What to do now (phae)

[Junpei]

Her words got threw crystal clear this time, how often DID he take Loish's advise, almost always. Th elittle lizard may be a smart ass but he wasn't stupid and he wasn't selfish, Loish had always been in tune with Junpei and knew what was ebst for him. Suddenly becoming vary aware of the situation he held her back as she ran a kiss over his neck adn ear. Looking her in the eyes he searched, not her but his own eyes for the answer. Was he gogn to marry this woman he just met thwo days ago... could he? No he had to know more, but he knew she was the one, even if his mind said no his heart screamed yes. Smiling to her he leaned in and placed his lips just over hers. His next few wordswere so delicate he thought he hadn't said them.

"Phae... I may not listen to his and take his advise all teh time, but this time.... I think I can say yes."

He closed the distance between them before she could speak and his tounge slipped out to slide into her mouth, softly exploringhis love's mouth he gave her inside thigh another soft rub with his knee nd his hands came to the small of her back, softly settling there he poured his love over the kiss and into her. He was sure he had been kissing her for close to a minute when his mind said to stop, he had no intention of breaking this kiss though.

Those words warmed her heart and filled her soul as he began exploring her body again his kissing deeper and it seemed as though he was trying to convey his love to her through his actions. She relaxed and let him do just that as she too tried to do the same thing. She kissed him for a very long time minutes in the least as she poured everything she had into the kiss and the touches she gave him. She broke it only to whisper one thing to the man she had grown to love more than anything in this world.

"I'm beginning to really like that lizard." she said giving him a wink and hoping he understood her underlying meaning.

She moved up into his arms more pressing herself against him her red hair falling back as she held herself up and kissed him deeply once more letting her teeth run across his lower lip everytime she pulled back for effect. She knew he liked that and she wanted to give him everything she possibly could. She loved the man on top of her and she would never leave his side. She broke the kiss once more to remove her own shirt before kissing him with more passion than before.

As she wispered the words Junpei could only smile at her and kiss her back as she started another kissThen she took off her shirt adn he coudl only do one thing, melt again. He leaned down and placed a warm, hot kiss in her chest, just above her right breast adn tehn run his hand's over the smooth but toned muscles on her stomach. Right noe Junpei Taltos could only kiss her, he was at a loss for words right now, he was at a loss for anythign right now except to pour his affection over her. He was however willing to give her a small break for tonight, and allow her a peaceful and relaxing sleep. Rolling over he put his love on top of him, pushing a strand on hair behind her ear he smiled sweetly up at her and gave her a soft kiss.

"You're to good to me love, but you shouldn't burn yourself on me. Before you know it we'll be doing this every night."

Not that Junpei would mind, of course he wouldn't mind, he was in love and wanted to show her in the ultimate way. He was however going to give her a chance to edn it. He would give her the time adn teh chance, she would have to take it though. He needed to do this, to prove to himself and to her that he wasn't exactly as Loish had said earlier. Junpei had morals as well as character, adn that meant he would let her decide wether or not to press this as far as it could go.

Phae felt his gentle kissed over her and she melted her hands in his hair as he moved around her placing the kisses here and there. Her skin heated from her heart racing the blood through her body.

She felt him stop and her eyes flew open as he lay down next to her giving her the option to stop or to go forward. She bit her lower lip thinking what she wanted to do. She wanted him yes, but she didn't want him to think that this was the only reason that she loved him. She would sleep well next to Junpei regarldless if this went further or not but she didn't want to pressure him and it seemed that he might actually want to stop. She furrowed her brow slightly in thinking not exactly sure what she wanted to do.

"If you want to stop then we will, love." she said and lay down next to him closing her eyes her red eyelashes laying softly against the pale skin of her cheek.

She was tired it had been a long emotional day for her and this weekend was going to be tough on the both of them as they prepared for the summon bond to prolong Jun's life which in her mind was more important.

"Jun darling." she said looking up at him. "It might be for the best though. You need as much rest as possible tomorrow and Sunday will be hard days for you studying and then bonding with your summon."

She cupped his face.

"There will be many more times like this after we get you back to healthy." she said with a smile and lay a gentle loving kiss on his lips.

