Charming Boredoms (Phaedra)

[Yoshinya Eidorian]

Yoshinya sighed with boredom as he walked around the halls of the Academy looking for something, no, ANYTHING to do. Damn it to hell Lucian or whatever the frell his name was screwed up his thing with Aurora that he had going. Lightly Nether Fire danced around Yoshinya's fingertips as he walked down the hall in an irritated mood. Who wouldn't be? Some random emo bastard just randomly walking up when you were purposefully trying to charm a girl. And then claiming that you didn't see them. HAH the bastard didn't do any work in the conversation anyways the lazy prick. He sighed and lightly let the flames snuff out on his palm before restarting them letting the little flame dance from fingertip to fingertip. SURELY there was something to do something that he could USE his charms on and make the day more interesting but, nooooooooo so far no luck.

They call this a school?

Awwww Rilith gimme a break the guy botched prom...

Yoshinya sighed as he walked down the hall looking for something to do. Something that would spark his mood or sharpen his edge at least.

[Phae]

It was late and after prom. She hadn't seen Blacky in a while but that really didn't matter. They had hit it off and gone to prom. She had fun there she supposed but they never even danced so there was kinda a awkward thing at the moment but she'd probably go drag him out of his room eventually.

Phae ran her hand through her red hair as she walked down the hallway. She had taken a shower and her hair now dry hung around her body just right. Pure red silk. On her tight toned body she wore a denim pleated skirt that was as short as some anime school girls and a button down white collared shirt with a red tank underneath. The shirt buttoned across her stomach only so it accented her body rather well.

Her sword hung on her left hip just right and she walked balanced with it showing that she had it most of her life and was well versed in using it. She was heading somewhere probably to the cafeteria to grab some hot chocolate before going for an evening walk or something. She didn't feel like being in her lonely dorm room at the moment.

So it was thus she walked down the hall humming her own tune and bouncing to it lightly. Her skirt flaring slightly as she danced to her own theme in her head as she headed for the cafeteria.

At last the light of the sun must be smiling down on him because there was the light. The woman who he didn't know her name just yet but, he intended to find out as he positioned himself on her path and carefully considered his move. Wavey red hair that was almost wonderful and begging to be touched as he gave a small smile. He didn't miss the sword at her side but, she had that bold sort of look that said she didn't fear anything and he couldn't help but, like that. He drew the rose of the day. Appropriately it was a red one as he let it flare with nether fire behind his back and he approached her so casually. Rilith winced mentally sensing something about this girl that wasn't going to bode well for her charge. She was going to warn him but, instead gave a small smirk and leaned back so to speak deciding that Yoshinya had to learn the hard way.

"The heavens themselves must have smiled when giving life to you dear lady," Yoshinya said with a smile as he tossed the flaming black fire rose that landed on her shoulder so casual was the toss the flames snuffing out revealing a beautiful red rose that matched the color of her hair and Yoshinya gave one of those bold smiles as he walked towards her pressing off the wall. He picked the rose up off her shoulder and placed it gently in her hand for a moment giving a smile.

"How about we go get something to drink and do some introductions maybe go out for a walk somewhere and enjoy the evening? It's a waste to call it a single night with the stars supposed to be so bright the view being so spectacular at this altitude." Yoshinya said with a smile.

Rilith winced.

This wasn't going to be pretty.

[Phae]

Phae heard words and she stopped. She rolled her eyes as the words were nothing more than a line. She sighed and saw the rose covered in nether fire land on her shoulder. She took it off and held it in her hand for a moment as the nether fire died. Nether fire wasn't her favorite thing. She looked up at him and reignited the rose only she let her fire consume the rose with nether fire.

"And just how long did you work on that cheesy line? Because honestly it leaves a lot to be desired."

She tossed the rose back letting the now blackened thing land on HIS shoulder. She turned on her heal screwing his invitation of walking under the bright and spectacular stars. She was on the way to get something tasty to drink and he and his rose could go find a table and share the night together. Humming once more Phae continued walking on her way and man.. she was hot.

He hissed sharply in surprise at HER using nether fire as casually as he did and he wanted to just give a rare chuckle. So she knew the secret of Nether Fire as well which meant he couldn't just randomly charm her with the black flames. Man oh man the one girl he had to meet and she had spunk in her and wasn'[t charmed by the cool flames. He tossed the blackened rose in the trash as he instead fell in step beside her lightly gazing at her. She had a body that men would declare war over, so trim and tone showing that she kept fit her hands had a slightly calloused look that suggested she used her sword quite a bit. Well that was rather lovely he was trying to hit on the one girl that would totally dice him if he wasn't careful. Situation? Screwed. Or at least that's what many would say. Indeed a practiced charmer like Yoshinya wasn't easily side-swiped.

"So you know Nether Fire, something that I was not expecting to say the least no matter," Yoshinya said with a small smile as he walked beside this woman and fell in step with her easily. He heard her sarcastic comment on the line and had wanted to give a grin on that. She had bite.

"As for the line well hey you saying something is better then just emoing in some corner and saying nothing. Or spewing out that love at first site blathering," Yoshinya said with a small smile.

