What to do now (phae)

[Junpei]

Junpei did infact sleep threw the night, a most peaceful sleep up untill Phae left and he was left alone in bed. The wings stopped glowing soon after she left, the summon realising her effects were no longer needed. So Junpei began to dream, of this and that, his mother, his father, Negi, Xeryth, Phaedra, all of them seemed to flash in and out of his mind as he dreamed. All of these peopel had touched him in some way, his mother and father had raised him. Negi had been there threw the worst times and the best, a little brother to be proud of. Xeryth had been a friend when he had none, someone tha Junpei had come to consider family since the young byo had none. Finally came Phaedra, she was most vivid. HIs mind flashed to images of them, living together, the past three days, them making love, his wing being burnt in, the first time he kissed her, there first true sleep together, him holding her as she cried, them eating togther, all of it played at the edges of his mind, like someone was trying to show him his life.

Junpei rolled in the bed and the covers fell to his waist, the wings now hidden against the sheets. He broguth a hand up in his sleep and laid it on his chest, his other hand on his stomach. He remained like this till morning, when the sound of a page turning woke him.

"Phae...?"

[Phae]

Phae read through the night. She was engrossed in the book she was reading and only stopped momentarily to watch the sunrise. It was beautiful they way it set over Junpei's features casting the most beautiful shadows and light spots over his features. She wanted to go over and touch him but knew he needed his sleep and so she continued to read only stirred when she heard her name.

She looked up from the book and sat it down walked over to him and sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Good morning my dearest love." she spoke in a soft voice not wanting to startle him awake.

She took his hand in her own and laid it on her cheek as she nuzzled into it and then placed a kiss on the back of it sweetly her lips lingering for a moment.

"Did you sleep well?" she looked at the clock it was 9am and she had been up for six hours. She sighed inwardly as she felt a little tired but needed to set her body back on it's regular schedule it was going to be a long day.

[Junpei]

"Mmm of course, you were hear weren't you?"

Junpei yawned slowly and pulled his hand back, only to stretch it over his head and ear his shoulder blades pop. He laughed a bit as he brought his hands back down and laid one on her leg, smiling.

"How did you sleep?"

He knew in his subconcious that she had left sometime in the night, now he wondered how she was doing. She still looked a tad tired, soft rings under her eyes gave that away.He rubbed her leg softly, not liek before, just a subconcious act whenever he left his hand in place to long. He always seemed to be moving these days, always reading or re-organizing. It was amazing how much he seemed to be doing these days. GOign to Germany with Xeryth... going to... had he really been THAT close to her before? Suddenly he broke out laughing and he sat up, nuzzling his love's neck as he got up.

"Love, you're not going to beleive this but i;ve been to Germany before, several times actually."

[Phae]

Phae watched as he took his hand back and popped his shoulder blades before setting that same hand on her leg and began rubbing it slightly she always loved it when he did that the constant motion was relaxing to her.

"I woke up six hours ago and have been reading since." she told him honestly and a yawn betrayed her tiredness. "But I'm fine really."

She was shocked when he began to laugh suddenly and pulled up nuzzling her. She didn't know what was going on til he said he had been to Germany.

"You have? How wonderful we may be going to visit one day together I want you to meet my family." she said to him holding him gently and rubbing his back. "When were you last in Germany? How did you like it? Where in Germany where you?"

The questions came fast and it was obvious she was excited.

[Junpei]

He laughed a bit as a flurry of questions hit him, one afetr the other. He had to think, where exactly had he been? Deciding to answer all three in rapid fire answers he smiled a bit and gave her neck a good morning kiss before answering.

"Was there about a week ago, with Xeryth. I always love going there, so pretty. We were on the Autria Germany Border, right where the Alps begin. There's a small town there, at the base of the mountian. Not to sure on the name but I beleive it statrs with a S."

Junpei then leaned back and gave her a very stern face, his eyes betrayed that he was very happy though.