She got up off the bed and turned to him giving him a bright smile. She moved to her closet and pulled down some black silk pjs a button down shirt with long sleeves and matching pants and she undressed and put them on her back to Jun as for some reason at the moment she was shy. She brushed her hair out and returned to him. Sliding in next to him she lay her head back in her favorite spot and looked up at him.

"My Jun." she whispered contentedly. "May I ask you something?" she knew he would say yes and so she went ahead.

"When you said you were going to listen to Loish what exactly did you mean by that?" she couldn't look at him she looked away waiting for his answer.

Her words, her actions, he didn't know what he wanted. Yes he wanted to sleep with her again, yes his hormones said to forget his last set of words and take her, but his heart... his heart told him, demanded of him to take this slower. The first 48 hours had been heavenly, but now... now he had to make a test of mind, heart,, adn will. He didn't want her to think that the only reason he loved her was for the fact that she would sleep with him and love him like she did, no he wouldn't accept that. Not only to himself, but to her, he had to prove that lack of sleeping with her was not going to ruin their love. It may seem stupid but to him, to him it was him showing how much he truly cared for her.

As she got up and changed, directly in front of him again he felt a blush rise over his nose, he was still getting the urge to spring up and press her against the wall, just lock her in a deep kiss and let the moment take it's toll on both of them. Once again his heart chimmed in adn overid any thoughts of lust he had, now he was loving hr not only for her body but for everything. Hell for the time being he wuld be happy to just have her back beside him instead of across the room.

AS she slid back into bed he lifted the covers and slipped under himself, then brought them down on top of both of them adn sighed contently as his love's head rested on his shoulder, in that same spot, he would never be able to sleep soundly again without that feeling. It was weird, how she could fit him liek a glove in everyway. Wether it be to calm him or to excite him, make him blind with love or see reason behind the unreasonable, she was exactyl what he needed in life and exactly what he wanted form it. What really shocked him him was her next few words, back to what Loish had siad earlier. Had e made a mistake in tellign her that, promising her something he could not yet deliver on.

He knew her, emotinoally and physically they were as intimate as any couple would be after several months of being together. However they had been involved for TWO days not two months and Junpei wondered if this was all going to crash around them.

"I meant... that I think I can one day.... pr..propose to you Phae..."

Junpei closed his eyes tight, he didn;t want to see her face right now, he couldn't if she was mad or sad or unable to bear it. He closed hsi eyes adn prayed, did what he had never done before in his life prayed to god that she would remain with him.

[Phae]

Phae heard his words and to say her heart didn't plummet would have been a lie but she didn't let on how much she had hoped. But it was stupid to hope really they had known each other for two days and had fallen head over heals for each other. Did she want to spend the rest of her life with Jun? Yes YES duh I mean really. The girl was completely in love and nothing was going to change that. But she had to admit that she understood the reasoning behind his answer.

"All right." she said and kept her eyes closed not moving from her spot. "Good night Junpei. I love you."

She relaxed her body next to him to prepare to sleep. She was tired and yawned once as if her body on cue decided it was tired. Her eyes hurt from the tears but mainly she was drained from all the emotions she had been giving and recieving lately. Love, pain, hurt, loss, acceptance...so many feelings that ran through her body when mostly happy and content used to reside there.

It was true that Jun was waking up other parts of her soul that she hadn't realized were dormant. She only hoped that she was having the same effect on him. He was her perfect mate in every way and she only hoped she was worthy to spend her life with him.

Junpei heard the sadnes in her voice, the sense of loss, he had royally screwed up. He wanted to marry her yes, but his mind, his damn logic kept on getting in the way. There was only one way to solve this, to just blurt out his true feelings and let her know. There was no other way, he would be pushing his mind into overdrive by doing this but.. he loved her, oh god how he loved her. As she said goodnight he pulled her in tighter adn squeezed his eyes shut. His next words so soft he doughted the had even heard them, and oh god how he blushed.

"Phae please...- gulp - Phae I love you a-and.. - gulp - Phae please... marry me...."

