hmm...interesting. my odd named spells are either japanese or made up....to a degree

there was an old 8-bit RPG called treasure of the rudras and the basic words that i use in "Teolus" and "Seoligna" come from that game. they had no spirit thing so i modified the word for light and igna is obviously fire so Seoligna is "Soul Fire".

elementalism for the most part.

he also can use alchemy and basic magics that revolve around normal mana use such as if he were to gain teleportation or some other silly shit that doesnt have a specific style pursuasion.

Well, teleportation has a specific catagory it falls under. (Abjuration is dispelling, my bad. >_> My lithium is making my brain a wreck.) Channeling is what it fits under. You have to channel the appropriate amount of energies to move your molecules, one by one, at the speed of light, to one spot, and not fuck it up. :/

hmm, i suppose. and so no, he doesnt have any abjuring yet...i dont think. the only kind of dispelling ability he might have is an endurance spell that relies on a barrier (i dont even have the basic endurance spell yet so i havent even determined what advanced level spell he's gonna add to it is yet.)

Anyway, I love how you're trying to rewrite our belief's of magic. In all reality, if you want to enforce anything, go talk to The Designer, aka Auroth, and talk to him about it. Yes, I know what you're saying is actually correct, but following what's going on in this RP, quite a bit of it is wrong so far.

Example: It is very possible to effect the soul as I can take yours with a simple touch of the cystal on the end of my demon's tail.

If you're enhancing your endurance, then it's an enchantment, which is Alteration. The term Enchantments, come from Enchanters, ones who use Alteration, Transfiguration, and Channeling.

the enhancement is part of channeling since it comes from from the chi/ki/chakra/etc. part, though you are right, it is technically enchanting

Affecting the soul is different than harming the soul. And Demons can't do that to each other without authority from a mutual lord. And I've already recieved one mail from Auroth, and sent one to Auroth, detailing that it was his choice to actually correct or not.

Well. You could term taking one's soul from their body and ripping it apart with the power of the gem 'affecting' if you wish. It's both really, but hey, not my choice.

I've already soul bound one guy to me. Now he just needs to get his ass back here...

Bodies are just vessels. You can do some serious damage to them, emotionally and spiritually, but you can't hurtthe soul without the blood of Christ on your weapon.

Edit: D.I.D can get messy. Once D.I.D was thought to be schizophrenia, so they interchanged the terms. >_>
