(OOC: Oki insists Oki's students remember quality over quantity. )
Oki looked about the classroom with a small lost glance. Oki had never gotten to teach before- not in this sence at least. Though behind this calm look, Oki wanted to dance and cheer- sadly her face was completely devoid of this emotion. For people like Oki, stimuli came from the presence of the new, the old, and the interesting- currently Oki was in the room by herself. But only for now!
Oki stretches, her brown robes rustling softly at the movement, stepping forward Oki seemed as if dancing for but a moment. Feet following the mind, Lefty, left, right, right, left, right, right, lefty.. Bones popped and cracked with the sullen sound of old wood. Soft sighs of relief were exhaled- old and young bones and mucle never did enjoy cooroperating in times of calm. Walking around the room, Oki checked all the jars and sticks of insence- the room was filled with the scents of juniper, cinnamon, sandalwood, and mugwort. The properties of each would assist in this class for thoday would be a very insteresting session. Oki guessed by the names listed, she had six boys coming into her class for today- and with boys came worry and unsureness of sharing the dream walk.
Checking each mat, no desks in this classroom, making sure each angle was correct, Oki looked up as AiAiAi entered the room. The feminie swing to the once feline's hips could make anyone wonder what she would have done if allowed the keep her tail. Both women stared at one another, sun glory and earth's tone locking saying nothing- they took opposing sides of the room as per tradition. As class started, the students would see a show of greeting among the two Dreamweavers.
Both women bowed low to one another, then standing erect, both charged. Coming within bare inches, both froze- a soft purr emitted from the throat of the violet haired female and Oki could only smiled quietly. Spinning away both women took the stance of the crane, flowing it eaisily into the tiger stance then to the mantis resting. Each bend and wave carried an energy tail, making the movements seems blurred though they were exact. Mirroring one another, each woman extended an arm, charging at one another both struck with enough force to raise the mats off the floor in a small echo of energy. Both women then spun and stopped back to back, arms outstetched. This is where they stood and waited as the students filed in.

Varys would have fought to be in this class. Indeed the thought was increasingly crossing his mind as he came closer and closer to the room assigned. If he could kill or run off the other students that would leave more time for Varys to be taught....
More time could lead to further ability, More ability could lead to delving deep into his dreams, delving deeply could only reveal more terrifying and stronger Nightmares.
The thoughts let loose a string of more thoughts, each multiplying within the multiple minds. Each Nightmare was either giddy with excitement or definately angry that it might be replaced. The two strong arms raged inside Varys' mind while the slug beast did hardly a thing.
All of these thoughts occured before the clap of energy and Varys swiftly running to the door of the classroom. What he saw confused him slightly. The two women were similar yet distinctly different. Varys would circle them, watching carefully. What were they doing exactly and what purpose did it have?
Confused and soon lost within his mind again,Varys moved to the mat to the furthest left of the room. He would only stand near it, knowing better than to sit without instruction. He knew what it was like to be taught, and wasn't about to do anything without instruction.

Torm heads for class. He harbors a degree of uncertainty and anxiety. Thus far, his experiences at Arcane Academy hae allowed him to reconcile with and grow within the magicks of the physical world, but here was something different: a leap from the physical to the metaphysical; the realm of dreams and the domain of the Dreamers. Torm doesn't know much of anything about the subject, but he is pretty sure that almost everything he knows as concrete and unchangeable in this world can not be counted on when toeing this line at the limits of what most consider the reaches of reality.
That doesn't mean he's arfaid to learn, of course. This was another opportunity to become stronger. Even if he does not develop any talent in this field of magic, he will at least gain a working knowledge of the stuff and be better able to recognize and counter it, if he ever encounters it in a hostile environment.
And so, it is with a renewed confidence that he enters the classroom. The teacher wasn't a teacher, but teacherS. There are two of them, and they stand back to back with arms outstretched. This might have been a peculiarity to a ground-pounder, but anyone who has inhabited this floating city of magic and madness for long takes this sort of thing as it comes. Another slight oddity was the absence of desks, but upon further reflection, what good could a desk do you when working with dreams, anyway? Torm waves amiably at the teachers and speaks. "Tormaigh here, professors. I presume I'm in the right place for the dream class?"

