Entrance into a New School

[Scith]

"I know its not common, but it does sometimes become a thorn in my side, when exposed to blood, it grows in strength.. but... I cant exactly control it to well.. oh.. duh. Now I know why they brought me here.. "

He smacked his forehead almost showing that he had been a numbskull, but in turn he just shifted back and offered his smile over to him.

" As for texts in this school... it would be nice to look over it. "

Jyo finished his lunch.
"Well we could head to the library next after lunch. I was heading there to turn a book back in as it was." Jyo said as he tossed his stuff in a garbage can next to him and stretched a bit.
"Or if you'de rather just settle into the school more and meet up later thats cool as well." he said. Jyo wasn't in a hurry to find out about the weapon. He just wasn't going to ignore it though. It was a point of interest really not something critical.

[Scith]

"Well, I dont have any plans, so I wouldnt mind looking for it right now."

Getting up, he dumped his trash off and stashed the rest in a little cloth which he handed to Zaro, of course, he grabbed it and ran back off to Sciths room where he would probably eat and then sleep the rest of the day until he got back.

"After all, might be nice to find out some more about this."

OOC: Sorry for long wait. had to step out.


Jyo nodded.
"Alright then. The libarary is only one floor up from here." he said as they got up and headed out. Jyo stuck his hands in his pants pockets.
"Oh yea I said I would introduce you to Ember didn't I? I just didn't want to summon him in there." He said stopping. He spoke to Ember letting him know to come out but not have the collar glow as this was to be a summoning sham that only three people knew the truth about.

Flames licked Jyo and they focused on the ground in front of him. The flames took the shape of a man-sized firewolf (Look near bottom of bio for pic). Ember looked at Scith and in something that would most likely surprise the student he spoke mentally to him.

"Hello Scith. You must not be too bad a person if one of my distant brothers are with you." Ember said in Scith's head. Jyo could hear it too but it was directed to Scith. The surprise to Scith would come from the fact summons normally only could talk to the summoner. Granted Ember was not truly a summon but as stated. Only jyo Ember and Ziare knew that.

"To tell you the truth that was actually very nice to hear from him." said Jyo in response to Ember's greeting.

[Scith]

" So this is ember?"

He tilted his head looking to the flames, but then noticed they changed into the form of a fire-wolf, he looked familiar but he couldnt quite put his finger on it. Instead he simply moved to shift down to one knee in a kneel, his head giving a nod to Ember at the same time, showing his respect by first coming down to Embers height instead of looking down on him.

"Its nice to meet you as well.. though, Zaro is very distant.. a pain in my rear-end."

Of course as he said that he smiled once more and stood, showing he was just joking about it.

"He is magnificent. "

OOC: A nice polite move with the kneeling. But Ember is man-sized as in. On all fours he can be staring you in the eye ;D


"We all have things we dislike even about those we care for. But you are friends in the end." Ember said simplyshowing he understood what he meant. Jyo got on his nerves every sof often with his affections to Ziare. It was just od seeing someone like Jyo going all mushy and whatnot.

"I would say thank you but his magnifigance isn't mine to claim." Jyo said chuckling.
"Though I fully agree with you." He added as he too thought there was an elegance to Ember.

The four of them headed to the library with Ember staying with Zaro. Ember was liking being with a creature more akin to his race than a human.

( Lol. Didnt know he was actually standing like 5 feet on all four xD )

Looking over Ember still he was interested, but he had no intention of expressing what he has said as a compliment, it was a comment, no more, as he did not know what Ember was for that matter apart from seeming to be of a wolf origin.

"None the less, he is still magnificent. At any rate, I guess it would be a waste if such an animal were restricted.. Zaro has the same things, can be summoned by the gem I have embedded in my gloves, but he refuses to go back, becomed to attatched you see.. "

He chuckled slightyl.

"Interesting. A gem eh? I simply summon Ember. But he does have his own personality and will. I try to have him be out as much as I can. but as you can see he's kinda big to be indoors. So I go camping alot to let him out for long periods of time." Jyo said as they walked into the libarary.

"Well I guess the best place to start is the magical and rare weapons section. Mabey enchanted and cursed items as well to start off with along with the weapons. Which do you want to grab." Jyo said as both sections were right by each other.

[Scith]

"Hmm... I suppose it would be best to look over magical and rare weaponry first, then move onto the curses."

He shrugged slightly, he didnt know which way to go so he simply waited on Jyo to show him the way, after all, it was his first day so it certainly wouldnt be something to expect out of the Eighteen year old.

[jyo]

Jyo led them down an asile of books. he soon found the books he was looking for. He pulled down five different books.
"There are other books. But none of them have anything that isn't in these. At least stuff listed. If what we are looking for is in one of the other books it will be more detailed. But these books could tell is the right one to look for." Jyo said handing Scith a couple and then they headed to a table.

Jyo put the books down and took one of them and started looking through it.
"Soory short term emeory los for a sec. What was the weapons name just so I make sure to look for the right one." He said.

[Scith]

"Blood Reaver.. but I dont think that it is the exact name of the blade itself. You might just want to check for the Kaine family emblem. "

He pulled the hilt from his belt and showed him the engraved emblem in the base of the hilt, then took up one of the books himself and began to flip through the pages, it got him curious as to what he would find out about this sword, if anything from these books. Often more then not however, he had found his research into it fruitless.

"Alright that would help out alot." he said and then stated looking for the weapon by a different means. He saw some weapons that had a slightly similar effect but not with the same seal nor did the abilities match just right..

Jyo had already gone through two of the books before finding somethng that looked familiar.
"Hey this is insteresting. I don't know if I found the blade but I found a lead. At least I think I did" He said as he passed the book over. It was a sword though the blade was complete the hilt was exactly the same in design and it had the seal.

"Says the sword has the same powers as Blood Reaver. Though this one is know and love drinker when it had been written. thats gotta be it right?' Jyo said.

[Scith]

"Hmm.. no. I dont think thats it, I have seen the different versions of the blade and that doesnt look like it, there was a secondary blade in our family however that was made to copy off of Blood Reaver, it had similar effects, but the power wasnt as strong in the end, it also basically caused death to the wielder when it got up over the fourth level."

He shrugged his shoulders slightly and flipped through his own pages, he was noticing similar shapes to some of the Tiers of his weapon, but none exactly like it..

"Pity. means I virtually just founf the weaker brother of the blade. But if thats there then there is a good chance we will run across your's." He said with a shrug as he pulled the book back and started going through it again.

"Another thing is determining how old it really is. Your family may have had it for most of it's time but that doesn't mean it's the first family to own it. Mabey we should look for famous weaponcrafters and enchanters after this. that could be a step in the right direction." He said taking a few moments to think about it.

[Scith]

"Yea.. thats true, I dont know the true Identity, but even still, this blade is extremely old, and by the research I have done, I have found traces of the etchings in some of the blades themselves dating back into the early egyptian settlements, as well as the ancient chinese society structure."

He shrugged once more, and stopped for a second, looking closely at a blade which had the similar shape of one of the sword forms as well as the hilt, but realized the hilt differed slightly in shape and also did not have the family crest on it, nor any of the markings he had just spoke about.
