The only reason Jyo wasn't completely backlashed by her counter was because it had happend before. He felt a thin cut and then Talbot spoke.
He nodded. "You have an impressive amount of skill with that form of magic. I assure you I have control over the ability I do have. I would not have done so if it had the chance of hurting a sparring partner." he said as he resumed his stance.

Gaining some feeling back in her leg, Talbot shifted and swung diagonally, this time her intent simply to drive him back a little bit, "Reguardless! The next time you're in my head I'll make sure you get trapped! So stay out of my head!"
As she spoke, Talbot swayed and struck at him blade tip facing the sky- the intent still only to keep him back.

Jyo didn't waste anymore time. When Talbot had swung he stepped forward and darted around the weapon. He was paste the blade now. All he had to do to keep safe from her weapon was to creat a wall out of his magic behind him grnated his mana was feeling a strain simply because of the constant use not the power being used.
Jyo swung his weapon and it was to stop mere inches away from Talbot's neck. "I would stop speaking until we are done. Being distracted like that is the quickest road to defeat and death." He said.

Talbot sound herself facing the end of Jyo's blade- she had gotten distracted and this was her own fault- damn her for being so defensive.
She held up her hands, "Seems you've one. Well done. Mind taking a few steps back, so I can shake you hand?"
Talbot looked around- they had drawn a crowd- Gods help them. All the people who had rejected her before now stared at the two in awe- "Best to set a good example right?"

Jyo smiled and stepped back sheathing his weapon and held out his left hand. "You are a good opponet. Perhapes next time we will not underestimate each other so much." He said smiling to have a worthy foe. This had been a draining battle as his magic had been in constant use.

Talbot smirked and shook his hand, a soft giggle and murmer burst from the crowd.
"Next time," she smiled, "I think we'll be twice as great and will vertainly be a spar to remember."
She let go of his hand and looked about- what a great day.

I look forawrd to it. I migt have to switch weapons if I am to go against you again though." he said and then gave a bow. "I'll take my leave of you for now. I hope we meet again soon. Perhapes we will be able to just talk for a bit." He said.
He then turned to walk off the training grounds. The crowd parted without a word. They looked after him and then when he was out of sight they looked to Talbot again.

"Next time I'll bring some candy for ya', "Talbot answered Jyo, she didn't look as he left- never watch a good opponent leave
Talbot spun her staff and tapped the pole end on the ground, "Strange how I thought this was a training ground, not a peep show! C'MON! I'LL TAKE ON ANY OF YOU! COME SHOW ME WHAT YOU'VE GOT!"
When no response came, Talbot heaved a sigh and left in the opposite direction of Jyo- she would at least train a little more if anything! Stupid gawkers!