His eeys squeezed tightyl shut and he almost curcled into a ball, had Phae not been on his shoulder he would have. She was almost a sleep, maybe se hadn't heard him.. maybe she had and was about to leave him in the dust. God it was only two days ago that they met, and yet here he was outright admitting that this woman was his match, the one to carry him threw life no matter what. He didn't even know her family, just that she had a mom, dad, uncle, sister, cat, and dog. He knew she wasn't a picky eater and that she had the silkiest smooth skin he had ever felt. He knew she loved to be outdoors and loved to read, loved animals and wasn't afraid to try new things. He knew she had the sweetest lips and the cutest laugh, a sensual body and a strong body, one that made him keep up. She was on his mind 24/7 and every moment away from her hurt more and more. He couldn't stand being without her near him and if he ever lost her he woudl lose a part of himself. He knew she loved the demon flowers and had a love of magic that ran deep within her. She used a sword to catalyst her magic and she freaked at even the slightest show of ill effects. She was pure, she was innocent, she was a great lover, and most of all, she was laying next to him and admitting that she loved him as well. SHe was his everythign adn his something, she was tis and that, moon and sun, day and night, love adn hope, she was what he needed in his life adn she was his first love. She was a love so pure he dared not hurt her for fear of losing her altogether. He was on the edge of tears, he loved her so much, yet he was telling himself he knew so little.

[Phae]

Phae had resided herself to the fact that he would marry her one day but not soon. She could understand why he might not want to commit himself to such a relationship already and though she would be ready at a moments notice she knew that he needed his time. She wasn't sad exactly that he had said not yet but she had been hopeful.

But it was the next words that she heard while half asleep that made her eyes spring open as she stared out into the dark room thinking about what he said. She knew he was waiting for an answer but now going through her mind was why the sudden change of heart. Why did a few minutes ago he not want to marry her yet and now he did.

The answer was simple...guilt. The depression in her voice had made him understand what she was feeling and he felt bad for having done that. Though truth was while depressed slightly the possiblity had been there and that was enough it didn't help she was exhausted either. Phae sat up in an indian style next to her love and took his hand in hers looking at him in the dark.

"Love, I want to I really do but I won't let you ask me this because you feel guilty that I didn't like the first answer so much." she began. "I want you to ask me when you are ready when you aren't forced into it. If that is now then I will answer but if in your heart you find a place that tells you now is not the time I do not want to force a decision this large on you."

She turned away from him pulling her knees up to her chest and letting go of his hand. That had been the hardest thing to say in her entire life. She had never had to give up something she wanted to much for another. She would gladly give up her magic and her world to be able to marry him for him to hold her and say that he had meant it that it wasn't guilt. She swallowed the lump in her throat suddenly not tired now as her eyes stared into the blackness of the room.

The man that lay next to her in the bed was her knight in shinning armor however cliche' it might seem. He was the one that had saved her from the darkness she had been living in the one of a lost sister and moving away from her only family. He was the one that had healed her soul and the one that had found how big her heart really could grow. He was the one she gave everything to, hope, faith, love, and respect. He was the only one that deserved these things above all others. She loved him with her entire being and it had been so hard to say those words. She sat in the darkness her head on her knees as the tears began to flow silently down her cheeks. God how she wanted him to say yes.

Jnpei let the air in his lungs linger as she spoke, his hand coming up told him all he needed to know, her touch, her words, her feelings, two days of unending love and happiness. What was he doing now, he was following his heart. His heart screamed yes, a thousand times yes, and his mind gave up, it would never win, not against this woman he had come to call lover. He sat up as she turned around and he could smell salt. She was crying again, oh what had he done to her. His feelings for her ran pure, some people might call the two of them insane for finding marriage in two days. For moving so fast in what normally took people two years to do. It wasn't fast enough for him, he loved her, with everything he had he loved this woman and what she respesented. Commitment, he could handle, love, he had an infinite supply, devotion, he had never even seen another woman the way he saw Phaedra, yes Phaedra. She wasn't the girl he had met two days ago in the hallway, she was a grown woman, she was here, she was his, they were lying in a bed that untill last night had been so cold Junpei had ben numbed by it's scarscity of love. His soul was on fire, he would live for her, love for her, breath, run, play, perform, entertain, do anything for her. And here he was, sittting up as tears flowed down her beautiful face.

