...really don't see why you decided to come back here..
A still look masked on her face as the young violet haired girl made her way through the courtyard, the wind blowing against her rather pale complection. Sitting down on the bench, she looked up at the crecent moon and the millions of candles lighting up the black velvety sky. It was a bit chilly out, as Minji could see her breath when exhaling. Hands slipping into the pockets of her sweater to keep her warm, she sat cross-legged with a rather sleepy, or tired look in her eyes. It was a wonderful night, as it was oddly silent in the area. She had just come back from a rather long vacation a couple hours ago, though spent most of her time roaming... Wandering...
Why did she come back here? What purpose would that have served? Certainly not to come back and attempt to control her magic again, as that would've been a rather foolish thought. Though Minji was hard-headed; determined to get this magic down, she returned only to control this little gift of hers.
That reason, alone, was the reason why Minji Etoile came back.

Ah flying....how boring it got when it was your number one mode of transportation. Odd? For Tristan, sure. But not for who was soaring a good twenty feet over head. And who was it? None other than the foot long element dragon who was partners to the 'Hero of the students', Tristan Knightrhode. Where exactly was said 'hero'? Who the hell knew? Igneus wasn't his keeper. Last the dragon knew the man was still at the training grounds, doing what he did second best.
Momentarily, a mildly familiar feeling came over Igneus. He wasn't exactly like Tristan, feeling mana and a similar energy signature...but nor was he exactly detecting the brain wave patterns. It was more a feeling connected with his telepathy. The feeling was so far forgotten, in that the last time he'd felt it was ages ago, that he could barely remember who it was. That is until, of course, he angled himself into a descending spiral. The closer he got to the figure down below, the more he recognized it. She looked different...but that was the same girl that Tristan has used his Crusnik venom on after she'd been turned into a vampire.
Coming down in a relatively slow spiral, he eventually plopped himself down onto the bench to the right of the rather small girl. Being almost entirely black except for small glints of gold and light green in his spikes which were only visible in the sunlight, she'd likely not see him coming, and being such an animal, wouldn't much hear him either, though she might feel the slight dip in the seat when the close to ten pound mass sunk into the wood of the bench. If she looked, the girl would see a small black head with tiny, somewhat glowing eyes of various colors staring at her as two rather sizable wings folded back.
Then, seemingly out of nowhere since the lizards mouth didn't move, "Hey, Your that Minji girl, right?"

Hm...?
...next to you.[/color]
Head slowly turned to the right, finding herself staring at the lizard of some sort, with wings. Was it this lizard that talked...? And why did it look so familiar? Squinting her eyes, she leaned back against the bench and continued to stare silently at the lizard for a good few moments, debating on whether or not to actually say something to the lizard, and risk looking like an idiot, or ignore him and walk away. Though with no one around, she figured it couldn't hurt...and besides. She now just remembered where she saw this lizard....kind of.
"..and you're the one who carried me."
...this felt...really weird.

Igneus sat down after he turned toward her, his wings finished closing with a slight click as the scales of the wings hit the scales on his sides. "Sort of. I was just getting Tristan to Roy, he was the one carrying you." As far as he knew, the girl hadn't been on Babylos since they'd taken her to Roy after Tristan had changed her back into a human. That thought in mind, "Speaking of which, you haven't been around have you? How have you been?" Of course speaking wasn't exactly accurate, since he couldn't actually speak and his mouth didn't move when he talked. What he did do however, was project telepathy to an audible plane. How? He wasn't quite sure, but he'd been doing it since Tristan became Mage class.
His tail swished back and forth slowly. More like a cat than a dog or even a lizard, but then again he wasn't a normal animal. Even as far as dragons went, he was closer to humans. The dragons eyes seemed to glow slightly, but not like one might expect, more seeming just to emanate darkness, yet show through the various colors in his eyes, gold, light green, red. That perplexed even him when he got a chance to look at his reflection. Ever since he'd gotten hit by darkness while Training, his eyes just did that...no explanation, no reason.
Being already black there should have been no difference added when he got that element, but there his eyes were for all to see. All he could guess for explanation was that darkness was in a different classification from the other elements. Like light and spirit, darkness had sort of a sub category, though it shared it with light, it was still different from fire or wind. As far as he knew, once he got holy, it would do similar...maybe give him an aura. Albeit that wouldn't exactly be a good thing, but there wasn't much he could do about it.