"Now Phae, we can;t have you staying up till alll hours of the night doing god knows what, from now on a good 8 hours of sleep or else you'll be punished."

Junpei gave her a quick kiss before leaning back, wondering how she would react to all that he had just said. To be honest with himself he wouldn't know how to respond, then again knowing the answers and the exact details did help. He grinned on the inside, his mind waking up fully to appreciate this little conversation.

[Phae]

"That's amazing!" she said excitedly. "Just a week ago I was wondering the streets of Berlin why if you had been there we could have met. To think you were so close!" she said enthusastically.

She felt him kiss her neck and talk about staying up late. She laughed at the thought of punishement and knew it would probably be something like tickles or kisses something along those lines. She knew that Jun wouldn't physically hurt her that wasn't his way. He hated hurting her and did everything he could to prevent it.

"I couldn't help it I woke up and it was dark so I thought to read but before I knew it the sun rose and then I had been reading for hours." she shrugged. "Tonight I will sleep a lot I promise."

She laughed and lay down next to him putting her head exactly where it fit just right her hand back in its usual spot. She moaned settling down in her favorite spot in the world.

"Jun dearest, what are we going to do today? We still need to work on your bond you said you would be studying a lot today, right?" she asked.

[Junpei]

"I honestly don't know love, after yesterday i'm thinking a day of rest is good, adn it IS sunday after all."

Junpei reached around her and held her in place, his right arm aroun dher waist, resting on her hip softly. He bit his lip as he thought of something they could do and still stay relatively quiet and calm. He didn't want her to go threw another day like yesterday, not again, not ever. Looking down at ehr he smiled and then bit his lip again, he was running low on ideas. Finally he got one that would keep them peaceful, let them get work done, and have a little fun while doing it.

"I ave an idea. How about we do this... I read a chapter from my fusion book, you read a chapter from your book, adn once we're both done we can have a thirty minute break to do whatever. East, take a nap, do anything. How's that sound love?"

Junpei hoped she jumped on it, for if she didn't he was going to have to think up something else, and that idea sounded perfect. Assuming it took him 15-20 minutes to get threw any one chapter, adn that it was a seven chapter book.. he could study for almost 4 hours and still get some fun in.

[Phae]

In his arms was her favorite place to be. It was warm and comforting nothing could drive fears away like he could. She felt him wrap his arm around her resting sweetly on her hip and she closed her eyes just enjoying the wonderful sensation of being next to him. She listned to his idea and smiled opening her tired eyes to look at him.

"I like that idea." she said sweetly and sat up. "It really sounds like a solid plan I get to spend time with you and you can study at the same time."

She moved off the bed and grabbed the book from earlier opening to one of the last chapters having started it six hours ago she was basically finished. She came back to the bed and gave her fiance' a gentle kiss in his sweet spot before grinning and leaning back to read.

[Junpei]

Junpei smiled as she agreed to his plan, her own voice was showing that she loved it as well. Junpei chuckled softly as she got up, he did the same only moved to the closet and grabbed his book og fusion. He sat down before her and she came back, book in hand, and gave him a teasing kiss. Now she was teasing him, how unfair could she be?!

"Mmmm hold that thought for fifteen my love."

Junpei flipped open the book and immediately dove in, his eyes scannign the page, reading word after word, line after line. It took him a good fifteen, about twenty, minutes to read the first chapter that detailed fusion at it's core. Not only that it went in to explain the effects of a good, and bad fusion. Bad fusions would equall Junpei loosing total control of his mind and body, good fusion was when the fusor was in control afterwards. Either way Phae would never learn of the ill effects, nor the good, she would only know that this would work. He wouldn't worry hwer with this, only make her happy with it.

"Done."

He said placing the bookmark. He looked oevr at her, wondering if she was done or not, maybe she tried to cheat and read ahead even, go knows he almost did.

