The deck was indeed breathtaking. The stars in the sky seemed to brighten as they stepped out. The blackness of the sky seemed to make the stars look like diamonds. She smiled as she looked up at them. It was truly a romantic setting if there ever was one. Out on the vast ocean with a boy she was growing to care greatly for even in such a short time.
"It's breathtaking." she said softly as she looked up at the stars. The tiny pinpoints of light reflecting in her green eyes.
Her eyes looked over at Corsair and she smiled. He really did look wonderful tonight. The suit really did suit him well. It fitted him as well as her dress fit her. She leaned into him slightly unsure of what to say she closed her eyes and enjoyed being here in a place like this with him.

Corsair put an arm around Midori as she leanded against him. He felt so lucky to have her with him. He looked down at her and once more was breathless. he didn't think that anyone could compare to her beauty. Not from what he saw. And the fact that he genuinly liked her as a person doubled that breathless feeling.
They stayed there for a while looking at the stars when Corsair spoke. "Midori. I know we just met. But I was wondering. Would you care to be my girlfriend. I'm not sure if you would refere to it that way. But I guess all I'm saying in terms that are familiar is that I would like to start a relationship. I'm not sure where things would go. But i know I want to give it a chance." He said as he looked down strait into the emerald eyes that kept rawing him in.

Her eyes traveled up to him and she smiled. She blushed too but she didn't know why. Looking back out at the ocean the gentle waves slapping against the boat as she watched the starlight reflect off of it. His arm moved around her and she couldn't help but let a large smile cross her face.
"You...you're girlfriend?" she asked softly looking up at him. She looked right into his eyes and blushed deeply. "I would.. be so honored."
She stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek gently. She leaned into him even more but the decided to move in front of him. She now stood between him and the railing. She looked up into his eyes.

It's a yes. She wants to do the same thing He thought with excitment and smiled when she kissed his cheek. She was soon in front of him and he was looking down at her. this night seemed to be working out perfectly for him and hopfully her as well.
He put his arms around her just below the base of her wings and pulled her closer but only slightly so he could stare into her eyes. He stayed like this for a while wondering how things would turn out for them both now. This was the quickest he had jumped into a relationship. But he found it seemed to already have a stronger hold on him than others. Soon he leaned in and kiss midori fully. Last night had been one thing. But now it felt severly different.

It seemed he was relieved by her answer and she smiled. There was something about him. She wanted to be as close to him as she could. He made her happy and he accepted who and what she was. It was hard to do that. She would think anyway. She had green hair, green wings, and tatoos on her body. Who wouldn't find her weird. Yet, this man here had found her interesting.
The kiss was different than before. It was much more passionate and filled with much more feeling than before. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled herself close as she kissed him back. She seemed to shiver just slightly with his kiss. Her hand went inside his suit jacket so that she could carress his sides gently.

(OOC: This is my original prom post. I SHOULD have put it here. Many apologies.)
As Onira approached the transporter, his mind kept up with numerous insults to it's possibly dumbass body. Many questions had to be ask while that particular one got dressed for such a thing, revolving mostly around lack of intelligence, possibilities of what else he could do, and to conclude, why he was so nervous. Of course, he came up with a few justifiable reasons. He wondered on if it was because Phae might be there, but that was quickly turned down. He had settled his oddity with Phaedra Weiss already. Of course, there was also Shea, but as well, he figured himself on fairly solid ground with her. Actually, what had really floated to the surface was the opposite of girls. It was the lack of them. He had no date!
Quickly Onira smacked his forehead, muttering a few low words before he stepped into the transporter.
"I am such a geek."
And he was there. Standing in the middle of the ballroom, looking upon the many happy faces. Some students were dancing, some were eating, some were just talking. Hell, some were just looking out upon the water. But, where was his place in all this? Quite soon he came to the conclusion of relaxation. So, he swiflty walked over and out onto the main deck, walking now around the ship and past the windows looking out from the ballroom.
Finding a suitable place for himself, he rested against the side-railing, looking out as so many others did, but now by himself, as opposed to the large crowds. Now, without so many others, he could see how nice of an evening it in-fact was. Beautiful, if one in-fact were to go that far. Given Onira's attitude, he would.
"Too bad."
Yes, his muttered words rang true in his heart. It was too bad that such a thing had to occur without another, but of course, he would nto mind entirely. Maybe the quiet skies would give him some time to think. Or maybe they'd just depress. One would merely have to wait and see where the night took him.