Not that I wouldn't mind being in that situation with her...

[Phae]

HA! I caught him off guard. Hell yeah!

Phae loved being able to catch people off guard and to catch a guy off guard was even better. Most of them thought they were so cool and awesome she just wanted to roll her eyes and laugh at everyone of them. He mentioned the nether fire and walked along beside her.

"Ooo yes girls can learn. You know I think that started back in the stone ages but you might wanna look it up just in case." she replied with a wink.

He began talking about his line and she looked up at him. She had to admit he was rather cute but she was sure as hell not going to tell him that. And why was he following her? She sighed softly and ran her hand through her hair for a moment.

"So since you've decided to become my familiar what's your name?" she asked as she turned right and headed off towards the cafeteria.

Yoshinya removed his shades and snapped them closed tucking them into a jacket pocket and he looked at Phae with a small and sly smile on his lips for the moment. This girl had good counters and he loved the way that she had spunk and bite in order to play it just right. He gazed at the sword's sheath for a moment and noted it was well-worn had that practiced sheen to it that showed that Phae took care of it but, also used it alot. He gave a small mental grin to himself this was going to be a challenge that he sure as hell wasn't going to back down from.

"Oh I never said that girls couldn't learn, quite the contrary sometimes guys out-do gals and sometimes gals out-do guys it just shows the endless competition and fun," Yoshinya said with a broad grin as he heard her next comment and gave a small little snort as he turned to look at Phae with an almost priceless look.

"Afraid I'm not familiar unless you want me to be," Yoshinya shot back at her as they continued to the cafeteria and were not entering it Yoshinya still tagging along.

"The name's Yoshinya Eidorian, a new student here so to speak, so are you going to grace me with your name or show me the pointy-end of your sword," Yoshinya said with a smile at her.

[Phae]

Phae looked up at him. He was really good about taking her witticisms and she liked that. Most guys ran or decided her attitude wasn't worth the way she looked. But it was all really a defense. She got hit on a lot and it bugged her to no end sometimes and she so was able to drive off a few of them just by being an ass.

Yet this one, her new familiar, was a persistant one and she hadn't been able to get rid of him quite yet. She smiled thinking of all the ways she could do it but decided she'd rather not walk alone and so for now she would humor him it would most likely not kill her and she could probably chop his most precious organ off with little to no effort so.. why not.

"Yoshi huh? Guess your folks had a Nintendo complex. Poor guy named after a tiny green dinosaur. That sucks." she chuckled.

He asked for her own name and she smirked wondering why he thought he deserved to even think she would spar with him. Because honestly she could take the kid out in her sleep. She didn't think he looked all that tough and she was well versed in her swords play.

"The name is Phae." she said in regards to herself.

They entered the cafeteria and she went to the drink booth. It was a small cart that carried coffee, tea, and hot chocolate from around the world. Grabbing one of the larger styrofoam cups she filled it with steaming hot chocolate and waited as it filled. Once done she put one of those snazzy 'starbucky' lids on it and waited for 'Yoshi' *chuckles* to finish getting whatever he wanted.

He actually gave a laugh at her calling him Yoshi after the famous Nintendo character of the ever-popular Mario series of games. She was truly pulling all the stops and Yoshinya wasn't going to back down from what that obvious challenge she had just thrown down in front of him. Instead he gave a small smirk as he turned to face her with one of those smirks crossing his lips. He couldn't help but, accept the challenge and show that he wasn't going to back down from it all. She had some bite fine he was going to show that he was perfectly willing to bite back and play her tune as he gave another chuckle.

"Ah how I wish my parents named me after a Nintendo character ah well such is the sufferings. Actually Yoshinya is the name of a shao-lin temple monk that studied in my family. Yoshi my shortened name stands for Goodness and Luck in traditional japanese," Yoshinya said with a smile. "So in a way you could say I'm a good luck charm," he gave a wink at her as they continued to walk towards the drink stand.

"As for your name hmmmm a flightly little thing but, from your callous hand grip and the well-worn sword sheathe I'm going to say insteady of a flightly forest creature you're the kind that delivers the ass-kickings," Yoshinya said with a small smile at Phaedra as he himself got a large thing of hot green tea with a bite of sweetener to go with it.

[Phae]

Phae leaned rather sexily against the cart and watched as he filled a cup with green tea. That crap was foul but hey what every floated Yoshi's boat right? Heh. Yoshi. When he was finished she listened as he said something about her own name. She smiled.

"Hey, at least my name doesn't come tinged with green and a sqeaky noise." she chuckled.

Leaving a tip on the cart for whoever supplied it she walked to the back of the cafeteria. She knew her new pet would follow and so she didn't bother to look back after him. He seemed to be very interested in gettiing to know her. She rubbed her eyes rather sleepily. She had a huge problem sleeping alone and ever since breaking up with the still non existant Junpei and now the lack of the ever absent Blacky she had been forced into exhausting herself to sleep.

She was getting close to another full night of sleep another day or two would probably do it and she'd pass out in her room and be asleep for an entire day. She sipped her steaming cup of hot chocolate as she slipped off her flip flops and keeping them in the right hand while her left held and helped her drink her hot chocolate. The soft grass beneath her feet was heavenly. Reminding her of the times back home when she and Phoebe would sit in the grass and watch the stars.

