Even if you were, Alastin has no say in this. He's not a moderator. This may sound like abuse of my powers, but that's what being a member versus a moderator means. Moderators make decisions. If I lose 1 member, that's cool. We might have lost more than just 1 member if we didn't do something like this. -=}N{=-im new so i didnt see that happening...personally Alastin, just let it run for a couple of weeks...there aren't gonna be any insignias to intice people into the teams like there were on 552 so this should be fine, just organizations for people to get some assistance, whether they just be weak in offensive magic and could use a little back up or they want to go for the greater good.

Really now? AA seemed to be running perfectly fine without this team nonsense that's only going to create trouble that wasn't needed. Characters have been proven to take unity as demonstrated in the missions even taken an organized stance. Stating that a system like this is 'needed' only dumbs down those roleplayers who have long been here and have been satisfied with the system that was in place beforehand. We can stand togeather against the odds if the situation demands it and we do not need some 'team' to show that we know how to work togeather.
This is utterly pointless.
EDIT IN RESPONSE TO Tristan: I agree that such things are nice but, a team isn't needed to do that. Exampel Torm and I agreed for Darian to train Arche in Gun Magic.
Alastin learning from Ziare to better control his summoning.
Kheldar learning from Seig to better his magic abilities to support his technology more effectively.
All that remains is the players agreeing to such a process and setting up a friend. An organization isn't needed to stay there and help them learn or gain aide simply forming frienships and partnerships is enough. There doesn't need to be a 'system' in place.

Well, the thing the ruined 552 in it's gang system was the fact that when you joined, you got a badge that boosted your stats. As it is, this system has nothing of the sort, and is just for character development's sake. I say roll with it!

Right. Forum teams just give members something to do. There are newer members that don't see much activity. This gives newer members an opportunity to fit in right from the start. It also gives veteran members a fun challenge if they don't join a team. If a veteran member does join a team, that member could be what makes the team worth joining. So what if members play favoritism? You'd do it anyway without teams.
