Beast Revolution

[The Designer]

The Ogre, caught completely off guard as it tried to rush the Medical Site, but instead it was reduced to a Chicken without ever having a chance to try and resist or dodge the spell before it was turned into a Chicken, and then getting trampled upon in a ungratified manner.

Beyond that, there was a Ogre rushing still toward Jyo's group, it's hammer high as it tried to come down upon him.....

It seemed now the Beast men army was finished, their numbers culled bu the pincer tactic. Some ran away, but many remained and fought, only to die in bloody, violent deaths. Blood filled the courtyard as more and more died....falling down from barrages of bullets or became pieces of meat.....

However, a lone figure walked into the Courtyard, wearing nothing but a cloak around itself. Soon, he removed the cloak off it's head, and drew out two sickles out of it's side, howling into the moon. Obviously this was the leader of the Beast men attackers, coming into battle. Quickly it rushed after some Students, their heads went flying off as others felt the bite of the monster upon their flesh. Blood ran freely from it's spot as the Jackal looked up into the Dawning Sky, howling freely as it prepared for one last try....

[Midnight]

Joseph's attention was tore from the girl to the source of a deafening howl. Off a couple hundred meters was a jackelman weilding two scythes. The gunmage's grip on his weapon tightened as he swallowed hard. That would definately be the warleader. It would take a lot to take him down. Most likely he could block bullets. He glanced back at the girl, she was breathing heavily, as was he. Between the two of them they most likely could have brought him down earlier but, now...

"Yukiko...how much do you have left in you? I've still got about a third of my energy."

[Eldran]

Eldran's concentration on the delaying effect broke as the jackalman howled. His eyes were fluttering and he was wavering in and out of consciousness as his attention focused on the new threat. Sweat was pouring down his face, his body ached.

"My... friends... need... me..."

He leaned on his staff, half-dragging himself. Magic now, would severely drain him, and the healers would be a goodly time healing him this time around.

He buried the reality deep, smiled, and summoned forth his abilities one last time. Channeling his rage and anger, he raised a hand a channeled his abilties.

This time the wave only engulfed the jackal and it slowed him down. Eldran clenched his teeth and shook in exhaustion. He was channeling his very life-force. He would only channel until he had just enough to live, and then pass out.

Enemy at 1/2 Dex. Temporarily.

[Wolf, the Joker]

(Wolf steped forword. He was awake and looked ahead at the Jackal that was coming this way. He was a sleep at the orge attack and was rested. Wolf looked over at the mages and what remained of the fighters.)

EVERYONE!

(Wolf yelled so everyone would be looking at him at the time as he was about to talk to the whole camp or what remained of it.)

Hold your ground! We will not lets this demon past! All Mages and Gunners! Take aim and fire! Slowly it down! All close-range fighters! Get ready, as soon as it coming with in few meters... Move in an attack!

(With that said, Wolf drew five cards and got 4 of Spade, Jack of Club, Jack of Heart, 10 of Diamond, and 3 of Heart. Wolf grabed the Jack cards and threw them in front of him.)

Two of a kind. Jack of Club and Diamond. Doulbe Beam!

(The cards flew into both of his hand and started to glaw. Wolf thrusted his hands forword, shooting two beams at the Jackal. He hoped it would hold it back while the others rested for a bit and some of the mages and gunners fired.)

[The Designer]

Quickly the gunners and mages fired at the Jackal while some kid was casting a spell to slow down the Jackal as well. Quickly the beast dodged the bullets, moving in a beautiful yet deadly fashion as he nimbly avoided Eldran's spell, only losing a few points of his speed meter instead of one half. Even so, being slowed was still tantalizing, and quickly he casted a spell upon himself, enlarging his muscles to make him even more stronger. Quickly he rushed toward a few gunmen to the side, cutting them up as he moved down the ranks. However, he quickly felt the pain of two beams upon him, and rushed off toward Wolf, the man shooting at him, both his sickles up as he tried to come down with a good slice across his chest.....

[Wolf, the Joker]

(Wolf stoped his two beam shots and teh two Jacks went back into the bottem of the deck. He drew five cards but the attack was to fast. So Wolf just raised his left arm to block. Becouse of the Jackal's size Wolf flew back and droped his cards on the ground. The cards quickly flew right back into the bottem of his deck. His left arm was shaking and drew five more cards. He looked to see a 2 of Heart, Queen of Diamond, King of Heart, Ace of Heart, and 2 of Spade. With his left arm still shaking, he grabed the King of Heart and threw it infront of him.)

King of Heart, Pure Blade.

(The card few to the sword on the sheath and changed into the Pure Blade. Soon he threw the rest of his cards.)

2 of Heart and Spade, Doulbe Slash. Queen of Diamond, Wave. Acr of Heart, Fusion.

(The Ace card mixed the three other cards and placed themself on the Pure Blade. Wolf drew his sword and changred at the Jackal. Without a thought in his mind, Wolf swung his sword, making a strong wind blow at the Jackal, but the wind had more kick to it. With the use of the two 2 cards, the wind felt like rozer sharp.)

