What to do now (phae)

[Junpei]

Junpei pushed open the door to his room and undid the top button of his shirt. On the window sat a familiar lizard, fast asleep in the setting sun's final rays of light. Junpei smiled across the room as the small Lizard stirred from the emotional drain of Junpei, the little lizard contnued his sleep however. Looking over his shoulder Junpei stepped to the side and held the door for his love, Phae. It seemed both of them were a bit drained from dinner and now they both needed some time to just think. Undoing the second button down Junpei closed the door behind her and smiled, here they were again, only four hours after meeting he had fallen head over heels in love with Phae, it was truly amazing.

Undoing the third button Junpei walked over to his desk and opened a drawer on it, inside he desosited his wallet. The meal had come to a whopping 78 dollars for the little amount they had eaten, but Junpei didn't care, he had plenty of money to live off of. Brushing aside a piece of parchment paper Junpei retrieved a small bottle of water and took a quick drink, mixed in with that water was asprin.

"Phae... do you wanna go back to your room... I would understand why you would..."

Junpei turned to face her, the front of his shirt already halfway undone. He was drained and if he didn't drink that medicated water he would have a headache.

[Phae]

Phae stood in his room again for the second time today they had spent their walk home in silence but she wanted to spend every moment she could with him.

"Phae...do you wanna go back to your room...I would understand why you would..."

She walked over and put her arms around his waist laying her head just under his chin.

"My dearest love. I do..but only to change from this dress. I want to put on my pajamas and then I will come back and we can spend more time together." she said and kissed his adams apple gently. "I will return ten minutes...be ready." she said and moved back to the door.

She left and ran down the hall her heels clicking on the floor she reached her room throwing her dress on a hanger quickly and taking off her shoes. She pulled some pajamas out of her box and dressed in the teal tank top and teal plaid bottoms. She slipped some fuzzy purple slippers on her feat and ran back. Less than ten minutes she knew but she was in a hurry.

She took a deep breath and knocked.

"Jun..it's me." she said.

[Junpei]

Junpei felt her around his waist and his eyes softened, she was being so strong for him. As she kissed his neck he closed his eye and then felt her warmth leave once more, her words still resounding in his head. Nodding slowly Junpei suddenly realised that she had said she was getting into her pajamas adn to be ready. Where exactly this was going he had no idea but he quickly pulled of his shirt as she exited the room. Slipping out of the shoes he walked over to the closet and found a pair of sleeping pants he had. They were a light grey, almost blue and resembled traditional japanese pants. Baggy yet clean cut they were perfect for sleeping in. Tieing up the waist Junpei heard a knock at the door and then a sweet voice, Phae.

"Come on in."

Junpei turned to see her enter in the teal outfit and slippers. He was shirtless now and realised it, but he could never sleep in shirts so he figured she would see it now. Smiling he sat on the edge of his bed and rubbed his face lightly, he woudl be sleeping well tonight.

[Phae]

Phae heard his voice in the room and she opened the door and slid in. She turned seeing him in pants only and blushed. He got more handsome by the moment. She closed the door behind her and stood in awe for a moment. She swallowed and moved closer realizing she had forgotten to take down her hair. She pulled the clips out and sat them on the desk using her hands to shake it down. The curls fell around her as she looked back up at Junpei.

She saw him is on the edge of the bed she had thought of something she wanted to say to him before they slept or spent more time together or whatever it was they were going to do. She knelt on the floor in front of him and took his hands in her own her blue eyes looking up at his face.

"I have something I need to say to you." she said squeezing his hand gently. "I want you to know that when I said I loved you it was not conditional. It was not a love that would go away because of bad news it is a transcendent love. One that I never thought I would feel and one I know I want to enjoy for as long as I can."

She smiled up at him and gave him one of those cute winks that usually made him smile.

"I intend to stand by your side no matter what comes no matter what you face I will face it with you. For if love like they say can conquer all then we will conquer this."

She stay down holding his hands waiting for his reply.

[Junpei]

Junpei watched her cross the room adn let her hair down, the blush over his nose coming back. What she did next completely shocked him, she was on knees in front of him,saying to him that she woudl never leave his side, never give up by this problem, and stay with him forever. Now Junpei was sure she was the one, the one he could remain with forever. Holding her hadn back he puled her up slightly so she was eye level with him and smiled whiel staring dead into her eyes.

"You're wonderful, perfect even, I love you, and no matter what, i'll remain by your side as well. Getting past this... I know we can do it."

pulling her in closer Junpei rested his forehead on hers and let his eyes lock with hers again. How he loved those sapphire pools in front of him, they seemed so full of life and exuberance that e couldn't help lose himself in them. Sliding back a bit Junpei offered her a seat on the bed in front of him, leaving his hand on hers he only moved back, did not pull her in. If she was uncomfortable Junpei could be perfectly understanding.