Ah... That guy, Tristan, was it? Let me tell ya, being bit once is bad enough. But to be bitten a second time.. It's not exactly a pleasant feeling. In fact, she felt sick to her stomach for days; she was weak and unable to eat, and the sight of blood now made her hurl. Not so much anymore, but, yes, the long break she took was to try and live somewhat of a normal life. Normal? Ha. Impossible, especially if you have a "gift" you can barely control, and in her case...well, let's just say Minji had to move around a lot. And after days, weeks, months of being tired, she decided to come back, as she knew she was ready to tackle on whatever came her way.
"...took a rather long break, just got in town couple hours back. I'm doing fine."
She noticed his eyes, and how they changed color, and it was, so to say, beautiful in it's own way, especially because it was dark outside. The more she conversed with the..giant lizard, the more she wanted a pet of her own, to talk to, to play with, to care for. A companion, if you would, to keep her busy, to keep her mind off of things.

The small black form rumbled slightly, causing the bench to vibrate a bit. This was the equivalent of laughter for a dragon, a low growl like eminence that sounded a few times. "I think 'In town' is a bit of an understatement, being the fact that Babylos is what it is. I still have to find out exactly how they keep this place afloat...." The vibration stopped as a slightly serious thought came forth. It really was a wonderance to how they had an energy source so powerful that it kept the entire island powered and aloft. Sure you knew that they had some kind of engine down there, but what the hell was it?
Igneus adjusted himself slightly, walking his fore legs back to sit a bit higher up. His tail curled around to the right, now with more of an anxious flick then a casual lolling. Tristan would want to hear that she was alright...but they were a bit out of range and with the school in between them, communication would likely be damn near impossible, so he'd wait for the hunter to get a hold of him to rake in the news.
"So no relapses, I hope? Tristan's never really done that before....Hell, 'till he found some old records on Crusniks, he didn't even know it was possible. Neither did I, tell the truth." his voice, so to speak...or think as case proved, was rather light toned...much lighter than Tristan's overbearing deepness and harshness. It almost had a slight sophistication to it, and might if the owner wasn't such a wiseass most of the time. If Igneus was human, he'd be an ordinary person by standards, not some revenge bound psycho with a sob story...just your normal joe walking down the street with a T-shirt and a pair of jeans.
There was a thought....If Igneus managed to get himself some transfiguration magic, he could take on a human form as well as his various sizes....

Well, Minji wasn't sure what other word there was to describe it. Here she was, on a giant floating hunk of rock, with a school for those who had special abilities. Not only that, but it was also the place where she and Alex had 'met'; no. Meeting wasn't the right word, as apparently Alex had been with Minji ever since she was a little "duckling". Though she did find it particularly interesting that Alex came out when she entered the school. It made her wonder what other sorts of mysteries Minji would find about herself, and her past. The more she learns about her gift, the more Alex tells her of her bloodline history, allowing her to understand her parents' actions a little at a time. As much as she strongly disliked her parents for being killers, she also disliked herself, for acting such a way during the middle of her time here. So...bad.
As much as Minji would like to say her mood swings have calmed down, they haven't. As long as Alex is there, her mood can go from happy to angry in a matter of seconds. And relapses...? Ha. As far as she could tell, Minji was doing fine. The side effects after you turn back into human though, are most certainly not fun. The simple sight, smell, or even talk of food bothered her to no degree for weeks. With no food for that amount of time, Minji was skinny as hell, went anorexic, blah, blah, blah. As time passed though, Minji was able to regain some pounds and become a little more "healthier" in a way.
"I'm fine."
Of course she was. Though, she would like to meet Tristan, as she hasn't seen him in quite a while.