[The Designer]

Quickly The Jackal moved back, the winds cutting him as he tried to avoid it. He was good.....but The Jackal was better. Quickly the beast powered himself up with magic, and with it released it into the Courtyard, around himself and Wolf. The Gunman fires stopped as the darkness seemed to form a dome around the entire courtyard, bringing everyone into darkness. However though, the Jackal could see in the dark, and with it he rushed off toward Wolf, this time both his blades trying to come up to slash Wolf vertically at his sides....while his movements were hidden in the darkness....and Wolf couldn't see his cards....

[Leon]

After fighting for a good time in the back up group behind the enemy, being led by a man named Azrael Thantos. The battle was harsh, but Leon found now the time to start using his magic. The small group that was helping Leon noticed the Ogres at the gate and wanted to go help, even when the already dieing enemies here. So Leon would help them get there.

They formed a V like shape and rushed through as fast as they dare go. Sliced and cut, Leon took the lead swinging his spear through enemies and catching the falling weapons everynow and then in the skin. Cutting him pretty good. Others in the V where being killed and stopped, but they pushed on. finally reaching the court yard, they seemed too late a giant dark dome had over taken it. Leon had no way to understand what was going on, so he looked to the students still fighting and shruged, they held there positions for now. Hopefully they did nothing stupid, or it would be Leon's fault.

electricity exploded around Leon as he began to glow slightly with the energy he was using. He grabbed a hold of his right arm just below the elbow, with his left and dragged it across the air to point at the open part of the V formation they held. It seemed to suck in his glow and the electricity that shot from him all over his body. It formed into a ball after that, as finally Leon could use his Rah-Ken magic for something more than just showing off.

"Rah-Ken!"

The word itself seemed to go against nature, as it echoed through the battle field. The blast reached a small group of the enemies and ripped through them like a blade through wet toilet paper. This took a third of Leons full energy to produce, so now he had become a third weaker in everything. Now he really needed the protection of those around him, but he would still attempt to fight, he just had the magicel ability of a small child because of that attack.

((OOC: Sorry if I got anything wrong, I kinda skimmed through what I could of the fighting so far.))

[Wolf, the Joker]

(Wolf raised his armed up, having his Pure Blade in front and his Golden Claw behind his blade. The darkness wasn't that bad, but this was really bad. Seeing that some of the studets would try to go crazy. He had his guard up and waited trying to drown out the sounds from the other students.)

*Damn.... where? Where is he going to come from? He wants me, I have to draw him out.."

(Wolf soon heard something coming in fast from the front, it was hard to see who it was. So Wolf tightened his guard and then out of the blue, Wolf was flew back a few feet and landed in his back. The attack made Wolf drop his Pure Blade. He slowly got up and raised his guard once more. Wolf was being beaten like a doll. His eyes shifted left from right and sometime he looked behind him.)

*Damn... where will he be?*

[Neiro Yukiko]

Yukiko finally loosened up as the ogre collapsed after the shots. Reliefed, she brought her arms down. She couldn't ahve held on if there weren't a new surge of energy flowing through her. She didn't know where it came from, but it felt astounding, and much to her relief, she felt a lot better than before, and she doesn't have the time to question where it was from either at this point. It was a good thing a part of her energy were restored as well, for there are still enemies here and there.

Suddenly, after Joseph had just spoken to her, a loud haunting howl could be heard echoing through the desert.

What ...?!

Yukiko's empty blue eyes widened as mild hints of surprise revealed itself. A first ever real expression, though barely visible, ever shown on Yukiko since the beginning of the battle. They soon narrowed as they became emotionless once more. She turned to Joseph when he asked her how much energy she still has left.

"Still quite a bit. For some reason, my energy feel renewed just a moment ago." she replied slowly, though with relief in her voice, slightly.

She turned her attention to the Jackal as it headed Wolf's way, who was a short distance in front of her and Joseph. Frowning mentally, she can't say she liked this at all. It was strong, by the looks of it, but then again, she wouldn't expect anything less from the leader of the group of beasts who came to attack them. She was about to cast a spell to maybe slow it down a bit when suddenly everything around her became dark. Everything was covered in darkness, complete darkness. She couldn't see a thing, for her eyes are not adjusted yet. Closing her eyes, she'll need to move according to instinct and feelings, as well as her senses. She needs to pinpoint the beast's whereabouts, but it may take a while for it was moving fast. That, she could feel.

Where is it ... where is it?!

That's useless. She can't at this moment. Wait, it was attackign Wolf the entire time, no? Maybe she can do something to give Wolf a wake-up call and pinpoint his location ....

Yukiko wasn't exactly sure where Wolf is, but if he hadn't move from his previous position before the darkness covered them up, she can safely assume he's a bit in front of her. Concentrationg on her magic, she tried to pinpoint Wolf's location, but seeing as she wanted it to be accurate, she called out his name, remembering it when she heard him and Joseph talking a bit ago. Hearing his quick answer (I got permission from Wolf), Yukiko can now be more sure as to where he's standing. Casting a quick spell, ice started forming around the individual, forming almost an ice prison. It was meant to not only slow down the Jackal's attack when it slashes at Wolf, but also to allow Wolf to know which direction and exactly where he is. She just hopes that it will work. If Wolf needs to escape, Yukiko can turn the ice into water immediately and allow Wolf to fall back.