"Phae.... what did I do to deserve you?"

He sad as the lizard on the sill roled off and went to find a new sleeping spot, all these emotions with Junpei were transfering over, and Loish was not a romantic.

[Phae]

Phae smiled brightly at the words he spoke. She believed that they would be able to do it together she beleived in them and she wasn't going to give up til the very last second. She saw him move back but not take away his hand and she moved to sit up on the bed with him. She saw his legs were crossed and so she sat next to him not wanting to make him uncomfortable.

She knew that if her mother knew what she was doing she'd be killed but at sixteen and away from home this was what her choice was. At home had she met Junpei she would have run away to be here with him. She would do anything for the man who sat beside her. She looked up into those gray pools that she adored and smiled brightly. She was a little nervous being here she didn't know if he wanted her to spend the night but if he did she would.

She lay her head on his shoulder softly and closed her eyes just enjoying the emotions that ran through her being with him and touching him. The feelings that it brought out in her as she knew that no other could replace Jun.

"Would you like to read? We could read to each other or seperatly. I see all your books so I can tell that it is something you enjoy. Though my own collection may rival yours." she said looking up once again her happy self smiling up at him.

[Junpei]

Junpei almost laughed as she sat down next to him, rested her head on his shoulder, set the mood, and the asked if he wanted ro read. If that's what was truly on her mind then she had been isolated a lot longer than he thought.

"You sure you can handle reading a dark magic book?"

Junpei, being one to always prove his point, got up and grabbed a book off his desk, simply titled Advanced Dark Magic and it's uses. Sitting back down in front of her, legs crossed once more Junpei licked his thumb and began to flip through pages, looking for a specific spell. Running into it on page 327 he smirked to himself and then flipped over the book. What was on the page coudl only be described as heart stopping. There sat a mage, only he was missing half an arm and that stump was now stone.

"The effects of a freeze speel gone very bad. This is a light dose of what all my books contain, still feel liek reading?"

Not waiting for the answer Junpei closed the book and turned to the desk. lightly tossing the book it landed on the top of a 5 high stack and remained there. He turned back to Phae and awaited her response to all of this, it would be amazing if she was able to speak, most peopel fainted at that sight.

[Phae]

The picture in the book...if she had nightmares every night for a year it would be getting off easy. She closed her eyes tightly and turned her head when he shut the book. Of course like most pictures that you want to forget they stay in your mind replaying even when your eyes are closed.

She pulled her knees up to her chest and removed her head from his shoulder and placing it on her own knees her arms wrapped around her legs. Her head faced away from him. Eyes open or shut it didn't matter ... her mind still showed the image. A tear rolled down her face. She was only trying to come up with an idea of something to do.

What she really wanted to do she wasn't sure he did and so she was trying to think of something else. Reading...he had a lot of books he could have just told her that it wasn't something she should see he didn't have to show her. She breathed heavily once not really knowing what to do now the image still fresh. She was silent not saying a word. He had proven his point...very well.

[Junpei]

Great now Junpei felt like a total and complete ass. Instantly his persona changed and he had his arms wrapped around his love, carefully placing his head next to hers he wispered softly to her.

"I'm so sorry, if I had known you were going to be scared I would have never even mentioned a book at all."

Junpei's next five minutes would be spent holding and cooing sweet soft nothings to his love. He was genuinely afraid she was mad at him or scared to look at him. Promising himself mentally to never show her another one of his books he rocked her slightly, continuing the cooing.

"Phae im so sorry, i never meant to scare you. Oh how im sorry Phae."

Junpei didn;t care how long it took, he woudl be right here, with his love in his arms for the blunder he had made, and what a blunder it had been.

[Phae]

She heard his words and whispers and after a few minutes she looked up sitting back but not moving to his arms just yet. She had been shocked...more than shocked by what he had shown her. Sheltered? Yes a good word to describe Phae and that picture in thirty seconds had taken a huge dent in her amazement for magic. She knew that things like that happened but she didn't want to see them. She supposed eventually she would understand and even be better for the knowledge of how magic can go wrong but for now it was still fresh in her mind. Finally she spoke.

"Next time you don't want to do something just tell me okay. I didn't know that the books weren't for leisurly reading. I"m sorry." she said in a low voice looking down at her hands which were now in her lap her legs still pulled up close to her.

"I..." she broke off fighting back tears that threatened to come. Not the ones tha tshe had supressed earlier though if she let these current ones go those were sure to follow. She swallow and wiped the two tears that fell off her cheeks. "I just thought it was something we could do together.. I ... I didn't know what you wanted to do!"

