, no one really knows me. Though, you're going to help start that change. Here, or in the Training Grounds of this school where it won't matter anymore, your choice."
His smirk remained on his face, as if permanently stuck there. In the Training grounds they could blast the place apart for the most part, it would be all good. Here, if they were caught, they would be sent to get some punishment. The demon wasn't exactly new to the idea, and could take whatever they wanted to throw at him to do. This student however, might like the option of not having that done to him.

With a little chuckle Gake idly mocked, as his power crystal started to spin, “A rock? Well, I guess it is understandable that things here are ignorant to many things.”
Now pulling his right hand out of his pocket Gake slowly started to open his hands, and right above his hands hovered what appeared to be three shards. At first they simply looked like floating squares, but then reshaped themselves with a sharper point along with being as clear as glass. Keeping his eyes focused on the demon in front of him Gake slowly pulled out his left hand, and placed it to his side.
With a grin, as if he already won, “I don’t have much time to play. So I think I will just send you back to where you came demon.”
Cocky and ignorant are the words to describe this apprentice. If he had even bother to look at the information on his side bar then Gake would be aware of the danger he would be in as his visor urged him to turn away. This would be the first time Gake would use his power in such an instance, and with his unstable new power such a fight would be risky.
Now the crystal would just float on over right towards the demon and hover in his face. Should the demon make any movement towards Gake, or the crystal, the crystal would immediately self destruct sending a small blast of energy towards the demon.

"Nice try."
The demon himself however, would simply shut his eyes and duck down slightly to bolt forward. Simple blasts of energy wouldn't even phase his scales as they were semi-magic resistant as well as shock absorbant. While he didn't know how much magic they could resist, he was guessing whatever was in the small shards wouldn't be enough. Plus, they weren't that far away, maybe twelve feet at best. If anything the blast would be behind him, considering it was in front of his face. Even better, if he absolutely needed to, he could have created spikes to impale and break the shards. Sure, their power would have activated, but when the direct path to him was cut it would have to go around, and often target magic couldn't do that.
So it would be his turn. If and when the things would detonate behind him, he would simply raise his arms so that his twin wrist blades, extending a foot and a half from his own three foot long arms, would be as far out as they could. It would only take him three strides to close the gap enough for him to cut apart this fool. His hands also charged with Chaos, ready to use Helix should he have to. He had already taken two rapid steps, the third one halted.
"Absolutely sure you want to do this here?"

So the demon managed to escape to small blast of his crystal, big deal. He has plenty of crystals that he could use whenever he wants. The purpose of those crystals is mainly to help Gake generate, and control his energy until he gains perfect control. That whole self destruct thing was just a little thing Gake like to do to startle people, but it did not work out that well.
In his self confident manner Gake replied, “Like I said, I don’t have much time to play so I would want to get this done as soon as possible, but if you want you could just run along and do whatever you demons like to do.”
After a slight pause Gake then asked rather curious, “Why would you want to put off this fight until later? Demons are a bunch of mindless bloody thirsty beast, so why would you want to wait on a fight?”

"Because you might be scared of the rules of the school."
And with that he was quiet. That third step would be taken, and with it he would launch a shockwave from his hands that would have the force of 90 lb slamming into a person at once at a speed of...oh say, 35 miles per hour, and the move itself really didn't drain him. Oh say...one eight of what he could do at once? Even better, that power would come back to him rather shortly as when the shockwave ended it would leave the Chaos hanging in the air. Bringing it back to his body subconsciously was easy. It was subconscious after all. The student in front of him could either A: Take the force somehow and be sent back, or B: Stop it. If he somehow mirrored it, it would simply cancel, if he reflected it, it would die. Shockwaves can't reflect backwards, it's against their nature. It would simply continue forward....somehow.
In short, he could take it or stop it dead.
And after that Chephros would be right behind it, dashing forward. His first move would be to shoulder slam the guy in the neck, then push up and close his mouth hard, or push his neck upward. His elbow would then add to the neck, making it much harder to breath. Of course, this was all if his wave hit directly. If it didn't, he would put his blades in front of him and just calmly walk forward, prepared to walk headfirst into hell itself again. Actually no, if he walked into Hell itself he would be more than happy. For now he was satisfied with whatever this guy could try.

