Sitting there under the stars she watched as the men began to introduce themselves. She smiled at the both of them and pulled her knees up to her chest the silk folds hiding them as she kicked off her shoes once again. She hugged her knees as she watched them both and sat the pink rose to the side she would not forget it but too much attention and it would wilt.
She chuckled at Lucian's comment about being outclassed in charm. But what he didn't realize was that charm was nice but sincerity won over charm.
"Well met, Lucian." she said softly with a smile to him and turned her attention to Yoshinya and listened to his speel about channeling and what not. And then asked about herself. She could see he was definatly a charmer which was nice she had to admit. The rose had been a lovely touch. How the flames melted away to reveal the rose hidden inside.
"I am Aurora Rose." she began. "I'm from Russia, today was my first day at the academy and I heard about this dance and decided I might meet some fellow students if I went. I am a rune mage. Activating runes on my daggers that I can throw or weild as I see fit." she said with a smile.
"What sorts of things do you do in your spare time?" she asked them both watching their reactions. She didn't really want to chose one she wanted to get to know them and perhaps spend the night with them getting to know both and having a good time. Who said you actually had to dance at prom?

Lucian's grin lit up a little as she mentioned the focus of her magic was runes. This was fantastic, he had yet to meet another rune mage. This was, in fact, the first time Lucian had met a mage that went to the Academy who's magic style was so similar to his. The only exception was that her runes were on her dagger whereas his were tattooed to his arms. Lucian sighed as he watched Yoshinya work his charms. This could not be the second time he was going to lose a chance at a dance because of some slick, charming guy. But then again maybe romance just was not in Lucian's future, maybe he should just settle for being a friend and never anything more.
"I too am a rune mage Aurora," he said with a grin, "Only my runes are tattooed to my arms as opposed to engraved on a set of daggers," he said, rolling up the right sleeve of his tux in order to show her the runic tattoos that ran up and down his arm, "As for my spare time I mostly train my body and fighting abilities as my style of magic requires me to be an adept close quarters fighter," he said, rolling his sleeve back down, "As for my home, I am from a small village in the hills of Romania," he explained, "I have no family...they are all dead," he said, his voice trailing off a little.
"I am quite interested actually as to how your runes work," he said with a chuckle, his spirits lifting after taling about his family, "You are actually the first I have met to use a magic style so similar to my own, perhaps we could get together sometime and compare our abilities," he said with a grin as he shifted a little. The suit was so damn annoying, how he longed to be in his more comfortable robes.

Yoshinya leaned against his seat letting Lucian speak first as was polite as he took in the information about Aurora. Yes it was rather nice and she had such beautiful hair that seemed to shimmer in the evening's light as he made himself comfortable where he sat but, he was attentive and polite as he heard she was from Russia. A beautiful land during the winter it was almost like a fairy tale at times in the countryside with the winter's snowfall making it more innocent and serene. His eyes met her's for a brief and wonderful moment and he gave a smile at her. His white lockes blowing aside gently the gem around his neck shimmering ever so lightly as he let the two speak before he spoke so that he could decide his words.
It seems that Lucian is pressing very hard for this moment.
Yoshinya finally spoke he liking this refreshing pace of people getting to know each other.
"I'm afraid I don't train as much as Lucian here my magic requires meditation and focus meaning I have to hone my mind more then my physical abilities. For hobbies I mostly enjoy just walking aroudn enjoying the outside world, sketching things, and having conversation with friends," he said with a smile at her as he watched her and shifted in his chair.
"We've told you our hobbies Aurora, tell us about yours, and as an extra question what's your favorite season?"

