Phaedra couldn't describe the feeling of the spells he cast over them. She watched everything though her eyes shooting open when he clasped her legs and stood. She was worried about being to heavy but the boy now carrying her on his back seemed to be perfectly capable of handling the girl.
Around her everything was amazing in hues of blues and she watched as the people around them did not see them hear them feel them unless they hit them by accident. It was as if they didn't exist it was wonderful. She could watch everything and she could close her eyes feeling the comforting warmth of her friend. And so she did tired so tired she closed her eyes.
Suddenly out of the hustle and bustle of the school he began to sing and her own eyes opened once more and they colors seemed gone now everything looking normal again as she listened to the words of his song. She knew that he didn't know she was German and from Germany but this song and the one from the night before where all songs that seemed to soothe her even more than normal because they were in her native tongue the one her mother sang to her in as a young girl.
The song finished as they still walked on and her head still lay on his back up by his shoulder as she watched her surroundings.
"Vielen Dank." she whispered. Thank you it meant.
She decided to share something with this boy that had been shared with no one this far at Arcane. She could sing and sing well but she had not and did not sing often a bit embarrassed by the talent. She just didn't enjoy singing out loud too much but had been told many times that her voice was beautiful. To Phae she didn't see it that way but this silent boy was about to get a gift he would never know the significance of. Not even Junpei had heard her sing before.