[Phae]

Phae was a reader from a young age loving books and the stories they told. She could easily dive into a book and fall in love with the characters. She was a fast reader probably faster than Jun but the main thing about this book was the chapters were only ten to twelve pages long. So in the time that it took Jun to read his one long chapter she had read ten of her own finishing the book at the exact moment he said done.

She looked up closing the book and getting up to place it on the shelf where it belonged now that it was finished. She turned to him and made her way back to the bed sitting down stiffling a yawn unsuccessfully.

"So love our little bit of relaxation, what do we do?" she asked a mischevious smile crossed her face.

[Junpei]

"Why don't you chose this one."

Junpei said giving her a wink. He had seen the yawn, laughted a bit even, adn had noted that she was going to be getting a new book. He wondered exactly what she was going to do though. A million things went threw his head, food, her lips, just lay down and relax, continued to chew on his lip, ow that hurts, damnit stop chewing on the lip, STOP IT!

He let his lip go and smiled nervously, a small blush rising over his nose adn upper cheeks. He quickly looked at the bed and traced a small circle in it with his index finger, what would she chose to go him?

[Phae]

Phae thought about what she would want to do she was tired oh yes very tired but she knew that the last thing on ol Junpei's mind was sleep. She sighed and lay back on the bed thinking about it. Another yawn. Her body was fighting her in every way.

She wasn't hungry though not in the least even though she hadn't eaten since yesterday. She was not hungry so that was out of the question. Though if Junpei had her way she knew that he would be forcing some form of nutrition down her throat later she was lucky she didn't have a headache yet though it was probably only because she was so tired.

"Are we going to do this all day?" she asked hoping that it was the plan. She was tired and if she could sleep now she would be up for more later. "If so I would like to sleep now and be ready for more activities later." she whispered biting her lip hoping it was okay.

[Junpei]

"MMM sure, you should get some sleep, come here."

Junpei quickly pulled her over to him adn laid down, her back against his chst, his legs intertwined with hers, and both their heads on the pillow, Junpei slightly above her thanks to his hieght. He laid both hands around her stomach, he wanted ehr to sleep soundly, safely, and most of all deeply. She needed a good two-three hour nap, so he woudl study once she drifted off. It would spoil their little plan, but she needed it.

"Go to sleep dear, i'll wake you up when it's time, just sleep Phaedra."

He leaned down and kissed softly behind ehr ear, then a bit lower. He hoped she drifted off soon, he truly did. As much as it would be fun to keep there little half hour game going, she needed this.

[Phae]

Phae suddenly felt so relaxed lying in arms of Junpei. She was comfortable and she had never been more relaxed. She felt a bit bad knowing he wanted to do something else besides her sleeping but she was too tired and there was little energy left in her body.

"I'm sorry." she whispered right before she fell asleep.

She fell into a deep sleep no astral projections and only a few dreams mostly of the man whose arms wrapped around her. She began to breath deeply she turned in her sleep cuddling into Junpei and from then she didn't move.

[Junpei]

As soon as Phaedra was asleep Junpei slipped his arms from around her and grabbed his book, going back to studying whiel she slept. He let her head rest on his shoulder as he read, the book resting on his stomach.

thirty minutes later he didn't wake her, just conitnued with his reading, hoping she would understand, he didn't want her to lose anymore sleep on his part.

- one hour later -

Junpei flipped into the middle of the book, his eyes scanning over the pages he couldn't help but let them widen as he read about the actaul ptocees. He would need a lot of sleep to do this, a 45 minute constant chant to sustain the users soul, hours of prep, he was going to be drained after this. He set his book down and ran a hand through his hair slowly, his other still lightly wrapped around Phae again, hand on her hip.

"So this is what it's going to take to live huh..."

Junpei honestly wondered if he was up to it, he knew he was ready, for Phae... btu woudl his body accept the transfer? There was always a risk, no matter how small that something might screw up and kill him mid fuse. He sighed this was a risk he had to take.