Aurora was acutally having fun at prom and she wasn't even dancing. No corsage decked her wrist and no special date on her arm. In fact, she was having fun just getting to know the two boys that had come up to her at the same time.
They were both interesting and she found herself liking what each of them had to say. She leaned back in the pool chair looking probably rather weird for sitting there in her prom dress but she wasn't too worried about dancing at this moment. Lucian showed her his tatoos and she reached out running her hand over the tattoos.
"How amazing. So this is how you tap into your magic? That's amazing." She concentrated on his rune and her fingers sparked in flame she pulled back a flame dancing on the end of her finger. "Now that is just neat."
She turned to Yoshinya as he began to speak this time and she listened as he spoke about using meditation. She looked over at him and wondered just how he used his magic. She would have to ask them both for a demonstration one day.
"Well, I sew. I embrodery. I make everything from my own clothing to my own blankets and bedding. Like that." she said with a smile. "It's my passion. Often times you'll see me with my window open enjoying the breeze, music on my stereo, and working with fabric." she explained and blushed slightly at the probably strange habit.
"As for my favorite season it would be winter. It's like a fresh start. The world goes into a deep sleep and when it wakes the most beautiful flowers and scenery blooms and springs up from the world. It's magical. In such a non magical way. It's so pure the way the cycle dies and starts all with the same season." she said and blushed very deeply.

Lucian watched as she touched her finger touched one of his runes and on her fingertip danced a gentle flame. He grinned, no one else had ever been to harness the powers of his runes. This girl, Aurora, was certainly and interesting one. Lucian was looking forward to learning more about her, if he could ever get her away from Yoshinya.
He smiled faintly as she talked about winter and her hobbies. Ah she was a poetic one, she had the soul of an artist. Lucian could respect that, he never did have much skill when it came to anything art related. That was not to say he was a meathead he was just more skilled in a fight than he was with a paintbrush or using words to express emotions and paint pictures in the mind.
"Winter is indeed a lovely season, the necessary death that triggers the re-birth of spring," he said with a nod and a grin, "You are the first, besides myself, to ever harness any power from my runes," he said, noting the way she drew a flame from his fire rune, "Perhaps sometime you could show me just how you use your runes in a fight," he said with a grin.

Yoshinya gave a smile as she talked about fabrics and almost wanted to comment that he had some skill in it himself. His uncle had aunt had this crazy thing about silk worms and doing it the old-fashioned way making things by hand rather then just buying them. He gave a small smile and listened to her talk about fabrics and her hobby this was truly the thing that she liked to do. He watched her activate one of the runes to his surprise as there was a soft whisper in his mind and he closed his eyes for a moment letting them talk and speak Lucian already trying to schedule time with her. Yoshinya opened his eyes and the gem glowed for a moment a small spirt dragon emerging from it and taking the size of a house cat he lightly petting it. Where it was a spirit and etheral for others he could touch it as if it were solid.
"My uncle and aunt would love your stuff then they raise a silk worm farm on the family compound and they always insist that if it is not done by hand then it is not worth the price. When I was younger I learned a bit of it myself and I'm rather good with working with patterns and making designs appear in fabric," Yoshinya said with a smile as he lightly stroked the small dragon.
"Winter is perhaps the most loveliest season of all because for those that look you can find the hidden beauty that waits to bloom in the spring. It's one of the best things about exploring in the winter there is always hidden beauty that you wonder what it will become in the later months of the year when the world has renewed itself. It's peaceful and quiet the earth lulled in a gentle sleep the spirits waiting for spring to warm the land once more," Yoshinya said softly it was obvious he was intune with something. He opened his eyes that gleamed in the starlight for a moment.
"I'm sorry you have me rambling it's just one of my favorite things," Yoshinya said with an apologetic smile. "Rilith my gaurdian spirit is of an ice element so I am rather attached to winter. Perhaps something fun now like what's your favorite snack and your favorite fabric to work with? For snacks for me it has to be rice cakes you can put anything on them." he said with a broad grin.

Jyo kept up his run from the ballroom looking for Zaire wondering where she could have gone. He didn't like the thought of her out here and alone in such a state. Seeming as he was the root of her being upset. "Zaire!" He shouted hoping she would respond. Not hearing anything he kept running to a less populated area where she would have probably have run to.
He soon found her curled up in a chair sobbing. He qalked over and somehow didn't tend to make any noicse. He put his hands on her shoulder and planted a kiss on her heard. It didn't take long but he did figure out what the most likely possibility of her being like this was. "You know. Giving you up for a dance is a very different thing than giving up loving you more than anything else." He said gently.