Turning to her he could only put his legs on either side of her, put his arms around hers and rest them on her hands, and nuzzle into his love's neck, her infinately loving being being so close to his, he felt elated again, just like the first time they kissed , just like the first time they slept together, just like the first time she said I love you, his heart pounded in his chest and his eyes slipped shut, a feint wisper leaving his mouth to travel on soft winds to her ear.

"Phaedra marry me and make me the happiest man alive. Please Phaedra, I want to be yours forever, I want to surrender my soul and body to your every need. I love you Phaedra, my love, my life, so please, marry me and let me love you forever..."

[Phae]

Phaedra...how she melted at the sound of him saying her entire name. she had always hated it when people used her full name but when Jun did it ... it melted her heart. She heard the words that came from his mouth and she cried harder. Tears streamed down her face but to look at her you would see nothing but smiles.

She turned quickly in his arms and threw herself into his embrace. She hugged him tightly the only being on this entire planet she wanted to be near and love.

"Yes, oh yes. Junpei." she whispered in his ear as she cried into his arms.

She felt something stirring at her soul. At a deeper level than ever before. It felt like a shell falling away from her heart and her soul as Jun worked his way into the greatest depths of all. He was now there in the core of her being never leaving never failing her love would never cease for the man that now held her as she cried the happiest tears of her life. She knew that she would never be able to live without the man next to her. Should he die she would die too her soul would die and an empty shell would be left. Her love for him transcended time and connected them in a way that most only dreamed. Two days of bliss had told her that this man was who she had been looking for to fulfill her soul and she had found him here eager and willing to open up to her.

She remembered when they first met and how he was afraid he would scare her away by being different but it was what made him so easy to love. Every different thing about him every small little quirk and idiosyrncracy was what made him even more endearing. Had they moved fast? Yes most didn't get married in two days but they hadn't said their vows yet. Just because they were engaged didn't mean they had to get married tomorrow but when Jun felt the time was right she knew that she would be ready.

Tears dry now she pulled back and kissed him gently her red hair falling around her as her lips touched his lovingly conveying the soft love that they had found together. How now that she had found him moments without him turned to hours. She smiled brightly at him ever excited about her fiance' .... that word just seemed to roll back and forth through her mind as she thought about the man who's eyes could never fail to captivate her.

"I wish I had something to give you a ring...or something." she whispered cupping his face.

Suddenly struck by an idea she moved to his desk where he kept his knife and unsheathed it as it would be easier to do this with a knife than a sword and she reached up taking a portion of her hair several strands thick and sliced it off the sound of the blade slicing her hair seemed echo through the darkness. She put the end of the strands to her mouth and braided the hair gently but tightly so that it wouldn't come undone. She moved back over to Jun after placing the knife away where it had come from and took his left hand in hers. She held it out and tied the braided hair around his third finger a gentle red braid now stood on his finger she broke off the ends and threw the excess away.

"There, it's all I can do for now." she said and kissed him softly.

[Junpei]

What is love? It' an emotion yes but how do we feel love? ONe might say that it is the deepest kind of understadning between two people, two ebings tha see in each other the kind of life they would only wish for with that person. There exists however a force so strong that even love cannot break it's hold, and that is the bond you share when your souls connect. At that very moment Junpei Taltos knew that if she ever died, he would become an empty shell of a man and never be able to love, feel, or care again.

"Phaedra.."

He said softly as he heard hr say yes, a tear rolled off his right eye and onto the bed, the only tear he had shed in front of her. AS she got up and moved away he almost panicked, his love's warmth adn feeling gone, but as she sliced her hair off and braided it into a tiny ring of red hair, he understood, she was giving him a ring. Smiling to himself he looked down at the ring before his love leaned and kissed him gently.

"It's more than enough Phaedra, more than enough."

He leaned down and kissed her, so gently it was almost unfeelable. He smiled as he puled back.

