Yea Leon was bored. even as his normel every day thing was to be quiet and to himself, he was quite bored with today. His spear lay on the ground next to him as he leaned against the wall in the halls. He didn't fell like doing anything at the moment, because no one was there to do anything with, to motivate him. Was Leon wishing for someone to come along? Maybe. Or maybe this was how he really was. Lonesome is not something you want to be from Leon's point of view.
His green vest lay open over his white t-shirt, and his slightly baggy tan cargo pants where just as lazy as he felt not moving only laying there. His hair ont he other hand, stood up as always. His brown eyes accented his hair. This was the boy who was seemingly the last remaining Sudeki in existence. His whole family was supposedly whiped out in a huge war. But how could he believe he was the last one left? If he got out, others could have too right?

Turning the corner, a young woman appeared in the hallway, blonde tresses falling down her back and the side of her face, pouty red lips formed in a small frown. She was quite new to the building, and deciding that exploring was a good idea, found herself a bit lost. It was quiet in the hallway, and practially deserted, save a figure sitting against the wall. She recognized him too, he was in her history of magic class. But what was he doing all alone? After hesitating for a moent, she continued down the hallway toward him, her sandals only making a light scuffing at they met the floor. Her white peasan skirt flitted just below her knees while she walked, and her tattoo on her left shoulder was visible as her brown tank top showed her shoulders.
She slowed her pace, stopping a step or two away from him, debating whether to break the silence.
"Emm, hello.."
Her voice was light, with an even lighter accent. Ashen eyes fell on him to see how he would respond.

The blonde, spikey haired boy looked up when he heard the voice, almost imedietly, alittle frightened, by someone just appearing without him noticing, but he tried to get over it quickly. He stood up slowly focusing on the person to watch for any stray movement. He left the spear where it was and tilted his head to the side like a confused dog. He blinked twice and then he would respond to her hello. He would give a weak smile and give a small wave. More of a gesture.
Yea so he was shy, and he wasn't all that talkative. He didn't really always know what to say, but he did know how to get his point across with his body language. He still looked like a confused animel, but less scared. He did pay alot of attention to her movements though. He may seem to be polite at times, but he was really just trying to get by. And not attract attention.

Lienn tilted her head slightly at the boy, selfconsciously biting her bottom lip when he refused a verbal reply. Had she spooked him? The last time she'd checked she wasn't that scary of a person, she was just trying to be poilte. She mirrored his slight glancing at her feet, then back up at him before speaking.
"Oh, um..I'm Lienn. Lienn Deveraux."
She offered in the hopes of sparking conversation. He probably already knew that from class, but it was a start.

Leon gave this thought filled look with his eyes half open and full of mixed emotion. She had givin' her name, so the polite thing to do, was to give his, correct? Well, even though he was one to stay quiet even in this sort of situation, he had learned from Ziare, that friends are interesting people to have, or even people to talk to, but he still wasn't too into that.
"I am Leon Sudeki. . . .Pleased to meet. . . you."
Yeah he knew the words to a proper greeting, but he still had those pauses that would cause it to appear like he did not know them all and was thinking on them, but in truth he just didn't talk much. So this was maybe alittle interesting to him, but one thing he had observed about others was handshakes. So Leon took a few stepps forward just to get within range and let his hand move infront of him to offer a handshake. The steps being baby steps of course.

Lienn supressed a grin at his awkwardness in introducing himself, as if it were something new to him. She noticed he had taken the steps to shake her hand, and she admired that. Taking a step forward, as there was still a bit of distance between them, taking his hand and shaking it firmly.
"Pleasure to meet you, too."
She smiled, glad that they'd gotten the introduction over and done with. He seemed like a nice enough guy, if a little shy.
"So..what are you doing out here in this empty hallway by yourself, if I may ask? I wasn't interrupting anyway...am I?"