Not knowing what a dream class would be like other than examining or controlling ones dreams, or knowing more about it, he was unsure, but all of his dreams have been nothing but torment, nightmares of lives that wheren't his, but where of his blood and there fore fused with his memory. It was as if the hatred, pain, sorrow, anxiety, all those bad feelings mixed into one being in one night he can't even awaken from said nightmarish dreams until the life he was sitting through made it to the end and it was always the same way, except for few. War, between what he sensed to be family members, everyone fighting everyone else. But maybe he could discover why in this class, or at least be able to understand more with this class.
The blonde boy may not have brought his spear with him this time, but he did bring his little mantice friend. Apon his shoulder he stayed feeding on a tid bit of electricity that was sparked on his shoulder, his quick slash with those claws grabbing it like it was a bug and eating at it as if it where real. It seemed rather hyper after that, moving faster than usual, swaying still with each foot step the boy walked through the door to the classroom, and to his surprise, Torm was there. A smile appeared on his face as he approached Torm, giving a bow of the head to the teachers. He felt more comfy now that Torm was here.
"Hello."
Was his simple spoken word towards Torm, if all remember the blue eyed boy didn't talk all that much, in fact it was rare to get a word from him instead of a look that spoke for him. The mantice would pop out from behind his head on his shoulder and look to Torm.

Torm is taking his seat when a shadow falls across him as someone walks up and utters a simple greeting. When Torm looks up at the person, he sees that it's none other than Leon!
It had been quite some time since they had last had an encounter, but Torm remembers that Leon was normally a man of few words. This is something that Torm has a sort of respect for. Even Shakespeare had written "Lend every man thine ear, but few thy voice (Hamlet, Act I, Scene III)" It is from this memory that Torm gets the feeling that for Leon to have spoken was significant.
Torm, already grinning broadly up at Leon, says, "Hi, Leon! It's great to see you." Torm chuckles as the very same mechanical mantis he had given Leon all that time ago popped out from behind Leon's shoulder! "The little guy looks well, indeed! If I didn't know I had built him at a specific size, I'd say he was growing!" Torm gestures at a mat next to him while asking "I trust you're doing well, as well?"

The click of claws and the sound of faint footsteps echoed in the hallway as Alastin made his way to this classroom. Alastin had gained a new bond summon in his time here at the academy who was walking beside him. The hound had a beautiful and regal coat the stunning collar just seeming to go perfectly with it. Laelaps was the hound's name that was on the collar. Alastin gave a faint smile at the hound who was a large dog make no mistake about that easily up to Alastin's chest in terms of height and formidable looking. Still Alastin lightly ran his fingers through the fur as Misae kept an eye on the two smiling slightly. She couldn't keep Alastin company all the time in physical form due to her rather large size so Laelaps was a very welcome addition.
You're very quiet Laelaps.
-=I am of few words as you are learning touch is sometimes all that is needed.=-
The hound had a quiet and reserved mental voice but, Alastin smiled knowing that deep down Laelaps was an oversized puppy sometimes as he ran his fingers through the soft fur. There were already people there he waved at the two unfamiliar people a happy and pleasant wave as he saw Varys. He was slowly getting more comfortable around him but, his abilities still frightened Alastin now and then.
"It's nice to see a familiar face," he said with a smile at Varys as he walked towards him. Alastin had come here because dreamweaving could be benificial for wanting to heal others since a pleasant dream was always handy during a recovering sleep.
"Been well I hope?"

"Hmm...Dreamwalking" The man asked himself, as he traveled quietly down the hall way. "This is interesting..... I doubt it would help me in the long run, but knowledge of such a skill is certainly essential"
With that, Ethan moved down the hall way, his face composed and stern as usual. On him was his rather usual get up, nice black Japanese robes with simple, yet still combat-effective, shoes on him. As he looked down the winding corridors, he noticed all sorts of odd, eccentric characters entering his next class. Of course though, Ethan himself was doing the best himself to remain the way he was and not fall prey to oddness.... Yet, is it then not out of place for Ethan to be acting "Normal" when everybody else around him is acting eccentric? If that is the case, then isn't Ethan being eccentric?
Regardless, today was not the day for that sort of thought... Yet if the man were to find himself bored in class that certainly is something to think about to pass the time. Anyways, The Weaver quickly moved past the door into the classroom, filled with mats and more then just one teacher. Ethan looked at them, his eyes cold and passionless, just before he turned around and quietly moved toward one of the mats nearby. He chose to sit at the one all by it's lonesome, anyway from most of the class. Call it emo or him being a "Loner", but Ethan has yet to make a good friend here... Hell, even Ziare could be called nothing more but a faint acquaintance. Turning to his side, he stared out of the window nearby, yet another reason he choose this spot...
He sat down in a odd manner. Basically, all he did was place his knees down so that his fore leg would be touched the ground as everything else was sitting on top of it.... Kinda like the other way monks sit aside from crossing your legs when sitting on the ground. Anyways, the man looked around, curious to see if he knew anyone. Without surprise, Ethan knew few people. He recognized a few faces, but otherwise had no idea as to who they were. Sighing to himself, the man just quietly awaited class to begin... In his hands were his strings, gripped tightly as they were waiting to be used.
"At least Isis isn't here to make me look like a fool" He said under his breath, still looking out the window as cold as ice.