"If you don't mind, we should get to sleep, it's almost midnight, adn as much as I love this, Finace', I have to study up tomorrow, or it may not be a long marriage."

Junpei leaned in and kissed ehr once more, his tounge comming out to lick her lip before he pulled her down to sleep with him, his Fiance', it felt oh so right.

[Phae]

Phae smiled that he liked the ring she had made him. She was worried he would think it silly or stupid but it seemed to touch him and she was glad of it. She smiled at the word fiance' as they lay back down on the bed fully committed to one another.

Phae was tired and she was wrapped in the arms of the man she loved most. Her Junpei, her Jun, her love.

She cuddled into her usual spot...all of one night but it made no difference she would never be able to sleep well without his convertable shoulder to rest her head. She turned her body sideways her hand finding it's way once more to his chest after picking up the hand of the arm that was not around her and she closed her eyes falling asleep quickly.

Her breathing regular and a smile on her face as she slept next to her love and her companion. Junpei.

[Junpei]

Junpei smiled in the darkness as his love got back into her usual position, only this time he could say with clarity that he wasn't just her love, he was her fiance'. The word, would scare most men Junpei's age, but Junpei loved it, that word meant his future with her. His right arm held her tightly aroud the waist to him, his thumb moving back and forth over the skin at her mdrift. God how he loved her. His future with her.. it would happpen, even if Junpei had to find another way to keep his soul intact.

- several hours later -

Junpei woke up in the cool darkness of the night, his love sleeping calmly next to him. Junpei reached up with his left hand and wiped away the cold sweat that now accompanied his features. He ahd dreamed of the accident again, his parents death still haunted him at times and apparently this was one of those times.

Laying his hand back down beside him he gave his love an unconcious rub along the midrift with his thumb, her touch was already soothing his emotions and mood. Realising the window was still closed hr eached up with his left hand and pushed it open, bringing with a cool breeze. This high up in the sky you didn't have to worry about no wind, just the cold.

Sighing out loud JUnpei lay his head back again and let his eyes close images of Phaedra and himself flashing threw his head, images of two nights ago, the first time they had slept together, dinner, all the way back to the first time he had seen her smile.

- several more hours -

Junpei's eyes closed tighter as he heard his alarm go off. He had no idea why but on Saturdays he had always gotten up earlier, about 8 AM so he could catch breakfast and a shower, usually. Sighign out loud Junpei reached over with his free hand and turned the alarm off, he then raised the hand up to use the thumb and index finger to rub the bridge of his nose, clearing out anything in his eyes.

[Phae]

Phae woke with the alarm in her usual still half asleep state. She stirred against the man she loved her dreams had been wonderful.

Her and Junpei off on some vacation or their wedding when ever that would happen. She woke up with a smiled and used her fists to rub the sleep out of her eyes. She moaned a little and her eyes fluttered open and the room came into focus. She saw the ceiling the thing she loved second most about the room and then she saw Jun the thing she loved first above all else.

She smiled up at him sweetly and moved up on her elbow taking her free hand to cup his face.

"Morning Jun dear." she said in a light happy voice. "Sleep well?"

She kissed him gently on the lips her eyes closed for a moment and then lay her head down in her favorite spot once more deciding to lay there with him till he decided to move.

[Junpei]

Junpei felt her stir against him, his arm loosening to allow her to move mor freely. She looked up at him and he could only smile at her, his eyes already becoming alive and awake as he gazed down at her. As she spoke adn rose up he could only listen and give her kiss a soft press forward, returning it plus some.

"Mmm I always sleep well when I have you near me, and you?"

Junpei shifted a little and pulled her on top of him, his stomach and chest pressing against hers, his legs intertwined with hers now, he loved the way her skin felt on his and he could never get enough of that feeling. Now that she was his fiance' he would never let her forget that, he wouldn't have before, but now he had all the more incentive to make her feel like she was the only person in his world. Leaning up a bit he rubbed his nose against hers, allowing her to talk but still showing off his affections for her so early in the morning. Junpei's hair of course fell in soft clumps over his eyes and face, the bangs forming into spikes that ran down. Junpei would need a shower again, damn that cold sweat.