After the simple remark Gake only said sarcastically, “Oh, I am so touched by your concern.”
After that remark the demon in front of him sent a shockwave out that collided with the barriers in front of Gake. Once the energy hit the barriers they lit up with energy showing the formation they were in. There was one wall in front of Gake and two to his sides that protected him completely from the blast. After a few seconds the walls slowly started to disappear.
Completely unharmed from that attack Gake kept his eyes on his screen, and immediately turned around as his screen flashed behind him. Keeping his left hand in a fist, a quick invisible wall appeared right in front of Gake. Opening his hands in a quick fashion Gake then sent his wall forwards straight towards the demon that came charging at him. The only real indication of the wall would be the sound, and dust coming from the wall as it dragged on the ground. The wall would only push against the demon throwing him off balance.
Once the wall disappeared Gake would bring his right index finger, ring finger, pinky, and thumb together leaving his middle finger up. This gesture would send forward the three invisible shards, which would glimmer under the lights of the school, towards his opponent.

Something was coming, the movement on the ground confirmed it. Bracing himself, he put his arms in an X form in front of him, and placed his right leg back. His claws would sink into the ground to hold as would his tail. Not knowing what it was didn't exactly help him, but it was better than nothing. So when a complete wall slammed into his arms, it was more than a little surprising, but not exactly effective. It slid him back a few inches, and then stopped. But...why on Earth would this guy send a wall at him? He would wanted to knock the demon out, not drive him backward.
Then of course three shards came at him. His scales reflected the first one outright, the second one hit a scale and slipped slightly under a second to get a minor cut. The third one hit his other arm in the same way. Very slight wounds that lost him barely any blood. Alastor's Fury wouldn't activate until a bit more was lost. He snarled.
"You have Got to be KIDDING ME!"
Completely burst forward, blades in front. His veins pumped, he wanted this guy down. He was too weak right now, he needed to learn. Perhaps with his own defeat he would get better. Of course, his blades were pointed a little bit too close to the torso, and he consciously pushed them outward towards the arm. He didn't want this guy to die. If he could learn to use his barriers for something better...Well, that was his problem for later. For now he had to worry about a demon bursting forward at him with his blades in front. Any walls would likely be smashed.

Grinning at this little show, watched as the demon charged at him again. The shards Gake launched at the demons should of disappeared already and seeing as how demon was charging it appear his strategy was paying off.
Demons are most dangerous when they are angry, but also the most vulnerable. Once in this furry, demons will only use close range attack, and as long as you can keep your distance attacking with range spells then the chances for victory is ensure.
Pointing his left finger towards the ground a thin barrier formed underneath him, and by moving his fingers towards the demon the barrier should slide Gake away from the demon’s attack. As he was moving back, Gake stretched his right arm behind him forming 10 sharp shards. Moving his right arm forward, as if throwing something, Gake sent all ten shards straight towards his opponent. If the shard should be deflected, or be lodge into the target then it will disappear. However, if a shard should miss, be avoided, or graze the target then Gake would bring his right arm back to guide them back to the target.

Was he trying to toy with a demon now? The mage was actually running away it seemed. Angry, Chephros deflected from the normal and that made him worse. His left arm curled behind him and then his body twisted to his right. A strong lash, even no where close to his enemy, wasn't exactly the greatest thing. He had put enough of his magic into it to create what was like a 100 pound wave hitting you at fifty miles per hour. Roughly a fourth of his total magic. The rest had come back while he was waiting. It really wasn't hard, as his body naturally supplied it as well. Problem was, this wasn't helping. As much as he tried, all he could do was slam the guy. He needed actual power in the attack.
And so while the wave went, Chephros stopped, smirked, crossed his left arm over his right, and his Chaos flashed into existance. It covered his hands in the shadowy purple-black fog and wavered around. A sizable amount of energy would be put into this, most of his remainder. His magic would be useless after this, as it could easily kill him to use any, but his body wouldn't be. Alastor's fury didn't drain any of his energy, and it sure as hell wouldn't be easy to stop, if this was at all. His arms made a quick circle and the tracer lines went out. They could extend at will without losing power, it was turning that made everything fall out of whack. Since they were in a hallway, there was no problem. After less than a second the first pair of shots would appear with the force of forty pounds. It would feel like a bullet hit you with that much weight however if you were to walk into it. The tracers alway stopped close enough from the target so the orbs could explode.
With the force of one and a half shots. Quite devastating. Every three seconds there would be a pair. If he noticed a wall go up, he would shorten the length so the explosion would hit the wall. Pure chaos magic fed by that which was in the air and that which he regained, but not all. Every shot would be increased by roughly a pound in impact force.