"...and no proper shelving or storage to speak of. The rooms here just don't fit my needs..." Torm mutters as he climbs another staircase, taking the steps two at a time. Under one arm, he carries his trusty ladder, and his other arm is crooked about a pile of long, flat boards of wood. Reaching the top of the stairs and turning into yet another corridor, he mutters "We'll remedy that now, but I hope they don't mind nail-holes and...," but halts midsentence as he spies the two up the hall.
Other students... he thinks. The first ones I've seen all day! They both appeared to be in their teens. The boy looked a little nervous and shy, his eyes never remaining in contact with the girl's for long, but he also seemed to harbor some sort of inner energy. The girl, on the other hand, seemed anything but shy, and her pleasant smile lit her face's delicate features nicely. Torm's gut told him that despite her milky exterior, she probably harbored some serious mental fortitude. They seem decent enough. No time like the present to start meeting the other students! He puts on a warm smile at the idea and strides over.
"Hey, ahh, hi there! I'm not interrupting anythin', am I?" he calls amiably. A slight trace of his Gaelic ancestors' lilting brogue feathers his speech and his heavy boots clomp on the stone floor, echoing slightly in the otherwise empty corridor.

Lienn's attention was drawn from her newly made acquaintance as another young man entered the hallway. He seemed to be muttering to himself about something, and he was toting a ladder and boards. Was he a handyman? Did the school even employ handymen? Well, she figured that they would have to have people to keep the school in such great shape, but something told her he wasn't an employee of the school. Perhaps it was the glint in his eyes or the jovial way he carried himself, and the way that he made open conversation right at the start.
He seemed like a nice enough character, and his smile was infectious, as she felt one of her own tugging at the corners of her mouth.
"Umm, I'm not sure, actually..I just, sort of, stumbled upon here myself. Leon?"
She asked, turning to the spikey blonde haired boy.

Could you say pressure growing for the shy guy? He was getting more nervouse by the second as a second person entered the scene and spoke out. He even almost took a step back, but one thing thast did happen was his spear went from the floor to his hand real quick. After a moment of holding it he put it on the round magnetic plate apon his back and looked down once again. He decided to answer the first question asked of him by the girl, and in doing so would also answer the two new questions asked of him by the man with the ladder and the girl.
". . . Bored. . . Got nothing. . To do."
Which was how he felt right at the moment before Lienn had showed up. He still had those pauses in his words as if he where thinking about them, but what he really meant was that he didn't talk much and saying the words took some extra to do. Like a long forgotten language. He did not stutter with his words, they where fluent, but he just paused every so often. If you could warm up to him he would take without pauses, but getting to that point is very difficult. Getting him to talk about himself is even that much harder.

Torm smiled at the girl's answer. Looks like they just met each other too. As the Leon fellow responds to her question, his smile falters a little. This kid is incredibly nervous...maybe I shouldn't have bothered them, poor fella. Maybe it's just a matter of breaking the ice... He chuckles a little. "Bored, eh?" he says. "Well, sometimes the best thing to do when you're bored is to sit and do nothing. It gives you something to do, anyway."
Torm got an idea. "Here, I've got something for you guys. You're the first people I've met here, so, well..." Trailing off, he sets the pile of boards on the floor and fumbles inside a coat pocket for a moment. Removing a gauntleted fist, he opens his hand to reveal a collection of what appear to be metal insects. They pulse with light for a moment as Torm concentrates mana into them briefly, and they take to the air, playfully flitting around each other. An ornate butterfly, a speedy dragonfly, a couple of lumbering beetles, and a graceful mantis zoom and hover in a clumsy aerial dance. "Go on, take one, each of you. I made them myself. They won't run away, and if they start to seem sluggish, just give em a little mana to recharge."

