[Shea]

It was time for her to blush again. She felt different around this boy than previous ones. She swallowed and held his hand still. His head now leaning against hers. She let her eyes slip closed. A sign of complete trust. She knew he wouldn't try anything not really perhaps a kiss but she didn't figure him for the mauling type.

"I am pretty comfortable with you here too." she said softly. She was really comfortable in a sense that was odd for her. She didn't mind being alone in her dorm room with him.


"Would you like to watch a movie or something while we're here?" she asked. She had a small tv on her desk one of those dvd/tv combos. She only used it for movies but her parents had just sent it to her. She had tons of movies. "I have pretty much any movie you might want to watch."

He gave a smile at her closing her eyes. It was a sign of trust and that was something he valued. To earn someone's trust was not a light thing, and Darian was raised to respect that wholly. He sensed the way she felt comfortable and gave a small smile but, didn't try to make a move. One step at a time. He had a life ahead of him. And so did she. He heard her question and gave a smile. "Sure pop in one of your favorites."

[Shea]

Shea smiled and thought for a moment. She got up and turned on the tv tucking her hair behind her ears. She turned and opened the closet and looked through all the movies. She chewed on her lower lip as she let her eyes glance down them. She pulled out the movie Joan of Arc.

She put the dvd in the disk drive and pressed the button. She had the dvd player set to auto play so she wouldn't have to press anything. She turned out the lights the sunlight filtering in through the window still gave a lot of light but now there would be no glare on the tv. But they would have to adjust their position on the bed to leaning against the head board to see the tv best. So coming back sat with her back to the head board and positioned some pillows around it so they could lean on it comfortably. She leaned into the soft pillows as the movie started and she patted the bed next to her.

"Come on the view is better from here." she said.

"Looks comfortable to." Darian said with a smile as he moved over on the bed till he was beside her again. He briefly shifted until he was against her this time. Although this time he slid an arm around her to keep them close togeather. It wasn't a play for anything just mutual comfort. He had watched this movie before but, he didn't say anything it was one of his favorites.

[Shea]

Darian moved and put his arm around her. She blushed and smiled but leaned into him even more letting her head rest on his shoulder. The movie started and she relaxed once more into his embrace as the actors names quit rolling and the actual movie began. She concentrated on the movie but only half way. She was only too aware of his arm around her. She really wanted to close her eyes and fall asleep. She was so comfortable right now.

He watched the movie. Sort of. Really he could tell all the lines from heart so to speak he had seen it enough times. It was a classic and one of his favorite movies. He instead kissed her forehead gently and then whispered in her ear. "You look like you could fall asleep right now." He said with a smile.

She felt his cool lips on her forehead and she not only blushed but smiled. She looked up at him in time to hear his whisper.

"It's true. I'm just very comfortable." she admitted. She cuddled into him just a little more.

She hadn't really felt this comfortable with anyone before granted she had only met one other boy that had treated her nicely like this but something was different about Darian.

"I'm sorry. I feel safe with you I guess. I don't know. I could fall asleep right now and the only thing I would regret is that I would be missing time with you." she said a bit sleepily.

He saw her blush and her smile as she looked up at him and gave a gentle smile in return. "Well I'm glad that you're comfortable." He said in a whisper as he picked up the remote and muted the movie. It was obvious neither was really watching it. He felt her cuddle into him and just let her enjoying the feel of it. "No need to apologize." He said the last part in happy voice and nuzzled her back. "I'm glad I can make you feel safe, in fact if you want I will stay here with you as you sleep."

[Shea]

Shea couldn't help but smile. He seemed to be a perfect gentlemen. He had muted the movie as she lay in his arms and then he had told her if she wanted to he would stay with her while she slept.

"I don't want to make you do that." she whispered. "That isn't fair. If we were going to nap together it would be different but I won't make you sit here with me while I sleep. It's just silly." she said with a tiny nod.

Truthfully she would love to know what it felt like to sleep next to someone but she wasn't going to ask and certainly wasn't going to make him stay. No she would stay awake she slept fine on her own. But .. he was so warm.

"You're not the only one who get's sleepy from being warm and content against someone you trust." He said with a smiled and tilted her chin up kissing her on the lips for a brief moment. A brief kiss that expressed so much. So much better then words could manage. He held her close and gave a smile. "So how about we both go to sleep with neither of us having to leave this warm and cozy spot. That way we're both content and ensure each other is well-rested."

[Shea]

She smiled at the comment but there was nothing she could do when he kissed her gently. That was the second time she had been kissed on the first day of meeting someone but this was different. Much different. It sent warm and cold shivers coarsing through her body. For once she felt completly safe and completly happy. She was content and as soon as his lips were gone she longed for them again. But she made no move to claim them again. She listened to the other words he had to say.

"All right." she whispered the blush still painting her pale face pink from the kiss.

She cuddled into him a bit more. Her face pointing in the direction of him she closed her eyes. Her hand found the remote and by memory she found the button and turned off the tv. She put one hand on his chest. And soon she fell into a deep and relaxed sleep.

He laid down with her content that she had accepted and at the same time happy. The kiss had been electric to him. Something about her sparked him made him want more. But, he didn't press his luck not yet. He wanted to be with her, he wanted a relationship, not something that would break apart in a few days. He felt his eyes grow heavy as he pulled her close to him his face only inches from hers. He was soon asleep in a peaceful and restful sleep.

Shea felt him pull her closer right before she drifted off to sleep. She felt one hundred percent safe here with him and she had no doubt that Bella and Orchid were close by within mind range just not broadcasting thank any God that would listen.

Two hours later she woke not moving her body at all but her eyes opened and the only thing she saw was Darian's face so close to hers. She smiled and closed her eyes again letting herself be held longer until he too would wake.

He soon woke up a few minutes later his eyes opening and he gave a smile at Shea. She looked so beautiful like this. So peaceful and quiet like an angel almost as literally people would call it. He kissed her forehead sweetly as he shifted ever so slightly to make himself cozy. Watching her with his eyes we wanted to see her wake up.

She felt his soft lips on her forehead. She smiled a blush crossing her face. He was sweet. They had slept wrapped up in each other and she was completly comfortable. Her eyes opened slowly and she saw him watching her and she blushed deeper. He was cute the way he just watched her.

"Sleep well?" she asked not moving at all only letting her lips move to communicate with him. "I know I did."
