"How long now" A voice called from the darkness....
'Soon....soon....let me just see this....."
Meanwhile, deep inside Area 51, Director Lancaster sat facing a large monitor as countless employees had their fingers running across their computers and what not, researching as usual while countless magical experiments and tests occurred. Basically, it was the same deal every day. However though, a attendant quickly lifted himself off of his chair, looking and staring at the commander which sat on top of the stair case (Think of the Scenery like A UN meeting, but reversed with the point of converge being above everyone else.). Quickly he shouted out to his commander, disbelief in his eyes as he said this.
"Sir, Sir, the satellite readings have picked up something in the Sahara" The man said.
"Put on the Monitor then" Lancaster coolly replied.
With that, a picture of the Sahara in Africa came up. Now, it looked normal, but soon it switched over to magic detection mode, and with it practically the entire horizon turned red, red meaning that chaos magic was afoot. Quickly Lancaster got out of his seat, in disbelief at the scale of red covering the Sahara. It was way too large to be a simple rupture, way, way too large. It was even moving as well, telling that monsters or something were down there. His fingers quickly pressed a button, and with it a videophone came up in which he used to call out his arm forces to mobilize to the Sahara. Indeed, something of this scale can not be merely ignored.
A Few minutes later......
The Wise men in the Monastery broke their meditation as they all seemed to sense a great darkness in the middle dark continent, and quickly rushed off to Lee Young, to tell him to this. Meanwhile, a few minutes later the bats of the Society returned to their masters which then told them everything they knew, and with it their forces began to mobilize as well..... Quickly the cultists stationed over ritual circles noticed the change and patterns, and similarly told their leader about this event.
Off in the sky, a lone tracer picked up the red emissions in Room 101, sending a emergency call to the Head master. However, he already knew this, and was already in the conversation with the Monastery, Society, D-13 and even Eternity. They all talked in mental channels, thanks to a number of certain psychics they happened to have among them...... Alucard and Lancaster. Anyways, it was decided that each of the organizations would send soldiers/agents/etc to deal with this odd happening. After all, the amount of red coming was insane, as though a army was being built up. However though, Eternity soon decided to pull back it's forces, saying they have no involvement with the Sahara, and therefore are not to be involved and with that, left the mental channel.
In time, they all left the channel and quickly mobilized their forces, stationing them all across the Sahara. The Academy boldly decided to station themselves in the Central Africa nation or lower Chad region, as the most red was coming from there. From there, they are stationed at camps all around the nations, the biggest one located secretly at the Chad/Central Africa border, where Maedalus takes command, followed by dozen other commands who will overseer the operation. (This is where you guys are, located in the huge base while awaiting orders in the base courtyard).

- I was laying in my cot, my eyes closed and dreaming of my...latest exploit with a male cohort. It was a warm feeling a I held in my semi-sleeping state. Water from the shower still clung to my hair as I lay half naked in my cot. Large brown cargo pants on. My arms were behind my back, the tattoo above my pant line glimmering with a small amount of water. I gave a heaving breath as I heard the call to move. I stood up, and grabbed my white light shirt and slid it on slowly. Slid my dagger and sheeth in the belt slot on my back and place my sword on my hip. I had trained rigourosly with it and I was much better now. I slid on my gloves, placed my leather collar around my neck and walked out.
- It was hot, it was dirty and it smelled of male sweat. I stepped out of my one man tent (due to the fact no one was willing to be open enough to spend the night in a tent with me). I walked out, and walked straight towards the commanders. Stood with my hands in my pockets and my eyes half closed, a small trickle of water from my hair slid down my face and dripped off my chin. It hit my chest and slid down my bare chest slowly. I was called, I was prepared and I was ready. Bring it on!!!