Ziare cried. She was just lost. Right now everything seemed stacked against her. Jyo had come back from the coma a changed man and it was hard to get used to the changes. It didn't help if he disappeared suddenly.
She felt him touch her on the shoulder and the kiss on the head. She didn't have to look up to know who it was. His touch alone told her. No one had hands like Jyo. The calluses from sword play the soft skin in between. They were his and his alone. She looked up after his words tears draining from her crystalline eyes.
"Damnit Jyo Mashima. You come back after leaving without telling me and you just hand me off like it means nothing. Like I mean nothing. Do you not realize how hard it is for me when the love of my life goes off without word? You could have been dead for cripes sake and you expect me to just be happy when the very first night you come back you hand me off like some spare jacket? Think would you?" she asked as she turned her head away from him looking out over the vast ocean though through her blurred eyes she couldn't see it.

"Im sorry. I really am. I didn't mean anything by what I did. But it seems you did promise him a dance. I wasn't particularly happy about it. But I was willing to let it slide. I guess I'm just not good at showing how I feel of late. I'm no sue why." He said walking around and gelntly pulling her from her seat then pulling her against him. "But I still love you just as I always have. That hasn't changed at all. I swear." He said brushing he hair back from her face with his hand.

Ziare looked up at Jyo when he began speaking again. She listened carefully. She was probably over reacting but she couldn't take it back now. He pulled her up out of the chair and hugged her. He lay her head against his chest gently letting him hold her for a moment.
She pulled back and smiled when he pushed her long hair away from her face. She nodded and kissed him gently before she moved over to the railing gathering herself.
"I believe you. I just missed you so much when you were gone I guess I'm over reacting." she admitted.

"Or your emotion could be exactly correct," Thalomin said as a mighty black stallion stood on the air behind Ziare the flames showing on the hoofs. In fact it was encircling them. Their was a flaming trail of hoofprints that was quickly fading behind the mount. Thalomin turned his attention to Jyo for a moment and then swept Ziare up into a warm cloak and wrapped it around her craddling her in her arms. He gazed at Jyo with uninterest as he snapped the reins and the mount reared back for a moment. The air it was standing on as if solid ground. He smirked slightly as the hellish horse began to run at a speed faster then normal horses could ever dream of traveling. Even race horses would be able to catch the gallop of his nightmare. The flaming mane had no heat no damage as it snorted out smoke which never reached Ziare as they rode. Several packs were attached to the saddle Thalomin having planned for the trip.
All things are rewarded to those who are patient.
Thalomin wasn't even affected by the gait as he held Ziare in his arms wrapped in the cloak he was in his usual outfit well-suited for the travels in the colds of the antartic. He gave a small smile at Ziare and nodded at her.
"My apologies but, there is no time like the present and if we delayed any longer then the south pole would be entering the darkness months where it would be dangerous." He said with a small smile as he continued riding with her. The flaming hoofprints dissapearing mere seconds after the air was tread.

OOC: I guess I can be kind enough to play along. Be glad Jyo wouldn't risk harming Zaire or you'de be nothing more than a pile of ash ;D
"Zaire!" Jyo shouted and gathered his energy into his wind powers taking flight after Thalomin. Jyo knew Zair could hold her own against the man but that wasn't the point. The point was Jyo wasn't going to just sit by as someone literally snatched Zaire away.
Jyo felt the wind blow past him as he pursued Thalomin and Zaire. But he couldn't risk an attack as it would have a lage chance of hurting Zaire. Eventually Jyo lost sight of his quarry. He could fly sure but speed wasn't the main focus of the ability. Jyo narrowed his eyes. You'll die for this wretch. You've made a horrid enemy. And if you go too far Zaire will be able to easily destroy you if I don't get to you first. He thought as he hovered in the cool air. Jyo flew back to the ship after a moments reflection. he had things to get together so he could go after Zaire. He knew where he needed to go after that. The roblem was that it might take a whie to find them unless he called in some favors.