Corsair decided not to break the kiss yet and felt her hands go under his suit jacket and roam his sides. He raised on hand lightly stroking her ear again and the other stroked one of her wings. After several minutes he broke the kiss and stopped stroking her wing and ear. "So what do you say we head back and have a dance as an actual coupleinstead of just prom dates?" he asked with a smile.

The kiss lasted some time. And while her hands ran up and down his sides in a gentle manner his own hands were busy. The one stroking her ear which caused a moan to come out of her mouth as she had been unprepared for such a touch at prom. The other was stroking her wings whilch made her smile inside.
In time the kiss ended and she opened her green eyes as the stroking stopped. He was using that weakness against her. Somehow she didn't seem to mind now that it was Cor instead of someone else. She smiled up at him and heard his words.
"I would like that very much."

Corsair grinned. "Well then let's head in. We can always return here again." He said holding out his arm for hers to go through. Once they were ready he led Midori back into the ballroom. Now he had not just a date. but a girlfriend. One he genuinly had feelings for that he couldn't describe.
OOC: Yeah sorry about the shortness. but as it was just leading to going back inside...

It was the night that most girls dreamed of. A dress just perfect for them. A date that would glide them across the dance floor and a night that would always be remembered. And it could be yet, she was alone of course. She had only arrived this morning but hearing about the prom she thought it would be the perfect place to meet people and perhaps dance the night away. Dressed in pink folds of silk the beaded bodice clung to her sunkissed skin just right. Her blonde hair was too short to do much with but she had hung little crystalline beads throughout it so that it would sparkle none the less. Aurora leaned against the thick rail of the ship looking out at the beautiful stars but more importantly at their reflections off the waters surface. She looked at the waves distorting the small dots so high above the ship. Moving away from the rail she began to walk the deck her silk dress swishing lightly on the wooden planks. The pool was lit by white lights beneath it and though she didn't want to go for a swim it was nice and quiet here. All the noise coming from inside the ship did not penetrate this area. Slipping off the small silver high heeled sandals she sat them aside and sat very unladylike on the floor of the deck beside the pool and let the breeze run through her hair letting the crystal beads dance and sparkle. It was lonely but in a way she didn't mind. She had a hard time meeting people because she was so shy at first. And so she sat on the deck just enjoying the night. How often did a Russian girl from a middle class family get to sit on a ship as extravagant as this.

A perfect night for an event such as this as Yoshinya inhaled the wonderful air the cruise ship going on it's planned course gracefully almost. He ran his fingers through his hair as he heard the sound of music playing. His suit was more casual then most having no tie but, it still looked good on him being a black with silver trim, a silver silk shirt underneath it. He had only recently arrived at the academy and the event sounded too good to pass up so to speak. Still there was someone else on the deck with him that someone being a beautiful looking woman in a pink dress that he casually approached. Or at least as casually as possible walking over gracefully to where he stood giving a small smile. She looked rather lovely in the evening's light as he drew a pink rose and covered it in nether fire the rose untouched from the flames.
Let's greet the lady.
He was soon beside Aurora and gave a smile at her as he moved the hand holding the black flaming rose in front of her and gave a smile.
"A magical evening such as this should not be spent alone," he said softly to Aurora. The flames dissipated revealing a beautiful pink rose that had the thorns cut and he gently placed it in her hair.
"Allow me, Yoshinya Eidorian, to be your escort tonight dear lady," he said with a smile as he gazed into her eyes and touched her cheek lightly.