Jyo had not slept while they waited. Instead his sat against a wall with one knee up and his hands resting on the,. His calculating mind planning for what may or may not happen when it as time for them to actually move out and do their job. He had already called out E,ber and the large fire-wolf was resting right beside him as he thought.
The call to move out was made. Jyo stood up and donned the one sleeved white coat he wore. He put his longsword in it's sheath and then walked out with te others. he looked at the other people he would have to work with and rely on. With as many people that would probably be here Jyo knew this assignment wouldn't be easy

Talbot had stayed up all evening- she wasn't really tired and she had been preoccupied with studying up on gravity magic. She hummed softly as she paced just outside her tent. Sleep did not come easy without Mikon around- the little pest having stayed in the room at the academy. She shook her head and snapped her book shut, she took a piece of candy from her bag and took a swig of rose wine.
Now came the call to be out and waiting. She abandoned her book and moved around, looking around- so far she only saw Pretty Boy and Ezra. Zeke and an heavy metallic construct were with Ezra this time- but she wasn't feeling talkative- after her last mishap she hadn't spoke much to anyone and hoped she wouldn't have to. Her turquise skirt rustled softly as she walked to a stop in the courtyard, her golden hair bouncing as she moved- for the first time allowed to hand untied- she had forgotten, maybe she would do it later. She stood away from everyone- her mind elsewhere.

Eldran was quietly outside, wondering why he had been brought along with the other students as he quietly read a book outside, but this time, his sometime absentmindedness served a purpose and brought to mind the discussion he had with the teacher who had told him to come along...
He had been quietly in his room reading a book and the teacher had come into his room.
"Eldran, I know you've heard the news, why aren't you getting ready like all the other students?"
Eldran shrugged and continued to feign ignorance as he had continued to read a book.
"You've got dozens of other students better than I am, with magical and other skills far surpassing what I can do."
The teacher chuckled and Eldran looked up with a slightly confused look on his face and sat down on his bed.
"Just because you don't have an attunement and don't have a massive amount of magical energy doesn't mean anything."
The teacher tapped Eldran's head lightly. "I want you to come along, because in the time you've been here, you've become one of the most learned students in the shortest amount of time. You have the gift of knowledge, and that alone will keep some of your fellow students alive. If anything they don't know how to face will come, there is a greater chance you will know how to deal with it or be able to figure it out and be able to tell them."
The teacher got up and started walking. "Besides, I know you're not completely defenseless, otherwise your parents would not have sent you here."
He sighed and pushed up his prescription goggles. At least he'd had the sense to had a pair made that were plastic and had an elastic band to keep them on your face in the wind and didn't let dirt or sand into your eyes.

Ziare walked through the tent village they were staying in. She had not been asleep when the call was made to gather she had only been reading. She walked towards the center of the camp looking for her fellow classmates. She saw to her relief Jyo, Talbot, and Eldran were all there. She smiled.
Ziare walked up in her summoning robes her first time to wear them out of the halls of the academy and she felt a bit shy and weary. Her arms hugging her body as she tried to cover any extra skin she could. Why did they have to be so skimpy? she asked herself, I mean geez.

Jyo noticed Ziare over to his side when she walked out. So she did come along. I thought she might. He thought with some mix of happiness and concern as this was to be somewhat dangerous. But he also knew they could both take care of themselves and help each other along with the others. Jyo walked over to her seeing she had donned her summoner's robes. he too had worn a different look for his mission here Mission outfit. Jyo stopped next to her. "Hi. Are you feeling okay." He asked and giving her a quick one armed hug.

Eldran snapped his book shut after marking his spot and went inside his tent to check his gear as well as pack the book away.
He had purchased clothing fitting to the desert's heat, not for style, but he hadn't cared. His armor was underneath, and it was made to be insulated against hot or cold temperatures.
His armament, well, he took it with him, but didn't make it evident. He'd paid good money for it, but he didn't like to show it. Just to make sure however, he put it into place on his person and went back outside. It would at least make combat a little more survivable for him.
He had at least learned enough discipline to last a few minutes of combat. At least he hoped he did.

Joseph sat by himself just outside his tent as he cleaned his revolver. Repeating mantras taught to him in the gunmage school he soothed the weapon's spirit. It was like recievign a massage for the little instrument, and Midnight was happy to do it. The little guy had gotten him through so much that it really deserved it.
There was a little bit of commotion elsewhere in the camp, but he paid no heed. Joseph simply continued cleaning his weapon with oils and a rag. They'd both need to be ready once things got underway. A lot of the students from the academy were formidable fighters, but battle was what gunmages were designed for. They'd need Joseph and his revolver at their top condition.