Now, forming an ice staff in her right hand, she started forward as quietly as possible towards Wolf's direction. She's assuming that the Jackal will be with him soon, and in case Wolf wasn't ready to defend, she'll need to try. As she rushed forward, her right foot kicked against something. She wasn't sure what, but either way, she had kicked the item forward. Little had she known it was a sword; Wolf's sword for that matter. Hearing the object hit against the ice she built by Wolf, she ignored it and continued on.

Where is the Jackal ...?!

[The Designer]

Quickly The Jackal rushed behind Wolf, moving silently without noise as he came closer to Wolf. Quickly he came up with his blades to try and slash his back..... With that, he would moved back....trying to get away from Wolf. He soon sped of somewhere else. bored with the man who couldn't stand the shadows. Quickly The Jackal went and slew a few mages here and there...... While all hidden under the cover of Darkness. However, the Jacal turned toward Niero, and rushed off, moving ever closer toward her as he tried to slice her back area, as he came came around to try and ge the jump on the ice mage.

[Neiro Yukiko]

(((ooc: I knew you would do something like that to avoid the ice!! xD)))


Yukiko's legs continued moving as she kept her eyes closed. There was no point to have them open and try to look, as good as her eyesight is. It just wasn't good enough in this situation. She'll have to use her other senses: hearing and feeling. That's all she can rely on now.

She was surprised she couldn't hear the shattering of the ice. What happened? Could it be that the Jackal saw and went for another prey? Could it be ...

Sh*t!

But she had no way to identify his location. Behind, in front, or beside? Is he even after her? She wouldn't know, now would she, but always better to be safe than sorry, right? She could almost now be sure that the Jackal was coming her way after hearing cries of others who were slashed behind.

Behind me!

YUkiko quickly turned, and as she did so, a wall of ice formed before her, right before the Jackal could slash at her. She didn't know that of course, but she casted the ice spell for self-defense just in case she was correct. She immediately jumped back slightly after casting the spell, and she could hear the ice shatter right after she landed on the ground a few steps back.

Grr ... so he IS here ....

[Wolf, the Joker]

(Before the Jackal moved away, Wolf got a good smell of him. So now they were on even ground.. kindy. But he felt something at his feet. So he bent down and grabed it. It was his sword that he droped. Now all he had to do was find where the Jackal was at. He took in a deep breath with his nose and for the smell of the Jackal, as soon as he did he heard something breaking and rushed over. The small of the Jackal was getting stronger and stronger. Now he knew he was there. Wolf grabed on to the Pure Blade with both hands and used the hook like shape on the blade to drill into the left heel of the Jackal. As soon as he would feel something, Wolf was just rip his sword out. That meant the Jackal's heel would be in pretty bad shape.)

FOUND YOU!

[The Designer]

Quickly The Jackal broke through the Ice Wall through sheer force alone, shattering it as he came closer toward Neiro, it's blade's up and heading toward her. Quickly he used his powers of darkness once more....to distort things. Yes, from darkness he had the power of distortion, to shift around noises, waves, etc. Quickly he gave the impression he was coming to her front, while he was actually coming from her back. The noise of his fake movements were just a tad louder then his regular movements...meaning he can both make it to her back and convince her that he was coming from the front. Once there, The Jackal came with a slash at her back.....removing the distortion if he hit to save energy....

However, he found that Wolf had stabbed him before he left....However, it didn't hurt much, as The Jackal ignored such low power attacks. Quickly he used Chi to regenerate his cells there, making his heal, although still in pain, usable as he further caused distortions, making his scent now upon Neiro....So now Wolf would be lead to attack Neiro.....how perfect.

[Wolf, the Joker]

(Wolf picked up on the sent once more after his attack and smelled if infront of him and he rushed in and was going to do a downword slash. But as he was lowering his sword down. Wolf felt something.. that something was nothing. Wolf eyes widen and stoped his attack. The blade was about in inch away from the ice girl. If it was the Jackal, he would have felt the blade touching the body. But he didn't that meant the Jackal was tricking him. Wolf placed the tip of his sword on the ground and tried to pick up on the smell.)

*Damn.... where? He almost made me attack someone on my side. There is only one thing to do.*

(Wolf fate that he belived in, he belived in his mother's deck of cards and drew five and threw one card infront of him, at the same time he placed the other cards back in the bottem of the deck.)

JOKER!

(The card was glawing bright, it was birhgt enough to bansh the darkness that the Jackal used. With that done the Jackal was easy to spot and the Joker card pulled in the golden parts off of Wolf to make the Sun Blade. He grabed it with his left and and drew.)

This is over.....

(Wolf threw the cards and they were Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and 10 of Spade. The cards placed them self on the Sun Blade and the sword was glawing brighter.)

WITH DARKNESS JACKAL! THERE IS LIGHT!

(Wolf raised his sword up high and got ready for the final move.)

Royal Flush Finisher!

(With all of Wolf's powers he swinged his sword down, unleashing a golden beam slash at the Jackal to cut him down the middle.)