Lucian sighed as he walked out onto the deck and stared up at the stars. Just as he thought he was going to get a dance, Ziare's fiance appeared from nowhere and whisked her away. Alas he was alone again, he tugged uncomfortably at his collar again. How longed to be in his loose fitting combat robes, they were so much easier to move in.
Then he noticed her, a vision of beauty in a pink silk dress. His hopes flared up briefly, could she actually be alone? Then reality started to kill his hope, no she was far too attractive to be at a dance like this alone. Lucian shrugged briefly and decided to approach her. He did not want to pass up on a chance to actually meet a girl here at the dance. Lucian would never know if she was alone or not if he did not approach her and talk to her.
"You are alone too I take it," Lucian said with a grin as he sat down beside her, "I apologize I should introduce myself first, I am Lucian Dragomir," he said in his thick Romanian accent as he held his hand out to her. In his excitement though, he had not noticed Yoshinya and his grin fell a little as he noticed how much smoother he was than Lucian.
Lucian had never been much of a romancer and he was clearly outclassed by Yoshinya's advances. He sighed inwardly, but he hoped he was not going to lose another chance at a dance. Especially not with a girl who was obviously alone, at least this time there was no chance that a fiance would come out of nowhere to snatch her up.

It was a rather chill night out on the boat. But she didn't mind. Despite the fact that her dress was doing little to keep her warm the last place she wanted to be was in the ballroom just watching the couples dance. She didn't mind not having a date persay but she definatly didn't want to just stand there and watch.
But soon a flower appeared in front of her a pink rose that was then threaded into her hair and she smiled. His hand touched her cheek softly as he asked to be her escort. She smiled and took the rose from her hair and smelled it gently. But before she could answer another voice came out of no where and she turned to smile at the next man that came up to her.
Silently she wanted to check and make sure something wasn't wrong. Was she wearing some kind of male attraction perfume. She almost chuckled to herself as she stood on her own accepting neither's hand and slipped her shoes back on.
"Thank you both for welcoming me to this dance." she said very shyly as she blushed and looked down and away from the both of them. "And now I have a predicament it seems as two men have asked me to dance and I fear I must pick one." she chuckled.
She sat down on one of the deck chairs shyly and placed her hands in her lap so that she could think about what she wanted to say. She had not expected one person to ask her to dance muchless two.
"Perhaps we should get to know one another?" she offered and smiled pointing at the deck chairs next to her. "My name is Aurora."

Lucian sighed a little, the hope that had flared up when he first saw her was starting to dim. This Yoshinya fellow had him quite outclassed in the romance department. He oozed with charm, smoothness, and style. Lucian however had none of those, at least not in any amount that would be impressive. He was a rather simple man and being from a remote village in the Romanian countryside he really never had need to develop traits and talents such as the ones Yoshinya seemed to flaunt quite impressively.
"As I said before I am Lucian Dragomir," he said, with a slight but polite bow, "I'm afraid I'm quite outmatched in charm and grace by this fellow here," Lucian confessed, indicating Yoshinya, "It is, regardless, a pleasure to meet you Miss Aurora," Lucian said, taking her hand and kissing it respectfully. It was the normal greeting for a woman one hoped to impress where he came from.

"It is not a problem at all I am new here to this school as well and decided to come and try to learn of this new place. The ball sounding like a fantastic place to meet people," Alas a romantic notion is not easily done when someone else makes an asking as well and Yoshinya just calmly gazed at Lucian for a moment having wondered briefly just where the man came from. Still he smiled good-naturedly as he headed over to the seat to the right of her and sat down facing her with a smile on his lips. Sure she had to pick one that was obvious but, Yoshinya had no intentions to make this some sort of competition and ruin this girl's evening from it. That would just be wrong and almost uncouth as he turned to face her again listening to her words. Aurora such a beautiful name and he gave a smile at her.
"Aurora...like the aurora lights that encompass the northren-most skies. A beautiful name it suits you," Yoshinya said with a smile at her as he streched out in his seat perfectly comfortable since the top button of his suit was undone. She still had his rose and it meshed well with her dress.
"As I have said I am Yoshinya Eidorian, I came to the Academy from Japan in order to better expand my knowledge of the world that's around us. Being a channeler I can hear the very spirits of the world, and use meditation and focus to bring forth my magic. It's time consuming admittedly but, the results are worth it," he said with a smile as he kept his gaze on her.
"Tell us of course of yourself Ms. Aurora what brings you here on this starlit evening?" he asked with a smile.