The scaly tail kept right on with its flicking back and forth, steady, rhythmic, quick little flicks that just twitched the end half inch or so back and forth. He thought when she asked how the big guy was doing...how quite to put it? "Tell you the truth, good would be an understatement....Both of us have been getting stronger and stronger ever since we got here...Tristan's already up for his rank exams as well, a month or two last I remember, and other wise, he just keeps getting more and more powerful as time goes on. It's getting rather ridiculous to be honest." He paused, his tail flicked rather hard and a full inch whacked the bench with a slight thud.
"There are even people who outright fear him...people who have no reason to be afraid totally avoid him at times." Another pause, "On a cheerier note, he seems to be taking on students now. He's even been considering taking the Student Teacher exams and becoming a combat arts teacher...May as well considering he's already got one student and a couple of prospect others." A thought occurred to him then. If Tristan did become a teacher...he'd be pretty popular. Surely someone who fights as well as he does would make a damn good instructor when it came to fighting...hell, he could even teach people Ninjutsu. That would certainly be odd.
"Once he gets a hold of me, I can tell him to come here. Right now we're kind of out of range. I don't suppose you've been back long enough to know about the Communicators?" If she wanted to she could call him up herself. As far as Igneus knew Tristan did carry his communicator...might not though. When that last thought crossed the dragons mind, the tail stopped flicking for a moment, then resumed after what appeared to be a shrug.

Huh...not surprised. When she first met Tristan, he was already strong. It was not that big of a shock to hear that he had only gotten stronger; in fact, she expected that to happen. And if he turned into a Combats teacher...maybe she'd take his class. Maybe. Though she was more curious when he mentioned somethin' about Tristan taking students under his wing; would he be able to help her control her little power? Her little gift?--
"Communicators?"
Huh...seems like she missed a lot..

The tail kept right on flicking in that almost annoying continuous pattern. "Yeah, Communicators. Basically they're cell phones hooked up to one of the magic main frames within the island. Any one can buy one but all students are issued a basic model for missions and shit like that." Igneus' forelegs walked back again. Much like a dog sitting up, his somewhat thick legs slid forward some, especially as his tail beat against the wood bench.
For a moment, Igneus thought he'd heard something that wasn't actually said by the girl. Something about a gift. It was extremely faint and the Dragon paid it mostly no attention, but given the fact that he was talking with his mind to an audible plane that any one or any thing could hear...it wasn't too far fetched that he was getting straight forward telepathy, especially given that they were approaching the power level of Sorcerers. Perhaps the link with Tristan was giving Igneus a sort of rank as well, since it was the day that Tristan was deemed 'mage' that Igneus was able to speak to non psychics, which the lack of ability therein was annoying as all hell.
[Yo. Where are you?] Tristan came over their link, obviously done with what he was doing. In the main courtyard talking to who you'll never guess. That raised an eyebrow on the far off Tristan who was now walking toward the Academy. [Who?] And after a short pause to build a little bit of anticipation, Minji. And she wants to see you. And the eyebrow went up higher. [I'll be right there.] He thought back, now breaking into a trot.
"Tristan will be here in a minute. He finished what ever it was he was doing." The dragon told the girl in front of him, his tail having stopped flicking during the conversation with his partner.

Mmph.. Having one would prove to be useful, but did they have trackers on these communicators? Would that mean that they would know twenty-four seven where one student was? The fact alone on being "stalked" wasn't exactly appealing, so she kept silent after he had finished talking, or at least, that's what she assumed. Minji had no knowledge that he was talking with Tristan, so as far as she knew, the two of them were just sitting idly. Once in a while, she would switch her focus and attention to elsewhere, the night being eerie and almost too quiet. Or maybe Minji was just paranoid? As much as she adored the dark, it reminded her of vampires - something she once was, something she feels she's still a part of, no matter what changes she's been through.
Then the little dragon spoke once more, catching Minji off guard. Eyes blinked several times before nodding her head, her back pressing against the bench, legs swishing back and forth, hands in her pocket. Tristan. Hm... She wondered how he was doing? Or... What did he just finish doing?
...are you ignoring me?!!#(