Another shockwave? Damn it, how could I forget about the principle of the shockwave.
Looking into his scanner the energy of this shockwave was considering much more powerful then the last. Quickly disengaging his previous attack Gake sent up a barrier in front of him to block the wave. As soon as the barrier disappeared Gake then prepared for his attacking thinking that he would have enough time to set up enough barriers to protect him for the time being. Shockwaves are extremely effective in tight quarters, but take up a lot of energy when over used. Hopefully the demon would waste his energy using this attack.
By the time his opponent completed the tracing Gake was only able to set up three barriers in front of him. However, the first shockwave took out all three of Gakes barrier. “Damn,” Gake swore under his breath. A year ago this match would have already been over, but it seemed like his body could generate enough power yet to keep up multiple strong barriers. Six barriers in three seconds all shattered. Eight Barriers now all shattered with a little extra hitting Gake causing a small amount of chaos magic hitting his face.
Breathing harder than before, Gake managed to build up one more barriers with whatever energy he could muster, and should another shockwave hit it then Gake would most likely be sent back a few feet.
This is pathetic; I can’t even control the amount of energy I place in my own barriers without feeling exhausted. Is this really how good the people of Babylos are when forced to rely on our own power instead of the city? This can’t be.

The only problem with this attack was the timed thing. It had been defeated once by Tas when she used her guns to blast him out of the sky, almost literally, by aiming for his wings. She had clipped one and he still had the scar on the edge. Well, at least he was starting to look like a demon. Now he just needed five hundred more on his wings, some cuts on his tail and horns, and several marks of battles on his body. However, right now he wasn't reminiscing, right now he was standing still with his arms in line of the tracers, keeping the flow steady. Each pulse came every four seconds, each one stronger than the last.
This guy seemed good with his walls. He had blocked most of them, but he seemed to be wearing out. The orbs flew down the tracer lines and slammed into the barrier. They had little force other than there initial because of the fact that the tracer lines were remaining in front of Gake. They wouldn't explode right in front of him until there were no barriers remaining. For him, that was a good thing, except he had no way out of it. All he could do was continually make his barriers until he ran out of energy. The tracers were semi immune to the barriers. They passed through all objects like air. It was simply an aiming method, it had no power whatsoever, but without them his attack was useless. It was just...a charged...release...of chaos....
Then of course the thought smacked him. He had been training a while back on how to do something like this. He would have to finish that training later. For now he just needed to finish this fight. The demon called out loudly to his opponent.
"Yield yet shield boy?!"

This can’t be. I refuse to lose like this.
Without even realizing it Gake then shouted in a loud voice, “I am not this weak! I will not be humiliated by a mere DEMON!”
As he shouted the shield that in front of Gake suddenly shattered with a rather loud bang. Now floating in mid air in front of Gake were about 30 sharp crystals floating. Not even realizing what he did Gake lifted up his face straight towards his opponent, and at the same time the group of crystals turned towards his opponent. Then with a slight nod all thirty shard Gake summoned would go flying straight towards his opponent.
This would be his last attack, and if the demon remains standing after this attack then Gake would have no choice except to retreat. No matter what, Gake knows now that his life energy is not strong enough to keep his body function while at the same time performing spells in battle. He needs to find a new source of energy to draw on to surpass everyone here.