"So where are you from?" she asked knowing he was there.

He gave a small smile at her return as he began to walk beside Phae once again having a pretty damn good time no doubt about that. He continued walking beside her they now entering the outside as he gazed at the beautiful starlight. Still Yoshinya didn't miss her sleepily rubbing her eyes and he gave a gentle frown for a moment. He'd have to do something about that without tripping her up and making him think he was doing the whole pity bullshit. He already guessed that Phae wouldn't down that and would just smack him hard. There was something just off about her that paused his worry and Rilith nudged him lightly confirming this. Instead he got to Phae's side and slipped an arm around her waist nudging her to sitting down with him in the grass so they could gaze at the stars.

"Japan actually so you were pretty right on the money when you called me Yoshi and quoted the nintendo character. Closer to Tokyo my parents own a compound quite a few miles outside of the city where they do buddhist retreats now and then for free," he said with a smile as he lightly ran his fingers against her side and then just laid back so casually tugging her into laying on her back with him. They were outside there was no problem with that but, he was going to try and see if he couldn't get her to nap.

"Rather nice actually I always enjoyed stargazing with one of my older brothers," he said softly.

"What about you oh mighty Phae of the sword where do you hail from?"

[Phae]

Under the stars was one of those places that she truly felt happy and at home. No matter how far from home she was the stars were always a comfort to her and she loved them. Often times she would sit out on her balcony of her dorm and just watch them. Phae was very thin and toned but she wasn't too thin she was just perfect in that way.

Her eyes shot open wide to say the least when someones arm found its way around her waist. Only Blacky had gotten away with that and he had been very lucky. But alas she hadn't seen him in a while so perhaps he had moved on. Not really liking her to begin with. She didn't let it get to her. He would find her if he wanted to.

She sat down in the grass as 'instructed' and she looked up at stars. She wasn't going to lay down with a stranger at all. That wasn't her style. She didn't feel that instant connection she had with Blacky and she had not quite given up on the swordsman that had stolen her heart.

She chuckled at his comment about Phae of the sword and where she hailed from.

"I'm from Germany. And I used to sit under the stars with my younger sister." she said softly as she leaned back on her hands looking up at the night sky.

"Germany it must be nice to be from Europe so many rich cultural histories all close togeather it must truly be awesome," Yoshinya said with a smile as he layed back gazing at the stars and just smiled closing his eyes for a brief moment. He saw that Phae had at least leaned back and that was well enough he wasn't going to 'move' her again just yet just enjoy the starlight. He gazed at the stars soft wonder in his eyes as he just enjoyed the moment of it all and felt at peace almost. He sighed softly and contently as he listened to the sounds of the evening breeze and just opened his eyes after keeping them closed.

"It's so peaceful under the stars, the spirits dormant or slumbering in an area that is right as far as chi goes." Yoshinya said he was in-tune with the area now as he opened his eyes for a moment gazing at the stars. He always wondered now and then just where everything went as he turned to smile at Phae after sipping at his tea for that brief moment.

She looks beautiful in the starlight.

Yoshinya thought to himself.

"You seem at home under the stars your mood seems more stable and relaxed," he said with a light nudged in her side.

[Phae]

Phae wondered why Blacky hadn't come to her after prom but she assumed that he was doing something. She just hoped that he hadn't moved on already. If he had then she would deal. Junpei had so if he had she would just live her life again on her own terms. She looked up at the sky and let a hand come up and rub her over tired eyes.

She yawned softly before the hand went back down in the grass. She grabbed her hot chocolate and began to sip it some more. It was a nice night but she was so tired. It might be tomorrow when she finally collapsed into sleep. It was becoming a habit for her. She hated being alone. She supposed it was the long months of sleeping wrapped up in Junpei's arms. Even when she had gone out on a date with Blacky she had fallen asleep in his arms.

"Is that so? Well I guess I am. How can you not be though? It's like proof something bigger out there exists. I find they invoke thought and relaxation. They just mesmerize me." she said softly as she leaned back once more her red hair hanging loose around her body.

"And do you normally spend your nights with over tired strange girls?" she asked turning to look down at him.

He gave a smile as he listened to her speak and gazed at the sky nodding at her. It was indeed mesmerizing and relaxing at the same time provoking powerful curiousity. Made a person actually wonder just what was out there. For Yoshinya it always made him calm and quiet no longer being bothered by whatever was on his mind before he gazed at the stars. He was intune with the world and the stars always evoked a sense of calm and peacefulness on everything that gazed up at their radiance. He heard Phae yawned and turned his position to gaze at her eyes seeing the circles for a moment and lightly wrapped an arm around her waist.

"Once in a lifetime occurence so to speak but, are you sure you want to waste your time with a guy rather then get some sleep?" he asked with a small smile up at her as he reached up and lightly touched her cheek sitting up for a moment and gazing into her eyes with his own as he looked up at her.

I wonder why she doesn't sleep much...

He gave another of those small smiles but, there was more concern rather then the I'm going to score sort of look.
