hmm...if they go ethereal...technically they shouldnt be able to still absorb mana directly from you since the mana in your body is in the physical form.

granted i could be wrong but if they went ethereal, you'd be relatively safe, then when they became physical again, just kick the shit out of them >.>

If mana was physical you wouldn't be able to store it in your body, it'd change form and explode. :[ Magic is not corporeal, it's on a thread of it's own. You've got your ethereal, your corporeal, your spiritual, and your magical. That's how it works in that sense. So they could still mana drain you. But yes, you'd be relatively safe.

i meant that it was trapped within the physical form, preventing the ethereal from getting at it...though now that i say it again it doesnt really make sense because that should allow it to get at the mana easier.

still, it goes physical, kick its ass, it goes ethereal, wait.

What id like to know is how, if its physical, the voidwalker can take your mana since its trapped in another physical form. the way i see it it would have to go ethereal or corporeal in order to get to your mana unless you exude or release it no?

It's the method it uses. Nothing to do with forms, just a natural ability to drain mana. Kinda like a high powered vacuum.

Hmm. when i asked that i thought back to my own draining spell but that uses an aura of spirit element so my idea was still fairly relevent.

in any case, i dont think any one here has the ability to open a rift into the void...nor the power >.>

thats true but the way it is on here its classified as spirit element.

things involving spirit like a soul shot that does nothing to the physical body but instead damages the soul. that was i think auroths idea behind the "spirit element"

I'll laugh at spirit attacks against me anyway, demons are invulnerable to those, lest it's directly from the power of God himself. i.e. Angels, Saints, Martyrs. Blessed objects are destroyed upon contact with a demon. Like a crucifix; twould burst into flames if a demon touched it. Albeit the demon would burn his skin in that area off, but that's what happens.

it has nothing to do with that...seoligna simply absorbs what ever energy comes in contact with it and turns it into mana for Tristan, even heals minor wounds. (a hairline fracture would probably be the limit of its healing abilities)

BTW, is your...language or what ever for your spells made up or is there an actual language behind it?