She looked up sharply her blue eyes held pain but she only glanced for a moment before looking back down again.

"What..do you want to do then?" she asked.

[Junpei]

Junpei stroked a stray hair away from her face before she spoke, he really felt horrible right now, and so kept her close to him. She was talking, he was listening to 100% of it and he even went so far as to go over her words in his head again, making sure he knew of it inside and out. Her last few words stuck in his head like glue, that's all they wanted, both of them and he had been to dense to just see it in front of him.

"Shhh, I know you wanted to do something together. I shouldnt have shocked you like that, i'm so sorry Phae. Why don't we just rest for a bit, that way we can think of something to do together."

Pulling her down with him Junpei laid his head on a pillow and held Phae close to him, still his heart raced. Here he was holding the girl of his dreams and laying in bed with her. To most it would seem he had only one thing on his mind, but for him he had thousands of things on his mind. The one that topped his list though was apologizing to Phae as much as he could. He had probably just twisted her innocent view of magic, oh how horrid he felt right now. Running a soft hand through her hair he kissed her forehead, feeling so apologetic he couldn't go two sentences without apologizing.

"I'm so sorry Phae."

[Phae]

"I'm so sorry Phae."

She heard these words as the most loving hand in the world moved softly through her hair. She couldn't help but smile. Laying down being held by the only man she could ever love she couldn't stay mad...but it wasn't mad she was feeling it was hurt and pain. She looked up at him her soft hand going to cup his cheek.

"It's all right, really." she said smiling. Truth is it was okay. She knew she would never forget the picture she had seen but she wasn't going to let it bother her for long that wasn't her style.

"So what should we do then?" she asked looking into those gray eyes waiting for his answer. She wanted to do anything and everything. She just wanted to be with Jun and right now that was what she was doing.

[Junpei]

"Mmmm there' a tough one. Sorry."

Junpei figured he would be doing that for a while, hell he knew he would be doing that for a while. The funny thing was he wasn't even sure why, she had said it was ok, but he still kept thinking he should apologize. Shakign his head slightly to ignore the thought he moved onto problem two, what to do now they they were lying here in his bed, in pajamas, and trying to figure out what to do. Junpei wouldn't even risk magic right now, not even a simple trick. Loish was't here so that ruled out messing with him, and all of his books were pretty much guaranteed to shock his love to death. Sighing with no results he looked at her and shurgged, his hand still idly running through her hair.

"Honestly I can't think of a darn thing, unless you just wanna lay here for the next few hours... then again that doesn't really solve the fact that we're both bored now does it?"

Leaning in a bti closer Junpei smiled at her, his eeys scanning hers for any sign of hesitation, he kissed her, another deep kiss liek before. More than to just say he was sorry this kiss was to maybe spark her mind into finding an idea, whatever that may be.

[Phae]

Phae thought about what she wanted to do. Books...yep been there tried that..it went badly. Tv...nope...stereo no again. She looked up at the fantastic ceiling and felt his hand running through her hair. It was so soothing. So comforting. She smiled when he looked down at her and told her that he couldn't come up with anything. She did want to lay here with him. And they way they could lose themselves in each others eyes would probably make the hours go by.

She looked up and his eyes met hers as he came in for another kiss. Her heart leapt into her throat as it seemed to do when this happened his lips touching hers in a deep kiss. Instinctivly Phae's arms went up and her hand set on the back of his neck as she kissed him back. She tried to convey every feeling she had for him in the simple meeting of thier lips.

Her heart raced against her ribcage and her breath quickened. Her body seemed to come alive underneath him. Her eyes were closed and she couldn't see him but she knew exactly what he looked like in her mind. This was the most wonderful place to be.

[Junpei]

Junpei was lost in that moment when their lips met, he was every single time they did to. Reaching over her he supported himself on her right arm so he was more over her and let the kiss break, opening his eeys he could see her hair spread out a bit below her, pooling as it were. He couldn't beieve how incredibly beautiful she looked, she looked liek an angel, an angel that had blessed him with her mere presense.

Leaning down again he placed another deep kiss on her lips, not anting the feelings that were pacing between the now to end. Instinctivly his other hand found the side of her face and cupped it lightly, he couldn't believe what she did to him, the way she made him act and feel. This time when he pulled back he did so but let his teeth graze her lower lip, not even realizing he ahd done it Junpei opened his eyes and smiled softly down at her.

"I wouldn't complain if you couldn't think of anything."

His voice was just above a wisper, adn with the window above him opened the soft night breeze provided the perfect chill to make them being together seeem right. Junpei still wondered if she was going to push him away now, was she omfortable with this? He didn't know how to respond to all this, his body just told him to act adn he did.
