Eldran stopped laughing, smiled and nodded and grinned. "I like this city as well, because of the chances I have here for learning."
He grinned. "And all the art and photography shops I get to go for supplies around here. They love and hate me at the same time."
He laughed and chuckled at the same time. "I buy a fair amount of their best supplies."

Ziare smiled warmly.
"You have so much talent. It's wonderful." she said being honest. "I wish I had a talent."
She said looking distant wishing sometimes she had a talent that was useable something she could help people with and bring them joy.

He rolled on the ground laughing at her last comment. He was laughing so hard it brought tears to his eyes and made his face red. He could barely breathe.
"Your talent is being warm and caring to people. That's a talent right there."
He was grinning again. He had laughed so hard, he got up, only to whack his head on the table and fall into his chair, still grinning, because he was still laughing.

Ziare was taken back by his laughter she didn't understand what she had said that was so terribly funny.
"My kindness is a talent? You really think so?" she asked with a hopeful look in her eyes. She had never really been good at anything except summoning.

His sincereness shown through on his face as he smiled and nodded. "Simple kindness like what you show to people is a talent is one that can't be learned or taught. It's funny that some people can't realize simple things like that sometimes. That's why I was laughing."
He grinned. "That and everyone could benefit from a good laugh and a good mood."

Ziare brightened up a bit at his comment and smiled.
"Yes, I suppose you are right." she said. "Well looks like I'm talented after all." she said laughing.
"All right, I'm passing the puck back to you my friend, asking my name was a horrible waste of a question." she said laughing playfully.

Eldran grinned and then furrowed his brow the way his always did when he was trying to think of something.
"Hmmmm...."
He sat, thinking, for a little while. "What sort of life do you want to lead when you leave the Academy? What sort of career do you want to pursue and why?"

Ziare thought hard on that.
"Well, I would really like to get a staff position here. Teach elemental magic and summoning really." she said thinking about it. "It would be wonderful to teach to fill young minds with the knowledge they need to reach their powers potential. As to why? Well I love the city and I love this school. But I want to be able to get married and have children as well. I would like them to grow up surrounded by magic." she said smiling dreamily and thinking of a certain someone.
"What about you?" she asked

Eldran grinned and chuckled as he drank down some water, and reached into his bag for a brownie he unwrapped, broke in two and handed her half.
"Ironically enough, I want to teach here as well, but younger children, just the basics, and teach them about responsibility when using magic."
He swallowed the brownie in small bites, savoring the taste.
"And I'd like to teach more mundane subjects like drawing or painting perhaps."
He grinned and laughed a little bit. "But I've got a long ways to go before I'm there."

Ziare smiled and nodded.
"I think you would be good in that actually." Ziare said warmly. "You are wonderfully creative and have a great sense of humor that I think kids would really enjoy."
She ate her brownie quickly.
"This is really good. It can't be from the cafeteria can it?" she asked surprised.

Eldran shook his head and grinned. "Nope, I get it from a bakery off-campus. They make them fresh and they know me because I stop there on a regular basis in the morning."
He paused for a moment to remember something else and sighed in fond memory. "They also make a wonderful cinammon mocha."

It was Ziare's turn to laugh hard at the sigh and how he talked of the bakery.
"I think you and my friend Talbot would get along quite splendidly." she told him in between her laughter. "They are very good though you'll have to tell them."
She sat in silence for a while actually not knowing what to say. She let the breeze lift her hair and she closed her eyes just enjoying the company of a friend and the day.

He drank some more from his water bottle and then put it away. It was getting dark, and they had been talking for a long time.
Eldran grinned. "Well, we need some light." He ran through a mental list of simple magical spells, said a couple of arcane phrases, and a softly glowing ball of light came hovering into existence over them.
His tongue hung out for a moment in as his face showed exaggerated exhaustion and then he laughed and resumed his normal grinning expression.

Ziare was impressed.
"Wow that's amazing. See and you said you were talentless...tsk tsk not nice to lie to a girl you just met." she said playfully.
She pulled a candle from her pack and with a fire arrow lit the wick bringing a soft glow to the table and some heat for it was about to get chilly.

Eldran grinned and made an exaggerated expression on his face. "I didn't lie at all. I just said I don't have much magical power. I didn't say I didn't have any."
He uttered a few more simple arcane phrases, and a second ball of light appeared and broke apart into multi-colored glowing insects that flew around Ziare and would even land on her.
He sighed and sat back down in his chair and took a sip of water. "This is what I was studying today, it's an art oriented spell, and since wordology is so easy to memorize and recite, I gave it a try."
He was obviously a little tired from the spells, though he grinned and smiled at her.