A lone teacher walked through the halls with a strict step. In looks, he looked old. Well, he was.
Coming upon the students, he rearranged his tie...
You, kidsss, should be ssomewhere? Do, not loiter! There, are classsesss, going on, now! Here, all, three of you, are to, join my next class, "Unlocking your Magical Potential. Miss Lienn, and Mr., Leon, I exsspect, to sseee you both.... And mister Tormaigh, I, can barely contain, my exsstasscy at hoping, to see you in my class...
The teacher rearranged his tie again, shrugged his shoulders, and moved on his way. He stopped at a seemingly standard wall. Rearranged his tie and crooked his head left and right, and a door slid open, revealing a very bright white light, that he walked into, sighing. The 'door' slid shut behind him, turning back into a standard wall.

Lienn blinked as yet another person entered the hallway. A moment ago it was practically deserted! But this time she couldn't say she was excited by the newcomer. The historian, ahhh..she flinched slightly as he began to chastise them for loitering. They weren't loitering! They were talking, sort of. The young woman heaved an exasperated sigh, another class with him, oh joy.
"Yes, sir."
She replied submissively, not in the mood to argue at the moment. How bad could it be anyway? If Torm and Leon were expected to go as well, perhaps it would be a little more entertaining than the other class. Perhaps being the oerative word.

Torm can't help himself and lets out a laugh once the elderly gentleman's secret door finished becoming blank wall again. "Now THERE'S a guy with class!" he bursts out, and then, after a pause, guffaws again as he realizes that he has made a pun. The man had unsettled him a little, but every inch of his carriage had spoken the word 'gentleman,' so he couldn't be too bad. Appearances can be deceiving though... "It'll be great to start learning something, and I have a feeling his class will be far from boring." He can barely bring himself to look towards Leon. He had to be ten times more uncomfortable now, with yet another person having appeared to assail his self-composition.
Two of the beetles collide in midair with a tinny metallic 'toonk,' reminding him of the small cloud of whirring, clockwork insects that is still buzzing about. "Oh yeah, go ahead and take one you two. Or not, that's ok, I won't be offended. By the way, the name's MacRallagach. Tormaigh MacRallagach" Torm says invitingly, and he speaks the name with heavy Gaelic inflections. "...but friends call me Torm. Saves time." Being a gentleman himself, he extends a hand to the young lady first, and the reflective metal segments along the back of his leather gauntlet, giving the impression of some crustacean's layered tail-plating, flash in the sunlight from the window.

Jesus! Do people crawl out of the walls here or what? Leons hand had shifted to a spear with a white knuckle grip around it, though the whinning cry of his gloves where the only evidence of this, he at first did not recognize it, but once he came close enough and that voice came to him, he recognized it to be his teacher, the one that taught that fire ball spell. Leon still couldn't use the spell right, it just went out a few feet after launching it and he had to concentrate pretty hard to keep it lit. He let go and put his hand to his side and gave a respected bow until the teacher went into the door.
Leon had seen one of the metal bugs, a preying mantice to be precise. He tilted his head to the side and it stared at him. He raised an eye brow and moved his hand down slowly to it amazed at it. It crawled into his hand and swayed in the wind and motion as he lifted it, just like the real thing. Leon cracked a real, honest to god, smile. It would be some of the first signs of the true him showing. even if it was just that little bit. Leon decided on his own without being asked a question to speak infront of these two.
". . . Interesting fellow. . . I'll. . . keep it."

The young woman smiled, this newcomer was quite the friendly fellow. A slight rosy tinge graced her cheeks as he extened his hand to her, such chivalry..She extened her own and shook his hand warmly.
"I'm Lienn Deveraux. Pleasure to meet you, Torm."
She said, settling with his nickname as she was sure she couldn't repeat the whole thing if she tried. It was no wonder his friends had settled with a singular syllable. She tucked a rogue strand of her long blonde hair behind her ear, considering him for a moment, her eyes straying to the brightly colored ladder once or twice, it was a bit of a peculiarity.
"Are you new here?"
She wasn't quite sure, being fairly new herself, so everyone was quite unfamiliar to her. But if he was going around introducing himself as well, it was safe to assume that he had just arrived, or something along the lines. She gave a wary glance at the swarming things around him, but didn't respond to his offer. She wasn't much of an insect fan, mechanical or otherwise.
