Tristan had heard a scuffle from well down the hall. Not only were the chuckleheads involved not exactly being quiet, but Tristan's ears were well past a humans. He'd been heading in that direction, but when he heard the bang his speed exploded into its blinding glory that prevented most lower rank students from being able to see him coming.
The hunters double time spell sent him blasting in between the two of them and a harmless kick was what met the one who was winning. It was merely to get him back out of the way before Tristan accidentally slashed him. The mages sword was blasted out of its holster and spun around in a manner that made it seem as a mirror. The shards were deflected and burried themselves in the walls, floor, and ceiling, "Yo! You know better than to be fighting in the school!" He yelled in his usual harsh tone.
Still looking at the green haired man, Tristan didn't notice who the other combatant was. His sword stayed in his left hand incase he needed to stop further attacks. Looking to the side then, he finally got a look at the other guy. "Ch-...Chephros?" He said with a now raised eyebrow. If it was indeed who he thought it was...he'd changed from the last time the hunter had seen him. He looked down right demonic, not just wings and a tail.

His blasts cut, the last one dieing before it hit the barrier. That harmless kick towards him was simply taken easily. If that's all it was, he didn't care. He didn't have the energy at the moment to create a spike to impale the student, so he would take it. His midnight black scales would easily just take the force and shrug it off.
"Good, you know who I am. Well then, if you're going to be here, I see no point in destroying him. Oh well, another fight for another day."
He would simply turn around and start walking away. He didn't need to be here anymore, there was no point. The bone tail would clink slightly as it swayed back and forth behind him. His claws would simply relax slightly, though you couldn't see it unless you were looking for it, and his arms sagged like always, but his shoulders never fell. He was a proud creature, always would be. Cocky and instigative too, but proud. He hadn't lost here, he knew that. It was a draw, but only by forced end. His right hand went up and he waved goodbye over his head.
"Some other time then."

The fight was over, and even though it was not complete Gake knew he lost. His barriers could barely hold off his opponent’s attack. Without the city’s power Gake was nothing more than a weak human. At first Gake thought this new power would be stronger then the city, but he was wrong.
As the demon made his way out Gake just stared at the ground in not saying a word. As he stood there his hands would ball into a tight fist, and start trembling. This was Gake’s first lost, and not only that but it was to a demon. Not only did he lose to the demon, but his barriers were completely useless. How can Gake even call himself a citizen of Babylos if this is how good he is?
Under his breath so people could not hear him Gake mumbled to himself, “If we had fought before the incident then I am sure I could of beat him. If only it didn’t happen. If only I could use it again.”

Chephros would actually turn around. He wanted to fight this kid again, but when he was better. He needed to know something. Likely he would be pissed since he lost. It was natural. Hell, Chephros got ticked whenever something like that had happened to him, but now he was in the opposite position. Often times there are cool people you'll meet who, even after they kick the crap out of you, help you. Even if he was going to be known for his ability to fight, people might as well not hate him for it. "Oh, kid! Next time, pay attention to how my attacks work. Timing is important. Have fun practicing." And then he would be gone. He would be smirking this time and his tail would look much like a happy cat's, constantly swaying around with a curve upward. The sides were always kept within five inches of the walls though, as he didn't want to mark anything, yet, and away from all people. Who knows what could happen otherwise. ((Very, very, short, but he had to say it I'll edit it to be longer shortly.))

Standing aside for the most part, Tristan returned his sword to its holster. He was becoming an enforcer in the school. Hell he'd probably be asked to join the security when his rank was high enough. In any case, the security hadn't shown up, and no one was getting busted, all was well, for the most part. It wasn't much his business, so when he heard the man on the loosing end say something, he rather tuned it out.
After Chephros left fully, Tristan turned to the other guy, and started walking past him. "Your lucky I showed up, not only would that guy probably not have stopped until he tore you limb from limb, but you get in some deep shit around here for fighting outside the training grounds, especially if you fight in the halls where you could do damage to the school or other students." The hunter kept walking, he had no more business here, and simply went about his day like much any other.
That Chephros, though. He was something that was bugging Tristan. Sure students advanced, and some even took on new forms, but the change that had taken place from the class at Tran's brothers to now...it was slightly diccerning. There was something about that particular demon that was bugging the mage, though he couldn't place exactly what it was. Sure there was that drastic change...but there was something els.

Gake did here everything that was spoken to him, but for some strange reason he did not react to any of it. Gake just stood there trying to find something to blame for this lose other than himself despite the fact it was his fault. Eventually he would have to come to grips with this new power, even if it did prove disappointing.
Talking to himself in a depress manner Gake mumbled, “I need to find new stronger power. New magic is what I need.”