"So....what shall we do now sir?" Byron asked, his tone calm and relaxed as he over looked war plans. "It already seems that we must move to the offensive. Already several villages have fallen to this red army. The only things we know of their fate is that they were burned down, hell, everything was burned, even the ground was scorched black sir"
"I see your point" Maedalus responded, placing his hand under his chin as he thought. "How many of them are there Kenji?"
"We are unable to come up with a definite number in such a short time" Kenji replied, business-like as usual "But we've estimated at least ten thousand in this nation alone. Quite a large number of beasts since, well, Beast itself came into power. And remember sir, this is just Central Africa and lower Chad, lets not forget the other nations"
"I see, then I suppose we have no choice but to launch a initiative....by the way, what type of beasts are this army using"
"From what we have seen.....they are using many, many things. From Beastmen to Dragons to Gaint Animals, they are using them"
With that, the conversation ended a few hours later, messengers spreading the word to all those stationed here. Currently, it seemed that all Wizard ranked or higher mages stationed in Central Africa and Lower Chad were to be sent on a attack missions to the head base of the Army with the aid of D-13, while the other ranked students were to remain at their posts with their respective commanders to do defense details. Not exactly exciting, it is still important none the less.
Meanwhile, a hundred miles off from the main base, something was stirring...........

(Wolf sighed as he was dagged into this mess. A fight with beast, monsters, and even dragons. In the world of man, this was not a good thing. Wolf was about half amile away from the camp site as he looked into the darkness and saw some movements from a far. This kindly put Wolf an the edge and hold his right hand on his deck holder and pulled out one card from the deck. Slowly moving his arm up word, he saw that it was the Joker card. Wolf sighed has he slowly placed the card back into the deck and walked back to the camp site. As he made it back, he saw many people ready. Guns cleaned and load, spells and books ready to use at will, swords shapen to cut down enemies.
Wolf was not much for fighting, but what could he have done? Stayed in the back, not a thing he was use to, if need, Wolf will fight. As he was walking around the camp area and found himself near the courtyard. There he spoted at golden hair girl that was about his age. The first thing that came to mind was why would she be here? Was she going to fight also? Wolf should have walked away and left her alone, but he couldn't as he took a step forword at the girl. An soon another step forword that was followed by something that come out of his mouth.)
Umm Ms, you ok?

A lone girl slowly pulled herself up as she exited her tent. The heat quickly engulfed her, making it hard to beathe, mainly because of her despise for heat and hot weather. She can survive no matter how cold, but the heat? Man ... that wasn't someone she would approve of much. Sighing mentally, she glanced around slowly, studying the area. She could see other Academy students standing around, getting ready. She can't sya she recognized any of them, but then again, she hadn't been here long, neither was she one to interact much with anyone.
Yukiko brushed her long white hair back behind her shoulders as she started forward. She was dressed in her normal white and slightly blue oufit. Sleeveless, which was a good thing for such a place, but still rather hot for her. Though even with the heat, her face revealed nothing whatsoever. An empty and expressionless visage as usual. Her dull blue orbs continued wandering around the place slowly, as if studying it. Always useful, she supposed.
Anyway, she soon stopped. She wasn't exactly close to the group of academy students, but she's not exactly too far away either. She's just a lone figure, all dressed in white, standing off to the side mainding her own business, absorbed in her own thoughts and analysis of the situation. Personally, she didn't even know why she's here, since she kenw of the temperature here since the beginning. She knew she would despire it, yet she still came. Maybe it's because she felt like she has the responsibility to help. Who knows. Affected by her ancestors? Most likely. Either way, all she can do now is to wait.

Talbot looked at the ruby eyed boy, her own gray eyes taking in his appearence before a smile crept onto her face. She showed no fatigue even after her long night of studying on her majick and in truth she felt none of it but that could have been because of the rose wine- who knew?
She nodded her head and answered softly, "I'm good. And none of that 'Ms' stuff-" she stuck out her left hand, for she was a lefty, and continued, "I'm Talbot Linsorim."

Ziare smiled weakly at Jyo's comforting arm. She was embarressed slightly and felt completely naked in front of all these people. Why did summoner robes have to be so damn see through she asked herself.
"I'll be fine." she said with a quaver to her voice. She did not move her hands away from her body but kept them close it hugging herself. She knew that in the heat of battle when she was needed this would be the last thing on her mind but right now standing in the camp with her friends and strangers she was very self concsious.
She looked up at Jyo... "I doubt we'll be together, no matter how much I hope for it. So please be careful. Promise me you will be." she said tears filling her eyes. She was scared yes, she would be stupid not to be. Perhaps over time missions and battles such as these would not scare her so but for now she was terrified.