Ethan bursted through the doors of the deck, Isis in hand (If she permits of course). On the deck, one could easily see the beauty of the Night. Stars were out filling the sky with light as the moon shinned heavenly from above. Sounds of music were in the background, not too loud but loud enough to add a certain mood to the deck.... Meanwhile, the deck for the most part was clear, as many of the students seemed to have either taken to the hotel rooms and that this part of the ship (While spacious and had a beautiful view) was a bit out of the way. Meanwhile, the rolling sea tide filled the background with the music, adding to the beauty of this place.
Meanwhile, Ethan slowly let go of Isis as he came upon the railing of the Ship, placing both his hands on the metal bars before he turned back and looked at the lovely Isis, starlight shinning down upon the regal man....
"Lovely isn't it?" He asked

Bursting through the doors the sea spray hit Isis in the face. The cool water was refreshing in any sense and she felt Ethan's hand in her own. His hand was warm on the chill night and as soon as it left so that he could go to the railing it was cold. She wrapped her arms around her body running her hands up and down her arms trying to keep warm in her rather non existant dress.
He turned around and she smiled at the way that the stars and moonlight fell upon the man. Giving him a glimmer in his eyes that might have been there if he weren't so cold and distant. Something that she yearned to see when he looked at her. Something like that anyway.
"It is a truly magnificent view." she said totally not meaning the ocean but he didn't have to know that.
She stepped closer to him and as he faced her and she faced him she leaned into his chest softly. He was so warm and she was so cold little bumps having broken out on her skin despite her best and continual efforts. But she didn't want to go back inside. They had danced and it had been wonderful but right now she wanted to get to know Ethan even better.
"Ethan, I was wondering about your life. I mean, I read your file before you were in my class so I know what it says. But.. why do you never smile?" she asked softly as she leaned against him still hoping against all hope he would wrap his arms around her and hold her to him.
What she wanted most in life was someone to take care of her. She had lived a hard tough life, even if it wasn't evident and sometimes she wished that someone else would hold her like she was precious. Like she meant something to them. But alas she had not found it yet. Seemed her body and wardrobe tended to attract the wrong sort yet oddly enough she never changed either. Hoping one day someone might see past her actions and body and into her as a person. Yet, that was too much to ask for wasn't it?

Ethan stared calmly at the sky, unsuspecting that his teacher was looking at him more as a man then a student. Regardless, when his teacher spoke the Weaver turned around to stare at his teacher, watching as she came closer and closer to him, until she fell onto the man, her head against his chest. Not knowing what to do, the Heir of the Yukimaru's placed his hands around the woman, holding her closely to his body, but not too tight to make it seem as though he was a pervert or something. Looking down at his teacher, his eyes remained cold as usual, his lips not even cracking into a smile, frown, or anything....
Just remaining as it was....
"Before everything, I think i was a normal boy. I might have been more disciplined then other children in my younger age, but at least then I had my emotions. Then my family fought over the next leader of the House, and everything went to hell. In the end of the bloodshed, the Yukimaru's were left devastated. The First and Second in line began their bloody war, while my Father who was Third tried to stay away as far as he could. However, in the end the First and Second were slain which left my Father as the new Heir to the throne. With that, I then became the next in line, forcing me to abandon my emotions to become a leader. In my training to be the Heir to the Throne, i was taught the idea of a Heart of Stone, for the better leaders are those who show no emotions"
With that, Ethan took a moment's break as he brushed Isis' heir a bit, moving some strands away from her delicate and yet lovely face.
"From then on, I lost my smile to be a better leader and to serve the family. My Heart of Stone is what is going to make sure the family doesn't turn in on itself when my father passes away......"
With that, the Weaver stopped as he took a deep breath. Ethan then slowly gazed into Isis' eyes, looking deeply into the fiery woman's with his own cold, nearly dead orbs.
"But enough of my life story... Tell me, how was your life?" He asked cold as usual
