Dev flopped down on his bed. He had spent the last three hours being tested and poked and prodded by the Staff and the Security. He had memorized the student handbook in a matter of minutes, and spent half an hour painting the walls of his new room. He might not know any magic yet, but he did a darn good job on painting by hand! The walls were a deep sea blue, with a general landscape of in the distance of one. He didn't know why he had painted himself into the middle of the ocean, but it felt peaceful. IF he wanted to change it he would. Hard work never messed with him. Neither did learning. If you can teach it, I can learn it. He thought this to himself. It was a coomon saying of his mothers, except she had always said it about him rather than herself. Dev flopped back onto his back. He was a little tired. He felt the Mana in his blood and used it to rebuiled itself and his stamina. It was a trick his parents had taught him before they died. He stood and walked out into the hall. He didn't have any classes for a long while, so he would use the Library instead.