Roy walked into the classroom, nearly in awe of his surroundings. This was the Arcane Academy......nobody stared at him like a freak, which scared him slightly. His red T-Shirt, three sizes too big, flapped slightly as he walked, and his baggy blue jeeans made flapping sounds as he walked into the class.
He absent-mindedly fixed his ponytail as he walked into the classroom. "Erm....Roy Atenwood, I signed up for this class? I hope I'm not late, and I apologize if I've caused any trouble. It's my first day, and I kind of got lost...." Not about to assume anything, and not wanting to get his ass scorched off, Roy walked over to a mat and stood near it, waiting for instruction.

No recognition was given to any student even when either Oki or AiAiAi were addressed. Students should know to enter quietly and be prepared for anything. These students were the curious kind- it could be felt in their very presence. Oki made note of those who enetered without word and those who carried conversation. The last on caught Oki's eye and the one who said only one simple word. AiAiAi shivered slightly at the word and Oki's heart slowed- such terrible, empty dreams.
Both women moved apart, both humming a note as the door to the room snapped shut. Bowing low, both women took opposite sides of the room- the amber eyed woman licking her lips with the anticipation of this class while the other simply looked each delicious morsel of a student over. Her eyes continuously falling on the simple worded male. AiAiAi couldn't believe her luck- a room full of boys soon to tamper with a world beyond comprehension. Oh she couldn't wait.
Passing by each student without a word, Oki made them move to where she saw was best. This went without question, she was the instructor and obviously all would be explained. Brown robes rustled as the golden dragon insigina shimmered and flashed even in this dim lighting. Shoeless feet making not a sound, only the sound of her even and stready breathing filled in insence flooded room. Oki's naturally cheerful voice held tones of velvet and honey, she spoke only loudly enough to be head as she slowly walked to the center of the circle, which the boys were strategically placed around.
Slowly rotating, as no one feels left out, Oki makes eye contact with each and every as the words begin to flow, "Oki wishes to welcome Oki's students to Introduction to Dreamwalking. Oki wishes to thank Oki's student's one and all for joining for this is no easy- squeezy class, " Oki wagged a finger, "Oki insists this is quite the opposite. Infact Oki had to split Oki's schedule into two. Which means! At one point Oki will be pairing Oki's students up with students from Oki's other Introduction Class. Wonderful!"
The word 'wonderful' was exclaimed with a small bounce of excitement- it was difficult to surpress her natural happy. Pausing, Oki looked about, eyes resting on varys, she was unsure of the feeling he eminated- she closed her eyes for a moment and continued to turn- doing the same, each feeling a little different- always ending with the emptyness of the single worded student. Mud colored eyes openeing again, Oki continued her speech.
"Oki wishes for Oki's students, to know yes Oki will be having Oki's sessions on the astral plane- dreams are best used and molded there. If unable to reach the astral, AiAiAi in the corner will assist Oki's students who find themselves incapable- nothing to worry about AiAiAi will simply lull Oki's students to sleep. But first- Oki wishes to know the names of Oki's students and the reason Oki's students have for joining Oki's class."

Well, it wasn't what Roy had expected. The teacher, Oki, was cheerfull? She seemed a lot different from the teachers back home. Roy was used to classes such as Math, and Biology, but Dreamwalking? This would be fun, even if it wasn't easy.
Roy stepped foreward, and bowed his head slightly. He felt like an idiot for saying it again, but the instructor DID ask for an introduction. He was slightly nervous, and his voice shook as he said "W-well, My n-name's Roy Atenwood." He cleared his throat, and set himself. His voice stopped shaking, and he spoke clearly. "I....honestly don't know why I'm here. It just seemed to pull me in. I just felt like I needed to learn this."
Roy knew he sounded stupid, but he had a small sense of precognition. Dreamwalking itself had reached out and grabed him. He felt it's pull, and resisted signing up for it...for his first hour at the academy. He had signed up without a second thought after that, some voice in the back of his head saying that he would need it in the future.

