He watched her smile and gave an inward smile himself. Her face always seemed to light up everytime she gave a smile. It was an addictive thing to observe. Much like someone obsessing over there favorite book. He watched her blush again and gave a smile. She was so naive but, openly tried to be friendly and kind it was sweet. He nodded and smiled again. "Oh yes, I slept quite well, and it was quite pleasent to wake up beside you. Kind of a content feeling that one feels when they come home."

Home? She was like home? How much better could you get than that? She didn't really have that feeling when she went home so she really didn't understand what it meant. But she did know that a home was something that people charished feeling safe when there feeling comforted by just walking in the front door.


She smiled at him again. That comment had been very sweet. It was the one of the nicest things she had ever heard.

"I slept better than I ever have before." she admitted. It was true his arm around her his presence next to her. Had allowed her to be completly relaxed and not worry about a thing. She was safe with Bella but many times Bella hunted at night and she slept alone. So this had really been a nice treat.

"What should we do now?" she asked her hand raising to touch his face gently with the back of her fingers.

He watched her expressions change each time as she considered what he had said. It was curious to wait for her reaction and at the same time aggravating. Not in the impatient way but, wondering if he had said the wrong thing and second guessing himself. He saw her smile again and he returned it when she heard her comment. "Truthfully I slept very well as well, Orchid doesn't always stay curled up against me." He felt her fingers brush his face for a moment and he closed his eyes as he considered it. "I honestly don't know, even if we did nothing but, just sit here togeather I would be happy with it."

Shea couldn't help but smile at the thought of them just hanging out in the room together. She sighed happily as she let her eyes slip closed. She could tell it was already turning to the late afternoon but she didn't want to move.

"I think we'll just stay here for now." she said with a smile.

She cuddled up into him her head up against his chest. She smiled why was it she felt so comfortable with him? She had no idea. Maybe it was the fact Bella had left them alone. Or that he too had a familiar. But it was something innate. Nothing she could put her finger on just something she knew already.

"I doubt either of us are going to get restful sleeps on our own at the rate we're going."

He gave a smile and held her close to him happy that she was so comfortable and cozy. It was nice to just snuggle against a person rather then your pet. Knowing that the person would provide you physical conversation rather then clever mental ones. He began to sing softly to her as he let his fingers run through her hair. His voice was a soft and melodious pitch. He liked the fact that she enjoyed his company and had no intention of leaving soon.

Shea closed her eyes as she felt his hand begin to stroke and move through her hair. She relaxed letting her trust run to him again. She knew he wouldn't hurt her there was just something there letting her know that he had no intentions to hurt her.

His voice was soft and sweet. Actually talented in his singing. She listened. She took in all the words just letting the words and the melody wash over her. She remembered her violin was still in his room but she didn't care she knew she could get it later.

"You have a beautiful voice." she whispered when he would finish his song. She was completly relaxed. Her eyes closed her body limp his hand running through her hair had a lot to do with it. Somehow that always seemed to comfort her.

He sensed her complete and total trust as he held her and ran his fingers through her luxuriant hair. Her hair was like a fine silk that one found only in the deepest parts of China and Japan that remained true to the traditions. He watched her smile and relaxation knowing that what he was doing was the right way to keep her happy and comfortable. It was just a marvelous feeling because this feeling of contentment and relaxation was mutual. "Thank you." He said softly and tilted her chin up kissing her on the lips and holding it there.

Another kiss. His soft lips pressing on hers gently. Her eyes already closed it came as a surprise but though she opened her eyes briefly she closed them again as he held the kiss. She ran her hand across his cheek and then through his hair as she held the kiss their lips pressed together.

The sensations running through her body it coming almost alive small fireworks popping in her mind, her heart, all over as she kissed him. She broke the kiss gently and smiled up at him.

"Well, I can say I'm certainly glad we met today." she said with a bright smile her eyes bright her voice soft. "Would you like to maybe go somewhere for dinner?" she asked.

He watched her eyes come open for a brief second during the kiss as he felt the rush of emotion. Protection, love, trust, honesty, and a few others went through him rapidly. The kiss felt like an electric-jolt that was more addictive then any drug known to man. He felt her hand run across his cheek even as he ran his fingers through her hair. Her smile bright and total as he heard her comments and gave a smile. "I'm glad we met as well and dinner sounds lovely. Did you have somewhere in mind?"

The soft touch of his hand running through her hair was enough to not only lull her to sleep once more but to keep her calm and relaxed. Her heart still beating fast as she calmed down from the last kiss.

"Hmm, something different." she said thinking for a minute as she nuzzled into him a bit more. "Or maybe something casual like burger and fries at a diner. What are you into?" she asked looking up at him slightly.

He watched her relax and calm from the kiss as his fingers ran through her hair. Cripes this was going to get very addictive him sitting near her and running fingers through her hair. He felt her nuzzle into him more and truthfully wasn't going to say a word. He had a very cute girl snuggling up into him. That was something that was too good to pass up. "The burger and fries casualness sounds like something I'd be willing to try. I've never had either of them before." He said with a grin as he twirled his fingers in her hair for a moment.

Her eyes sprang open and a gentle smile came to her face as she turned a bit onto her side to look at him and face him.

"You've never had a burger and fries!?" she said with a big grin. "Well that settles that. We're going to go."

She smiled at him and leaned in kissing his cheek gently before laying her head back on the pillow again. She had to admit that before she came here there were many things she had never eaten or eaten seldom but hamburger and fries was about as classic as you could get and it was good.

He saw her smile and the way her eyes sprang open in a surprise almost like to her it was unheard of. He gave a rueful chuckle and held up his hand like he was swearing on something. "Never had that in my life. But, I heard it's pretty tastey." He said with a grin and felt her kiss on his cheek and flushed slightly. He hadn't expected her to do that yet and just gave a grin. He nudged her slightly. "So are we going now or did you just want a cuddle."

Shea chuckled and nudged him back playfully smiling all the while. She sat up and stretched yawning only slightly as her body began moving again. She stood up and grabbed a brush running it through her raven locks quickly.

She sat on the edge of the bed again and began putting her tennis shoes back on. She tied them quickly and left the window open for Bella and Orchid if they chose to return while they were gone. She grabbed her purse and hung in from her left shoulder to her right hip.

"Let's go then." she said with a smile and waited for him by the door.

Darian gave a chuckle and a smile as he felt her nudge him playfully and shook his head. She seemed so much different then from the beginning of their meeting. More happier and trusting, he knew that he couldn't screw up things with her. She'd be much worse off then before if he did. He watched her get up and move around before finally sitting up and slipping into his shoes.

"Coming coming."

He said with a playful grin as he left her dorm room with her and headed back to the elevator.