"I am Varys Fierasche."
Varys stated half flatly after the bumbling man. He didn't particularly like his name and it hardly seemed it mattered. In Varys' dreams he wouldn't be alone reguardless and depending on the dominace of his Nightmare, he might only be a shell reguardless.
"I am a Dementia mage. I draw from my Nightmares and I require to delve further to grow further in my art."
Varys was slightly more enthusiastic when proclaiming his title and his methods. His mind could only enjoy it's own demented methods, it's own thoughts and screaming parralell minds. There was the grin of odd enjoyment on his face. He liked who we was, somehow.

Alastin blinked for a moment when he looked around and felt eyes on him waiting for an introduction. This had to be the most unique sounding class ever this Oki definantly not the norm for teachers here at the Academy with her third-person speaking and referencing. Then again what was normal? There was no such thing as normal when the laws of physics were repeatedly defied by the laws of magic. Or were there any laws of magic? With so many different styles of magic is there truly any universal laws that they abide by? Alastin blinked for a moment when he felt Laelaps nudge his hand lightly realizing that he had been spacing out when people were waiting for an introduction. Looking up he gave a weak smile for a moment.
"Alastin Skylark, healer in training," he said with a bright smile as Laelaps sat on his haunches beside his healer giving no introduction for the moment. He seemed calm and reserved in some ways but, he had that innocent look to his eyes. He smiled brightly for a moment well he had more magics then just healing but, he always considered himself a healer firstly.
I already have the reason...
"I signed up for dreamwalking in the hopes of using it's benificial properties in helping patients who are suffering from mental traumas and give them benificial rest," he said softly his tone was soft and soothing the tone of a healer yet it was missing that professional edge. That right there showing his inexperiance in what he did but, he still tried.

Leon was nervouse, he was a silent person, he didn't talk much he just wanted to do the class, but the teacher Oki, was her name as it was, wanted their names. His eyes darted around a bit, as his head drooped down. He would not make eye contacxt with anyone except the floor, the mantis bug on his shoulder hangin out, climbed to the top of his head. Its mechanical body acting exactly like a mantis would swaying with every breath he took. Soon his mouth opened and he spoke.
"Leon Sudeki. . . Nightmares."
Thsi was his simple answer to what she had said, though quiet it as audible if the people only took the time to listen. His name and reason for being in the class, Nightmares. Hes had nightmares very often lately, and he wanted to better understand them. He dare not move from the position he was placed in. It was his nature, being moved to where he was he stayed silent as possible, trying to draw as less attention as possible. The mantis liked the static electricity that kept Leon's hair straight up all the time. His faciel expression still locked, stern and as empty as he could keep it.
This dreamwalking class could also teach him how to go into others dreams? It was only a guess since to Leon walking meant means of travel, and to everyone a dream was the same thing. Was did that mean he was going to be able to travel to other peoples dreams? Possibility, but not highly likely, not everything here was as it seemed as he had learned from the forest.

Torm waves jovially at the teachers. "The name's Tormaigh, professor. As for why I'm here..."
He glances about briefly at the others. Some of them appeared to have some extremely serious reasons for wanting to explore the realms of dreams. "Well, call it curiosity or call it a desire for self improvement, whatever pleases; I just felt like this might be a good class to attend. I don't know anything about the magic of dreams at all; this seems like the best and most convenient way to become educated about them."
That's all Torm really has to say. Concise, with proper respect, and to the point; that's the way Torm handles it.

Ethan remained quiet and silent as the teacher began to talk, listening to her as he began the first class of Dreamwalking. Apparently, the Teacher(s) wanted to hear their students name and what their motives were for joining. The Nobleman listened quietly as they spoke, his cold eyes focused secretly upon each one of them. He studied who he was with, and learned from their responses their personalities and desires....With what few he had to go with of course. The "Nightmares" answer were a bit coocky.....But interesting none the less... On that note, Ethan began to question why he joined Dreamwalking. As he reflected upon this, he realized no one else was talking. Taking it upon himself to break the silence, he stared forward at the Teacher...
His eyes as cold as snow.
"Ethan Yukimaru" He said slowly, articulating each syllable of his name. "I came here because I heard from legends that Dreams have the power to see the future. Such a skill would be key to me..."
With that, Ethan continued to stare at his teacher, eyes still as cold as snow while his body barely moved at all. He was intently focused on all around him... As though expecting something.
"It is a pleasure to meet you" Ethan said, his tone cold yet polite.
